Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter and adult contemporary/pop recording artist feeds the soul with her new single and music video, "Moonrise." The contortionist and musical back bender is the embodiment of pure ethereal beauty. Her songs and music videos never fail to wow us, and her fluid body movements and bendy ways are the cherries on top. This time around, Lyra Star enters her fourth collaboration with director Tonya Kay and cinematographer Andria Chamberlin for her latest music video, "Moonrise." Star says she's "always felt a strong connection to the moon as well as the night sky," and viewers can better understand that connection in her latest music video. Blue is the name of the game in this euphoric and fantasy-esque visual experience, all while Star bends over backward and leaves our jaws on the floor with her serene, feminine movements. Expanding on the music video for "Moonrise," we see Lyra Star in front of the full moon and behind an old-school blue microphone. While dressed to the nines and all dolled up with blue hints and accents, Star shifts into scenes of performing her contortionism on top of a nostalgic TV set that's playing a close-up shot of her performance. With nods to her spiritual affinity with the white wolf and the overall cabaret feel, Lyra Star serenades the soul in this breathtaking piece while adding a bit of zest and glitter to our days. She's seen catching her beauty rest on a bed of roses like Sleeping Beauty while shifting towards the outro with her stunning contortionism for an added wow factor. Travel into the mystical and ethereal realm of Lyra Star's latest jaw-dropping music video, "Moonrise," now available on YouTube. Find the lush single on all digital streaming platforms. Welcome back to BuzzMusic, Lyra Star. You've truly wrapped us into your ethereal contortionist world with your music video for "Moonrise." What inspired the harmonious song itself? I wrote this song after coming out of a deep meditation where I saw my spirit animal, the white wolf. The year before I moved to LA, I was really starting to truly connect to myself, my passions, and what I wanted to be doing with my life. How did director Tonya Kay and cinematographer Andria Chamberlin help bring your vision to life for the "Moonrise" music video? Do you think they perfected what you were looking for? This was my fourth collaboration with Tonya and Andria, and they are a joy to work with... Tonya is a true visionary, and she honestly came up with most of the ideas and creations for the different set dressings. I had a few things that I wanted, but she is an incredible director and always knows what she wants from each scene, which makes everything run very smoothly. Andria has a ton of incredible experience and equipment that allow for getting such gorgeous shots and angles, and she brings the most lovely and chill vibes onto the set. Shoot days can be very stressful, but working with these two incredible women is always a comfort... I always know we will get quality material. What was the significance of the nostalgic cabaret feel for the "Moonrise" music video? How do these old-fashioned scenes enhance the song itself? This was all Tonya's idea... I knew I wanted to shoot in that space, and she just loves to get creative with all of the props. I also hired Ryan Enos for the visual effects, and part of her vision was to have that full moon in the background as I was singing on the stage setup. Many of the shots were created with these visual effects in mind... I think the old-fashioned cabaret scene just adds another magical element and also provided a solid backdrop for the moon to appear. What experience did you want to offer the viewer when watching the music video for "Moonrise?" What did you want them to feel? As with all of my videos, I just want the viewer to be taken to another place, both visually and perhaps emotionally... it's an opportunity for me to showcase my movement artistry. I'm not just a singer/songwriter, but I'm also a contortionist. With this song, I just want them to feel mesmerized and transported into a dreamlike fairytale landscape that ultimately is a glimpse into my own inner world. What's next for you? I am currently working on finishing my EP, which I'm planning to release at the beginning of November. Instagram Facebook

We adore the empowering theme and concept within your new single, "Ferrari." What inspired you to write a song about never lowering your standards? I drew my inspiration from my and my friends' tendencies. Why do we always underestimate ourselves? I don't get it. We work so hard on being perfect; yoga, therapy, talents, looks, and then let some dude with no job treat you badly? What? i\If you wanna be with a cool chick and be a cool dude, make an effort! The end. What was it like working with producer Mario Marchetti for "Ferrari?" How did he help execute your vision and ideas? Working with Mario is so easy. He knows me very well and just gets me. I came up with an idea, and he made it better. It helps that we have a similar sense of humor, so the song turned out to be exactly what I envisioned. What do you hope the listener feels and takes away from the new tune, "Ferrari?" What impact did you want to leave on your audience? I think the song is entertaining and fun, and the message is clear, so just a little reminder, ladies, do not lower your standards for anyone, please, cuz' you're a freaking FERRARI. Why did you decide to take a break from your usual comical and humorous tunes with "Ferrari?" Why did you want to create a more serious and honest song this time around? I am exploring this humorous direction at the moment. I let my personality come through every song, I think the world needs light and positivity, and I want to keep going in that direction. What's next for you? The next single is called "tiny little dick guy," and it is about dudes who put women down. I have an important message for these dudes- get ready. Stay tuned! Instagram Facebook
- D’NME And Duncan Bring Out The “Fighter,” In Us
The face of the modern rap game is back and better than ever. Toronto-based rapper and hip-hop recording artist D'NME smashes the scene with his new empowering single, "Fighter," featuring Duncan. D'NME first made waves on the scene with his debut late 2000s mixtape, 'The Death of Me.' Since then, the Toronto-hailing artist has emerged as one of hip-hop's most gifted and skilled emcees. With countless media features and praise, D'NME is truly built for a cut-throat career in the music industry. Now, D'NME hits the scene with his powerhouse new track, "Fighter," alongside the melodic and rich vocal stylings of Duncan. The new song is the perfect artistic comeback we could have asked for; it perfectly represents D'NME's dedication, passion, and drive for success within the music scene. Expanding on the new track, "Fighter," the song opens with dark keyboard melodies alongside Duncan's slightly raspy and powerful vocal stylings. As he sets the song's tone with lyrics about not giving a f*ck about when anyone thinks, D'NME makes his way in and moves the track forward. His fiery and dense bars are incredibly cohesive and clever. We genuinely appreciate the honest bars he blasts through our speakers, inspiring listeners to spread their wings and move on from past hardships to reach success. We also appreciate the vibrant back and forth between Duncan's charismatic vocals and D'NME's heavy-hitting bars; it adds an exciting and dynamic listening experience. As Duncan serenades us on the hook, he brings that energy to the outro and closes the song with intense strength, passion, and perseverance. Channel the inner "Fighter" in you with D'NME and Duncan's latest hit, now available on all digital streaming platforms. Welcome back to BuzzMusic, D'NME. We're more than impressed with your powerful and robust new single, "Fighter." What inspired you to create a track about strength, dedication, and perseverance? Thank you for having me back! It's always great to sit down with you guys to talk about music. I had the verse for "Fighter" sitting in the vault for a while. I was fighting with the idea of using it, no pun intended (laughs). I had originally written that verse to a completely different beat. The original beat carried an inspirational type of feel, so that's really what inspired me to write the verse the way I did. Even though I wrote that verse a while back, I think the content was strong enough to connect with people today. Musically, the original beat would have sounded outdated right now, so once I decided on using that verse, I had my producer Jon Bonus craft the new beat around my a cappella, then we built the song from there. What was it like working with the vibrant vocal stylings of Duncan for "Fighter?" What was your collaborative experience like? Let me just say that working with Duncan is always fun. I think we have natural chemistry. At the moment, Duncan, Jon Bonus, and I all reside in different areas, so it was easier for us to just work remotely this time around. Once Jon and I had enough of the song completed on our end, we sent it to Duncan, and he wrote and recorded his parts. Once Duncan sent the record back, Jon went back in and added some more music to complement what Duncan had done vocally. Duncan and I had been talking about working together again because we hadn't worked on music since 2017, so it felt great to collaborate with him on this song. When comparing "Fighter" to your previous releases, would you say this song represents how much you've evolved as an artist? I think from an overall song standpoint, "Fighter" definitely shows my evolution as an artist because the focus isn't solely on the rapping portion of the song. Earlier on in my career, all I was concerned about was my rapping. That's because I'm an MC first. So a lot of my early songs are rap-heavy, but the other parts of my songs, like the hook or the arrangement, weren't what I was necessarily focusing on back then. Nowadays, I still put a lot of energy into my rapping, but I also try and make sure that every element in each one of my songs are equally as strong. Did you hope to evoke a sense of confidence, drive, and ambition in your audience when listening to "Fighter?" To be honest, I only started thinking about how this song would evoke those emotions in my audience when the overall record was finished. As artists, we get so lost in the process of creating that we don't think about anything else. That's why it took "Fighter" to be finished for me to start thinking about how it would connect with my audience. I can't lie, though. I would feel a sense of fulfillment if people listened to this song and drew inspiration from it to become more driven and/or have more confidence in themselves. My approach when rapping or writing is rooted in supreme confidence, and without a doubt, "Fighter" represents that in a major way. What's next for you? I'm always writing and working on new music. I'd like to release an EP later in the year, but I want to take my time with it. "Fighter" has been getting a great response, so I'm definitely in that zone of promoting the record and getting it as much exposure as possible. Instagram Twitter

Her deep musical expression and the emotional power of her piano playing are a breath of fresh air. Anna Goryacheva's forthcoming debut album, 'SUMMER NIGHTS,' will feature the music of Chopin, Satie, Rachmaninoff, Debussy, Liszt, and Glass. Listeners can hear Goryacheva's broad musical influences on her latest single, "Etude No. 9," a sparkling and gripping musical experience that we could listen to time and again. Expanding on the new single, "Etude No. 9," the performance begins with a fluttery and bright piano arrangement that slowly paints into bright and colorful surroundings, taking us through an invigorating, stunningly expressive interpretation of Philip Glass’ music. Goryacheva perfectly balances the calming flow in the accompaniment against deep and resonant chords in the melody. She effectively conveys the momentum and drive of the composition, showing much attention to details and nuances in her interpretation. Before we know it, Anna Goryacheva grabs the listener's attention and transitions into a middle section that throws us into the emotional depths of love and loss. The piece is meditating and minimalistic in its style, and we hear Anna Goryacheva's broad musical influences shine through significantly as she ramps up the energy towards the end of the piece to change the entire mood and atmosphere within seconds. The introspective and calming outro closes the piece with profound emotion, just as gripping as it is ethereal. Experience the stunning, emotional performance of Anna Goryacheva with her latest dynamic single, "Etude No. 9," now available on all digital streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic Anna Goryacheva! We're so pleased to have you with us today! Your talent is really something special and it's showcased all over this beautiful instrumental "Etude No.9." What sparks the first idea to start creating something this special? Thank you so much for having me! As a classical pianist, I often work more with composers from the past era (Mozart, Chopin, Beethoven, and the like) than with living ones. My new single is a beautiful instrumental track composed by one of the most influential musicians of the twenty-first century, American composer Philip Glass, best known for his minimalist compositions. I am happy I discovered a new path in classical piano music; it is essential for me as an artist to try something that I have never performed before, as experimenting with new styles is important for my artistic development. Why did you decide to record this particular piece and how did Philip Glass influence you to bring this record to life? Now that I’ve performed music of composers from the past and living ones, I have discovered how infinitely flexible contemporary composers are and how open they are to exploring new paths in music. Once I found this work, I was amazed at how it slowly escalates and envelopes you; it resonated with me immediately. We love this record's emotion behind it, what gets you creatively flowing when trying to create a masterpiece like this? Can you elaborate more on your personal creative process? This particular piece, Etude No. 9, put me in a hypnotic, meditative mood, which I have never experienced performing traditional ‘classical’ music. Recording this piece was an artistic experiment, and I’m passionate about highlighting the work of Philip Glass. It is a pleasure to discover and perform modern music and celebrate its beauty. As an instrumental track, it leaves a lot open to interpretation. What do you picture when listening to the final version of this track and why? Yes, when you hear one of Philip Glass' etudes, you'll probably come up with your own picture. The Philip Glass etudes' texture is like peering into an ample space; I would even call it a universe. From a distance, you can sense the atmosphere, mood, and the colors of the harmonies. The best part about Glass' etudes, in general, is that they lend themselves to endless metaphors, and "Etude No 9" is one of them. I felt very free and open in terms of interpretation, and as an artist, I enjoyed this freedom of being creative while performing this piece, as I could fully express myself. This piece is based on repetitive sounds and rhythms, an excellent example of Glass/ minimalist style; its simplicity and emotion behind it reflect today’s uncertain times. What's next? Highlights of my upcoming season include featuring works by Philip Glass, my upcoming single, “I'm going to make a cake”, - and wonderful music from “The Hours” soundtrack is set to release on May 7th. Also, I am currently recording my debut solo album, Summer Nights, which is built around the works of Chopin, Liszt, Rachmaninoff, Satie, and Debussy; you can expect it to be released this summer. - Akash & LeA Robinson Bring The Summer Vibes In "Priyanka"
Coming in hot from New York is Indian pop and hip-hop fusion artist and singer-songwriter Akash with his latest enamored, passionate, and playful single, "Priyanka," featuring LeA Robinson. Akash Ahuja has not only created a sound all of his own but at a very young age, he's seen vast success, like being the first Indian on a Times Square Billboard and playing sold-out shows in India. Since releasing his debut single, "Affection," he's made waves with his music, which charted on the iTunes Hip-Hop Top 50. Keeping the passion and wit alive is Akash's latest single, "Priyanka," alongside the "Granddaughter of hip-hop," LeA Robinson. The song is the first of the trio of tracks that will drop in early spring/summer and is about Akash's first crush, none other than Priyanka Chopra. On a broader note, it's a celebration of Chopra's success in the Indian community. This playful and upbeat summer tune, "Priyanka," begins with warm r&b keys that spice up the atmosphere and send us into a nostalgic 90s r&b beat with LeA Robinson's heavenly background vocals. The first lyric from Akash just so happens to be our favorite, "Priyanka, I slid up in your DMs like 'me want ya.'" As we continue through this lively summer anthem, Akash continues spilling his passion and admiration for Ms. Chopra while setting the mood with picturesque scenes of islands and vacations alongside the groovy and energetic beat. We love Robinson's soothing vocal harmonies that amplify Akash's emotion and passion as the two artists head to the feel-good outro. Get an early taste of summer vibes with Akash and LeA Robinson's latest catchy anthem, "Priyanka," now available on all digital streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Akash. We can't get enough of your playful and exciting new single, "Priyanka." What inspired you to write a song about your first crush Priyanka Chopra and her success in the Indian community? "Priyanka" is a gorgeous model and a talented actress and singer. She has done so much to help the Indian community, from being a part of UNICEF since 2006 to promoting children's rights. She is such an admirable figure; who wouldn't be obsessed with her? What made you want to work alongside the 'Granddaughter of hip-hop,' LeA Robinson, for "Priyanka?" What did she add to the single that you were looking for? LeA has always been a great friend of mine whose talents I've always admired. When I finished this track, I knew it needed female backing vocals and that LeA would bring this track to the next level. We've worked together on songs before, but "Priyanka" is the one I am most proud of. Did you produce the lively and rhythmic r&b production for "Priyanka?" Did anyone help you navigate that sonic creative process? I have a very talented team and this track would not have been possible without them. My producer Davincii made the infectious beat, and my talented engineer Anthony Scott DePerto mixed and mastered the track. How does "Priyanka" relate to your upcoming two releases dropping in early spring/summer? Will all three songs give off a cheerful, catchy summer vibe? Nope! This summer we're going to have fun trying out a couple of different sounds. Stay tuned to hear what the next two sound like! Instagram Facebook
- Take In Langston’s Soothing Vocals With, “No Cream”
Being quickly noticed for his four-octave range and exceptional piano playing, Langston's musical journey began in his father's church choir. The young artist knew that music was his calling by the age of five. Hailing from New Orleans, singer-songwriter Langston is the architect behind this vibrant, Soul-Pop-inspired sound-powered by unbreakable harmonies with seamless songwriting and a meaningful connection with his audience. We can't help but get carried away by the sweet sounds of Langston in his latest single, "No Cream." His melismatic croons sweep us away in one fell swoop as we can't help but submit ourselves to the jazz-infused medley. With the smooth and captivating grooves instilled by opulent guitar riffs and finger snaps, there's a beauty that comes from the simplicity Langston conveys. Complex with his emotions, Langston's straightforward nature can be heard through his inimitable storytelling. Professing a myriad of radiant harmonies, we sink into the light-hearted aura that surrounds "No Cream." What we admire most about Langston has to be how he emits his sultry croons in such a buttery way. His vocals glide over instrumentation that's riddled with music's most triumphant sounds. "No Cream" is that dreamy soundscape that you can't help but get lost within. Whether you're cruising through the streets late at night or getting ready for a sensual night in, Langston has set the mood with his minimalist approach found on this track. Proving that less is more and it helps to put quality first, Langston is what we all need to spruce up our playlists. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Langston, and congratulations on the release of your latest single, "No Cream." Is there a particular moment or story that inspired the creation of this song? The story of "No Cream" is definitely one for the books. I remember being in my room and praying to God for a hit record that would change the world. Within five minutes, the words "Don't want no cream in my coffee" immediately came out of my mouth. This record was created from divine inspiration. From there, the emotions took over and every phrase and melody was so natural as I was singing from a place of admiration. Has being vulnerable always come easy to you when creating? Do you find that there are emotional boundaries you won't cross when writing lyrics? Being vulnerable wasn't always easy for me as an artist. Once I understood how much my fans connected with my story, it was at that moment that I decided I wouldn't hold anything back from them as they deserve a piece of me through my music. Nothing is off-limits as long as it comes naturally. How does "No Cream" compare to other songs heard in your music catalog? "No Cream" is such a special song to me. I want fans to know they are loved and true beauty comes from within. Oftentimes melanated women, or as I call "Brown Sugar" are underrepresented when it comes to societal standards of beauty. They, too, deserve recognition for the beauty they possess. No matter what color or ethnicity, I want fans to be able to look in the mirror and see the queen or king within themselves. No Cream embraces beauty from within. What have you noticed most about your growth as an artist? Growing up in New Orleans, you could find the local mailman blowing the trumpet-like Louis Armstrong. I grew up under many music legends who shaped me into the artist I am today, in which you can hear some of their influence in "No Cream." I notice my ability to constantly learn after each record I release. My approach is always that of a student when it comes to my growth as an artist. What's next for you? I'm most excited to showcase my versatility and present Langston to the world. Breathing life into the Pop-Soul genre one song at a time. Instagram Twitter
- Court Taylor Is Back With A New Country Single, “Texas Broke My Heart”
Born in Dublin, Court Taylor grew up around her old folks, singing along to the likes of Johnny Cash, The Beatles, and Queen, she learned how to play the piano at a young age and when she graduated, her father gifted her a Fender Sonoran and she's been playing ever since. In 2019, she moved to Arizona and it’s helped her realize her Wild West Cowboy dreams. She returned to her roots in Georgia, and it didn't take long for Nashville's recording studio 'Off The Row' to discover Court Taylor's talent & bring her to Nashville to record her original music. Taylor's song "Texas Broke My Heart" is a heartfelt account of how she fell in love with a man who broke her heart; throughout the song, she refers to him as "Texas." Throughout the melody, she takes us back in time to where and what happened between her and Texas, despite warnings from her friends, she pursued Texas regardless. With the emotional country acoustics, Taylor sings about precious memories they shared together, memories of them dancing "on that old bar floor" and how she felt about being betrayed the past year. She describes how he would constantly hurt her and how his mother was unaware of the person he became, and as Court guides us into the outro of the record, her very melodic, bold-blend vocals become increasingly vivid. "Texas Broke My Heart" showcases Taylor's storytelling skills and her distinctive country-style vocals, making it a timeless classic. Get lost in Court Taylor's new single, "Texas Broke My Heart," available on all streaming platforms today. Welcome to BuzzMusic Court, thank you for being with us today. We can tell that "Texas Broke My Heart" is a story told from the heart, what does this release mean to you and what made you decide on the concept? In 2019, I met this guy from Texas while I was living in Arizona. We spent most of our days there together and two-stepping with our friends at The Maverick. He was so charming and we had so much fun together. When the pandemic started, we both decided to go back to our hometowns for a few months, and then we were going to go back to Arizona around the same time. His hometown is exactly halfway from my hometown to Tucson, so on my drive back, I planned to visit and meet his parents. I thought it went super well and his parents invited me back, and I really saw things going somewhere with him. So I let him know I was all in on it. The next day, I drove back to Arizona and didn't hear anything from him. I tried calling and texting. Nothing. Completely ghosted. Our friends and I had always thought he was very mature and this southern gentleman, but he didn't have the decency to tell me the truth. He ended up leaving the company we worked for and moving back home, and we haven't heard from him since. About a week after leaving his house, I was feeling super down and upset about the situation and how he turned out not to be the man I thought he was, and how badly I'd gotten my heart broken last Friday night. It took me about 5 minutes to write the whole song after "I got my heart broken in texas last Friday night" popped into my head. This release was a step towards healing and getting my confidence back because it turned a sad heartbreak into a fun song that my friends and I can two-step with. How did you find the process of creating this record and are there any new things you've learned throughout that time? I learned so much working with Off The Row. I didn't have a lot of experience in studios prior to recording Texas Broke My Heart. It was amazing to hear my song with a full band and see them listen to my demo a few times and then bring it to life immediately, exactly as I heard it. I learned how to punch into songs and the production side of creating a song. There's a lot more that goes into it than people realize. How do you balance life between the music and your other obligations with the world still being in and out of lockdown restrictions? Being home more often has been a blessing in disguise. It's given me the flexibility to focus more on music. I fully believe I would not be where I am in my music career if lockdown had not happened. It forced me to really sit down and take the time to enhance my guitar skills and songwriting. I was quarantined with a close group of friends in Arizona and we didn't have our usual means of entertainment, so I played music for them a lot. It helped me gain the confidence to sing in front of more people. Once restrictions started lifting, I was able to jump into the music scene. Now I'm fully immersed in music in the evenings and on the weekends and working from home during the day. What's the message you're trying to deliver through "Texas Broke My Heart?" This song is meant to be a heartbreak anthem to scream at the top of your lungs in the car with your friends. It's supposed to pick you up when you're wallowing in self-pity over a relationship that was only a small piece of your story. I feel like the break-up cliche is "it's not you, it's me." and this is definitely a song to remind yourself that actually sometimes it's not because of you and it's all because of them and who they are as a person. Sometimes you have to be mad and upset for a minute and just really let out how you feel. Then you can tell yourself that you're worthy and great and deserve the world. Afterward, you can pick yourself up and move on. Instagram Facebook
- We "Don't Stop The Party," When King Gamble Is Near
King Gamble, born and raised in New York City, Brooklyn, fell in love with creating music at the age of 10, he grew up with many inspirations such as Notorious BIG, Fabulous, and Jay-Z. These artists were his main encouragement and their creativity and drive helped him stay steady on his musical journey. King Gamble tells us that life is an ongoing party that we're meant to enjoy and that we're all riding this beautiful wave of life. King Gamble brings a clean cloud of fresh air to the music scene with his R&B-driven instrumental and club vibes, serenading us away. He paired up with J-Cardy for the tough punchlines and hard knocks to give this record its solid overall sound. "Don't stop the party" is a must-have for your summer and nighttime playlists, keeping you hypnotized from beginning to end. This record keeps you moving with J-Cardy spinning in and out of the beat with lines like, "Hands up! It's a vibe, everybody with me, drinks up!". He flexes the high-life to a woman that he speaks to in the second verse, saying she could have it all, as long as she has a good aura. Rightfully so, he keeps us dancing and bridges us perfectly towards King Gamble's tuneful vocals to lead us home. We feel that this record by King Gamble & J-Cardy will have every person dancing to until the sun comes up! "Don't Stop The Party" is an exhilarating crossing between R&B, hip/hop, and pop, the most high-sounding trio we all know and love. Welcome to BuzzMusic King Gamble! It's an honor to have you with us. As an artist who has been around for some time and has created several records, what was your main goal in creating this record, and what was the process like when piecing it all together? First off I’d like to say thank you for having me on your platform. The process of creating this record was just a resurgence in timeless feel-good music. We wanted to give a track that can uplift you no matter what time of day or emotions you’re going through. You hear those first ad-libs and your mood instantly changes. Putting it together was seamless being that we had mutual intentions for the track to be a smooth-catchy club banger. "Don't Stop The Party" features J-Cardy and we can definitely say it's the perfect combo! What was it like working with him and how was the process of assembling the record? Man JCardy is family. That’s my brother right there so the chemistry is always at an all-time high. Once we heard the beat the lyrics flowed so seamlessly that we knew we had something special. We just build off each other’s brilliance time and time again and this is just another example of that. Which skills have you gained that helped you perform more effectively as an artist? I’ve learned that everyone is not going to be a fan of you at first. Matter of fact maybe never will be a fan and that’s perfectly ok. I’ve made the mistake before of making music for certain audiences and it worked but it was not fulfilling to me. The music I make now is strictly from the heart and reflects very much so in the tone and lyrics. Music is universal and it’s a tool for different purposes. I want to touch the masses whether you are 15 or 65. At the end of the day, it’s the passion and love for the art that’s going to show through. You have never stopped creating records and pursuing everything you need to within the industry, what are some of your most proud moments? I got the chance to perform at Webster Hall at the height of its existence. I’ve been to BB King and Apollo Hall. Being from New York, that’s huge as an unsigned artist. Shout out to all the opportunities I’ve had because it’s something I’ve thought couldn’t happen. Honestly, every time I put out a new piece of work is my proudest moment. I’ve been through it all from the “music groups”, the mooching entourages, to the fake managers looking for their own gain. - Tron Page Takes It To The Bank With, “Income”
Tron Page, originally from Harlem NYC, anchors his artistic expression in his craft. By the time Tron turned 15, his older brother began making beats for Ruff Ryders and he had the opportunity to be exposed to the likes of DMX, Swizz Beats, EVE, and The Lox. His first project, entitled "This Is Me Vol. 1" dropped in 2010, followed by his EP entitled “Love Letter” and “Tron Legacy” in 2013. In that same year, his single “OMG” was being played on Power 105.1 and he opened for Soulja Boy and Lil Mama. As he brings us into his world on his new single, "Income," he showcases his thoughts and attitude towards taking action above talking big about his plans for his personal success. The "Income" is what gives him the motivation to continue to grind and create great art. Tron Page puts his hustler's cape and game-face on as he expresses his hunger for a life less stressful, and more prosperous. Tron's passion for the rap game and his dedication to his craft speaks up during the end of his second verse as he mentions again how he is "All about that action, Leave that talk to a minimum." He ends the record off in style with his catchy lyrics like, "There's money to be made, Go and get you some," motivating you to say that you can do it too. "Income" is an anthem for go-getters who will surely be creating huge waves in the urban scene. Despite his upbringing, Tron Page sets out to take it all with his hunger for success and his unique style as an artist. You read it here first, Tron Page is an artist to keep a lookout for in 2022. Welcome to BuzzMusic Tron Page, and congratulation on your latest release "Income." When you were creating "Income" what did you find most fun about the process? Writing “Income” was a lot of fun for me. I started with the first line of the song and it flowed so perfectly from there. The line was: “thinking clever, applying pressure”; the cadence of how that line came to me reminded me of Cash Money. I used to idolize them growing up; so when that line came to my mind, it struck something in me. That energy poured into the verse and then the bridge and then the hook. Before I knew it, I wrote the whole song in 20 minutes! I love it when songs come to me naturally, without force...that genuine connection to creating a song is what makes it fun and personal. As an artist coming from Harlem, how did its influence affect the making and the unique sound of "Income?" Harlem has always been flamboyant, fly, and flashy. Growing up, there were so many ways to express yourself: Music, Art, Fashion…there was no limit to self-expression. I’d come outside and see some of the most fly people you’d ever encountered. Even down to how we talk! I grew up under people who had so much swag and embodied confidence. I always write through the lens of what I’ve seen and what I’ve experienced. Harlem comes out through my music but that’s because my home is a part of what makes me who I am. “Income” is a representation of how people in my town express themselves. No matter where we go, we always stand out. Growing up in NYC, were there any challenges you faced when it came to your musical journey? NYC is one of the most unique places in the world. This makes my musical journey just as unique as the city that I’m from. My main focus on this journey was to start by learning who I am as a person, then as an artist, and perfect my artistry from there. It can be challenging to stand out in a space that is saturated with talent so knowing myself first was crucial. I wanted to get away from comparisons, remain authentic to my own energy but still remain connected to the overall legacy of the city. When I think about NYC’s impact on hip hop, I feel like there is nothing but great lyricists that came from this city. I wanted to continue on that path of being a great lyricist but also expand beyond that by focusing on songwriting as a whole (like putting emphasis and details into the bridge and chorus) and taking risks sonically. Broadening my abilities so regardless I’ll never be considered boxed in. Lastly, it’s challenging to break a record or to break a new artist on the radio in NYC. It’s almost an obsolete avenue at this point. I feel like there are other markets where the DJs trust in themselves and have the support to break new artists. I would love to see that energy come back to radio in the city. This is a very motivational record and we love that! If you could leave us with one piece of wisdom, what would it be? If I had to leave a piece of wisdom it would be to always believe in yourself. I know that it may sound cliché but it couldn’t be more truthful and necessary for any journey you’re on. No matter the circumstances, never call it quits! Never give up on your goals and aspirations! Lock all the way in! I know that things get hard and I would never deny that the road can get rough. However, it’s more important to keep going because there is no permanency to tough times. If you could wake up to another day, you have another opportunity to take one more step towards your goals and dreams. Always follow your vision and always look to win! What's next for you? First, I’d like to thank everyone who has supported me and streamed my latest project “Opulent Mindset!" Look out for an upcoming, conceptual EP that I’m currently working on. It’s called “Love on Romance Road”. I’m super excited about this project! I’m getting out of my comfort zone and exploring different melodies, rhythms, and harmonies. In this upcoming project, I am writing content that is geared towards my female audience, however, it is very relatable to any and everyone who experiences the highs and lows of love. I am also looking forward to touring in the near future. I want to be able to experience all of my fans in a new way and allow them to have a new level of connection with me. I am excited to be putting out merch soon and really pushing myself into new areas of music and business for my company, ‘Same Page.' Instagram

Welcome to BuzzMusic Young God Blow, thank you for joining us today! Let us dive into "LIL MAMA!," what was your experience when creating this record and did you have a specific process throughout that time? After my recent collaborative singles, I really wanted to make myself stand out as far as what I wanted to release for the new year. I was riding a high momentum wave after my previous hyper-pop single ‘ENERGY’ so I figured I’d go in that direction again. R.L Beats sent the beat over and it was named ‘Gemini’ which happens to be my girlfriend's zodiac sign so naturally, I was inspired to make this a love song of sorts and from there it was history. We love the sound of this record, what sparked the concept of this record and how did you decide on your featuring artist? So I fully wrote the entire song and I originally had intentions of singing it myself, but one day I showed my girlfriend the reference I had and she started singing back to me a lightbulb went over my head. I knew she had a beautiful voice and the song is essentially about her, so I asked if she wanted to sing the chorus and she did, which makes the song all the more special. Many artists find their niche and run it up, it seems you've found your lane in terms of sound. Do you think hyper-pop best displays your feelings and why? I’ve never felt like I was able to place myself in a box which is what made it hard to find a niche I was able to stick to, but I still don't. But what I do know is I always bring raw energy and upbeat vibes. Hyper-pop has definitely helped me find a “lane” I can slide into but not restrict what I have to offer. What I love about hyper-pop is I can rap about some over-the-top sexual innuendos or keep it sincere and throw in themes of love, all that matters is the energy you display and that’s all I do baby. Your lyrical precision on "LIL MAMA!" displays your epic songwriting abilities. Have you had writer's block in the past and if not, then how do you stay in your creative pocket? Oh hell yeah, I get writer/creative block all the damn time. As an artist, it’s hard when you’re already fighting to get yourself seen or heard, so when you can’t draw inspiration from yourself it’s a huge letdown. But I live by a few sets of words “don’t force yourself” nothing natural comes out of trying to force the issue. When I get in a creative funk I take time to myself and relax, have fun, & enjoy life. Creative inspiration can come from anywhere but if you sit and try to make it happen that won’t work at all. So learning to take breaks and find yourself is definitely advice I can give others to find their creative pocket. What's next for you? I have a ton of amazing stuff planned out this year it’s got me excited haha. Let’s just say music, videos, merch & possibly a mixtape is headed everyone’s way. Super thrilled to put it out into the world Instagram Twitter
