Annie Sea sings acoustic soul anthems to energize and empower her audience. Whether she is leading a band or weaving a solo live looped soundscape, her velvet voice and lively melodies deliver compelling stories of transformation. She strives to pursue an eco-conscious life aligned with her message based in the Green Dream tiny home in Portland, Oregon. Deeply tuned into her sound, Annie Sea has strengthened her voice and stepped into her new role as a powerful frontwoman. Her writing reflects her belief that we can collectively return to a more sustainable way of living and her journey toward her true vision and purpose. The authenticity that Annie Sea pours into her latest single, "Save Me," sends chills down our spine. Her lyrical motifs are poetic and filled with descriptors that transpire to a sonic destination with an enticing visual that occupies our minds. Performed with melodic articulation as she oozes angelic timbres for us to feast upon, we feel the passion of Annie Sea come to the forefront. With a slow tempo that eases us into the chorus, "Save Me" is a brilliant display of her inimitable songwriting techniques. The instrumentation plays into this showcasing moment and carries each harmony coincidingly. Annie Sea wrote "Save Me" as a plea for interspecies empathy and from the perspective of a mother Orca. Elaborating on such a unique concept that remains more irreverent as each day passes, a sense of clarity and education comes from the emotionally fuelled words of this up-and-coming starlet. Planting the lyrical seed, "Would you save me if you understood my song - would you save me?" Annie Sea has us along for the ride and wants us to fight the fight for our beloved Mother Earth. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Annie Sea, and congratulations on the release of "Save Me." We love how you took such an urgent subject and turned it into this striking pop ballad to create awareness amongst your listeners. Could you please share a deeper look into the moment this inspiration struck? Thank you, BuzzMusic! I'm glad you enjoyed the song and felt touched by its message. Thank you for this thoughtful question. Inspiration for the chorus lines came first. While I was walking home one day, I spotted a vinyl record of Humpback whale songs in the window of a vintage store. I bought it, and as I continued walking, I found the lyrical seed, "Would you save me if you understood my song?". I wondered how we would change our actions if we could communicate with other creatures and truly comprehend what they had to say. I recorded a voice memo on my phone and wrote the line in my notebook. A few weeks later, I saw a screening of the documentary “Dammed to Extinction.” This powerful film examines the impact of the Snake River dams on the decline of Salmon populations and the health of Southern Resident Orcas in the Pacific Northwest. (It also includes one of my songs in the closing credits). In the middle of the documentary, this song's seed started to grow roots. The humans featured in the film described the names, features, and families of the Orcas they knew, in a population with only 75 creatures left. They showed the tragic footage of a mother Orca, Tahlequah, who lost her calf, but continued to carry her for 17 days in a tour of grief. They showed the dams that block the free flow of rivers, heat the water, and make it difficult for Salmon, the food of choice for the Southern Resident Orcas, to survive. I felt compelled to develop the story of the song from the perspective of a mother Orca singing to us. Does your music tend to take such a mindful approach to the world? What and who inspires your styling? A lot of my music is poignant and addresses deeper issues, although I have also written many funny songs. We contain multitudes, right? I would describe myself as a "writer song-singer". I came to art as a writer first, tucking poems away in my pink diary as a nine-year-old. I love writing songs and poems because they force you to say a lot in a small space. My favorite songs are about subjects or from a perspective that I don't see discussed often. I strive to weave the conscious, groovy soul of Tracy Chapman and India Arie with the folk lyricism and earth-centered songs of Ayla Nereo and Rising Appalachia. What would you like your audience to take away from the main message? How can they support the cause further? The story of Save Me focuses on one local environmental issue and the animals and humans affected by the river dams, but there is also a wider message about the problem of placing humans at the top of a species hierarchy. How would the world change if we could hear trees crying when we cut them down, or fish telling us their water is now too warm to spawn? Because we think of other creatures as less than human, as "other" (and we often think of other groups of humans in this way as well), we don't truly register the consequences of our actions. You could even argue that we pay more attention to animals like Orcas or Bears because we see some of their intelligence and similarities to us. In my former life as a biologist, we called them the "charismatic megafauna", and conservation efforts often focus on them. I am currently reading Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer (for the second time - it may be my favorite book!), and she discusses this idea through the lens of plants and other animals. She discusses Indigenous customs of asking permission of plants before picking them, for example. It seems subtle but could lead to a powerful shift in our perspective. I am certainly no saint in this regard, but I think it is important to travel this path, to shift towards viewing ourselves as part of a family of organisms rather than the kings of a plant and animal kingdom. This link is a great portal to different organizations helping to advocate for the removal of the Snake River dams: https://www.dammedtoextinction.com/how-you-can-help What's your mission statement as an artist? My mission as an artist is to uplift and invigorate people and remind them of their own power. I write to explore our connections to each other and the Earth, and I aim to convey hope while sometimes acknowledging the heaviness of the world. Instead of blaming individuals, I try to reflect on the ways that we are all a part of a system and society that we say we want to change and inspire that change through my art. What's next for you? I will be releasing my next single, Tiny House Loft, on June 10th, with a hilarious video to follow. The song is based on my experience living in a tiny home for the past five years and is about the challenges of romance in a small space. I'm also planning to release the EP, Aligning, in the Summer of 2022. I have many many songs I would love to record, and I am working to connect with the resources that will help me continue to create beautiful art. Please join my community to stay tuned! Stream Jame Bene's "Mountain" today on all streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, James Bene, and congratulations on the release of your latest single, "Mountain." This piece builds into such a beautiful climactic moment before the song ends. Excellent job! What moment or story inspired the lyrical motifs that we hear? Thank you! This song had its challenges when it came to the right sound to match the lyrics. I wanted to create a haunting uptempo ballad to match the intensity of the words without it being too morose. To be honest, I wrote this song as I was uncovering some childhood trauma as an adult. I often write about my past experiences because I hope my music inspires people to heal, learn, and conquer…no matter what they have experienced. Does your music tend to take this approach when presenting your artistic style? Aways. It is hard for me to be inauthentic when it comes to art. What’s the point of being an artist..right? So many of my songs (soon to be released) are about my childhood and my experiences..and are different from the first two songs I have released. Mountain also veers away from what I just put out. My first album is going to be very autobiographical in nature and has a dramatic flair lol…I am a performer at heart. What do you hope the overall messaging in "Mountain" says to your audience? Your life experience can harden you and make you closed off to love until you accept them as part of who you are and you become a mountain…strong as fuck! That’s what I wish to express. Excuse my french. What is your mission statement as an artist? To follow the beat of your own drum no matter what “they” tell you to do or be. Madonna said it best, "express yourself don’t repress yourself.” What's next for you? I am working on my full ep and then my album. I am dropping a remix of “Mountain", “Hours" and "American Warrior" due out this summer hopefully along with a new song…It’s will be a remix album for the kids ha! RENN and Mynxy excel at transporting us to their burgeoning world as they share their hearts with us. Listen to “Broken Heart” today to get wrapped up in the beautiful chaos. Welcome to BuzzMusic, RENN, and congratulations on the release of your latest single, "Broken Heart." We love everything about this song. With a song title and concept that plays into emotions, we all know too well what moment inspired your drive to create "Broken Heart?" "Broken Heart" is inspired by some moments that I've personally been through in the past. When falling in love with someone that you deeply feel a connection with, but in the end, one of the two ends up cheating on the other. It's a really harsh thing to do on someone, and that can leave a scar for a very long time. What was it like working with the vocal talents of Mynxy? How did this collaboration come to be? Morgan is an amazing artist to work with. I heard about MYNXY from a friend of mine who lives in Vancouver. They had a song together, and when I heard Morgan's voice for the first time on their record, I immediately knew that she would be the perfect fit for the vision that I had for the song. In terms of the vision you set out bringing life to "Broken Heart," do you find it's being received how you intended it to be? I think it's a song that a lot of people can relate to. I actually received a few messages from people saying that the song reminded them of some past experiences that they've been through. It means a lot to me because it shows that I actually made a real impact on some people, and it has been well received so far. Feels great to know that people relate to it as much as I do. What main message would you like your audience to take away from this song? My intention behind this song is for the people who've been through a hard situation like the one described in the song; you are not alone. We're all human beings and we're all going through similar situations in our life. Having a broken heart is one of the hardest situations that anyone can go through and I want people to feel that they aren't the only ones who've been through that. Where they can reach out to others, talk about it and help each other in order to get over it because life goes on. What's next for you? I have a lot of new music coming up in the next few months and live shows with brand new visuals that I can't wait to present! This is some stuff that I've been working on for so long that I'm really excited to finally be able to show it to the public! • Chris Poulson Watches A Relationship, “Fall Into Pieces”

Soaring in from Burbank, California, is industry veteran, musician, and singer-songwriter Chris Poulson with his punchy, powerful, and cathartic new single, "Fall into Pieces," from his debut solo EP of the same name. Chris Poulson has seen many stints in the music industry that date back to the early 00s. From smashing the drums with Rock Kills Kid to sharing the stage with The Plain White T's, A Static Lullaby, Anderlin, and many more. Chris Poulson decided to put down the sticks and focus on his solo career in the mid-00s, and it's safe to say he's nowhere near done making his mark on the music scene. In 2021, Chris Poulson released his debut solo EP 'Fall into Pieces,' featuring the heavy-hitting, emotional, and gripping title track. The single, "Fall into Pieces," shows Poulson packing the "requisite snarl of the wounded," he explains, which offers equal amounts of emotion-drenched instrumentals and deftly conceptual lyricism. Kicking things up a notch, our venture into the single, "Fall into Piece," begins with a wailing and captivating lead guitar that soars through our speakers alongside thick mid-tempo drum hits and a gut-wrenching rhythm guitar. Listening to Chris Poulson's powerful and deeply passionate vocals, he belts his heart out while bearing the burden of a relationship's turmoil and looking for a way to survive. This compact banger is straight out of 00s punk rock, but Chris Poulson has this unique way of adding different spins and flairs through dreamy, energy-filled guitar solos that chill us to the bone. Chris Poulson leads us to the song's end with a need for relief, which listeners are destined to find through his cathartic and emotion-rich performance. Introduce yourself to the flaming, anthemic, and profoundly meaningful stylings of Chris Poulson through his recent single, "Fall into Pieces," and find his entire debut EP 'Fall into Pieces' on all digital streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Chris Poulson. We are deeply impressed with the anthemic feel and deeply emotional concept within your recent single, "Fall into Pieces." What inspired you to write this powerful and cathartic song? First off, Thank you! I was initially inspired to write "Fall into Pieces" when a small independent music label got ahold of a few songs I wrote from a band I was fronting at the time. They liked my style of writing and wanted to work with my band and me. They asked if I could write some songs that were a little heavier to fit the style of music they were marketing on their label. So, with that in mind and the task I had at hand. I sat in my room and cranked out about fifteen to twenty 30-second song ideas with just a verse and a chorus. And, out of that bunch came the idea for "Fall into Pieces." I had the feeling and meaning behind writing the song come from good old-fashioned heartbreak. Why did you feel compelled to put down the sticks and focus on your solo singer-songwriter career in the mid-00s? Why was this an important move for you? My first instrument was the drum and one that I fell deeply in love with. I started playing when I was 13 years old and began professionally in my early 20s. While playing in several bands throughout that time, I sang lead and backup vocals while drumming. I ended up landing a gig in the year 2001 with a newly signed (Fearless Records) band called Rock Kills Kid. We immediately started the recording of our debut E.P. set to release on Fearless the following year. This was my first experience as a touring artist/drummer. We toured moderately over the next few years following the E.P.'s release while also working on new tracks for our upcoming full-length album. I also sang backup vocals in RKK and even recorded a few cameo vocal spots on our debut E.P. So, I guess you can say singing was a definite passion of mine, as well as drumming. I ended up leaving RKK in 2005 after the recording of the second album that was set to release on Warner/Reprise. The thought of being a frontman was always on my mind, even way back when I first started playing. However, I didn't think I had the courage or confidence to pull it off, so I stuck with the drums. After years of playing around the U.S. and many live shows later, my confidence was on a level that I thought would never see the light of day. From that point on, I put the sticks down to focus on singing and songwriting. I spent the next few years honing my craft while also fronting a buzzworthy rock band in the Los Angeles area that had lost its lead singer. We played many shows all over L.A. and surrounding areas with this band. We even drafted up a nice hefty chunk of song ideas which I either wrote or co-wrote. Only after a short stint did the group disband, and we all parted ways. At that point, I thought it was time to create my own version of a band I had only dreamt about. From all the songs I had in my repertoire, I narrowed them down to my top six favorites and spent the next several months finding the right members to complete this vision. Once the line-up was solid, I contacted a producer/engineer to record a 6-song E.P., which would also be labeled as my singer-songwriter debut. The band had a nice little run, releasing a music video and having toured and traveled to several states over the U.S., As well as playing countless shows in Los Angeles. Some of which are opening and/or sharing the stage with national headlining groups/bands. Right before the group's disbandment is when and where the song "Fall into Pieces" actually came to life. I ended up writing two more songs, "Break Free" and "Joyride," to add to the mix, and I hit the recording studio shortly after to start my journey as a solo artist. Putting the sticks down was an important move for me to not only show the world what I have to offer as a singer-songwriter and frontman but to follow what it is I knew I was put on this earth to do. What emotions or thoughts did you hope to evoke in your audience when listening to the relatable and powerful single, "Fall into Pieces?" With "Fall into Pieces," I hoped to evoke a rollercoaster of emotions in listeners. Almost like getting lost in your own thoughts. For me, it's like driving through a dark wooded forest, and all you see is the road ahead. Oblivious to everything surrounding you. How does the single "Fall into Pieces" represent the E.P.' Fall into Pieces?' How does this single prepare your audience for the entire 3-track listening experience? "Fall into Pieces" represents the E.P. as a whole where the listener can connect from life experience. We have all felt hurt, pain, and sorrow. Yet, life goes on. The title track wraps up the 3-track E.P. in a way that sparks a little fire inside of you. What's next for you? The release of 'Fall into Pieces' E.P. emerged after a long break in the music world. I toyed with the idea for several years of getting back out into the live scene again and doing what it is I love to do. I suppose releasing the E.P. gave me the motivation I needed to make that happen. With that, 2022 is looking bright, and you can definitely expect to see more of me in the coming months. • Belle Vex's "Mirror," Reveals The Truth

Connecticut singer and songwriter Belle Vex makes his distress and confusion palpable. Through his defiance and self-possession, he clarifies that no matter how much he's struggling, he'll survive and be stronger for it. That's everything you get and more with Belle Vex's latest single, "Mirror" - the perfectly captured brilliance that dips into what it's like looking in the mirror and seeing a complete stranger A rather encapsulating sonic and visual concept is brought to life as we take in the emotional expressions reflected in "Mirror." Automatically, those familiar with the electronic textures and gleaming synthesizers of past Belle Vex recordings might be surprised by the arrangement of this particular record. Opening up his bag as Belle Vex adopts a new sound, the captivating rise, and fall of this folk ballad has us soaring in the velvety vocalization of Belle Vex. Anyone who has ever been involved in a desperate romantic entanglement knows how destabilizing it can be. There often comes a moment where the lover is so consumed with longing and uncertainty that he becomes unrecognizable to himself. He looks at his reflection and sees a stranger. In "Mirror," Belle Vex captures that experience brilliantly and does it with the honesty, intelligence, emotional intensity, and compassion that his fans have long associated with his work. Pairing the sonic element of "Mirror" with the elegance of minimalism in the filmic component, we embrace the emerging artist in his most raw and authentic form. As Belle Vex stars in this showcase, we can find him home with an acoustic guitar, haunted by a man who no longer seems like a friend in the mirror. The creative direction also has us incorporating these intimate scenes with the dimly lit street lights as we see Belle Vex out at night alone and singing to the darkness that refuses to respond to him. We see the darkness that can live within one when navigating their footing around a love loss. Belle Vex has an impactful reach that allows his audience to relate to him first-hand. Warmly embracing us as he professes his flaws in this vulnerable masterpiece, Belle Vex has tapped our toes into a profound tale. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Belle Vex, and congratulations on the release of your latest single, "Mirror." This song serves as a truthful letter to yourself and your audience relating to your music. When it comes to the vulnerability heard in this track, do you tend to take this approach to your lyrics? Hey, thank you, thank you. Glad to be here. Normally, I'd try to use imagery to hide what I'm saying to make it a little more conceptual or poetic. Escapism was sort of my thing. I felt I couldn't do that here. I had to be direct. At the moment, it feels like a one-off, but I think I might just leave the curtain open for a while. Since this music video happens to be slightly different from your usual approach, what was it like filming in a different environment? Was this always your vision when deciding the creative direction? Not at all. I like big ideas and theatrical presentations. Originally, I had this grandiose idea, but to strip it down to a simple room felt right. Even as I penned it out, everything made sense. As for the filming, I'm born for this. I'm professionally trained to handle all of this stuff, and my personality just lets me do it. The only time I've ever been uncomfortable when working was on the set of Free Guy. I was doing extra work for fun, and Ryan Reynolds was on set that day. This dude's a rainbow, and everyone there just wanted to crowd him. He's just on a whole other level. I stood back and watched it all. It was kind of wild. Bringing life to this new sound and side of yourself has us rather excited for where you're headed! What inspired you to branch out and take this approach? Can we expect to hear more of this styling from you? Yeah, I would love to say it was an inspiration, but I can't. It was definitely therapy. I accept my younger self, mistakes and all, and it's time to move on. Going forward, I will be open, but this is a ballad, and its scarcity among my other tracks makes it that much more powerful. I'd say to expect more excitement with the lyrics to match. Up until now, I've been going easy. The gloves are off. What would you want it to be if your audience could take away a message from this song? Love can blind you and make you act in ways you never knew possible. Keep that in mind because the concept of love can really make you feel a certain type of way, good or bad. Somewhere down the line or now, depending on how old you are, you may think back and feel embarrassed or even bad about yourself. I'm telling you, though, that you are not who you were, and you will not be who you are today. It's not just you. Everyone around you changes, and that includes your view of them. You have to accept that. What's next for you? I don't know. The funds aren't there right now, so let me rack my brain and figure out a way to get the next video done or a tour happening, and I will definitely get back to you. Everyone believes it's so easy to get a song out, but it's not. No worries, though, cause I'm definitely going to make it happen. Just watch me. Instagram Facebook

  • Take A Trip To The Dark And Eclectic Energy Of Vatomico’s, “Green Floyd”

Based in Los Angeles, California, Vatomico is a band that can slip you into the ease of relaxation as you keep your feet tapping to the beat of their infectious grooves. Embellished by graceful jazzy notes of a skilled piano and a hypnotic saxophone, Vatomico will get you moving with their funk, mambo, and jazz sounds. Allowing us to grasp onto the hyper-realistic elements of the production, Vatomico’s latest single, “Green Floyd,” was born from the idea that we should consider our inner self as part of our environment. The unity and crisp formation that “Green Floyd” offers are mesmerizing as we plunge into the eclectic and amplified essence deep in the fragments of this track. The psychedelic pieces take us back to the notable bassline you may remember from rockers, Pink Floyd. The continuous build-up introduces to us a hypnotic feeling that offers a curiosity that propels us forward through this expansive collection of work. “Green Floyd” captures an array of sonic components and brings them to life in a futuristic manner. While Vatomico is pulling from the past, this crafts an innovative quintessence leaving us mindblown. Listen to Vatomico’s single “Green Floyd” today and take it in yourself. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Vatomico, and congratulations on the release of your latest single, "Green Floyd." With such a brilliant concept pulling us into your refreshing sound, what moment or story inspired the creation of this song? "Green Floyd" was born from the idea that we should consider our inner self as part of our environment. Everything started by looking for a beat that would be reminiscent of a psychedelic feel to represent our inner self. Then, the idea of "sampling" a very recognizable bass line from Pink Floyd came along, but instead, an original bass line was recorded. The next section of the song, the "chorus," is the connection of our inner self with the outside world. Often, when a piece is instrumental, the artist intends for the message received to be up for interpretation. What does "Green Floyd" mean to you, and what would you like listeners to grasp from it? "Green Floyd" was born from the idea that we should consider our inner self as part of our environment. We oftentimes tend to look at the environment as something separated from us, but if we look inside (mind, consciousness, spirituality, health, etc.) and that we can understand, control, and connect with that inner self, we, in turn, will be able to connect with the outside world better. Formed in 2017, what have you noticed about your growth as a band? The band has gone from a small garage/personal project to an established proponent of a new era of music. Where can we expect your sound to go from here? Is there any envelope you won't push? Vatomico is considering the possibility of expanding its sound to a more organic sound by adding live drums to the set. However, this possible evolution must be marked by the style and production of the new material. Also, the addition of a guitarist to be able to expand the sonic possibilities is something that can happen. What's next for you? Recording more music, possible presentations at a couple of Jazz Festivals, and touring outside the U.S. Instagram Facebook

Michelle is no stranger to the studio, singing since four years old on her first national commercial for Eskimo Pie, she quickly expanded that list to include other national spots such as Zwinky Cuties, Long Island Aquarium CD (which sold over 18,000 copies), Sam's Club, Goodyear, Hertz, Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader, and more recently, Nu Skin. Michelle's latest single, "Kick It Up" dissects a love story set to catchy pop notes and irresistible melodies. With a heart full of passion Michelle descants, "Even though you're miles away, I'm going to see you today," fantasizing about getting lost in the moment together in an array of romantic scenarios. Michelle illustrates the meaning of fun through her lyrics, her captivating sound, and her ability to convey consistent meaning and joy, proving her versatility. As the song draws to a close we are left with the happy vibrations of Michelle's vocals and vibrant instrumentals as we are ushered out of the track, bodies still dancing to the infectious beat. With the chorus still ringing in our ears and the melody stuck in our heads, "Kick It Up" has us kicking and screaming for more from Michelle Fabre. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Michelle. We are ecstatic to have you here with us today. What inspired you to write "Kick It Up," and what was the process like while creating it? I was inspired to write an upbeat dance song that was lyrically positive and happy, especially with spring/summer approaching. Storywise, it's actually about a long-distance relationship leading up to a "meeting on the dancefloor." I felt like in today's current music, I don't hear lyrics about long distant relationships very often, if at all, and I wanted to make that storyline come alive to those who may not have experienced it. What keeps you so motivated throughout the process of creating? Deadlines haha... It's easy to get held back by perfectionism when creating art, but my genuine love of music and writing keeps me going. With "Kick It Up" being in the pop genre, have you ever thought about dabbling into other genres, and if so, which would you like to try? I've always been in the pop genre, but I've also grown up loving rnRnBb, rock, and country, so I try to incorporate some of those elements into my music. If I ever dabbled in another, definitely pop-rock or country rock. Many artists have the main influences that they grew up listening to. Who were some of the people that inspired you to start creating and showed that being unique is okay? My music taste is very diversified; I grew up listening to Michael Jackson, Gladys Knight, Mumford and Sons, Miley Cyrus, Janis Joplin, and Aerosmith. As I got older, I loved incorporating those old-school sounds that I grew up with and creating something new and unique. What's next for you? Performing more now that venues are opening up. I also have a new song that I'm working on called "Last Chance For Love." Instagram Facebook

The album opens with the 22-second introductory track "Let Go," comprising soft and rhythmic synth keys alongside harmonious background pads to lift the listener into Sheran Azmi's blissful and soothing r&b sounds. Moving onto the first full track, "Drifting Mantra," this groovy tune kicks off with nostalgic r&b rhythm and percussion arrangements alongside sweet and sensual synths that lift the spirit. Once Sheran Azmi's soft vocals begin raining down from above, she takes us by the hand and inspires us to have faith and believe in ourselves. This instrumental-centric track features a bright electric guitar riff and the grooviest bass licks that submerge us into the depths of r&b. The blissful and soothing tone of this song is the perfect album opener, and we're ready to see what Sheran Azmi brings next. Moving onward and upward into track number three, "Tired," a cinematic piano melody alongside effects of rain open this song on a more introspective and reflective note. While asking why that perpetual feeling of exhaustion just won't fade, suffering more as each day passes, Sheran Azmi continues to explain how she's trying her best, but it doesn't seem to be enough. The minimal instrumentals in this track allow Sheran Azmi to shine bright in the spotlight, complemented by the colorful addition of a wailing electric guitar to move the energy forward. Jumping into the fourth track, "Lights On," a similar reflective keyboard melody opens the song while Sheran Azmi expresses how it's been difficult to smile during those troubled times she's experienced. But after feeling the light once again, she slowly got to know herself a bit more and navigated her way back on her path to success. Sheran Azmi's vocals in this track grab our attention with their soothing and delicate tones, and soft r&b/electornic instrumentals perfectly keep the song deep in this relatable, fluid, and mesmerizing space. Showing her "Inner Glow" is the album's fifth track that kicks up the energy with this warm and bright Donna Summers-like feels through Sheran Azmi's passionate vocal performance alongside upbeat percussion, warm piano melodies, and subtle background pads. While reminding us of our internal and external beauty, it's clear Sheran Azmi has done some needed soul searching to reach such a positive state of mind, considering the first couple of tracks brought us into a deeply emotional space. This song is incredibly easy to listen to, and we're sure any listener will appreciate that. Jumping into the project's sixth track, "All Yours," Sheran Azmi opens this song with her downtempo and distant r&b keyboard melodies that quickly move into an upbeat and unconventional groove. This song perfectly showcases Sheran Azmi's broad artistic skillset, as her roaming and distant vocal chops alongside the drum-heavy beat peel back another layer of her artistry in the sleekest and most passionate manner. An intoxicating feeling comes with this toe-tapping tune, especially as Sheran Azmi's vocals continue serenading us with angelic and sultry tones. Onto the album's halfway track, "Top Floor," this soul-soothing tune opens with a harmonious and cinematic piano melody that drops into a downtempo r&b groove with modern drum arrangements and Sheran Azmi's breathtaking vocal stylings. While singing of her undying love for someone and experiencing the endless opportunities their love has to offer, the song slowly expands with orchestral strings to ramp up the passion and devotion. Sheran Azmi makes it clear that this rare kind of love she's experiencing is truly like no other. Moving onto the eighth track, "Revolution," this listening experience opens with broad and warm piano melodies, energetic brass elements, and downtempo r&b drums to kick things into gear. As Sheran Azmi continues preaching to be yourself and quit the illusions, she reaches the empowering hook where she flutters like a butterfly and serenades us with her entire heart and soul. There's so much emotion in each piece thus far, and we're more than impressed with Sheran Azmi's ability to leave the listener inspired and in need of a hug at the same time. Sending us into track number nine, "Big Pressure," this groovy track opens with an incredibly nostalgic and funky synth bass that livens the atmosphere in an instant. We can't get enough of the energy Sheran Azmi delivers in this foot-stomping tune; she continues singing of how no one is able to stop her and other like-minded, powerful individuals from reaching their goals. There's a certain electronic feel to this track that brings incredibly modern and exciting flairs to the album, and we're more than appreciative of the anthemic and danceable experience she offers in this track. Continuing that same energy and added electronic elements with track number ten, "Unpredictable," Sheran Azmi opens the song with this squeaky and melodic synth alongside bright electric guitar riffs and tight drum breaks. Listening to Sheran Azmi's stunning vocals, she takes this song to express the woes and frustrations she feels in a particular relationship. The added cinematic strings truly emphasize Sheran Azmi's conceptual lyrics that are bound to relate to any listener who was left waiting around by someone they love. Sheran Azmi keeps the passion and energy alive in the eleventh track, "Destined," which begins with a warm piano melody and quickly leaps into a string-heavy beat with punchy 808s and Sheran Azmi's soulful vocals. While singing of how she was digging someone's vibe, a heavy bassline gabs our attention alongside a male vocal chop that balances the song's loving and life-changing approach. The song's overall dreamy yet groovy feel is everything we need to keep our heads held high and remind ourselves that true love exists. The "Flow" expands into the album's twelfth track, which softly begins with tender r&b keys and bright, airy vocal chops. As the plucky and distorted bass lick begins thumping through our speakers, Sheran Azmi keeps our attention on the jazz-like saxophone that slowly flows through our speakers like a sonic waterfall. This ear-pleasing, smooth, and sultry instrumental helps listeners understand the depths of Sheran Azmi's sonic and instrumental influences, keeping the groove alive but in a more subtle, introspective, and relaxed manner. Maintaining that same passion and tenderness is track number thirteen, "Soul Tribe," opening with nature-filled effects alongside a spoken-word voice that vocalizes the frustrations of feeling misunderstood. The song later shifts into this dark yet upbeat atmosphere where Sheran Azmi expresses how dreamers never sleep, and she's been on the grind for quite some time. There's a sleek addition of pitched-down vocal harmonies to round out this interesting listening experience, closing the song on this deeply soulful and relatable note. Taking a spin on the album's fourteenth and final track, "Peace of Mind," this tune warmly opens with a soothing electric guitar riff alongside Sheran Azmi's dreamy vocals that sing of feeling at home in someone's presence. This is truly the ultimate modern r&b ballad that showcases Sheran Azmi's constant search for peace of mind and her impeccable instrumental vision that oozes nothing but soul and emotion. She expands on the power of love while softly carrying us to the outro and reminding her lover that she's in it for the long haul. Feed your mind, body, and soul with Sheran Azmi's breathtaking healing songs on her recent debut 14-track album, 'Aligned,' now available on all digital streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Sheran Azmi. We're thoroughly impressed with the soul, emotion, and passion within your debut album, 'Aligned.' What inspired you to create this deeply personal project? I felt inspired to turn my pain into purpose and create art so that it could be felt by humanity and generations to come. I had a deep realization I needed to go through my own personal journey to inspire and show others the way. With so much trauma in the world, I felt the desire to show people they are never alone. Message music is needed more than ever now, and I want to hold space for people to align. Did you work alongside any producers or songwriters when navigating your way through 'Aligned?' So, there were just the two of us working on the entire album. My husband, best friend, and soul mate is a genius producers/beatmaker, and I write all my own lyrics and work to make the melodies right. We work really well together during the creative process; it just flows so easily. We constantly inspire each other with musical ideas and explore different soundscapes. Is there a song from 'Aligned' that was the most difficult to create in terms of emotion? How were you able to come out strong in the end? I mean, there were a few of them that were difficult in terms of emotion as they came from such a raw, authentic place. But if I had to pick one, it would be "Lights On." "Lights On" pushed me to meet that little girl in me who knew all along what she was meant to be, who had a dream, and I was lost for so long that I wanted to apologize to her. So, it was definitely 'inner child' work that made me come out stronger in the end. It is about never losing that light that has been awakened inside of you. What emotions or thoughts did you hope to bring out in the listener when experiencing 'Aligned?' What did you want them to experience? The album is a journey. Each track has a different emotion. These multitudes of emotions helped me get aligned. You will experience escapism, sadness, pain, suffering, self-doubt, betrayal, love frequencies, empowerment, hope, faith, peace, and that we all need our soul tribe. These songs will fill your soul and will be hard to leave. I would hope these songs will trigger the listener's memories and thoughts that are related to their world and guide them in some way. Everyone is different, so they will take what they need and what resonates with them. How does the 'Aligned' album represent who you are and what you stand for? How can new listeners get to know you on a more personal level through this record? 'Aligned' represents the journey of how I came into true alignment. Aligned is when the soul and spirit are in alignment. When you are in alignment with the energy of the universe, you create magic and synchronicity in your world. Alignment is listening to your intuition to become our true selves, which is something I stand for. All the lyrics are from my life and personal experience. It represents my journey and all things falling into place, becoming aligned, and finding inner peace. I had to be vulnerable for this project to be born, and it is very personal to me, something I felt I needed to share with the world. Instagram Twitter

  • Shining A Spotlight On Safety Word, And Their Electric Release, 'Amnesia (Remixes EP)'

This synthpop duo The Safety Word, and electronic record producer Valoramous released an eclectic remix E.P. featuring six different remixes of their conceptual and punchy single "Amnesia." The song touches on the unfortunate "Amnesia" Western societies represent when navigating through geopolitical events. The new remix project features producers like 3 Tribes, Valoramous, Robodop Snei, Increment, Eckul, and The Wav A.P.S. Now let's reflect on the release "Amnesia." The track kicks into gear with the original "Amnesia" track, where a melodic and bright synth melody leaps through or speakers alongside distant and sultry synths to liven things up. Once The Safety Word's lead vocalist John Rousvanis makes his way in, he quickly shifts the atmosphere into a reflective and thoughtful listening experience as he sheds light on the meaning of gratitude and its importance. Moving on to the second remix, "Amnesia (3 Tribes Remix)," we get to hear the tech-house stylings of 3 Tribes as they open the song with the same distant synths but in a more syncopated rhythm to ramp up the complex tech-house feel. Pumping up the energy is the third remix, "Amnesia (Valoramous Festival Mix)," which takes off with more of a big room sound through an exciting 128 BPM kick that blasts through our speakers and takes us to the mainstage of our favorite electronic fests. Jumping over the E.P.'s halfway point with remix number four, "Amnesia (Robodop Snei Remix) [Radio Edit]," this remix offers a high-energy progressive house approach that kicks off with vibrant keyboard melodies and moves quickly into the punchy drums. Reaching remix number five, "Amnesia (Increment Remix)," this experience leads with the same synths but incorporates choppy, hazy, and mysterious breaks. Taking a spin on remix number six, "Amnesia (Eckul Remix)," this track begins with a slower, more reflective tempo that amps up the dark and sensual energy. Landing on the E.P.'s final remix, "Amnesia (The Wav A.P.S. Remix)," we totally step outside of the electronic realm and head into the metal rock sounds of The Wav A.P.S. through blazing rhythm guitars and intense, punchy drums. In their recent interview with BuzzMusic, they dove into the record and its making. John mentioned how collaboration was set up through Simon during the difficult times in 2021. Simon mentioned how he met Valoramous and their aims when they worked on this huge collaboration. They portrayed such amazing skills and passion for their art, but they definitely won't be holding back on the fun, that I can assure you. • Robbie Vonn Navigates Forgiveness In A New Engaging Single, “La La Life”

An explorative and dedicated artist, producer, and songwriter Robbie Vonn portrays the meaning of forgiveness from different perspectives in his emotional yet upbeat new single, "La La Life." Robbie Vonn is best known for bending and blending genres from progressive rock to electro-pop with bossa nova and flamenco hints. His artful approach, dynamic sound, and evocative lyricism have been well received by the media and fans who continuously return to experience Vonn's relatable themes. Recently releasing his harmonious and thought-provoking new single, "La La Life," Robbie Vonn teams up with an unnamed artist, most likely Juliet Lyons, who collaborated with the producer on his 2021 EP, 'Hopeless Memories.' The new release is a sonic and lyrical treat for the mind, body, and soul, traversing the challenges of forgiveness and setting someone, or yourself, free. Expanding on the new single, "La La Life," the experience begins with this deeply immersive and melodic sonic arrangement through upbeat drums, haunting background strings, the brightest acoustic guitars, and this overall radiant yet somewhat melancholy electronic feel. As the soothing vocalist begins sharing her woes with battling forgiveness and wanting to leave things behind, she carries us to the hook where Robbie Vonn drenches our speakers in minor keys and an intoxicating flamenco/electronica approach. This song is wildly engaging, from the relatable lyrics of setting someone free to Vonn's celestial and organic instrumentals/production that perfectly showcases his explorative artistic abilities. The song's hook is an ear-worm, and we're sure you'll be left chanting alongside the lead vocalist when taking this sweet single for a spin. Wipe away your woes with help from Robbie Vonn's newest single, "La La Life," now available on all digital streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Robbie Vonn. We adore the meaningful and melodic experience you've provided on your new single, "La La Life." What inspired the song's concept about the challenges of forgiveness? First, thank you for having me on your blog and for your kind words. I deeply appreciate it. About the inspiration, well, life gives you the opportunity to go through a variety of experiences. Often you do or say things that you regret a while or vice versa. You may be the recipient of those actions or words that may stay with you for some time. In the end, whatever the case is, my experience tells me that the optimal (and sometimes imperfect) solution is to learn, forgive, and move on. That's all that this song is about. Who was the featured vocalist on "La La Life?" Have you worked together before? This song was our first collaboration, and we agreed to keep it under Robbie Vonn's name. One interesting fact about "La La Life" is that some vocals were made with a virtual singer. Technology's amazing and scary at times. How would you describe the overall sound in terms of genres within "La La Life?" What sound did you want to achieve? "La La Life" started as a bossa nova composition, to which I added some elements of pop, rock, classical, and electronica to make it a bit more contemporary—or confusing, depending on who you ask. I recorded multiple versions, but in the end, I ended up with what you hear today. I made some of these versions available on Instagram and YouTube. Maybe one day I'll remix it into something else. Who knows. I just love music in most of its flavors. I am not sure I can classify it from a genre perspective, but I did not intend to put it into a specific one. How does "La La Life" contrast the theme and sound of your recent EP, 'Hopeless Memories'? What are the core differences between these two projects? The central theme of this project is life experiences. With "Hopeless Memories" and "La La Life," I have only covered unfairness, loss, fading love, and forgiveness. There is so much more to explore. The contrast is mostly on the execution in terms of music or sound and art. I have been blessed with the people I have worked with within these projects, and I'll be eternally grateful to them for turning a simple composition into a unique and extraordinary piece of art. What's next for you? I have more singles coming up this year. The songs are already written, and I'll keep experimenting with the idea of life experiences. Hopefully, more talented artists will join me in this endless exploration of lyrics, music, and art. Instagram Artist Website
