- Hyperspace Brings The Energy With Their Lively New Single, "Barbara Gordon"
Craving and striving for greatness, the band began their musical journey back in September of 2011, naming themselves "Hyperspace." Their latest 2022 release, "Barbara Gordon," gives us a taste of the versatile musical palette that the collective can provide. In addition to the single (song) release, Hyperspace has released an art out of their new music video for the record. The video consists of a young kid watching "Barbara Gordon" on TV and watching her 'kick ass'. The video is a perfect visual representation of the track; with all its fun elements in the production, you can't help but enjoy the crazy visuals paired with it. The overall sonics by Hyperspace combines hypnotic and energetic production and perfect storytelling to drive this record home. The impact has us dancing, like a kid in a room whose imagination runs wild 24/7—taking us back to our younger days as a youth watching our favorite characters on TV 'kick ass'. The record opens up with electrifying guitar instrumental and drum performance, setting the tone before the vocals begin, giving us such a punk-ish, Avril Lavigne-styled record, keeping things fun and courageous. It sounds like the very popular style of 2000s music and its funkiness and indie-feeling to the melodies and storytelling. "Barbara Gordon" sounds like a superhero record that plays as they show off some legendary action. For most listeners, this record will be a blast from the past and a style of music we could never forget. Hyperspace delivers the most exciting and rejuvenating record with a thrilling music video to top off the viewer experience. hyperspaceband.com

- KAIS New Single “Hot Air Balloon,” Is Soaring To The Top
KAIS is a talented singer-songwriter with a unique vision. His music is atmospheric and evocative, and "Hot Air Balloon" is a perfect example of his artistry. This is a song that will stay with you long after you've heard it, and we highly recommend checking out KAIS's music if you're looking for something different and special. "Hot Air Balloon" is an indie-psych-soul-infused blues-rock song that explores the complexities of the human condition. The song is marked by its exploration of the metaphysical and its strive to find a balance between natural inclinations and the demands of late-stage capitalism. The song is a tour de force of blues-rock that will get your feet tapping and head nodding along with the beat. The song is built on a foundation of finger-picked acoustic guitar and minimal percussion, with KAIS's reverb-drenched vocals floating above the mix. The lyrics of "Hot Air Balloon" are introspective and thought-provoking, and the overall effect is haunting and beautiful. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Kais. Congratulations on releasing "Hot Air Balloon." What inspired this deeply emotional piece? The thought that my partner at the time may have been on the cusp of pregnancy, and felt simultaneously a momentary excitement around that possibility as well as an unshakeable fear of it being the wrong decision. Because although this was someone I really loved, I knew that people around me might have never accepted their values and beliefs (everyone is brought up with values and beliefs which could sometimes be highly opposing and very hard to intermix). I use the song as an iteration of all relationships moving forward, and I speak on behalf of most people in my writing, as everyone is, to various degrees, aware that there are always disapprovers out there who have a strong influence on your decisions, given collective society’s vested interests in how one thinks and acts. How can new listeners better understand you through this single? What do you feel your experiences have brought to this song? This song paints the analogy of a Hot Air Balloon as it relates to pregnancy, resembling the growth of a woman’s tummy to the inflation of a Hot Air Balloon. As pregnancy moves along and the process reveals itself, where a spirit permeates the boundless world, a Hot Air Balloon grows and rises into the ether (where our thoughts drift and amalgamate) in about the same way. For your listeners who want to experience this song through your eyes, in what scene would you place them for the first time listening to Hot Air Balloon? It’s up to each and every listener’s imagination. But my vantage point for this song is from outer space somewhere. What's next for you? I’ve released an EP for Hot Air Balloon this summer, and I’ll be revealing another more atmospheric, more melancholic EP later this year, sometimes closer to winter. Instagram Facebook
- Wera Stasiak Is Back With A New Song, "Watch Me"
Berlin-based artist Wera Stasiak's music belongs to the world of pop but is nothing short of influences from other genres such as RnB, Jazz, Electropop, and Dance. The Polish-born singer Amy Winehouse has always been a significant figure within the industry. However, her current idol Charlotte Cardin is what drove Wera to make music in the first place. In her songs, the singer/songwriter writes about past and present experiences, which she describes as "polarising." The lyrics are bold, and the sound is a fusion of emotions. In May 2021, she entered the industry with the release of her first single, "Anywhere", followed by "California Daddy" later the same year. Wera's next release, "Watch Me", a song about the relationship of desire and lust, is coming up in July and sets the tone for her debut EP release planned for 2023. "Watch Me" is a song about lust, passion, and denial. It is sensual connectivity and desire between two people—a build-up of emotions and a passion cluster with no space for relief. But, while your crush denies the lust, you are confident that you're all they want. We're into something good. With Wera Stasiak's latest release, "Watch Me", we're definitely into something good. The song is a catchy, sensual, and emotional rollercoaster that takes the listener on a journey of desire, passion, and self-confidence. If this is what we can expect from her debut EP, we're looking forward to it. Tell us about the inspiration behind your new song, "Watch Me" It was one of those summer fever’s that I found myself catching…haha. I got into a situationship with a guy who was really lost and kept on sending mixed signals and then denied whatever signals he was sending. I would say "Watch Me” was written as a comment on his actions and inability to stay true to himself. But it's also a form of sexual teasing in which I'm confident I'm all he wants, but he's just afraid to have. I’m telling a story from the perspective of a girl who knows well that she is secretly desired, and she chooses to enjoy it. Meanwhile, her crush sinks deep in denial and observes her from behind the curtain. What does the song mean to you? I’ve been in similar situations before, and I’d always end up getting hurt. So I wrote "Watch Me” to embrace myself to not treat it too seriously. All my previous releases, such as "Anywhere" or "California Daddy," were written from the place of a "sad girl" who is really suffering inside. This time I'm actually a bit amused by the actions of my crush. By writing "Watch Me," I'm basically telling myself I'm cool with everything he does because I'm cool with myself in the first place. It's about self-worth and confidence. Following the mindset that I do not need to impress anyone except for myself. What was the recording process like for this song? It went actually smooth. I wrote the first draft of the lyrics in an hour or so...It was also the first time that I’ve had a writing session with a super young and extremely talented producer from Berlin - Adam Le Hamel. We've been hanging out in his self-made home studio when out of the blue, Adam came up with this little melody line that somewhat resembled the Middle Eastern scales and harmonies. We pitched it up, looped it, and then worked around the track, building a proper chord progression, etc. I loved how natural the process of writing with Adam was. We just clicked and drew so much inspiration from one another. I'm truly excited to continue working with Adam on the upcoming projects. What do you hope listeners take away from "Watch Me?" I feel like "Watch Me" is such a universal song. On one hand, I think lots of people out there have been through similar complicated love stories, or should I say "flings". Emotions can be a real deal to cope with, and it's important to always find your center. For me, it's when I write that I feel most grounded. I believe for someone else, it can be listening to a song that feels so relatable, just to know they are not alone. On the other hand, the intent of "Watch Me" is not to make us all cry together about life and relationships. It's more of a "chin up, chest out" kind of song. I want every listener to feel sexy, confident, and desired. In the end, we all have our secret admirers, so why not let them watch how we thrive. What's next for you? Together with Adam Le Hamel, we are currently working on the songs for my first EP. I'm super excited as I'll finally be able to tell a story that's been sitting in the farthest, isolated corner of my heart. The past years have been quite an emotional journey for me, and I'd love to finally put it down in words and notes. Instagram TikTok Spotify
- Vanity Wyze & Sonny King “Stayed Down,” To Come Up
Whenever rapper and recording artist Vanity Wyze pairs with producer and recording artist Sonny King, we know we're in for a treat. The boys are back and better than ever with their latest inspirational single and music video, "Stayed Down." Vanity Wyze made a name for himself in our cut-throat industry by molding his approach to rap based on the unique stylings of the North and South. He currently works full-time side-by-side with legendary Sonny King at Musicbykinginc and Music for Love International charity and record label. The pair's previous single, "I Won't Miss," was a featured track on NBA 2K and was the chosen song for James Harden's 2021 highlight reel. Their newest heavy-hitter, "Stayed Down," was featured on the soundtrack to Lizzo's hit TV show, Watch Out for the Big Grrrls, featuring other powerhouse acts like Cardi B, Missy Elliott, Latto, DJ Khaled, DMX, Mariah Carey, and more. "Stayed Down" is an inspirational, feel-good hit that kicks off with the smoothest hip-hop production and sweet guitar samples, leading us to the punchy verse. Sonny King's melodic and exciting vocals pump through our speakers with confidence and optimism, encouraging us to continue to grind and reach our desires no matter what it takes. Sonny King's smooth vocals and toe-tapping production paired with Vanity Wyze's charismatic bars and attention-commanding performance is a recipe for success, and this track is no exception. Allow Vanity Wyze and Sonny King to help you reach your goals and desires with their motivational new single, "Stayed Down," now available on all digital streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Vanity Wyze. We can't get enough of the catchy melodies and exciting bars within your new single with Sonny King, "Stayed Down." What inspired you two to create this motivational track? My producer Sonny King emailed me the beat and the hook. I put my headphones on and began to write. I felt it needed a quicker flow to contrast the melody of the hook. The quicker flow also allowed me the opportunity to implement more lyrics in the verse. My lyrics were inspired by the times in the past I was down and didn't have much and the possibility of what I could bring to fruition. I wanted to relate to people with similar origins. So not only was I inspired by the hook which guided my lyrics. I wanted to talk about the success I plan to achieve. What's a day in the studio like for you and Sonny King? What was that behind-the-scenes process like when creating "Stayed Down"? A day in the studio is never exactly the same, but we do have a format. I tend to come to the studio prepared for the song on schedule. We usually chop it up about goals and updates with the music. Oh, yeah a glass of water, no ice to protect my voice, lol. Then we proceed to complete masterpieces. The actual session was exhilarating. It was different because the flow was different from usual, but it was necessary to capture the details. What was it like creating the picturesque music video for "Stayed Down"? Did you have any directors, producers, or videographers help execute your vision? It was a motion picture. Shout to my videographer Trey McKee, Music for Love, and My producer for helping bring the visuals to life. It was a great experience. We scoped out the city for the best shots then we executed. Even though I'm from Greensboro the team and I wanted to bring visuals of the different areas of North Carolina to light. What would be better than Charlotte, where the Hornets and Panthers play? The Polaris Slingshot was perfect to explore the city. The Melo Ball Jersey also represents my long relationship with basketball. "I been hooping since a youngin' " If listeners could take away one thing from "Stayed Down," what would you want that to be? Well, I actually have three takeaways: Pay all success forward, Lose the ego, and Never give up! I want to give a personal thank you to all the love and support from my team and the music lovers. I'm truly honored and grateful for NBA2k and Brooklyn Nets for featuring my song "I Won't Miss". Also recently, "Stayed Down" starred in Lizzo's hit show Watch Out For The Big Grrrls. This goes to show how a kid struggling to find his way in the jungle of life can turn mud into marble. Instagram Facebook
- Tuesday Atlas Takes Us To The Woods In "Silent Trees Loudly"
Kicking off some new releases in 2022 from Indiana-based band Tuesday Atlas, "Silent Trees" is their newest and highly energetic rock single. The group that was born from the bedroom acoustic project of Dakota Boggs consists of himself, Sisco, Easton Hawk, and Skyler Newsome. This joining of these musicians resulted Tuesday Atlas, a dynamic band that releases music everywhere from rock to acoustic. "Silent Trees Loudly" is Tuesday Atlas's latest release, this one full of fast-tempos, lively guitar, and high-powered vocals. Alternative rock track "Silent Trees Loudly" begins with an easygoing guitar and spirited drums, setting the scene for what kind of song this will be. Vocals come in with a passion, along with otherworldly melodies. Dakota Boggs' vocals perfectly match the enthusiasm brought forth by the band's instrumentation, with gritty tones and fiery delivery. The chorus' of "Silent Trees Loudly" is percussion-heavy, stripped down to a steady beat that accompanies the expressive lyrics. Zestful guitar riffs connect the verses and keep engagement levels high throughout the song. After progressing through "Silent Trees Loudly" and enjoying all the strong-willed and fearless instrumentation, Tuesday Atlas offers, the song ends with a long head-banging outro. There is no lack of boldness at the end of the song, much like "Silent Trees Loudly" started off, diving right into the beat. "Silent Trees Loudly" is one of those songs that would get the blood pumping in every audience member at a live show, so go check it out now on all streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic Tuesday Atlas. We're so pleased to have you with us. We love your new song, "Silent Trees Loudly" What makes this record unique from your previous records and your approach to them? "Silent Trees Loudly" is a track that has been with us for quite some time and is one of our favorites. Dakota wrote this song over three years ago, and we'd rewritten it and rearranged it several times by the time we headed into the studio to lay down the permanent tracks, so our ideas for it were much more fleshed out than what we had going into recording 2019's "Hell Has a Sound." For that release, we just had Dakota's vocals and acoustic tracks, and the rest of us wrote our parts on our respective tracking days, compared to this release and all of our upcoming June and July releases, where we all wrote our parts together. In many ways, "Silent Trees Loudly" and all of our upcoming music are much more representative of who we are as a group than anything we've done prior! What were the main pointers in the concept and creation of "Silent Trees Loudly" that you'd like to highlight for the readers? "Silent Trees Loudly" and its counterpart, "Kraken," are both parts of a collection of songs we're releasing this summer called "The Stone Tape." We've said before that these songs are a kind of love letter to the last two years of missed opportunities, illness, struggle, and heartbreak that many people went through, so there is a lot of anger and ferocity in some of these songs that weren't there in any previous release. But, ultimately, "Silent Trees Loudly" is a track that encompasses self-destruction and self-doubt, both of which can begin hurting those around you, especially in times of struggle. Your vocal delivery on "Silent Trees Loudly" is phenomenal. How do you stay in shape vocally, and what advice would you give to someone trying to better express themselves vocally? Dakota spends a lot of time commuting to and from his day job, and during those drives, he tends to do vocal exercises and warm-ups. Breathing techniques akin to meditation have also made a big impact on his delivery by allowing him to control his diaphragm much more acutely. The most important thing for a vocalist to do (in our opinion) is to control the push of air out of the lungs with precision and force, on top of the need to enunciate the lyrics. As for his yelling and screaming, we tend to wonder how he does that without destroying his voice ourselves! As a band on the rise, what would you say was your most difficult challenge faced as a group, whether it be performing, creating, or just as a collective? Our most challenging task as a group has been building our confidence. At least three of us have struggled with anxiety and depression in our lives, and simply having the confidence to make and release our music, let alone step on stage and play it, has been a challenge in the past. First, you tend to wonder whether or not the art you're making is worth consuming, and then you start to wonder whether it's worth making! However, somebody somewhere absolutely wants to buy what you're selling, and the internet makes distributing your content easier than ever. Building an online presence with engaged followers is a whole other beast, though, and that's something we are still trying to improve daily. There are so many tools available for artists that it can be daunting to take the first steps. What's next for you? Over the next month or so, we will also be releasing several lyric videos, several live sessions, and playing Middle Waves Music Festival here in Fort Wayne. We've got a very busy month ahead of us, and once July is over, it's back to the studio to record our follow-up! Instagram Facebook
- Spotlight: Contemporary-Pop Intoner Maria Alexa Creates A Dynamic Experience
Maria Alexa is a Contemporary-Pop intoner from New York City with a unique, New-wave sound. With minimal rise and fall of the pitch, her steadfast vocals add texture to the soundscape. With a monotone lead vocal, Maria Alexa ensures that her music maintains its depth with echoing reverbs and enticing harmonies. A rumbling drum line and unique cascades of a piano provide the dynamic experience that some intoners miss. As a songwriter, she is sure not to force anything during her creative process. Maria Alexa only writes her songs when ideas flow to her naturally - and she generally gets it all down quickly. Inspired by her current mood and emotional state, her music is an eloquent mosaic of her intrinsic desires. She knows that nobody’s life stories are the same but aims to relate to a universal audience through music. - Maria Alexa, the New-York Contemporary-Pop Intoner Releases New Hit "Sunshine"
Maria Alexa, the New York Contemporary-Pop Intoner established her reign over Melodic orchestrations and infatuating song-writing through her exposure to Contemporary and Pop Music she experienced as a child. Maria Alexa endeavors to recreate the same wonder-inducing sentiments for her audience that Music once gave to her at a young age. With a substantial support team featuring notary Producer Gamal Abdu and the troupe at NOISE, Maria Alexa shoots for the stars with her single titled "Sunshine"—the first cut off her anticipated Debut EP coming later this Fall. Maria Alexa's new single, "Sunshine," glows brilliantly over a prismatic panorama of echoing reverbs and cascading harmonies that Maria Alexa creates through the infatuating textures appended via her vocals. As the Pop mix's ambient spaces open over a punchy time-keeper in the form of a kick-drum, we tread buoyantly through the liquid panoramas of Maria Alexa's festooned introduction. As we simmer over the slowly enveloping sonic steam that supercharges the air around us, Maria Alexa belts out a playful hymn before the chorus breaks down into an empyreal fantasia that features oscillating samples and effervescent pads that model after the timeless touchstones of New-wave Pop. Here, in our New-York intoner's fleshy hook portion, the beat's cadence develops into a low-rumbling bouncy stratagem through a fluctuating bass-line and muted piano fingerings that manage to highlight the budding chanteuse's top-line hook tenfold. It's an experience that feels like jumping from a sauna to an ice-cold pool in the way Maria Alexa holds complete control over goose-bump-provoking sensations. Listen to "Sunshine" here. Hello Maria Alexa, and a warm welcome back to BuzzMusic. Can you describe to us some of the sentiments you're feeling now that your audience has had their first taste of what's to come off your Debut E.P. set to drop this Fall? I honestly don’t even have the words, as cliché as it sounds, the fact that my music is finally out in the world and in people’s ears does not feel real at all. The love, support, and positive feedback I’ve received in the past 24 hours since it’s release have been very overwhelming. I’m extremely grateful. With that said though, this is only the beginning. I’ve been dreaming of this moment since I was four years old––it’s truly been a long time coming. I’ve never felt closer or passionate about anything else in my life other than music so this release is very special to me. What was the narrative behind "Sunshine," and did you draw inspiration for its storytelling cohesiveness through your own personal experiences? The lyrics and melodies from sunshine poured out of me one random night. There are days I feel super inspired and days that are the complete opposite. This night though, back in February, to be exact, I was alone in my room, feeling super happy and emotional. I had a pretty melody stuck in my head, the first line, “I wish that you could spend the night, put down your phone and lay next to me, next to me.” I took out my voice note, as always, and started to freestyle. It was the first time in my life I freestyled an entire verse, pre-chorus, and chorus in one sitting [I still have this voice note]. I think that’s what also makes sunshine so special. It’s not only my official debut in music, but it was truly the song that came the most naturally to me and something I actually really liked. There have been tweaks since [ thanks to my incredible producer Gamal Abu and my very talented vocal coach Laci Mercede!], and they ended up coming together. It was a magical experience. In regards to this song coming to me through personal experience, yes, definitely. I’m a VERY emotional human being. I feel things 50 times more than the average human (at least that’s how I feel, lol), and I wouldn't trade that for the world. Currently, I’m in a very loving relationship with myself and my partner, which has made it that much easier to write a love song like sunshine. I think a lot of people can relate to that. What stands out as the most significant learning experience for you as an artist during your Debut EP's writing and recording process? I would say realizing everything happens for a reason and with time. I’m generally a patient person, but when it came to releasing something that took literally 7 months, it was hard. Especially since I’ve been working on my craft and my artist vision for a couple of years on top of that. I’ve been through a lot of shit, let’s just say, particularly during my early childhood. Those experiences, good and bad, have really shaped me into the person I am today. Taking these hardships, heartbreaks, but also accomplishments and putting them to paper, into production, and finally into a masterpiece has been extraordinary. I will never get over the feeling of recording vocals and turning them into this masterpiece, which then eventually becomes a piece of me and, hopefully, to someone else. If you could give your audience a few words that would act as a prologue to the sonic experience you aspire to present in your new upcoming music, what would you say and why? I want my upcoming project to be a different experience for everyone because no one’s life story is the exact same, but through music, we can relate, we can love, can cry, etc. These next few songs will be a sneak peek into my soul, very raw, very emotional [did I mention VERY emotional] but also fun! It’s my journey of all different kinds of love in various stages, put into a myriad of genres, yet still tie together very nicely. All and all, and I will continue to say this, I just hope people, even if it’s one person, can relate to my songs somehow. I want my audience to feel connected to me because at the end of the day, I’m making this for myself and them, and as my own personal “therapy” because everyone should go to therapy, lol. But, MORE importantly, to be there for someone who had a bad day or a really good day–– like today. NOW go stream my song and tell all of your friends! instagram.com/thisismauria

Algorand is one of the only blockchains that claims to be a carbon-negative network and the greenest blockchain. Alongside the "Green" blockchain, Herb will also plant a tree for each NFT he sells. He opened up about how NFTs aren't usually environmentally friendly, "but with Limewire being on the Algorand Network, which is Net-Carbon Zero, and adding my tree planting initiative, this launch was the perfect way for me to enter the web3 space," he explained. About his partnership with Limewire, Herb says it's an "amazing opportunity," adding that he "used their original platform to fall in love with music and now being featured as one of their first five emerging artists is an incredible honor." For more information or to purchase one of Samuel Herb's exclusive NFTs in partnership with Limewire, click here. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Samuel Herb. Congratulations on announcing your new partnership with Limewire! How did this partnership begin? When did you first start working with Limewire? Thank you! I am super excited to be working with Limewire on an NFT project to bring an exclusive song into the world! Our partnership came about because I was kicking around the idea of creating an NFT, and in March, I found that Limewire was coming back. I INSTANTLY applied to be a creator, joined their Discord channel, and started to become active in their online community. A few weeks later, I received an Instagram DM from their head of artist acquisition. One Zoom call later, and I was STOKED to be a Limewire emerging artist! Could you tell us about your chosen graphics and designs for your exclusive NFTs? Is there a particular theme within these designs? My digital collectible features a photo of me shot by Annelise Loughead and was designed and animated by Phuoc Huynh. This was originally shot to just be the cover art for a future single called "Paper Thin Walls"; it was the perfect art to intrigue people. Each NFT purchase unlocks an Exclusive Song, a full preview of "Paper Thin Walls", access to one of my shows per year, and access to a Discord channel with announcements and songs before everyone else hears them! The art is just a way to draw people in and excite them about what they are about to unlock! Why did you want to take your green initiatives one step further and pledge to plant a tree with each NFT purchase? Are you always so passionate about staying green? I've always loved trees! I started my tree planting initiative in 2020 and have planted over 750 trees with OneTreePlanted since then! I know that NFTs, streaming, and even touring have a huge impact on the environment, and I wanted to do something to help balance my footprint. When Limewire announced they are on the Algorand network, I was all in. Algorand has pledged to be net-carbon ZERO, and that meant the world to me. More trees for the world is always a good thing in my book! Is launching an NFT collection something you've considered in the past? Why did you choose to launch one alongside Limewire? I've been considering it, but there hasn't ever been a way to do it net-carbon zero. Limewire was the best option and to be associated with their name is amazing. What's next for you? I am finishing up my first ever full-length album called "Copper Sunshine"! We are finishing up the last few touches on all 11 songs and then going out on tour! Currently, I have 10 road dates set for this fall, and the list is growing! Hopefully, some of BuzzMusic fam can make it out when I come to their city! There isn't a set date for the album release, but I can promise it is going to be the best representation of who I am right now, and I am excited to show the world who that is! instagram.com/samuelherbmusic
- Emilio Hinojosa’s Speaks On What Would've Happened "if you have stayed"
Emilio, originally from Texas, takes us on his journey as he talks about experiences in his life and emotional changes with his new hit single, "if you had stayed." Emilio spends his life in the border towns of Mexico and the US; constantly living in diverse cultures, his music seems to portray those elements. His creativity sparked when he was 13, and he immediately entered a choir to assist in vocal lessons and stamina when singing. During those times, he found his passion for singing and performing. In addition, Emilio uses his spare time to practice his writing, where he writes poetry, rhyme schemes, and lyrics. This emotional ballad and beat bring a mellow yet strong feeling to the record. His depth allows us to feel through the song and relate to the lyrics, and Emilio continues harmonically throughout the record. He shared moments when he was hurt and mentioned experiences that most of us are well aware of. "if you had stayed" is an experience Emilio brings and a standard set for all future recordings. Emilio leads with sentimental nature and flows with the most beautiful piano chords, perfectly crafted for his voice. Hence, the longing emotion he feels as he describes how the relationship used to be and how it has changed, not only for them but for him as an individual. Emelio's soft heart makes it hard to believe someone would hurt him, but as he continues to sing, we can hear how he felt in those moments. As the violins enter and he speaks about how he remembers her and the great times they used to have, the sadness pool's through as his vocals remind us of our emotional journeys past or current. Emilio tells us that moving on is so hard; he wishes she stayed in lyrics like "If you had stayed with me." His voluminous, eccentric vocals make us realize that what we want from music is feeling, and "if you had stayed" has brought us that. We notice how well functioning this record is and how Emilio brings it to life in his unique way. Let's wrap up Emilio's emotional song, "if you had stayed." Available on all digital streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Emilio. We are pleased to have you with us today. We love "If you had stayed" please tell us what the creative process was like and who was involved in helping create this record? Thank you for having me. It's always a pleasure working with you guys. That means a lot, 'if you had stayed' was created, just like a lot of my other songs, I just sat down on my keyboard and started playing a random riff, and it ended up becoming the staple piano riff. This song did go through some changes along the way, originally, I had called it Ghosts. My producer was the only other person involved in this song, I bring him the song that I have written and composed, and he just worked his magic in the production to make my image come to life. When "If you had stayed" was completed, did you feel like there were challenges, and if so, what were they, and how did you handle them? Well, 'if you had stayed' was written during the beginning of the COVID-19 Lockdown, so there was a multitude of issues. Everyone was struggling, some worse than others, I was blessed enough to not have been hurt too badly by the pandemic, and even now, it is always good to be grateful for your situation and to hope for everyone else to be in a better place soon. When the lockdown ended, and the pandemic was within a safe margin, I got into the studio with my producer using masks at all times that I wasn't recording. What do you do to keep your voice in top shape for recording and performances? I always use my vocal warm-ups before I start singing. That's about it for me, I warm-up with the same regiment of vocal exercises before a gig and a recording. What are three essential things you've learned throughout your career that you wish to share with other younger artists like you? I think some things I've learned is that you have to be prepared for the worst situation to happen while working through a project, but not becoming pessimistic. Another thing would be to not be afraid to try new genres and or styles. What's next for you? I'm currently working on my next projects. Instagram Facebook
