- Nyina Holds Onto "Forever," In A Dreamy New Single
Hailing from Berlin, the ethereal singer-songwriter and alternative-pop recording artist Nyina focuses on healing past wounds in her new single, "Forever," off her recent EP, Look back with a smile. At the mere age of 20, Nyina has amassed a loyal following that constantly returns to experience her intimate songs and sonic diary releases. The Berlin-based artist is continuously writing songs and currently studying Popular Music to further expand her craft and broaden her musical horizons. She does so in her recent single, "Forever," a vulnerable and shimmering song that looks at the concept of healing from past wounds. The song is from Nyina's recent 5-track EP, Look back with a smile, an ethereal and honest project that brings listeners deep into Nyina's young-adult world packed with thoughts, memories, fears, realizations, and most importantly, wonder. Hitting play on the new song, "Forever," the experience peacefully opens with shimmering and dazzling keys that float down from above and cozy into the sonic foreground. As Nyina begins softly singing of nostalgia and the pain that lies within certain memories, she continues pulling our heartstrings with such relatable coming-of-age realizations about time's perpetual rate. As we reach the cathartic hook, Nyina reminds us how "Forever" still isn't long enough and how she yearns to make each moment on this plane worthwhile. Samples of childhood laughter and memories linger in the background to make the song feel that much more personal, and Nyina has no problem making the listener picture their own cherished memories that they'll hold onto "Forever." Seize the day and fill each blank space on your page with help from Nyina's chilling new single, "Forever," off her recent EP, Look back with a smile, now available on all digital streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Nyina. We truly appreciate the vulnerable and honest nature of your emotional new single, "Forever." What life experiences inspired you to create this deeply personal song? Thank you, I´m so happy about this opportunity! "Forever" is about growing up. I moved out of my childhood house and moved to a big city. I encountered some problems and realized that I don't want to let go of memories that made me feel like I´m free. I was not able to let go of those moments and wanted to go back all the time. I realized that even "Forever" wouldn't be long enough and that maybe it's good that things change because then you´re able to cherish them. Did you encounter any emotional challenges when writing your lyrics for "Forever?" Or does emotional songwriting come easy to you? I like to think that emotional songwriting comes easy to me. I write songs every day. For me, it's like my diary in which I talk about my feelings and emotions, no matter how sad or honest they are. What did you want to get across to your listeners in "Forever?" What did you want them to take away? With "Forever," I wanted to create a Song that just takes you away from whatever golden memory you have. It's a very nostalgic Song, and I wanted to honor all the beautiful memories I have. I want the listeners to take away that it's essential to let go of moments. Moving on and changing are positive things. You learn how to deal with stuff and become a better person. It's crucial not to live in the past. You can get caught up in it really fast, and you forget how to live in the present. Like I´ve said in "Forever," "Someday sounds nice, right?" I love that phrase, cause for me, it perfectly captures what I wanted to get across with "Forever." How does "Forever" relate to the theme of your recent EP, Look back with a smile? What is the EP about? "Forever" is the lead single from my first EP, "Look back with a smile." In general, "Look back with a smile" is a healing EP. I wanted to show the process of healing from past wounds. "Forever" is the nostalgic part of the EP. That part concentrates on the beautiful aspects of life. Letting go is not easy. I sometimes find myself lost in the past and holding on to them too much, that's why it was important for me to move on because I thought these were the only happy memories I'll have, but of course, that's not true. I think that nostalgia is not always a comforting feeling; that's why it's important to look back with a smile, acknowledge the good times and be happy about them, cherish them, and don´t hold on to them, just in a healthy way. I wanted people to feel heard and that they could relate. Whoever is going through tough times and is going through healing hopefully feels represented by this EP and maybe can find comfort. I wanted to create a safe space with that EP. A place where everyone can come back to and feel like home. What's next for you? In September, I will release a new single. It´s a chill summer song, and I´m so excited to release it. Also, I'm working on my second EP now, and I´m so thrilled. The concept is something new, and it's going to be so much fun finishing it and turning it into an amazing project. Instagram
- Tatiana Doesn’t Beat Around The Bushes In, “Tell Me”
Hailing from the City of Roses, silky-smooth singer-songwriter and r&b recording artist Tatiana asks necessary questions in her new vulnerable single, "Tell Me." Tatiana's gritty and candid lyricism, paired with her smokey vocals, has garnered her over 400,000 plays on SoundCloud alone. Not to mention receiving praise from acts like Jhene Aiko and Flying Lotus via social media. The self-proclaimed writer of love songs does what she does best in her latest single, "Tell Me." With palpable passion, emotion, and lust seeping through her vocals, Tatiana makes it clear that she's not playing around. This new single is a saving grace for individuals trapped in a similar, confusing situation about wanting someone who's unavailable. Elaborating on the new single, "Tell Me," the experience begins with soft r&b chimes and drums that slowly drift into the blissful first verse. With the addition of a melancholy saxophone, Tatiana blesses us with her stunning vocals that effortlessly chill the listener with her crisp articulation and delicate melisma. Although her vocals stop us dead in our tracks, it's her lyrics that keep us there. If you've ever felt like winning someone over was impossible and hope for loving them is slim, you'll have this song on repeat. Tatiana carefully dissects those turbulent situations while pleading for some clarity, anything to give her peace of mind. This is an incredibly intimate track that truly feels like a page ripped out of Tatiana's diary. When you can't find clarity, we're sure you'll find something you can relate to in Tatiana's tender new single, "Tell Me," now available on all digital streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Tatiana. We truly appreciate the honesty and vulnerability you've brought to your new single, "Tell Me." What moments compelled or inspired you to write this deeply personal song? Thank you for having me! Over the last couple of months, I've found myself entangled with people that were already in relationships. Naturally, there are a lot of emotions that come with trying to process these kinds of situations because you're trying to cultivate these connections/friendships while also respecting boundaries and knowing your place. It's all complicated. I just found myself constantly overthinking and drawing up scenarios of what could be, and writing this song brought me back to earth a little bit. "Tell Me" was my way of sharing my feelings about these people and moments without consequence. For the sake of sparing some special relationships, it was easier to write a song than potentially turn their worlds upside down. Did you encounter any personal challenges when creating "Tell Me?" Was it easy for you to be so open and vulnerable? I don't think there was a challenge in creating the track as much as in releasing it. My circle is already as small as it is, but Portland as a city is pretty small on top of that. There was a part of me that felt like I'd be confronted with the reality that these people I've been so infatuated with would eventually put two and two together. Being honest in my music comes pretty easy for me, but I think there was some anxiety about how open I was this time because of who was involved. This was probably one of the most accessible songs I've ever written because I already had all the words lingering in my head; I was waiting to let them out. My friend Shai Lu produced the beat and sent it to me a few months prior in a pack, and once I finally sat down and listened to it, the lyrics just happened. It was like I was aching to say everything I felt. As complicated as these feelings were for me, they also felt playful and innocent, like a schoolgirl crush. What do you want the listener to learn and take away from your lyrics in "Tell Me?" Unrequited love and the drama of wanting to be loved are things many people experience in their lifetime, so I hope that someone recognizes the feelings I'm writing about and that they feel seen. Bearing your heart on your sleeve is never easy, and I want my audience to learn that it's okay to feel and share those feelings in whatever way feels right, even if the outcome is not what we hope for. I think there's also power in taking ownership of those feelings and being honest with ourselves about what's coming up for us, so I'm also hoping that maybe this song will inspire someone out there to pursue whoever it is they've been thinking about. What have you got to lose? What does "Tell Me" mean to you? Would you say this is one of the more personal and intimate songs you've written? This track really helped me find the joy of making music and writing songs again. I've spent years trying to figure out what genre or box I fit into as an artist but creating this song showed me that none of that really matters because it's the stories that I want to tell. Writing "Tell Me" really helped me tap into a more playful side of songwriting I hadn't previously accessed, and the "Pokémon type beat" (as Shai Lu liked to call it) added a flare to this story that I normally would have taken really seriously. It all just felt right, and I think that's why I felt the need to just release it with no real plan because it felt authentic to who I am. This 2-minute song feels like a new era, and I'm rocking with it. Instagram

When you're feeling lost and not sure where to turn, head down "Peter Pan Rd" with Kalina & Kiana's newest single, now available on all digital streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Kalina & Kiana. We truly appreciate such a relatable anthem for our times like "Peter Pan Rd". What inspired you to write about the topic you did? Thank you! This song is very special to us. It’s tied to a lot of memories. If you are driving down the coast of California, from Carmel to Big Sur, there is an easy-to-miss street called Peter Pan Rd. We don’t remember why we first stopped at it, but it has become a tradition for us to stop there every time we make it up to that magical place. Peter Pan Rd dead ends at a lookout of gorgeous houses by the purple-tinted, misty ocean shore. We strongly believe this is where mermaids live. Well, if we were mermaids, we know we would live there. We always stop there for a breath-taking view, then continue on our journey down to Big Sur and soak up all of the beautiful views along the way. After our love affair with this fairytale pocket of California had begun, and prior to writing Peter Pan Rd, we found out that our grandparents on our dad’s side said that their favorite place in the world was Carmel. It’s the place they “felt most in love.” Then, we discovered that our grandparents on our mom’s side spent their honeymoon on a road trip to Big Sur, as did our own parents. The place in which we were already infatuated became even more special; it’s an infatuation that has been passed down for generations. We knew we had to write a song about it. Was it easy to be open and passionate when writing your honest lyrics in "Peter Pan Rd"? What was your experience writing this song? Kiana was inspired to write the song, and it really just wrote itself because of our love for the place and our love for our family. When it came time to name the song, the only fitting title had to be our favorite secret stop along the way: Peter Pan Rd. What was your goal regarding the listener's experience with "Peter Pan Rd"? What do you hope the single does for them? We hope that Peter Pan Rd creates a mix of nostalgia and excitement for the future by taking you back to your favorite memory or place and creating a hunger for a new adventure. With its simple lyrics, we also hope that it reminds you that there is joy in the simple things in life, like spending time in nature. We love that the chorus just says, “oh, take me back,” because anyone can sing that and attach their own meaning to it. What does "Peter Pan Rd" mean to you? How can listeners understand you and your music better through this emotional record? Peter Pan Rd means a lot to us because it is a story so dear to our hearts. It lets listeners get to know us better by learning two of our values: family and making time for adventure. We are so happy with the way that the song came out, thanks to our producer, Julian Höninger. He sprinkled his fairy dust on the song with nostalgic guitars and magical sounds. Thanks to him, you get to hear Peter Pan Rd exactly how we hear it in our heads. What's next for you? We have multiple projects in the works! Exciting things are coming... To keep up with everything we are working on, you can follow us on Instagram @kalinaandkiana. Thank you, BuzzMusic, for the interview! linktr.ee/kalinaandkiana

We're genuinely impressed with the level of success you've reached within the modern pop scene. When did your duo start out, and what has your journey been like from there? Thanks so much for having us, and thank you for taking the time to talk about Chapters. Our individual journeys started when we were about four years old. Our parents put us in piano lessons, orchestra, band, and basically any other type of musical ensemble you could think of. By the time we met in 2013, we’d both been making music our entire lives, so it’s something we both share together. I think we both see music in a very unique way. Since we were learning music at the same time we were learning a language, it is very much a part of who we are and how we communicate with others. Could you take us through the collaborative experience with your duo? How do you manage to execute an artist's ideas and visions? For us, the artist always comes first. We love sitting down with the artist, learning about them, and asking them a ton of questions, like: “what kind of music did you listen to growing up?” Or “what kind of message do you want to send to your audience? What are you going to give to people who listen to your project?” There always has to be a strong ‘why’ at the center of every artist. Every artist got into music for a specific reason, so I think between getting to the bedrock of that question and figuring out what music inspired them growing up, we have enough to really get to know what the artist is striving for creatively. After that, every tool in our toolbox is on the table to help fulfill the song. We love live strings, live instrumentation, really lush vocal production, and working with other immensely talented musicians to bring the record to its full potential. We also love nature sounds, so if you listen carefully to our productions, you can hear wind noises or rain in the background. Is there a particular song or project that you're most proud of? What was the most rewarding piece you've created or co-created? Most recently, we co-wrote and produced the song “I Hope” by Tayler Holder. It was a really personal journey for him, so figuring out how to really fuse his experiences into the sonics of the record was really tricky but also really fulfilling. We also had a song on the Euphoria S1 Soundtrack. We co-wrote and produced the song “Love Me Low” by Ai Bendr. The story behind that song is a really crazy story, actually. We met her a few years ago, and we really felt like we could elevate her project; and after about 8-10 songs, a few labels reached out. She ultimately signed with Interscope Records. The universe really works in mysterious ways because that same week, Interscope had secured the soundtrack rights to Euphoria, and the music supervisor (the amazing Jen Malone), showed our song to Hunter Schafer. The episode our song appears in was the one that Hunter Schafer wrote, and she said the song really inspired her for the last scene where she is talking to Rue. It’s really changed the way we look at music to picture and really made us realize how many stars had to align for this to happen. We’re so grateful for everyone over at Interscope Records and the entire production team and cast over at HBO and Euphoria. Another project coming out later this year is an EP with the Canadian artist Vi. She is one of the most talented artists we’ve ever worked with, and as far as writing, production, mixing, and everything else in between, we believe it to be the pinnacle of our work so far. Do you have any advice or words of wisdom for other producers wanting to reach a level of acclaim similar to yours? What is your recipe for success? Yes! A big thing we both have been working on recently is getting to know ourselves better. We both meditate a ton. We really want to discover who we are, focus on why we do what we do, and dedicate ourselves to becoming better producers, artists, and people. It may seem really tedious at first, but trust me, after a while, it pays off. It’s also allowed us to tap into the core of who we are, which I think has led to us making some of the most authentically ‘us’ records we’ve ever made before. What's next for you? We just got back from a retreat in Michigan with one of our artists Faime. We rented a cabin on the lake and locked ourselves away for a week to write his fall EP. It was really nice to shut out the whole world for a week and really dive into these songs. I think we’ve come up with some of the best records for his project yet. We keep setting the bar so high for this project, and it can definitely get stressful, but it was nice to unplug and really make music from the heart. That’s been a big component of our workflow recently, is really thinking things through carefully and making the best intentional decisions possible for the project. We’re excited for all his fans to hear this since it's definitely Faime’s most personal work yet. instagram.com/chaptersmusic
- Maybe There's Life Drops an Anthemic Track With, "Nation"
Hailing from New York City, the independent collective and hip-hop trio Maybe There's Life releases their latest empowering single entitled "Nation." Consisting of Mike, Lincoln, and producer Tobias Defoe, Maybe There's Life began their careers in 2018 at Harvard University before forming the collective a year later. Having amassed over 200k streams within their breakout year, Maybe There's Life has received vast success through opening for acts like Vic Mensa, Kiiara, and Bazzi. Now releasing their latest single, "Nation," Maybe There are Life calls upon our country to put aside our differences and reside as one nation with one statement. Throughout this punchy and anthemic track, Lincoln and Mike offer their heated and confident bars, while Tobias Defoe sweetness the sonic arrangement with tight drum breaks and intense vocal chops. "Nation" begins with incredibly intricate and unique production through chiming keyboard melodies, a tight string section, and cutting drum breaks. As Lincoln starts belting his vocals over this powerful track, Mike makes his way in and sings of seeing one nation without any sort of discriminatory divide. Mike goes into his verse with the utmost rhythm and exudes nothing but confidence as he raps about having nothing to prove. Lincoln keeps this track incredibly lively and energetic as he sings with startling power and might throughout the song's entirety. Especially on the bridge, he belts his vocals for us to feel something deep inside. Ending the song off with persistence and resilience through Lincoln and Mike's brilliant delivery and Tobias Defoe's gripping production, we can't get enough of such an exhilarating and meaningful track like this. Find Maybe There's Life's recent single "Nation" on all digital streaming platforms, and remind yourself of the needed unity our country lacks. What inspired your group to tackle our countries social and political issues for your single "Nation"? We wrote “Nation” in Harlem, NY at the height of the Black Lives Matter protests with the intention of channeling our perspectives on rising national tensions into an energizing anthem. We wanted to create a song for the movement that could both uplift and spark conversation. To us that meant finding the right balance between making a compelling statement and creating an infectious feel-good vibe. Our main direction was to tie our unique personal identities to the concept of the nation. While the stories of Mike, a first-gen immigrant from Ghana, and Lincoln, a mixed-race descendant of slaves, may not seem to represent what many consider “American”, we believe our identities reflect the spirit of our nation and the complexity of its history. What was your songwriting process like when creating "Nation"? Did each member create their bars/lyrics individually? Or was this a collective process? We took on the writing process together, and collaboration was essential to crafting the narrative of “Nation.” Lincoln and Mike each wrote their own verses and lines, but sections like the chorus, bridge, and traded verses needed joint effort and direction. The collaborative process is a fundamental part of our approach as the collective Maybe There’s Life, and it’s the only way we can blend our distinct musical and personal identities into a cohesive message and sound. That’s why our flows and messages feel so interconnected and intertwined—because they were crafted through conversation, compromise, and collaboration. Could you expand on how your group went about creating the sonics for "Nation"? Did Tobias Defoe handle this aspect of the song, and did he take on this process solo? “Nation”, like most Maybe There’s Life records, was produced by all three members of the collective. We produced the entire track in Harlem using only a laptop, MIDI keyboard, and electric guitar. By mixing classical instrumentation and vintage sampling with modern hip hop production, we created a sonic juxtaposition that felt classic and modern at the same time, with an energy and magnitude that resemble the nation itself. The sonics of the production are what gave inspiration for the song’s title and messaging. Truth be told, we saved the first version of the beat as “Nation,” before we even started writing, because the production already felt so connected to the concept of nation. Crazy, huh? What should we expect from the performance video for your single "Nation"? Do you emphasize the song's lyrical content within the video's visuals? We just released the performance video for “Nation” on January 30th. The video shows Lincoln and Mike performing the song with the kind of energy and intensity that earned them their reputation as captivating live performers on Harvard's campus. It also features the song’s lyrics as captions throughout so that viewers can connect even further with the lyricism and messaging. The video was filmed at Tobias Defoe’s apartment in Brooklyn and directed by Carla Troconis, a visual collaborator and Harvard classmate. What can we expect to see next from you? We have three full-length solo projects, Invictus by Mike, Technicolor by Tobias Defoe, and Timeless by Lincoln, that we’ll be rolling out in the coming months. Our single releases of “Road Trip” and “Nation” are the first of many that we plan to put out leading up to the full projects. You can expect a lot more music from us that continues to challenge norms and expand genres, along with visuals that reflect our music, identities, and the collective movement that is Maybe There’s Life. instagram.com/mjangles instagram.com/tobiasdefoe instagram.com/lincolnantonhart #BUZZMUSIC
- Keicon Flows Effortlessly in His Brand New Single “Runnin”
Keicon returns with a soulful single titled "Running," paired with a beautifully done music video displaying more of his visual creativity. Keicon, a contemporary and Gospel singer from Virginia, has drawn much of his musical inspiration from Mali Music, PJ Morton, and many more. Releasing his first single in 2014 and being a semi-quarter-finalist on "Season 8 of America's Got Talent," the talented Keicon aims for the stars. In 2019 he released an EP and two fresh new singles in 2022, proceeding with his latest EP, "Friday Night Before Church," picking up heavy momentum for the young legend. Bringing back the vibe from 90's R&B and soulfulness, Keicon expresses his vocal ability throughout this banger. A blast from the past, the overwhelming vibes of nostalgia, and the lyrical approach all helped this become a masterpiece! The music video visually displays the 90's aesthetic, boosting nostalgia and being a time machine for those who grew up in that era. "Runnin" opens with the classic sound, emotional piano chords, and an angelic entrance by Keicon, flowing and taking us away with his breath-taking talent. "I can't stay here; this path leads to destruction" is the opening line, putting his foot down emotionally and standing up for his well-being. So often, we get caught in a predicament of whether to stay in a toxic environment or leave and heal. Trying to escape his desires and thoughts about their love together, he still finds himself "Runnin" back to her. Painting and oh so-vivid picture of a toxic relationship, a relationship that could be the end of him if he continues down this path with her. Not being with her and the feelings he felt when alone was enough for him to change his mind. Loving unconditionally, Keicon releases a massive amount of heartache, confusion, and real love throughout this amazing record; definitely a record to be played on your Sunday mornings! Make sure to stream and support Keicon in his latest nostalgic release, "Runnin," available on all streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Keicon. We're feeling ready to take a leap of faith after listening to your new single, "Runnin". What inspired you to create such a motivational and nostalgic tune? Being a child of the 90s, I wanted to create a project that felt like the summertime while sharing a message of overcoming hardships in this journey of life and running towards the power of possibility. “Runnin” is the second record on my EP “Friday Night Before Church,” co-written with Singer / Songwriter Twylia Jackson. I wanted “Runnin” to feel good and provide a flash-back moment for my generation to remember the golden years of R&B while introducing to the next generation what R&B sounded and felt like in its golden years. Could you expand on your songwriting process for "Runnin"? Do you face any difficult moments when writing such emotional lyrics? When I write a song, I turn my voice memos on, close my eyes, feel the music, and I start humming notes and melodies. I try to feel what the song is saying. Once the song is over, I play back the voice memo and place words overtop my hummed notes, and eventually, words become lyrics. For Runnin, I immediately heard the words "I'm running back to you," and from that, I wrote from the perspective of the prodigal son. Now there are times when it can be difficult for me to be vulnerable on the track. But thankfully, with “Runnin”, I was able to tap into a more poetic, vulnerable, and reflective stance. What was your goal in terms of the listener's experience with "Runnin?" What do you hope the single does for them? Not only do I want the listeners to feel good and think back to the golden years of that R&B sound, but I also want people to receive and understand the message of overcoming and running towards a higher power. Like anything you put your mind to, you can do, and it’s never too late to turn back to Christ because he truly is the answer, and he knows what's best for us at the end of the day. We as individuals just have to make a decision to turn from the things that we know aren’t right for us personally and allow the love of christ to transform and renew our hearts and mind. Who helped create the starry music video for "Runnin?" The music video for “Runnin” was shot and directed by the great team over at Cinemabandits. Rudy And Ann really brought my vision to life. I wanted the music video to feel like it belonged in the 90s while paying homage to the way R&B music videos were shot, styled, and edited in its golden years. For inspiration, we looked at Videos from Dru Hill, Jodeci, Bobby Brown, and Boys II Men. The video took a few months of planning and about 6 hours of straight fun and nostalgia-hot filming. Looking at the final product, I am super happy that my vision came to life. We had so much fun making that video! What's next for you? I’ll be releasing a live performance of “Runnin” this week. I have two more music videos that are on the way. I’m currently in rehearsals for a virtual Concert that will be released soon. I've been in the studio working on new music all while planning and preparing for a Virtual world tour! At this point in my life and “music Career,” I’m just excited to see my vision and dreams come to pass right in front of my eyes. I'm forever humbled and honored to use my gift as a mouthpiece for a better tomorrow, hope, and love. And a huge shoutout to my team because they make sure I stay consistent in today's market. Find the music video on YouTube and the single on all digital streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Sir Christopher Saint. We can't get enough of the energy and empowering feel within your new single, "Let's Manifest." What drove you to create a vibrant song about manifesting your realities? I love being able to use music to help myself and others transform. This song is inspired by one of my idols and former boss, Paris Hilton. She inspired me so much as a kid at a time when I was afraid to be my true self. This song represents me embodying the confident and fabulous version of myself that I’ve always wanted to be. It’s about calling forth your inner superstar! What was it like creating the luxurious and stimulating music video for "Let's Manifest"? Did you have a team on board to help bring the vision to life? Yes, the video was directed by the amazing Victoria Innocenzi and shot and edited by Hunter Gulan of Glasshouse Visuals. I was the stylist, creative director, and co-director. My glam, Rya, killed it, and I loved my dancers - Britt, Annie, and Sarah - with choreography by the amazing AtomBomb. What was your favorite part about shooting the music video for "Let's Manifest"? What moments of the experience did you appreciate most? My favorite part was re-creating Paris Hilton’s iconic Carl’s Jr. commercial with hot boys and my pink Mercedes. That commercial literally changed my life, and so I am so happy I got to live out my true fantasy! Will we hear "Let's Manifest" on your upcoming album, Songs About Conor? What should listeners anticipate from the new album? Yes! “Let’s Manifest” is one of the lead singles off my new album. “Songs About Conor” is such a personal body of work. And it’s my first album! It’s been a long time coming. It’ll be about 15 songs that are so near and dear to my heart. As a queer artist of color, I love being able to share my love stories with the world, and this album is so vulnerable and raw. The album is a love letter to a spiritual experience and an amazing soul that changed my life. I am proud of how unafraid I am now as an adult to express my love to the world. Love songs and honest love stories change people. They help people heal. I will never stop singing my love songs. What's next for you? I’m manifesting a Grammy (and more) one day! I’m so excited about my debut album and to finally get to perform my songs. Instagram Artist Website

We adore the smooth and sensual sound of your atmospheric hit, "CHEATIN". What inspired this passionate and honest song? The inspiration behind "CHEATIN" is real life, I would say.. sometimes as people "In Love," we tend to hold on longer to situations that have run their course. Rather it's because of Comfort, Esteem is low, Kids, Obligation, whatever it is.. love often blinds us to reality. What was your goal regarding the listener's experience with "CHEATIN"? What do you hope this single does for them? My goal regarding listeners' experience when listening to "CHEATIN" is for them to relate to it. Sometimes things happen; we're human, and nobodies perfect. It's possible; depending on the situation & circumstance, for the temptation to creep in. So I hope this song is a reminder that it's okay not to force a situation that's over". How does "CHEATIN" contrast your previous releases? How does this song stand out for you regarding lyrics, sound, concepts, and visuals? The contrast between "CHEATIN" and my first single, "7th Drink," is the tempo & vibe to me.. "7th Drink" is a little more laid back and moody, while "CHEATIN" is a little more upbeat and catchy. The two songs actually complement each other when listened to together.. from "7th Drink" to "CHEATIN." Lyrics, Sound, and Concept are all parallel and tell the same story; that's the real stand out to me; visuals are totally different, LOL. Tell us a bit about your personal journey. How has it shaped you into the artist you are today? Personally, I've been singing with my cousins since a kid. I recorded my first song when I was 21 called "Hey Girl". In 2012 I recorded a Mixtape, and in 2014 I recorded an EP. Now I'm finally working on my Album, which I'm excited about. As far as my journey; I'm still on it, and it's still shaping my artistry. What's next for you? What's next for me? more Music, more Visuals, more Merch, Live Performances, and hopefully some Acting/Modeling of some sort. We'll see LOL. Instagram Facebook
