What is a piece of advice you would give to someone who is having difficulty starting or taking their first step in claiming their place in history? Thank You! The only piece of advice I could give is that it would hurt you more to not explore your passion than it would the world. What does Indie mean to you? Why has this genre called you? Indie to me is multiple things. It can simply be independently done, DIY, or the bedroom pop, the lofi-sounding genre it is. Personally, I think indie means putting effort into something that you're truly passionate about. I think the world understates how truly special it is for someone to try to do what mass corporations do by themselves. The indie genre called me because I really enjoy simple-sounding music. "Boots and Cats" type drum beats, simple repeating guitar, piano, and bass loops. It's all very appealing to me, you can really do anything with those given categories, and It's fun to explore. Having visited Cheyenne last week, I have a feeling that your uplifting and love-filled art is needed. What effect has your music had on your immediate community? I think it has sort of opened up the scene a little bit. There are multiple locally owned businesses that know my name, who I am, and what I do. I also believe it has helped people in the community come out of their shells and start to explore their musical passions. I think the local band "The Athletics" and I are sort of paving the way for non-country Cheyenne artists to start doing their own thing. We love your music; we also know that art has the power to inspire artists. Have you explored alternative forms of art? What is your creative process like? I have always been into doodling and drawing. I have a very specific aesthetic of art that appeals to my eye, and I love to recreate it any way I can. I've also recently been dabbling a tad in photography, and I have small dreams of being involved in videography. My friend Harrison and I have always had this little idea for a tv show/movie that we'd love to pursue someday. In terms of the creative process, I typically record everything as I write it. I find inspiration in everything, mostly other artists, as I am definitely influenced greatly by my music taste. Lyrical inspiration comes from everything in life itself. However, most of my songs are about situations with people in my life as they come and go. I find writing about situations in this way can be an amazing coping mechanism. What's next for you? "wait" will be the last album for the "nowah" project for a while. That is to say If I won't get bored in life and start another. Next, however, is the new band "Melon Dog", including me and my longtime friend Harrison Blakely. We are working on our debut MD project called "Fever", which will be dabbling in the oncoming wave of indie/emo music, so definitely keep a look out for that! As for after the release of this upcoming album, I will probably venture back into hiding to continue working on/perfecting the MD project and learn more about art and creativity as a whole. • Wyona Creates a One-of-a-Kind Soundscape, Both Beautiful and Unsettling on “Nepal”

Nepal by Wyona is an excellent single that explores the dark side of life with an unafraid and unapologetic attitude. The lyrics are fearlessly honest, and the music is atmospheric and mesmerizing. The production is top-notch, and the overall sound is unique and accessible. This is an impressive work of art, sure to garner attention from critics and fans alike. "Nepal" immediately caught my attention with its ethereal, otherworldly feel. The combination of Mariama's deep, passionate vocals with the atmospheric instrumentation creates a soundscape that is both beautiful and unsettling. The lyrics of "Nepal" deal with inner turmoil and displacement themes, which are also present throughout the single. Wyona's songs are not simply nostalgic rehashes of sounds from the past; they are fresh and modern yet still retain a timeless quality; the overall result is a single that is both haunting and hypnotic. The single opens with a delicate drum beat that is soon joined by Mariama's ethereal vocals. The lyrics of "Nepal" are both dark and personal, exploring the inner turmoil that can lead to feelings of displacement. The track's production is top-notch, with every element working together to create a sense of unease and uneasiness. The use of reverb and delay gives the impression of a vast space, which only amplifies the feelings of isolation and loneliness. "Nepal" is sure to leave a lasting impression on listeners. The band has created a one-of-a-kind sound focusing on atmosphere and emotion. The lyrics are honest and personal, exploring the dark side of life with an unafraid attitude. The production is impeccable, and the overall sound is haunting and hypnotic. I eagerly await the release of Wyona's debut album, and I have no doubt it will be an essential listen. Wyona, it’s a pleasure to welcome you to BuzzMusic. We are eager to ask a big three-part question to kick things off. What galaxies have you visited recently? What was the process by which you smuggled this track back to earth? How many did you get? Oh, thanks; I think your image of traveling towards other galaxies describes our whole project as a band very well. The day we started, we did not exactly know where we were going. The least we knew was that it's probably gonna be exciting but also a very long way. The most spectacular finding on our journey was that the way toward other galaxies does not essentially have to lead through a vacuum space. At some point, we had to overcome our fears and say, 'let's just open the door and see what is out there.' The way back was long enough to reflect on our findings and to clarify many unanswered questions by the mere power of the time we were traveling together. Where do you look for inspiration when expressing your art? I think it is mostly the ongoing search for inspiration that inspires us the most. There is no hierarchy of literature, other music, or everyday life. Of special interest to us is the confusion of these wide areas and the accidents and failures that occur by bringing them together. If you are open to these 'collisions', some lyrics or chord changes seem to just happen, and you don't even know where they came from or what exactly this will mean to you in the future. To allow these uncertainties is really one of the enchanting and challenging aspects of creating art. This question is for Kristian and Stephan. What is it like to create music with your sibling? Does it feel like an advantage or a disadvantage to be so closely involved? To get a more independent answer, you better ask our bandmates, to whom we are not related. Being so closely involved might seem a bit exclusive sometime. This is of course a real danger we have to cope with. But in the end, it feels like an advantage to me. I don't know whether you can hear it in the music, but it is really calming sometimes to work with someone you know very well – no matter if related or not. We are eagerly looking forward to your debut EP, especially on the heels of such an incredible single. What can we expect in the overall tone of the upcoming EP? We tried to keep the balance between the darker and lighter sounds. So hopefully, the EP will be like a daylong journey in 17 minutes. What's next for you? We are especially looking forward to playing our first concerts in fall 2022. Besides, we work on our next release. We heard there are a few more galaxies out there. Instagram

"Embrace all" feels flawlessly touched by an angel as it spears through our ears with soft yet unique elements to create the masterpiece it has become created by the very talented Purple Drip. Zorana, a music producer, artist, music director, and founder of Stellar Sound Foundation, started teaching music abroad, where she'd also perform at luxurious events as a pianist. Then, we pursue on as we hear how Purple Drip uses other instruments to bring a more flavourful effect to the record. And not to forget the well-structured writing and positioning of every component placed in "Embrace all." This record is a reflection of a process where she'd gone through tough times finding herself, hoping that now people can relate and hold onto records like "Embrace all." Let's get lost in the sounds of "Embrace all" by the multi-talented Purple Drip, available on all digital streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic; we appreciated every single second of your very reflective release, "Embrace all." What would you say your primary source of inspiration was when creating this personal piece? First of all, thank you for taking the time to listen to my music, as well as for allowing me to express myself. It means a lot to me to explain what's behind my music. In short, this song released me from my burdens and helped me to find new meaning in life. The inspiration for "Embrace all" is actually my state of mind at the time I was writing the song. I was partially reflecting on past events and also processing all the possibilities and the culture of the new place I've just moved to during that time. It didn't seem like a big deal, but together with COVID-19, staying in a quiet home without distractions and outside stimuli was a great time to take a break and reflect on the madness I had gone through living as a working ex-pat in different countries for five years straight. It wasn't easy to overcome and accept the struggles I was put through, but it was a good lesson to learn. This break happened exactly when I needed it because I had just moved and decided to settle in The Netherlands. The career opportunities and the life-work balance I have here is beyond anything I had ever imagined, not to mention that I have a wonderful husband and people around me. Adapting here wasn't as smooth as I imagined, but I see it as a long process worth going through. I let all of these feelings guide my creativity and imagination. One concept I came up with was that I was trying to communicate with my future self and try to predict what was waiting for me. Zorana gen IV from the year 2456 sent me an affirmative message to embrace all these feelings and do what I love, write music. Rethinking my life and revisiting my true love for creating music, I have finally allowed myself to be, feel, and create whatever comes. What impact do you hope "Embrace all" have on your audience? I hope the audience recognizes its unique and unusual elements. This song has a very atypical form. It has elements that are usually only found within prog-rock and post-rock songs. The arrangement has 60+ layers (channels), and the chords are mostly simple 4-chord progressions. Listeners categorized it as downtempo, electronic, indietronica, trip-hop, prog-rock, post-rock, chill-wave, cinematic, and dream pop, yet it doesn't fall under any of these genres' typical conventions. This makes it rich and complex but also easy to digest for a larger audience. While this song portrays a creepy and scary period in my life, it also serves as a revelation of new energy to fight and live. This is why the song starts from uncertainty, through emotional turmoil, and later turns into a hopeful song. I hope people will pick up on that energy and that it gives a message of hope for people that go through the same. What's the message you want people to take away from this single? Our passive and consumerist ways are sabotaging us, with a big role for the online world in disturbing our daily life. It is so easy to fall into the trap of depression and anxiety. As a strong believer in creativity and creative living, I think that we as a society, as well as individuals, should cherish creative problem-solving and the power of our imagination. We already have what we need. We just need a reminder to respect and use that. I also hope this song helps them embrace all the bullshit life is giving them. Nothing lasts forever, but we have the strength to overcome all this hardship if we work on it. In the end, true mastery in life is self-mastery. And don't forget to dance to it. Would you say that most of your music is rather consequential, similar to "Embrace all"? How can new listeners better understand you through this single? No, I'm still very much searching for my own style. Maybe I will never settle with one style. Each release is and will be something else. As an artist who cherishes freedom, I don't want to fall under fulfilling the expectations of the audience and the latest trends. My journey is explorative and fluid, it changes as it goes, and I will follow the adage "Everything flows" by Heraclitus. This is my way of letting myself be and feeding curiosity in the best way possible. I hope that others respect my way. What's next for you? I'm doing everything I can in my power to make more music! I've long ago decided that music is my safe space, a way to realize myself. I'll keep working on my piano skills, music production skills, video editing skills, and learning new instruments. My biggest success would be my own little music studio. Personally, I am actively posting piano covers on my YouTube channel, sometimes alternating with orchestral renditions of modern classical or minimalistic pieces. I like to do that to explore orchestration and arranging. I'm always open to collaborations, and I have a few coming up with Purple Drip. What I am particularly excited about is developing an organization I've initiated, Stellar Sound Foundation. I want to open musicians' minds to be more creative and cherish uniqueness in the music industry. At this moment, we are inspiring our audience by interviewing outstandingly unique musicians on our Stellar Sound Podcast. Finally, because of my day job as a programmer, I am very excited about learning to compose music with code. This concept falls under a new movement called "New media," and it's incredibly exciting to see what people are creating in this field today. It's a great time to be both an artist and developer today. Instagram Facebook

Let's catch a vibe with Bryson Gamble and his new single and music video for the song "Without Me" featuring Prince Smith, available for streaming on all digital platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Bryson Gamble; we admire the refreshing and playful attitude you've brought with your recent single "Without Me". So what inspired this breezy song about someone's unpredictable ways? Thank you so much for having me! And I appreciate the kind words. What inspired the song really was the idea of introducing myself and my story to the world as Bryson Gamble. Bryson Gamble is a name that was inspired by a woman who saved my life. Her name was Mildred, and she passed away in 2018. Her favorite song was The Gambler by Kenny Rogers. So, I decided to honor her life by creating this amazing breezy song, Without Me, to inspire others like her to continue to chase their ambitions and dreams. This has been her main mission since birth, and I plan on continuing the work. What was the most rewarding part of creating "Without Me?" What did you appreciate most about the experience? The most rewarding part about creating “Without Me” was knowing that this song could inspire people. I feel like everybody at some point in their lives feels like they’re being overlooked and slept on, so it felt good to know that maybe this could be the song somebody can listen to when they want to feel motivated and prove people wrong. What I appreciated the most about the experience was how fast the song came together. Sometimes when I collaborate with other artists, it could take months for the song to come together, but I’ve known Prince Smith for a very long time, and we have great chemistry, so once I finished my verses, I knew right away that he belonged on the song and he really did his thing. How did you want the production and sonics in "Without Me" to make listeners feel? What were your goals for the overall atmosphere of the record? So, I found the beat one night just by going through the internet. I stumbled across a producer from the Netherlands who goes by “Sayonara.” As soon as I heard the beat, I knew this was going to be a song that was going to allow me to tell my story but also use it to motivate the listener. I wanted the listeners to feel empowered by my story. My story has a ton of layers to it, but there’s always one theme that stays true to my ability to uplift a community. The goal of this record was to bring people with similar stories into my community. Did you have any musical influences when creating "Without Me?" Do you want listeners to be reminded of other artists when listening to "Without Me?" To be honest, I can’t really remember who I was listening to at the time. I listen to a lot of music, hahaha. But artists like Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Drake, and Lil Wayne are the ones who really inspire me every day, so I’m sure they played a part in the creation of this song! I do want people to be reminded of my inspirations, but I want them to feel comfortable associating me with those inspirations. This means that I want to have my own sound that differentiates me from them, but it puts me in the same direction career-wise as my inspiration. What's next for you? I’m actually getting ready to drop another single very soon. It’s going to MOVE a new potential audience. I’m really excited for everybody to hear this next song I got lined up. It’s actually going to sound pretty different compared to “Without Me”, but the message is still going to be the same, which is to inspire and motivate. Instagram Facebook

  • Southern Cali’s Very Own Prada-G Has Us in Our Feels With His New Emotional Banger, “Distractions”

Prada-G brings the best out of his creative self and releases another emotional piece, "Distractions," made from the soul and heart of the talent. Based in Southern California, Prada-G exemplifies anti-establishment and/or rule books that barrier creative freedom. Instead, he creates as freely as his soul desires, maximizing his charismatic, infectious voice that resonates throughout each song bleeding various influences. Prada-G's garnered some notable recognition from his genre-blending 2021 project "Nocturnal," including guest appearances from BRYOZA, ericadoa, and LiL Lotus. Prada-G's lyrical ability is shown throughout this record, expressing his heart's deepest feelings over a very uptempo and excellent production, making it entertaining, blending genres and sounds. "Distractions" opens up with Prada-G and his heartfelt vocals lighting the way for the record. He completely engulfs us with a wave of emotions, making us feel exactly how he felt, adding to the emotional experience. This record blows you away with its progressive and catchy instrumental/production supporting his heartfelt lyrics with ease, helping Prada-G beautifully bring his message across. "Distractions" show Prada-G's vulnerability and openness with his art and craft, giving his music an extra topping for listeners to enjoy. When artists are vulnerable, they're honest, and that's all we want for and from artists to give us their all; many rely on artists like Prada-G to speak his mind because it may provide some comfort to those going through similar struggles. Make sure to support the young talented and inspiring, Prada-G with his epic latest release, "Distractions," available on all streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Prada-G. We feel that emotion and strife you've put into your latest EP release, 'Digital Vampire,' along with the standout track “Distractions”. What inspired this vulnerable and heartfelt piece? Truthfully, I wouldn’t consider “Distractions” to be one of my most vulnerable lyrically. However, in a simple fashion, it’s sort of a momentary reflection of how I was feeling at that exact place and time. What was your songwriting process like for "Distractions?" Would you say it was somewhat cathartic, considering your performance is so passionate and eager? I actually didn’t write prior to recording. I was on a creative getaway somewhere in San Diego, and I just wanted to be as free as possible throughout my time. I did have a melody set in place, but once I hit record, I allowed every emotion I was feeling to determine what was said. So essentially, the entire song was freestyled. How does "Distractions" contrast your previous releases? How does this song stand out regarding lyricism, sound, and concepts? Well, I would say the EP as a whole is definitely an evolution from my previous project, “Nocturnal”. I’ve allowed certain aspects of my music to breathe, which has been a great introduction to where I’ll be headed musically and creatively moving forward. What does "Distractions" mean to you? What's the message you want people to take away from you? My message is fairly simple, life comes with many unpredictable moments that are out of your control. It’s okay not to blame yourself during those times and come to the realization that the world, not only yourself, falls to the distractions surrounding you as it’s only natural when you’re human. • Salwa Lays It All on the Line in Her Serene Single, “Better Place”

Salwa brings us peace and contentment as she sings in her recent "Better Place" record with emotion and strife. Salwa, a Lebanese-Canadian artist based in Ottawa, Canada, writes, arranges, produces, and records her music. Her journey started when she was only seven years old; she began playing the piano, alternately leading her to the beginning of her classical training. She had continued throughout the years and now plays piano as her first nature. Salwa aims to create a safe space while being experimental and more alternative. For Salwa, it appears she finds great purpose in creating music and performing it for the world to hear, while she believes that "good music is human connection in the purest most uninterrupted form." We hear Salwa's euphonious voice breathe through the speakers as we soak up all her feelings in the record "Better Place." As the instrumental combines with her vocal writing style, we are sure to experience a new fondness for Salwa and her talents. As we embark on a "Better Place," Salwa glides in with smooth, soft chords as her voice enters breathily. She seems to question her journey in life as she feels she's always been moving around and experiencing hardships with the people she meets. However, we immediately think that her passion for her lyrics comes truly from experiencing it and living through that current moment. As Salwa embraces her ways, she sings, "We might still be far away, and maybe going the wrong way, but I'll still find us a better place; that's all that matters anyway." Journeying on, Salwa introduces slight drums to distinguish the song's structure; she allows the instrumental in having its moment while the birds chirp as we drift away with our thoughts. And as soon as her vocals enter, it's like the voice of an angel awakens us as she tells us how she sometimes doubts that she can accomplish her expectations, but all she's doing is trying to find her place in this world, a feeling I'm sure we can all relate to. Salwa pushes the boundaries with her vocals and the extra elements she added to differentiate the first verse from the second and the outro. Then, finally, she softly exits while the instrumental shakes us out of our seats, precisely how we wished it would do. Feel through the motions with Salwa as she free's her mind in her emotional single "Better Off," now available on all digital streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic Salwa! We appreciated every second of your reflective and emotional new single, "Better Place" What was the primary source of the inspiration behind this personal piece? Thank you! The initial motivator behind Better Place was the idea that I'd already written way too many sad songs and needed to write at least one hopeful song to get myself out of my beginner songwriter phase, so I wrote a song about emotional healing. More seriously, though, the song is a reflection of my personal healing process, which I hope might be relatable to some. It's the idea of shifting from one mentality to another. So, whenever I notice that I really need to shift to a better mental space, I'll look for ways to improve my perspective on life. Then when that would get too uncomfortable, I'd move towards what feels like a more comfortable but less healthy perspective. The cycle would continue, sometimes ending up worse than where you started, except you would eventually get better at finding your "better places." The point is that the process is treacherous, and there isn't an actual final destination, but it's the constant experiencing and learning that'll be rewarding in the end. In the song, I made that parallel with a nomad group that's constantly trying to find a better place to meet their needs but never settles. I personally like to imagine it in a desert setting. What was the most challenging part about creating a simple piece like "Better Place?" Did you face any personal or physical challenges? The lyrics and melodies were edited a whole lot, and I remember that chorus melody taking me really long to come up with. But the most challenging part by far was the production and audio engineering aspects. It's my first ever release, so it's also my first time producing and mixing a song that I made. The main reason it was difficult was that I was in charge of it all, so I kept switching between my creative mode and my editing mode. I find it important not to mix those two too much, especially when creating, but that proved to be a challenge for me. The lines were constantly blurred. I did love having full control over the song, though. What was your goal regarding the listener's experience with "Better Place?" What do you hope the single does for them? At least, I hope that people feel something when they listen to it. At most, I hope people experience a personal connection with it. That's all I'm trying to do. I just want to connect with people emotionally. It just so happens to be through music for me. With this song specifically, I want it to spark some hope for people who are experiencing something that feels impossible to move past. Did you work entirely solo when creating the production and instrumentals for "Better Place?" What was that process like? The entire process of making and releasing the song, with the exception of mastering, was done by me. It was surprisingly more difficult than I expected… I had no idea how much goes behind one song. But mainly, I didn't realize I would lose my sense of objectivity for the song that quickly. It's probably because I was working on it continuously for way too long, so at that point, it was challenging to step outside of my perception and biases to figure out what the song might be missing or if something sounds bad. It's kind of like how you can't describe the scent of your own house because you never get a long enough break from it. You'd need someone else to do that for you. What's next for you? I'm planning to release another single before 2023, hopefully in November. I'm also working on an EP that's gonna be out next year! In the meantime, I'll be trying to find some performance opportunities in Ottawa. SO STAY TUNED!! Instagram TikTok

We truly appreciate the relatable and uplifting vibes within your two recent hits, "Pretty Wings (Live 2022 Remastered)" and "Inflicted by Dedication (Remastered)." When did you begin writing and creating these songs? The process started 3 years ago when I got struck with ideas and inspirations, then developed the lyrics first (sometimes it depends on my creativity, I built all words first, then match them with melodies and chords). After those had been structured, I proceeded to materialize them as songs. Initially, I wanted to produce romantic and loving theme songs, but I ditched the idea after consideration. What inspired the creation of "Pretty Wings (Live 2022 Remastered)?" What was the central message you wanted to get across? I was inspired by my former self in the past as well as someone who I loved that possessed many flaws and insecurities, how they tried to cope and struggle with it, and how they finally conquered their negativities and obstacles themselves. The song is a reminder for me and all of us to think positive, get inspired much, and be light around us. What was the main source of inspiration behind "Inflicted by Dedication (Remastered)?" What was your goal with this particular piece? Pretty much the same as Pretty Wings, the song itself is very special and has been inspiring me a lot to pursue happiness since I myself haven't been feeling it for a long time. With the catchy and energetic vibe, I really look forward to gaining positive feedback from the audience and critics. Have you noticed any similarities between "Pretty Wings (Live 2022 Remastered)" and "Inflicted by Dedication (Remastered)?" What common themes do these two songs share? Yes, I have; those songs were crafted during the lowest point of my life back then, and how those songs shape me and transform me into someone who I live for today. Both songs represent the courage and spirit we need to have to feel alive. I will never forget the meaning and impact of those two songs in my life. What's next for you? I look forward to building a substantial music career to reach more listeners as well as keep writing good materials and delivering them to a wide audience. Instagram
