He's trying to incorporate more of a euphoric feel to the dark and melancholic production his music encaptures. As a singer/songwriter and producer, Slendo's aiming to be the primary synthesizer of his sound, and shows his artistic abilities best through "Wild Night Interlude". Slendo is keeping up a heavy and dark atmosphere within "Wild Night Interlude". He's maintaining a necessary vibrancy in the track via his vocal performance, but the production style of the track is what brings in that hazy environment. Today we are given the gift of music from the amazing Danny Bowens with his new single "Stoned & Alone". Growing up in Cape Cod, Danny Bowens has been all over the world and now finds himself in Los Angeles. "Stoned & Alone" is a sonic spell that makes you smile and feel good, even though it does have a sad undertone lyrically. Lines about “we used to smoke joints, now I just hit bowls” shows that he had a possible love interest that he shared a past time hobby of smoking weed with. Musically, the song is so uplifting. Mindwipes has hit the scene and it looks like they are going to leave a mark. Bred in their hometown of Phoenix Arizona, Mindwipes just pumped out an enticing 8 track rock record dubbed "Out Of The Ordinary". The LP is a show of rock grooves and catchy hooks through and through. All done with something of an old western vibe to it. Each song comes through as its own entity while together, all the tracks tie into each other and you end up with a great album. We love getting a chance to talk about music with our featured artists! How has the music world been treating you thus far ever since debuting your music? Hi and thank you so much for having me! Well, ever since I started out with my music, it has been important for me to have control over the whole creating process. I write, produce and release my music through my own record label and so there is quite a lot to think about, but at the same time I can make sure that the end result is exactly how I want it. I am so happy and grateful that my music has been very well received from the start. My debut single "Lost" got onto playlists such as New Music Friday and Made in Sweden (one of the biggest Spotify playlists in Sweden), picked up by some of Swedens biggest music magazines and performed live on Swedish national radio. Since then I have released four new singles and an EP. Since 2017 my music has made it onto lists over the best music made that year, and just a while ago I got a note about my new release Mind being listed as one of the Top 30 Best Songs made by Gothenburg artists in 2019! With the release of "Mind" came our fully developed perspective on who you are as an artist. Were you careful in the way you exercised "Mind" knowing that it would hold a strong impression on listeners? What were your thoughts going into the curation of this particular song? Writing for me is a way to ventilate thoughts and feelings, and to process past experiences. And for the song "Mind" there were just some things I needed to say, and sort of get out of my system. So more than thinking a lot about it, it feels like something that just comes out of me, something that needs to be created. Do you see yourself as an artist who always wants to embed important messages in their music, or do you see your music as less of a platform and more of a fun environment? That is a very good question. I think in my case these go hand in hand. Because for me, a fun environment is when I get to embed important messages in my music. And when I get messages from people who's been affected by my music and felt that it really spoke to them at an important time in their life, there is few things that can compare to that. It makes me feel that we are so connected through our emotional life. My music can be about something for me, and something completely different for someone else, depending on their current situation and inner life. And that is the most beautiful part. Congratulations on the release of your first EP "No Fear"! How do you think you approached "Mind" in a contrasting way to the tracks within "No Fear"? Thank you so much first of all! Well,I think I'm constantly looking towards creating music that feels close to my heart and fun and exciting to make in the creative process. I listen a lot to different types of music myself and get inspired by different things. So while I have my specific style and way of writing, at some point in my life I might feel very inspired by a certain type of sound, instrument, beat, or a particular feeling. Then I'll go for that and integrate it into my own style of making music. So I go very much with feelings and try to stay as close as possible to my them when creating. Where did your inspiration stem from in order to curate this instrumental track? Thx you for checking out my song. So my inspiration came from going to Ghana to do a gig with Lauryn Hill and in Spain and a few months later with the Screaming Headless Torsos I would go out to museums, market places, and nightlife; experiencing the culture. As an artist who's involved in a multitude of projects, how do you organize your inspirations and creative ideologies accordingly? I feel it’s all relative everything helps you grow. It is important to keep each individual artist music true to themselves and remember it’s not about you. Unless it’s your music and even then it’s still not about you it’s about touching people and making them feel. And speaking of being true "Igazi Panzi" is part of a full-length project that I will be releasing this later this year and in the early spring I will be releasing a tribute record to the legendary great drummer/vocalist Buddy Miles. Out of the various musical aspects, you involve yourself in, such as drumming, producing, writing/recording, which component of the music scene do you prefer over the others? I can’t really say. It’s all really producing a product in the moment.  I love all aspects both good and bad.  One hat when working on my projects which involve playing drums, singing, writing and producing but another hat when I am the musical director or just playing drums for others. And yet another hat if I am producing, writing and/or collaborating with others. You're an artist who heavily collaborates with others to execute your produced tracks! How do you find the collaboration process with other artists, and how did you find it particularly for "Igazi Panzi"? "Igazi Panzi" flowed very well and had an eclectic projected ambiance. What was the overall environment you were looking to create with this song? The environment is for people to dance. “Igazi Panzi” in particular for black people, African people, Latin people from every continent to celebrate our mark on building & creating the foundations the world. #BuzzMusic

Obediah Oleghe is an artist, rapper and singer-songwriter who creates his music under the name Diah the Poet. Having lived in Nigeria, England and Canada, Diah the Poet brings a variety of cultural influences in his music. He is known for his ability to flow between genres including Afro-pop, rap, grime, and trap. He recently released the new track “Purple Smoke,” with artists Timixzy and Menace, which falls very clearly into the rap genre. The backtrack includes a light plucking of strings combined with a trap style beat. Unlike some rap songs, the chorus includes a catchy melody that you’ll be playing in your head long after you hear the song. An English accent is prominent during two verses which gives the rappers diverse sounds. This switch between the different rappers is refreshing and provides the song with its originality. “Purple Smoke” mostly glorifies a lavish and party-filled lifestyle as the artists flaunt their wealth. Each rapper occasionally adds a sound effect in the background of the song in a style comparable to the Migos.
