  • Neil Nathan Promotes Peace & Love In, "The Folly of War"

Natural-born storyteller, singer-songwriter, and folk-rock recording artist Neil Nathan releases a heartfelt anti-war anthem with his latest single and music video, "The Folly of War." Whenever gracing Neil Nathan's tunes, expect the versatile recording artist to move you. He prides himself on lyrical compositions that transport listeners beyond reality. His dynamic rock, the alternative-folk sound is reminiscent of acts like Cat Stevens, George Harrison, Band of Horses, and Wild Pink. Neil Nathan brings a new meaning to life, love, and loss with his latest single and music video, "The Folly of War." The song itself is a gentle and warm folk song where Neil Nathan serenades us with his spirited vocals, singing an anthem of togetherness, lending a helping hand, and uniting as one. Neil Nathan's song and video, "The Folly of War," were created to raise money for World Central Kitchen, providing meals for displaced Ukrainians. Jumping into the new music video, the scene begins with bright piano melodies, Neil Nathan's soothing vocals, and nostalgic images of past wars. As soldiers march to the battle lines and hide for safety, we shift into scenes of loved ones embracing each other and offering support during times of need. Throughout the video, Neil Nathan switches it up and offers a sense of togetherness through cheerful animations of "anti-war" protests, peace bombs exploding, and planes dropping their good wishes onto lands in need. This modern anti-war video truly moved us, and Neil Nathan's compelling performance is equally exceptional. Spread love, peace, and unity with help from Neil Nathan's new music video, "The Folly of War," now available on all digital streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Neil Nathan. We want to thank you for releasing such a hopeful and meaningful music video like "The Folly of War." What was your main goal with this music video? Thanks for having me! With The Folly of War vid, our plan was to juxtapose more hopeful imagery with the horrible realities of war, without getting too gory about it. And to create something impactful, engaging, and somewhat unique. The song despite its heavy topical fare, is also a bit ethereal and light somehow, a kind of pensive meditation on the contradictions in human nature, the kindness and the brutality. We wanted the visuals to align with that feeling. Who helped create the animations and edits for the music video, "The Folly of War?" What sort of visual experience did you want to offer viewers? This music vid collaborated with Artemis Visuals I worked with on last Summer's "You're My Lady" and "All Together" vids, and Daniela Saavedra who usually creates my promotional gifs. I loved what she was creating with her first two gifs, so I was inspired to keep going with that same theme of weapons of war-dropping flowers, peace, and love, rather than destruction. We then weaved them into the vintage war footage Artemis was craftily compiling. Could you tell us more about your charity of choice, World Central Kitchen? Why are you raising funds for this particular organization? My lovely wife turned me on to World Central Kitchen, and Chef José André's wonderful work providing food to people in need in the wake of natural disasters like the devastating earthquake in Haiti and Russia's War on Ukraine. So far, they've provided over 16 million meals to Ukrainian families. WCK is there on the ground, doing the urgent work, the human kindness I spoke of before, balancing that brutality in human nature. Though both sides of my family immigrated to the USA in the late 19th century, some on my father's side were from Ukraine. Do you usually release songs and music videos to promote your advocacy efforts? Is social activism a recurring theme for your music? I released a 9/11 20th Anniversary Tribute Single called The Guardrail in 2021 and we raised over $8k for the Fred Gabler Helping Hand Camp Fund, in honor of my childhood friend who passed that day. And a song called Election Day for the 2020 Election to raise money for Vote Save America. That one was lots of fun as we got a gang chorus going with many of my talented friends and their kids also recited a gonzo pledge of allegiance. Some artists of note who lent their skills...Tom D'Agustino of Home School, Mike "Slo-Mo Brenner of Wild Pink and Magnolia Electric Company, and Singer-Songwriter Colin McGrath. I also did a fun cover of John Lennon's Power To The People with the guys from Midlake as the backing band. Instagram Facebook

  • Dylan Sherry Packs The Passion In, “Want Ur Love”

Los Angeles-based Japanese-American alternative-rock and pop artist Dylan Sherry graces the ears with a spirited and passionate tune entitled "Want Ur Love." Dylan Sherry has been bringing his blissful, feel-good tunes to the masses since releasing his debut album, 'Western Sky,' in 2019. After signing with the record label L.A. Tangerine, Dylan Sherry later received vast radio airplay and began delving into the sounds of classic country, alternative, and oldies. Dylan Sherry's upbeat and vibrant single, "Want Ur Love," is the third track off his 4-track EP, 'Ur Love,' released May 6. It's quite clear that the single is the EP's heart and core, not just because they share a similar name but because the entire project is based around yearning for what you need while navigating loneliness. Expanding on the song, "Want Ur Love," the experience begins with gentle electric guitar melodies and mid-tempo drums that set the feel-good tone. As Dylan Sherry's breathy and warm vocals melt through our speakers, he slowly increases the groove while expressing his profound passion for someone special. This song serves the perfect dose of nostalgic oldies reminiscent of Gerry Rafferty through a good old foot-tapping folk-rock atmosphere and the utmost passionate lyrics. We adore the overall atmosphere of this tune; it's the perfect track to play on full blast while cruising down the highway in the summer sunlight. Dylan Sherry's performance is nothing but authentic and gripping, truly representing those emotions we feel when in need of someone's tender love and care. Feed your soul with Dylan Sherry's soothing stylings in his new single, "Want Ur Love," from his EP, 'Ur Love,' now available on all digital streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Dylan Sherry. We're head over heels for your single's cheerful and passionate atmosphere, "Want Ur Love." What inspired you to write such a lively and feel-good love song? Hi! Thank you so much for your kind words! Want Ur Love is inspired by that feeling of unashamed, unwavering affection towards someone. In reality, I was going through a complicated time relationship-wise while writing it, but it felt kind of therapeutic for me. Like, there's no guarantee that someone will be in your life forever, but I think it's still important to express those emotions and praise someone who plays or played a huge role. Other than that, it just felt good to make, and I'm happy that feeling is being picked up on. Why did you choose to take a rather nostalgic and oldie route for the instrumentals in "Want Ur Love?" Why was this alternative/folk feel essential for you to create? I can't say it was a distinct choice actually, the whole process just felt natural. I had been playing the songs from the EP for weeks on acoustic guitar, so keeping it raw and more stripped-down felt justified. I also had a feeling it'd be more positive than other songs on the EP. I love the simplicity of doo-wop and oldies so I began drawing more from there, it just kind of came together after that. Did you have any musical influences in mind when creating "Want Ur Love?" Did you want listeners to be reminded of any other artists when hearing the tune? Absolutely! Ricky Nelson is the first one that comes to mind for Want Ur Love. Can't say I'm even relatively close to him in terms of suaveness or singing in general, but songs like My One Desire and I Will Follow You definitely inspired me to create a feel-good love song with a refrain and slight rockabilly edge. How does "Want Ur Love" fit into the concept of your EP, 'Ur Love?' Would you say this song is the heart of the project? I hoped to explore different phases and vignettes of love through the 4 songs on the EP. Like all relationships, there are ups and downs. I'd say 'What U Need' is about trying to navigate a difficult situation where you don't know if the next step will be right. Ride Away is more empowering, almost like taking the reigns of your life back and just trying to get to a better headspace while in the face of adversity. Want Ur Love could almost be considered the honeymoon phase, I suppose. It's that infectious feeling when you're with that person. That's also why I chose to close the EP on a somber instrumental tune. Like, what comes up has to come down. I don't have a spoiled opinion of love or relationships, but that's what I was feeling at the time. Sometimes, you're left with more questions than answers. What's next for you? Next, I'd love to get out and play live with a full band again. Ever since late-2019, it's just been solo shows for me. Those can be great, but a full-band sound is hard to replicate, you can't beat that energy. As for releases, I have 2 cover songs completed which I'm very excited about. You'll definitely hear from me! Instagram Facebook

  • Alexa Hodzic Grieves The Loss Of Someone Special In A New Single, "As A Dream (feat. Olio)"

Los Angeles native, singer-songwriter, actor, and musician Alexa Hodzic releases her profoundly emotional and striking new single, "As A Dream (feat. Olio)." Alexa Hodzic grew up immersed in all things entertainment. She started acting, singing, and dancing at the mere age of three. Besides her music career, Hodzic is a Cali girl at heart who loves music, the beach, and baseball. She strives to create music that resonates and connects with people. It's safe to say that mission comes to life in Alexa Hodzic's third studio single, "As A Dream (feat. Olio)." Her father, Arif, is the singer/guitarist in Olio and started the band with DeHaven Carrington 25 years ago. After DeHaven tragically passed, Alexa Hodzic felt compelled to create a song in his honor alongside his bandmates. The new single, "As A Dream (feat. Olio)," softly opens with gentle piano melodies, Barry Chenault's crisp drums, and Arif Hodzic's brilliant electric guitar. As Alexa Hodzic makes her bright yet emotional vocal appearance, she begins expanding on her growing pain for losing someone dear. The song quickly blasts through our speakers and expands into this anthemic and angsty banger on the hook. Alexa Hodzic belts her vocals and yearns for someone to return to this plane. As we move through the song, Olio's rich and dense instrumentals perfectly back up Alexa Hodzic's emotional lyrical theme while punching our speakers with powerful bursts of energy. This song is packed with natural, authentic emotion, and we're sure any listener who's experienced the death of a loved one will feel seen and heard. Grieve in the right way with help from Alexa Hodzic's emotionally-rich and dynamic third single, "As A Dream," now available on all digital streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Alexa Hodzic. You've honestly moved us with your emotional and dense third single, "As A Dream." What inspired you to write this deeply personal and vulnerable anthem for grieving? Thank you so much, that means everything to me. As a performer and a creator, I often turn to writing music as an emotional outlet. When I found out my Uncle De passed away it was all-consuming. He was a huge part of my life and it took me about a year after his passing before I could start writing “As A Dream”. The loss of someone so important in your life has a huge impact, and the only way I could express that was through my music. What was it like working with the band Olio for "As A Dream?" Do you feel this collaboration helped immortalize DeHaven Carrington's impact on you and Olio? Working with Olio on “As A Dream” was an absolute dream come true. My dad, Arif Hodzic, started the band with drummer DeHaven Carrington 25 years ago. They were such close friends and were extremely connected on a musical level. As I was writing “As A Dream” I knew the only way to truly pay homage to De was to have Olio — which now includes De’s mentor, Barry Chenault (George Clinton & P-FUNK All-Stars, Gap Band, Boo-Yaa Tribe) on drums and Kelley Hill on bass, and Arif Hodzic on guitar/lead vocal — back me up. The process of creating this song with Olio has been such joy on so many levels. Being able to witness a song that I created, about someone so immensely important to me be brought to life with Olio was the absolute best experience. I felt so supported and so loved throughout the entire process. What was your songwriting process like for "As A Dream?" Does this song cover all that you wanted to say to Carrington before he passed? “As A Dream,” tells the story of my grieving process. The pain, the anger, but most importantly the longing. I was, and still am, so mad at him for leaving this world. The way I started the grieving process was by shutting everyone out. To try and wrap my head around the fact that someone who was so important to me is gone, was and is unimaginable. The writing process for this song was quite long, I wanted it to be perfect for him, and I wanted him to be proud of me. The most important takeaway from this song is that the biggest emotion for me is longing with all the pain that comes from grief. I just want him back. To feel his hug, and hear his laugh again. Would you say songs about death and the grieving process is new territory for you? How does "As A Dream" contrast your previous two singles? Writing songs about death and the grieving process is definitely new territory for me. My first single “Juggler” is about a breakup, and my second single “These Days” is about living in the moment. There’s a big difference with “As A Dream” as writing about losing a loved one tells an immensely different story. It’s the most vulnerable I’ve been with my music so far. And I think that’s what makes it so beautiful. All of my songs are quite different, and yet they’re all very true, and real. The one thing all my songs have in common is that they’re all based on personal experiences. I like to think of my songs as pages out of my diary that I’m letting the world in on. What's next for you? I’m currently working on my next single, as well as creating a setlist so I can start performing my music live! I’ve written quite a few songs now, so I’ll be recording and releasing an EP soon. Lastly, I’ve recently booked a pilot that will start filming by the end of 2022. Congratulations on releasing your latest single and video for "NRG" This music video brings out all the best parts of summer and nights we won't forget. Was this always the concept for the visuals? Thanks for having me, it’s a pleasure. This wasn’t the exact concept for the “NRG” video actually. We were supposed to have a bunch of visual fx & showcase us passing on positive energy to everything and everyone we can across. It was so much different cool elements Alex & I came up with. But being an independent artist it’s hard to enter the realm of the POP music budget. Who helped you bring the sonic and visual components of "NRG" to life? How did the people around you contribute to the vision? My manager actually linked me and Alex & helped bring the pieces together for this project. So then Alex & I started bouncing ideas back n forth about the feel of the instrumental. We immediately noticed it had 80 elements and him & I both love the 80’s music so we started thinking of Michael Jackson, Prince & all the other greats as inspiration. Then we spoke about wanting to bring positive vibes & NRG into the record. Alex & Richie loop (another great dancehall artist) was in the studio working on a demo to send me and I fell in love instantly with the vibe of what I heard. I started writing my verse right there and sent it back in a voice note. Alex got hype as well, then I recorded my part and sent it to them and the rest is history. How long did it take for the music video to be filmed? Are there any moments on set that made this experience memorable? It was a one-day shoot, from afternoon to midnight. The whole shoot was a very fun experience. Everyone had good vibes and NRG. From the director Damien Sandoval to his crew, to the models, to my team. Everyone was vibing out with no stress, that definitely added to what we showcased on camera. I can say the most memorable time on set was when Damien Sandoval took us on the pier & we shot the arcade scene he told us to keep the arcade token cards cause when this music video blow up we have a memorable item to relive that moment. Now, "NRG" isn't the first time you two have collaborated. Can we expect to hear this music relationship continue? It is in fact the first time Alex & I did a collab, & it’s definitely not the last. We have some stuff in the works, stay tuned for that. What's next for you? Next up, I’m dropping a music video for my latest single “ICY” it is going to be another movie stay tuned for that. Also, I will be doing a lot more shows now that outside is opening up, like I said stay tuned. It’s going to be a great year for me. Instagram Facebook

  • Ashley Barksdale Lights Up The Dance Floor With Her Latest Disco Treat, “Lovers Dont Say (Goodbyes)”

The queen of the disco ball, the next pop sensation, aka Ashley Barksdale just might be the reason we start turning on the radio again. Growing up in a small town nobody has ever really heard of located in upstate New York, whenever Ashley gets the chance she’s constantly writing in her songbook, coming up with anything that comes to mind, and she plays guitar regularly, coming up with different riffs that can be used in the near future. The upcoming pop star, now with it being a month after the release of her song, had started working on her EP which is set to be released by the end of 2023. Ashley puts on her roller skates and smoothly dances us into a good mood, serenading over the grooviest production. "Lovers Dont Say Goodbye" is a love record about her relationship and its tribulations and how real lovers never say goodbye to each other. Ashley says that she doesn't need him in the chorus, but she wants him - boy has we been there too many times. The guy feels the same wanting to save her, but not really wanting her fully in a relationship. This chemistry leaves them feigning each other's love, having this combination of similar feelings is a perfect match. She doesn't want to fear love, she feels that he has her whole soul. "There's no denying the power that you hold" - expresses that it's just a decision away, "Lovers Dont Say (Goodbye)" Ashley Barksdale is definitely an artist to look out for this year! Welcome to BuzzMusic, Ashley! We're so happy to have you with us today! There's no denying that "Lovers Dont Say (Goodbyes)" is a hit. What inspired you to create such an upbeat song about love? Believe it or not, before I decided to get into my “popera” I was actually releasing pop-punk music on SoundCloud! (haha don’t try to look it up y’all.. they’re all in the vault for now) and I remember it was back in late March that I was looking into Dua Lipa inspired beats, I’m heavily inspired by Dua Lipa and her artistry, and I came across the producer Vshy, who’s a literal beast when it comes to pop related beats and his Dua inspired beat “Goodbyes” caught my eye. I immediately fell in love with the beat and decided to purchase the rights and stems. I then contacted a few of my friends who I go to school with, including the legendary Andre S, who wouldn’t have made this track possible without his mixing and mastering, and I sent the song to my songwriter Geah Sho, who then helped me bring this song to life. From there I knew I wanted to create pop music. This was the genre in that I realized I could talk about my struggles with my home life and relationships and not have it come off as someone who’s given up on everything, but as someone who can take their pain and make it relatable. While in other genres I could have done the same thing, find a beat, write lyrics, and make them relatable but there’s something about pop that allows me to say literally anything. As long as there’s an upbeat track to go along with the lyrics, this sad-ass song automatically sounds like a Katy Perry chart-topper! The beautiful storytelling helps bring your vision fully to life in "Lovers Dont Say (Goodbyes)", how did you come up with the concept of this record? My songwriter Geah Sho who wrote the song played a big part in helping me come up with the concept when I first started to work with her on this song. I sent her the beat, I saw her text that asked me what I wanted the song to be about, I couldn’t respond at that moment though I was in class, I was thinking about a concept. How about talking about my dad? Or even about my journey of how I made it to the Roc Nation School of Music, Sports, and Entertainment? None of what I thought of seemed fitting, but then a good half an hour later she sent me lyrics and was like how about this? She derived a whole song just by the title of the beat, Goodbye. It was then I realized this song is based on two lovers in a toxic relationship going back and forth between “I don’t need you, but I want you, I’ve got to have you” and manipulating one another to stay by saying “Lovers Dont Say Goodbye” and if they really were lovers they’d tell no lies, never make one another cry, and so on. What's the message you're delivering through this song? It’s okay for a relationship to be a little toxic because you know you’re still going to have each other in the end. I say this because the song just seems as if it’s going back and forth again between the idea of I don’t need you but I really want you and got to have you. Anybody who’s in or has ever been in a toxic relationship, myself included can testify and say that throughout the relationship there’s always this back and forth between if I really wanted to leave I could because I can live life without you but also I don’t wanna leave you, I still see the good in you because at the end of the day we’re lovers and we don’t need to say goodbye so I’ll stay by your side and we can work it out even though we both know what we’re doing is an endless cycle. For someone just meeting Ashley Barksdale what would you like them to take away from your music and musical journey? I want people to be able to see that I have the potential and confidence to make it in this industry. I’ve been wanting to get to this point that I’m at right now ever since I was four years old, and even though it’s only been about two months, it still doesn’t feel real that I’m able to say I have music on Spotify and Apple Music. Heck, it doesn’t even feel real that I’m able to say I recorded this song at the Jay Z school, aka Roc Nation School of Music, Sports, and Entertainment because as a student who attends we have access to on-campus studios. I never actually thought I’d be ready for this moment, but here I am. I may not be fully prepared for what’s about to come, but I know if someone were to ask me, “are you ready?” I’d be able to respond with “absolutely.” I have a lot of faith in myself, I know others have a lot of faith in me. I know for a fact that someone one of these days in the next one to three years is going to come knocking on my doorstep offering me that record deal I’ve always wanted. Someone within the next year is going to reach out to me saying they want me because of my song. I know "Lovers Dont Say (Goodbyes)" is a chart-topper, song of the summer, pop anthem, you name it. I have a feeling all I’ve been working up to is going to happen, it’s already happening. This song was my first official step, I just need to start taking more steps. What's next for you? As I’ve stated before, I need to start taking more steps. I’m now entering my second year of college, go me! So while I’ll be focusing on getting my degree in vocal performance, I plan to start recording my EP! I’ve already been in contact with the people I want to work with which includes producers, writers, other singers/rappers, and engineers; I’ve already started working with Geah on new music, and the goal is to release the next single by the end of July and to just start growing as an artist. It’s time the world finally knows who this disco ball-loving upcoming pop sensation Ashley Barksdale really is. Instagram Twitter

You hear the utter care and pep in his step as the lyrical motifs he emanates leave us feeling the warmth of his illuminating aura. The saturated croons that cascade upon a soundscape rich in rhythm is something that we can't take our focus off of. Jamie Alimorad does an exceptional job at bringing life to hues of nostalgic pop within his music. We welcome the enthusiasm with open arms as the world needs more optimism to keep pushing forward. Infiltrating our speakers with "Break the Fall," the passion behind his musical creations, makes us confident that Jamie Alimorad knows what it takes to unite those across the world. Bringing people together and being a shoulder to lean on is a concept we need to be more open to. As Jamie Alimorad reminds us that he'll be there for us to break the fall, it's a beautiful reiteration that we, too, should do the same. Welcome back to BuzzMusic, Jamie Alimorad, and congratulations on the release of your latest single, "Break the Fall." You bring such bubbly energy to this track, and we think the world needs more of that! What moment or story inspired the creation of this song? Great to be back! Thank you. I really love this song. It was inspired by a conversation with someone important to me, and it was a rare moment of vulnerability from her. It stuck with me. We're both in areas of the entertainment industry and understand those struggles and challenges. We had a really fun night out in Santa Monica and capped it off with some music at my place. A few days later I was back in the studio, and my producer (Ross Vannelli) had this melodic idea. As he sang it to me I immediately started singing along, and at the hook for whatever reason, I sang, "Break the Fall," The melody really spoke to me, and when writing a lyric I often like to talk out my thoughts or write it in story form first. After using Ross as a soundboard, we were able to put it together in a lyrical format. It came together very quickly, and I still have the same smile on my face when I listen to it. It's a very pure song. One of the most heartfelt I've ever written. How does "Break the Fall" compare to other songs you've released? What makes it different from the rest? There's a certain warmth, and softness to "Break the Fall," like that of a warm blanket. The vocal delivery is very intimate and I approached it like a conversation. The way the melody rises and falls makes you think it's going to hit this big climax and cross over to something grandiose, but it never does, it stays in its lane, and I really like that. It would've been very easy to go overboard and push it in a direction that's a little more stereotypical, bordering on cheesy, but it remains sincere. The percussion moves the track along, and Ross made some really tasty sonic decisions in the arrangement. In your own words, what is the meaning of this song? What do you hope your audience can take away from it? I wrote this to show I care for her. When someone opens up to you, you want to be there for them. I take that very seriously if someone feels comfortable opening up to me about hard subjects. We could all use some compassion. You don't know what a person is going through, so if they trust you enough to share, that's a big deal. I don't want to get too personal, but my hope for those who listen to "Break the Fall" is that it lets them know they're not alone. Maybe it will inspire family members or old friends to call or text one another. Maybe it will inspire someone to give a loved one a hug. In the end, "Break the Fall" is about being there. What piece of advice do you have for your audience going through similar difficulties as discussed in this track? I think the best thing you can do is listen. When people speak, listen to what they have to say. Be present. We all live such fast-paced lives. Slow down. A true, genuine connection can be hard to come by, but when you allow yourself to open up you can discover endless possibilities. What's next for you? I'm very excited about my first show in over 2 years! I'm working on some LA dates for the summer and beyond. I have many music video projects in the works and have much more new music coming throughout the year. Instagram Facebook

  • Head “Up To The Rooftop,” With Ra7ael

The latest single release from Ra7ael comes in the form of the nostalgic and thought-provoking song "Up To The Rooftop." We're blown away by the power this song holds, filling our speakers in a magical realm brought to life by airy synths, prominent percussion patterns, and the delicate ease of accompanying symphonic elements. Opening our ears to a reverberated and enchanting bliss as Ra7ael professes angelic croons, an abundance of joy comes reigning supreme from a ballad of this caliber. Being buoyant but profound with the lyrical content conveyed, motifs such as "Kiss with no goodbye. Stay after the sun drops. Do it and don't think twice. Let's go up to the rooftop" fills our mind with the best of both worlds. However, what captures our attention has to be the reminiscent hues pouring in from an 80s-styled hit. Basking in memories of our own by relating to the experiences of Ra7ael is such grand energy to latch onto. It heightens our senses and opens us to the familiarity Ra7ael has intended to place in "Up To The Rooftop." Ra7ael expresses the many sides of himself he has to showcase one catchy single at a time. Now, drawing in listeners with his highly infectious sound, we're ready to see what comes from this up-and-coming talent. "Up To The Rooftop" is available on all streaming platforms for your enjoyment. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Ra7ael, and congratulations on the release of your latest single, "Up To The Rooftop." In your own words, what does a song of this stature mean to you? Thank you so much! Every time that I drop a new song it feels like an intern victory. With “Up To The Rooftop” it feels like I’m showing a different face of my musicality and how far I can go with it. It doesn’t sound like the kind of song that people would expect from an artist like me. How does it feel to be so open to your emotions when creating? Is there ever a part of you that you want to keep hidden from your audience? I believe there are many lovers that can relate to me about being romantically impulsive. The lyrics are about jumping into decisions and situations in a relationship where feelings are uncertain and unstable. The building would be the level that is in a relationship and the rooftop in this case would be the last level where it gets more serious. I’m always covering my lyrics with metaphors and fake scenarios whenever I’m feeling like singing something that I don’t want to give too many details about. So I wouldn’t say that I’m trying to hide something, but it’s necessary some effort and imagination for whoever wants to understand more about my world. When did you know you wanted to take your music seriously and pursue this as a career? It all started as a dream when I was 13 years old when I was doing singing classes and picturing myself as a Pop singer, but I never came to the right opportunity or any motivation from my family to pursue a musical career during that long long time. I only started to take it seriously after leaving college and working my ass off until getting enough money to move to California. How have you grown as an individual from your first song release to now? I’ve been more respectful and patient with my own time and growth as an artist. I also realized that I need to be more precise while taking decisions and choosing the kind of people to work with in my future projects. What's next for you? I’m expecting in releasing as many songs as possible over this year, find some sick collabs for the next few singles, and shoot a music video as soon as possible. Instagram Twitter

Another remarkable feature of this artist is that he possesses a vocal range similar to that of the well-known Pakistani rapper, Bohemia. We already love Bohemia, so when Izzy Tune is reminded of him, we immediately appreciate and adore him. Izzy, like Bohemia, understands how to use all of his vocals appropriately; when to slow down, and when to employ powerful vocals. His voice matches that of a major artist, but he also possesses many of the characteristics of a major artist. The song "tension not yaar" by Izzy, featuring Faceless Shida, has been published. This song was launched on YouTube with an official music video, and the mp3 version is available on a variety of music websites, including Spotify and Songwhip. The song's lyrical substance revolves around the theme "tension not yarr" (don't take stress, friend). Izzy describes all of the challenges that the average person experiences, such as COVID, education, marriage, and so on, then advises the suffering, ignore the negativity, and lives joyfully throughout the songs in a variety of creative ways. In Pakistan, Rahet Fateh Ali Khan is one of the singers Izzy has looked up to. He visited Pakistan for the first time 16 years ago in 2006. He has mixed blessings of good and unpleasant experiences. Depending on the time constraint, he can surely arrange a one-stop meeting for all supporters on his next trip. Despite the fact that Izzy Tune has only released a few songs, he has the potential to become a renowned musician. His next song which is shot in Pakistan, (Dream Party), will undoubtedly be a smash like his previous ones. The song will be released in July after Eid, but no specific date has been established. • FEAT Pours Emotions on Instant R&B Classic, “This Time”

FEAT made his official debut on the airwaves with 'For the Lovers Mixtape' in 2020 and stayed true to his ethos of creating true music for fans and those who appreciate the art of storytelling. He started cutting his teeth as a vocalist at the age of 13 before starting private vocal and acting lessons at the Freedom Theater of Philadelphia. In 2021, tracks from his debut album featured in the independent film, The Unhinged. "This Time'' was recorded at After5 Studios in Philadelphia, featuring Julian Harris AKA, Blvck Soul on bass. "This Time" is a timeless R&B gem waiting to be discovered. FEAT explains that “This Time was written during a breakup, after numerous attempts to make the relationship work, I was left with disappointment, dissatisfaction, and hurt. This song became a way to relieve the undesirable emotions; it was time for me to realize my potential, what I am capable of, and to disconnect from a love that was so very tragic.” FEAT's well-delivered vocals and ambient production take you to a place in his mind where he phones for more from his other half, he is done playing the fool for her. He feels tarnished and used, as he loses his mind over all the lies she keeps spewing. It's not fair that he keeps being there for her, but hasn't been getting that energy in return, it feels like energy wasted. FEAT's jaw-dropping vocal performance is one of the reasons why you'll find yourself always coming back to this track. "This Time" ends with an epic electric guitar solo leading us home. Welcome to BuzzMusic FEAT The Singer, and congratulation on your latest release "This Time." What would you say inspired the record and how long did it take to perfect it all? It is truly an honor. What inspired “This Time” was a moment I’ve had with myself to take control of my life and a situation that was taxing. I was in a relationship that drained all of me. It was this last instance that had broken me down to the lowest. I found myself withdrawn from the world, closed out from everyone and everything, I was so emotionally unstable, broken, and lost. Literally, all that. I wanted to exhaust these feelings and I felt like even if I talked about it, it wouldn’t really do any justice to how I am really feeling; words weren’t enough. I decided to write a song, more so a letter to this person. It is funny now because the moment I began writing it was the moment he thought I’d be continuously caught in this game of light switch - it was on and off. I was an erratic love. Toxic. I decided I did not want to be a part of this cycle anymore and it was time to cut those soul ties. This time is different. This time you can’t come back. This time I won’t allow myself to re-enter my life to do the same thing over and over again. This time I am going to put myself first. "This Time" is such a relatable record for many people, would you say it evolved into something greater than your first few records? If yes, what did you do differently? This Time has surely surpassed prior releases and it was all purposeful. I took my time with This Time and made sure that it was perfect enough to share with the world. I did not want to do the same thing as before and make the same sound as I did on “For the Lovers Mixtape”. I invested so much time in this record and listened to it a million times until I felt deep in my soul that it was ready to be released. What moment are you most proud of to date? And, what keeps you making music and pushing the boundaries? I am very proud of everything I’ve done thus far. I am blessed. One of my best moments yet would have to be a private show I held for the release of “This Time,” which I called ‘FEAT Live.’ I wanted to create an intimate experience that allowed me to connect with my faithful supporters, give them something they truly deserved, and let them know I appreciated their support. This intimate show was divided into two sessions and I performed many songs from my first project ‘For the Lovers Mixtape,’ “Flirtin,’” and of course, “This Time.” I loved seeing everyone enjoying themselves and indulging in that experience with me. How do you get into an emotional space like you did with "This Time" and do you think it's easy for you to channel that feeling? I am in tune with my emotions. It wasn’t hard for me to tap into my emotions with this song because this song was influenced by real-life situations and real emotions. It is easier for me to create passionate, intense songs like “This Time” than any other type of song. What's next for you? I will be releasing another single soon that I am really excited about. It is different from me and what I have been releasing but it is on the same route as the type of songs I will be releasing in the future. Most people know me as being this happy and vibrant person, so I do want to convey that side of me. I look forward to what’s next for me and the evolution in my music career, and however, that looks. I am working.
