  • Skyward Story Appear with Brand New Single “Home” Just Months After Album Release

Based in Baltimore, Skyward Story is a new pop-rock trio who captures the passion of rock with an energetic pop spirit in their latest single “Home”. This serves as the first release after the trio’s debut album “Reborn” came out just months ago in January 2019! Always improving their craft, “Home” is Skyward Story’s most explosive track to date. Now with multiple singles on the horizon, Skyward Story is pushing content and growing like never before. “Home” is a powerful song that builds up slowly from an intimate introduction to the full warmth and vibrancy of a pop-drenched soundscape. Complete with delicate vocal harmonies and a poetic depth, "Home" connects in a genuine and passionate manner, feeling rooted in real experiences but also presented vaguely enough to make it a song for anyone. Although the lyrics remain realistic, the soundscape continues to build up and down. “Home” is an anthem from the heart, and the way everything rises up helps reinforce the turmoil and emotion at its core. To listen loud is to feel the depth of the concept and to really share the moment with Skyward Story, ultimately gathering a level of togetherness. Overall “Home” is an incredible track, which such a great new sound! We can’t wait to hear more from Skyward Story! Listen to “Home” by Skyward Story here. Hi, Skyward Story! Thank you for chatting with us! This year has been explosive for you. What accomplishments are you proudest of thus far? Hi! It’s definitely been a wild year, we released our debut album “Reborn” and spent a lot of time on the road.  I think having our album hit the billboard charts gave us all a huge feeling of accomplishment. There’s nothing so validating as that kind of acknowledgment.  Like, yes we worked really hard on this music and we’re proud of it, but seeing that others, and so many others at that, agree, just was indescribable. Your song “Home” is so beautiful! Tell us about the sentiments behind the lyrics. What the significance of the title with the main theme of the song? Thank you so much!  “Home” is about the feeling of home in someone else, and how powerful that feeling is.  Personally, being away from home often, we feel it’s important to ground yourself in these people.  Family, friends, significant others, these are what makes a home, home. Can we expect a new music video from Skyward Story in the near future? I will say that you can expect even more new music, and with that, one of them has got to be guaranteed to have a music video, right? Do you feel that your music is an accurate depiction of who you are as a group? Do you feel ultimately connected to your listeners through your music? ABSOLUTELY!  Everything we write is real and personal because it has to be.  Even songs that aren’t specific stories, but only feelings, like “Home, are personal because our lives and experiences led us to these feelings that we had to write about and it turns out that many people feel the same as we do.  We love that our fans can really connect with our lyrics and messages. Just another example of the powerful bond of music! It was such a pleasure to have you and we can’t wait to hear more! Can you give us any hints to what we can expect from you going into 2020? ”Home” is the beginning of a new era for Skyward Story.  From here, we plan to release new music every two months, combined with tons of content surrounding each song. Which means another new jam at the beginning of 2020.  We’ve also got a lot of touring already scheduled as well. In other words, you’ll be seeing a lot of our faces next year! facebook.com/SkywardStory instagram.com/skywardstory twitter.com/SkywardStory #BuzzMusic

  • Reminder to Never Stop Growing with Benjamino Debut, “To My Future Self”

Hit us by storm, Ben Cauduro also known as Benjamino originates from Wollongong NSW. Previously used throughout Sydney as a session player. Ben is venturing out on his own as a highly-skilled multi-instrumentalist and songwriter to show us what he can do. He steams his creative flow through the inspiring work of the modern hits like Arctic Monkeys and Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino all the way to later 90s bands. Coming in the year is Benjamino’s last EP, “To My Future Self”. His debut, “To My Future Self”, it is exactly what the title suggests, a message the writer wishes to convey to himself as a writer. Wanting to retain his lust and drive for life and self-development. This is a deep message that many can relate to as life is a mystery and things can come out of nowhere, changing our paths, dreams, and endings. Self-improvement should be a journey throughout our lives not just “in our prime”. The video is playful and gets listeners an insight into the earlier life of Ben with old home videos. Lyrics like, “I’d like to send myself a message to my future to give the author more to write”. Don’t stop living. I love how he takes us back to 70s-80s, reminiscent of horns and keyboards in the band Chicago. Listen to "To My Future Self" here. Hi Ben, welcome to BuzzMusic. Thank you for creating music with such a powerful message. What inspired you to ‘send a message to yourself’? Thanks, BuzzMusic! The inspiration for the song essentially came from my grandparents. In the “OK Boomer” era I have always found my grandparents to be very progressive on social issues and very active, unlike most people their age. Because of this, I wanted to “send a message to my future self” to tell him to stay adventurous, active and engaged in the modern world as much as possible. As a multi-instrumentalist, I can hear your use of horns, keyboards, and percussion. Can you tell us what other instruments you play? Well, I also play the guitar which is very softly played on the track too, but other than that I have recently bought a mandolin. I haven’t mastered it yet but I did figure out how to play Losing My Religion so that’s plenty for now. Given your background as a session player, any works that we might recognize? Most of the acts I work with are completely different which is awesome. I regularly play with chart-topping Country artist Kora Naughton, my good friend and amazing Indie Rock songwriter Benefits, plus I’ve worked with Indie Pop bands such as Crystal Cities and Monatomic. I also play in a Frankie Valli tribute act, which is more focused on the older demographic which is lots of fun and also pays the bills! With this theme of inspiring yourself to preserve and growth, will your next pieces continue to incorporate this message? On the surface, my next few releases will be me talking about other people, but to me they still are about personal growth. Most of the songs I have written are little pieces of advice to myself. I often find that any anxieties or just things that I think about are common issues but aren’t really written about in songs, so I see that as something that is unique to my writing. Constantly nervous about your future or how others perceive you? Then listen to Benjamino! Thanks for being with us and taking us back in time. Will Benjamino continue to be a solo act or do you see yourself collaborating with others? Thanks for having me! My favourite part about doing Benjamino is that I have the option to do things myself but also have other wonderful people around me if I need help. Plus, if Father John Misty or Alex Turner wanna collab then I’m always down! FACEBOOK INSTAGRAM #BuzzMusic

  • Ava Morse Shares Her View on Social Media in Her New Single “White Space”

Don’t let her young age fool you, Ava Morse has a lot to say about social media and pop culture. Stepping on to the seen back in 2018 with her debut EP, “Close My Eyes” and six other original works. Morse incorporates strong vocals and undeniable timber to her sound. Relatable to our technologically advancing society, Ava writes about themes of positivity, confidence and how to navigate in our digitally influenced, social media world. “White Space” was produced by Daniel Martin and Devin Rodarte, a song meant to evoke strong emotions in the listener. Growing up in Generation Z, Ava Morse uses “White Space” to explain her journey. Ava Morse portrays the real truths and harms of a purely social media influenced the world, where one is expected and pressured to always show the positive things in life. Stating how “it's hard to be different because when you are different you try to be the same”. She states that these platforms can make it easy for bullies to target victims with further negativity rather than building them up. Sadly, she expresses the pain of a failed relationship in lyrics, “I thought you were different….but you're not”, one where trust is broken and influences of social media are the downfalls of their connection. She beautifully articulates how “its harder every day to block out what people say” and how we are all victims to white space. We all don’t want to portray a perfect life but it can be hard with growing expectations on social media. Listen to “White Space” here. Hi Ava and welcome to BuzzMusic. I was truly moved by your lyrics and interpretation of social media. What inspired you to write this song? Thank you! What inspired me to write White Space was when I noticed how everyone acts like everyone else. Like the lyric, “In this world it’s hard to be different cuz when you are different you try and be the same.” For me, I am really bold with singing, acting, my personal style and swag. That sets me apart from everyone else. Specifically, at school that tends to be a threat and people don’t treat me nice because of it. In the past, I have found my self trying to be like everyone else due to school and also social media. Now I try embrace my uniqueness and surround myself with positive people. This song is about that journey of me noticing how hard it is to be your self and fit in. Where do you draw your inspiration from? Any specific personal experiences or artists? I draw my inspiration primarily from my experiences. I use singing and songwriting as an outlet for me to express my emotions so whatever I’m feeling I try and sing it out. My songs are like stories with a beat! Out of your 7 songs, which has been the most challenging to write and why? Songwriting comes pretty easy to me. Once I have an idea of what I want to write about the lyrics just flow. But I do get stuck on a line or 2 from time to time. But on the song Close My Eyes, I wrote one song and a really liked the verse, then I had just a chorus of another idea. I loved the chorus but couldn’t think of the lyrics. Then my producer gave me the idea to mash together the verse of the other song with this chorus and then I came out with Close My Eyes! Your vocals are clearly well developed and soulful, have you received any formal training? Yes, I have trained with vocal coaches since I was six years old. I train with my coach on a weekly basis and when I have a live performance two to three times a week. I have a vocal coach that specializes in pop music and another coach for musical theatre. Thank you for giving us this powerful message and musical journey. Where do you see your musical career going in the coming year? I see my career and fan base growing! Focusing on more live performances and hoping to be the opening act for artists on tour. instagram.com/avamorseofficial facebook.com/avamorseofficial twitter.com/missavamorse #BuzzMusic

  • Kristen Rae Bowden Is a Name You'll Be Hearing All over 2020!

Kristen Rae Bowden is an amazing artist who is setting stones for herself as a newcomer in this industry. She released an immaculate album titled “Language and Mirrors” with 11 memorable tracks on this project. Kristen Rae Bowden doesn’t plan on being a temporary hitmaker. With the type of music she has been consistently releasing, we’re sure her status in the music industry is going to remain elite and long-term. That’s if, she continues keeping the ball rolling as she has been! For some artists, it takes quite a while for me to fall immensely in love with, however with Kristen Rae Bowden, she has this way of attracting you instantly into her vibe, attractive brand, and trailblazing music. We’re almost sure of her ability to captivate a crowd, therefore we are certain that the traction she gains will continue to grow inevitably by the years. Kristen Rae Bowden is an artist you can’t compare to any other artist. She stands in her own lane, separate from the overcrowded industry, yet manages to stand out from the rest. She’s a highly addictive individual who you will find yourself subconsciously wondering what her next move will be or when her next hit will be released. Kristen Rae Bowden is a force to be reckoned with, and we’re excited to see what this powerhouse artist has in store for everybody in the upcoming new year. Welcome to Buzzmusic Kristen Rae Bowden, let’s talk about your album “Language And Mirrors”. What did this project mean to you as an artist? “Language and Mirrors” is my first album, the first group of songs I ever put out there for the world to hear. Personally, this is monumental... it’s an ending of sorts, as the achievement of that long-held goal, to make a record! But mostly it’s a beginning, an introduction. Aside from its significance as my debut, “Language and Mirrors” is an exploration of the many faces and reflections of love. My relationships in my twenties seemed like a hall of mirrors... fragmented but revealing. These songs are honest musings on my most vulnerable, emotional moments as a young woman. I will always be able to look back at the person I was then, because of this music. As an artist and a human being, this means the world to me. Was the arrangement of the tracklist intentionally put in chronological order? If so, what was the motive behind it? I spent a lot of time ordering the tracks for this album, so thank you for asking! Haha... no, the tracks aren’t in chronological order according to when I wrote them. In fact, I wrote track 1 in 2015 and track 8 in 2005, just to give you an idea. However, I did want the songs to be chronological in an emotional way, to tell a story lyrically and musically. Even though I wrote them over the span of a decade, and they’re about many different relationships (romantic, familial), I wanted them to have the arc of a cohesive narrative. “Language and Mirrors” starts out with a triumphant song, ebbs and flows through some longing, defiance, anger, and revelry, and finishes with a poignant ballad that sounds very much like an ending. (in my life, it really was). I arranged them to make them feel, altogether, like the story of one relationship, which ends at the end of the record. Which song off “Language And Mirrors” was the most challenging for you as an artist to create and why? “My Father’s Daughter” was the most challenging song for me to create. Well actually, half of it was easy... I woke up in the middle of the night and wrote the first and second verse and the first chorus, exactly as it is, like from a dream. When I read it the next morning, my first thought was wow! My second thought was, how the hell am I gonna finish this?! I hope I dream about the rest of it tomorrow night! Haha. When I write part of something I really like, sometimes I freak myself out about finishing it, because I don’t want to muck it up. When that happens, writing becomes an exercise in really letting go of my thoughts and anxieties, thinking deeply about what I want to say, and then not thinking about it at all. I liken it to leaving the door open, so the words can find me. If I work too hard on finding them, my left brain takes over and the results seem forced and awkward. With “My Father’s Daughter”, the rest of the words did come in, and I’m proud of the song’s cohesiveness. Coincidentally it was also the hardest song to record because I wanted to do it in one take, it’s the most emotional song for me to sing, and I didn’t leave myself many places to take a breath! I love how it turned out in the end. All 11 songs are amazing! But we must ask, which is your personal favorite and why? Thank you! “Solid Ground” is my personal favorite. I just love the melody line of “oh my heart like the fallin’ maple leaves...”. I sing it to myself sometimes without meaning to, especially in autumn. It kind of haunts me in a lovely way. “Solid Ground” has some of my favorite sonic ingredients: sawing Americana Fiddle with electric guitar power chords, rhythmic piano, folky mandolin, rock drums, and stacked vocal harmonies. I grew up in the mountains, and bluegrassy musical elements will always sound like home to me, but my heart lives in rock music. This song satisfies both. I also love that my brother Richard Bowden played the sawing fiddle, and my sister Amy Bowden sang harmonies with me. It’s pretty awesome when it’s truly a family affair. How would you describe your creative songwriting process for this album? Were there any specific moments that you found challenging? When I’m feeling inspired or upset about something (or both), I go to my piano and just sit there and doodle around until I play a little something that I like. Once I find a piece of music that I want to play again, I do. I play it over and over until a few words come with a little bit of a melody. It starts there, and if I’m lucky, blooms quickly into a song. That’s how I wrote most of the songs on this album. When I was writing this record I didn’t have a lot of “tools in my toolbox” to get me out of a writer’s block situation. I abandoned a lot of ideas. Now that this record is out, I’m experimenting with new methods of finishing songs that don’t finish themselves. These songs mostly came out whole, and I didn’t think they needed a lot of editing or tinkering. I mostly just left them alone, for better or worse. One of the songs, “It Isn’t About You”, I wrote as a stream-of-consciousness poem first, before I had any music involved. So in that case, I had all the lyrics, and I needed to find music to fit. That was a bit of a challenge. I think that’s why that song doesn’t have a defined verse and chorus. I like how it turned out, though! And I think as a songwriter, whenever you find that you can write in a different way, that’s a good thing, ‘cause you’re gonna need it in case you get stuck. More “tools for your toolbox” :) This decade is finally coming to a close and a new one is opening, what are you expecting from yourself in 2020? In August of this year, I recorded the beginnings of my next album with a new group of musicians. I’m ridiculously excited about the results. So the first thing I’ve got my eyes on is finishing my next project and coming up with a good business plan for its release. Speaking of business plans, I always expect myself to continue learning about the rapidly changing music industry, so I can craft smart, creative ways to share my music with the people who will want to hear it. It’s a whole separate thing than creating the music itself. I want to do a solo tour in 2020 and play my songs stripped down to just a piano and me. I like that they sound good naked. Haha! And above all, as usual, I challenge myself to become a better songwriter. It’s a new decade, and I’m in a new place in my life. In many ways, I’m a different person than when I wrote “Language and Mirrors.” The world certainly seems different to me. I want to comment on what I see happening around me, learn to write stories that are not my own, and continue to lay bare my heart for anyone to listen to. kristenraebowden.com facebook.com/KristenRaeBowden instagram.com/kristenraebowden twitter.com/BowdenRae #BuzzMusic

  • The Soulful and Exciting Cupid Valentino and the Lovely Imperfections

If their name isn’t catchy enough, Cupid Valentino and the Lovely Imperfections is a hip-hop/neo-soul band from Seattle, Washington who produces a unique homegrown sound from these UFO’s giving you a flavor mash they like to call “Out of Space Ish”, a sonic buffet of to feed your appetite for those who love good music and an abstract art of musical compositions that rival the best pop and hip hop artists and producers in music. Sounds dope right? This band is all about musicality as one of their members grew up in a musically inclined household, almost to the point where both of his parents were living legends themselves. With amazing Mixtape and EP releases, Cupid Valentino And The Lovely Imperfections has positioned themselves to follow down the path of greatness their iconic family members have left behind. A standout song this band released that had us in complete awe was the single “Bad Monday” which can be found on Apple Music! They give you this feel-good sensation you can’t receive from any other typical artist! Completely unorthodox and far from ordinary, Cupid Valentino And The Lovely Imperfections has done such an amazing job at gaining traction and elevating their artistry. It’s like their music gets better and better each release. Some artists get stuck in one sound and one spot, however, Cupid Valentino And The Lovely Imperfections knows how to steer clear from fluctuating at different rates, but remaining consistently at the top. This band is a trail-blazing collective that will continue to push the envelope towards success. We are just waiting on what’s next from this iconic band, and we’re sure 2020 holds great promises for them! Listen to Cupid Valentino and the Lovely Imperfections here. Welcome back to BuzzMusic Cupid Valentino And The Lovely Imperfections. Tell us, how has this year been for you overall? What has been the most monumental moment in your career thus far? Thanks for having us again! Yeah, this year has been huge! We definitely can say we experienced a lot. Gotten more exposure for the last few projects since that last time we spoke even ventured into doing movies Definitely can say life has been good this year looking forward to 2020 and what’s to come! Talk to us about your releases this year! What did you guys want to showcase differently in your music this year prior to the year before? We set out to take more chances not to be comfortable with the success we’ve gotten and to have a song in every category we can be involved in I’m sure I’ll say this a lot but basically to expand our movement to be better than we were. We tried to focus on being more well rounded musically than doing the same thing over and over. We did a lot more R&B, Pop and Punk (Red Velvet Memories) (0-100-007) (Bad Monday (Heartbreaker) songs we did other than usual ”industry standard” hip hop but still kept pushing boundaries and showing we weren’t just playing it safe. Which song do you feel best represents the artistry your band upholds? “Bad Monday” only for the fact that we tried to stay as less complicated as possible not to have a lot of confusion  just a simple beat and piano and lyrics no autotune or crazy FX just good ole fashion lyricism How would you detail most of your songwriting behind songs like “Bad Money” and “0-100-007”? Did you face any challenges during the creative process? Not really both songs were records that came easily. Bad Monday was fun just for the fact that it was a song that felt like being in a cipher and just battling verbally for fun with the team and just showing no slippage when it came to rapping. 0-100-007 was more of a motivational speech type beat.  During that process it was therapeutic. I can speak for the band by saying I believe in karma and that what you put out, you get back. The message is don’t let others discourage you and don’t get caught up in the unnecessary drama.  Leave that to the other side and keep doing you cuz. What’s the main message you hope gets translated through your music? Like I said before I’ve always felt that whatever energy you put out in the world you get back. Work hard and stay positive, never let negativity determine how you feel or what others might think. If you keep your head up and stay humble good things will come. I’ve always said “if you ain’t got people hating on ya, you ain’t working hard enough” Also have fun life is too short! What’s next for the Cupid Valentino And The Lovely Imperfections? We have the A.G.T.M.C.T.A.E. (All Good Things Must Come 2 An End) LP Coming Early 2020. We have some solo projects in the works with Bigfoot and Artillary plus doing a lot of shows and creating visuals in the Summer so be on the lookout for all the new content and just expand the movement and be better than we were before as musicians and humans. Big Thangs Coming next year can’t wait! instagram.com/dablackhansolo twitter.com/samsonznb #BuzzMusic

  • A Magical Artist with a Mystical Formula; Sam Louis

In this day and age of the music industry, artists need something that will help them stand out from their competitors. Especially since the market is constantly flooded with new music. Therefore, Sam Louis has his upper advantage when it comes to standing out. It's rare for artists to have the ability to infuse dreamy pop/Alt-rock records with layers of lyrical and emotional depth. Sam Louis is one of those artists while still getting you on your feet and onto the dance floor. Sam Louis is an incredible artist and his musicality and mastery are unmatched. You can’t help but wonder how does he do it? The magic he put into his work-ethic to create sensational music is quite mesmerizing and the quality of his songs complements this. Sam Louis doesn’t have to do the most to capture an audience. He naturally does it the moment you hear his music, it’s so gravitating and compelling you just find yourself naturally absorbed to the sound. Sam Louis is truly a Gem that we’re blessed to have found. He is one of authenticity and a unique element to the music industry that we can’t help but admire. With two groundbreaking releases that demonstrate this, “Chasing The Rush”, and “This Love”. We’re almost guaranteed Sam Louis will be the name of the new year! Listen to Sam Louis here. Welcome back to BuzzMusic Sam Louis! What inspired you to pursue music? Do you recall any of your early influences or inspirations? Hey BuzzMusic, thanks for listening! My name is Sam Louis, I’m a local Toronto pop/alt-rock artist originally from Thunder Bay On. As a kid I was always influenced by music, whether it was Much ON Demand blaring in the background while I tried to break down Sloan and JET guitar solos or my mom singing and playing the piano while my grandfather played mandolin downstairs, music was all around me. Inspiration was never hard to find for me, I love writing and learning about what makes people tick. Music is medicine, it's something I always say. That’s my mission statement whenever I’m creating music. When I was growing up, music was a way for me to connect to a greater medium. Certain artists really resonated with me, from The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Michael Jackson, Bryan Adams, Eric Clapton…to Billy Talent, Sum 41 and Fall Out Boy. Music allowed me to escape if I needed to, hide, fight, love. It gave me courage and release, it's a healer, it's an answer if you have questions. It's so much and means so many different things to different people. I wanted to be apart of that, for as long as I can remember I've wanted to be apart of the movement that is music. If I can inspire/influence someone with one of my records, that's enough to keep me going. Let’s talk more in-depth about your music! You released two groundbreaking singles this year. “Chasing The Rush” and “This Love”. Which do you think best represents you as an artist and why? Thanks so much, Chasing The Rush is a song that I’ve been wanting to write since I was a kid. I love its message and I think it really gives off the energy that you expect from it. This Love is more of an anthem that I and many of my listeners can stand by. It speaks more broadly than Chasing The Rush and I think it’s designed to reach further and give a more introspective look inside while still allowing more listeners to connect to it on an international scale. What was your inspiration for writing “This Love”? In what ways were you able to personally relate to the lyrics behind this single? This Love is definitely one of the most emotional tracks I’ve released to date. The song was inspired by a past relationship that was inconsistent and chaotic. It’s almost a cry for help, even though the relationship is falling apart, the one thing that remains is the subconscious love we both shared. These lyrics poured out of me when I was working in Los Angeles with Shayan. They represent a weakness that I usually don’t get to show in my lyrics and that’s what I think makes This Love so relatable. It's the most vulnerable I’ve ever been on a record, an anthem about not giving up on something you believe in. What has been the most exciting moment of your career so far and in what ways has it pushed you to continue forward? One of the most exciting moments of my career was being nominated for a Toronto Independent Music Award last year. It was a big honor and a great assurance that the music we’re creating is finally being heard by the public. As an artist, I find the best moments are when your music has these opportunities to reach new ears and your sound begins to spread wider than you could have previously imagined. Your video to “This Love” was amazing! How was the creative process behind it? Means a lot, I’m honored you like the video. The filming experience for This Love felt like something from a movie. It was a little different this time around than my last music videos. Usually, I’m flying out to Los Angeles to film/work with my sister's production company SPACED VISUALS, but this time we kept the filming back home, up north here in Canada. The team on This Love was out of this world, It was filmed by the talented Aj Astle of Roadhouse Productions, getting to have a video as important as this one filmed on home turf was pretty amazing. We filmed at 3 beautiful locations throughout Toronto, my favorite scene to shoot, which also was the hardest to clean up afterward was the shower scene… After gathering the footage we needed here in Canada we then sent the shots off to Los Angeles where Jordan Lundsford and Angelica edited and pieced it all together. This Love was the first video of mine to get a full international collaboration, they’ll definitely be more to come. What can we expect from you Sam Louis in 2020? This 2019/2020 year is going to be a big developmental one. I’ve been working with many producers and artists this summer writing and creating new music and we’re currently in the process of bringing it all to life. We’re working hard at building a cohesive and unified sound across the board. We just had a big release showdown in Los Angeles and we’re gearing up for another big show in my hometown of Thunder Bay this Christmas. The new year will bring a new second single that will definitely get you in a more groovy mood. There are also about 5 other songs currently in development that will be featured in an all-new ep, all pouring out later this 2020. facebook.com/SamLouisMusic twitter.com/sammiggz instagram.com/samlouismusic #BuzzMusic

"Back to the Highway" was the first single to release, as I felt it had such an uplifting feel to it. To me, this song makes me want to jump in the car, roll down the windows and enjoy life. I wanted the first single to be upbeat and one that might make people stop and think, "well this is a fun song". “Get Back Up Again” is so powerful and uplifting! What inspired this song? What feelings do you hope wash over your listeners when they hear it? WOW! Thank you for this! While all the songs are special, this one even more so to me. When I originally wrote this song with Anthony Fiddler, I was writing it for me. We live in a world that is filled with so many wonderful things to do and see, while at the same time trying to be the best we can be. We are all trying to be the best friend, student, employee, partner, musician and sometimes it's hard to be all these things and something falls flat. I wrote this song with Anthony surrounding the idea that it's okay. Things are going to fall and you are going to get knocked down, but just get back onto that horse. I hope listeners feel a sense of relief in a way knowing that we all have these moments. How did the overall production for this EP go? Did it come out how you initially imagined? Initially, I sat down with the producer Anthony Fiddler from Fiddler productions to review song selection. This portion of the project was very important to me, as this was the first release I wanted the songs to be a reflection of who I am and the artist I want to be. Once we had selected the songs, I LOVE the process of seeing how a song takes shape and forms when adding additional musicians, instrumentation and the end result of Anthony and I working together. It is an AMAZING process and it turned out better than I had imagined! How does your hometown influence who you are as an artist? Do you feel like you will fully be able to thrive there? Having been born and raised in South Africa and now living my later life in Vancouver, I feel I have perspective and life experience to pull from in my music from different areas of the world. The style of music in South Africa also influenced my musicality and voice that I love! Now in Vancouver, there is a community of musicians and artists in Country music that I am so happy to be apart of. With that being said, I cannot wait to meet other artists from around North America and the world to learn and grow from. Thanks for chatting with us! We love hearing new music from you. What can you tell us about your upcoming cover of “Joy To The World”? Can we expect a country flair? Thank you so much for chatting with me again and selecting me, I love being apart of the BuzzMusic family! "Joy to the World" is a cover of the original holiday classic. You can most definitely expect a country flair and we have added in some traditional choral music as well, an amazing blend! It is fun and upbeat and I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I did making it! instagram.com/justinelynnmusic #BuzzMusic

  • Brains and Bars, Machgang Is on His Way to the Top

Machgang is a 20-year-old upcoming sensation all the way from Chandler, Arizona. Although fairly new to the industry with only one release, he acquired 100k streams and his new single “Bands” which is set to debut at the end of November. Not only is this young artist an amazing musician, but he’s also well-rounded and diverse when it comes to being a jack of all trades! That’s right, this triple threat is also in school studying Electrical Engineering. Brains and talent, how could you not be a fan of him? MachGang's music hits you hard with a punch and the intensity is just on point. MachGang's lyrics are catchy with a witty approach. He knows how to get the crowd hype while still swagging the beat out. It’s most noticeable in his record “Get Out”. This song was the epitome of classic rap in it’s truest form. This record fused together with the raw art form of lyricism while keeping the contemporary trap style served for a huge hit in the making. Machgang can not only go bar to bar with most of the rappers in the market today, but he gives you a throwback vibe with how skillful his cadence and delivery are. After his single “Get Out” received so much traction, Machgang decided it was best to take music seriously and has a lot more coming for him in the future so stay tuned! Listen to MachGang's music here. Welcome back to BuzzMusic MachGang! We are so happy to have you as one of our break out artists of 2019! Tell us about your year! Thanks for bringing me back, but this year has been a pretty good year for me musically so far. I spent the beginning of the year debating whether I would take a shot at music and release a song. To now having fans asking me to release more music and for around 200k+ streams on all platforms and having interviews like these. Knowing “Get Out” was your first single you’ve ever released, what was the initial vision you had for this record? My initial vision with my song “Get Out” was to be my shot in the dark. I don’t really know what I was expecting, but I love what ended up happening and hopefully, I can keep it up and get bigger. How would you describe your songwriting approach to “Get Out”? How I would describe my approach to writing the lyrics to Get Out was to be as honest as possible and explain my feelings and emotions to how life was treating me during that time period. In what ways does “Get Out” represent who MachGang is? Get Out repents MachGang to the fullest extent. I’m tired of being in a situation of being dependent on others and then being used and mistreated because of my lack of money. So I want to get out of that entire system and be able to just live normally. Let’s talk about your upcoming music! We hear you have a new single debuting at the end of Ya, I have a lot more music coming out imma take it one step at a time though and make sure I think its all quality because I’ll take quality over quantity any day. But my new release on November 22nd is called Bands. It’s about honestly my push for trying to further my music career, as I’m not doing this all for anything. So stay tuned for that and go listen to it on all platforms. What’s next for you in 2020, MachGang? What’s next for me in 2020 is a lot more songs. I also will be performing at a Lil Yachty concert in February so that will be big for me. I’m also hoping by the end of next year, I will have released an album, and become a much bigger artist. instagram.com/machgang1 #BuzzMusic

Learning more about what it takes to be a successful artist in today's Industry. One of my biggest accomplishments besides traveling to do shows was going to New York to speak with label reps. Dreaming of things like this an actually seeing it come true is one of the greatest feelings.
