Born and raised in a mixed cultured household (Panamanian and American) in Brooklyn NY, a spotlight stealer was born. Singer/songwriter Rozetta Marie is a confident and much-needed addition to the music industry. Rozetta Marie is currently focused on her upcoming album "Geminii Life". Much like her multiple Gemini personalities, her sound speaks to a wide variety of listeners and genres of music, such as hip-hop, R&B, pop, and even a little soulful alternative rock. Her voice can go from a sultry Anita Baker to a raspy sexy Jasmine Sullivan, to a hardcore seductive Rihanna, and then when you think you’ve heard it all, she hits you with a fire rap flow. Her lyrics are clever and expressive, her look is enticing, and her voice is hypnotic. “Geminii Juice” is a versatile track that features a smooth R&B aura, Rozetta Marie’s soulful vocals, melodic bars, and a well-fitting rap delivery. Whether she’s weaving through catchy verses or the addicting hook, Rozetta Marie’s powerhouse vocals remain strong over top of the heavy backbeat. “Geminii Juice” is a track all about how mesmerizing, ambitious, and inspiring Rozetta Marie is. Her quirky rhymes will leave you singing along to every bar and “Geminii Juice” features a hook that will guarantee a second listen. We welcome this budding songstress into the BuzzMusic Family with open arms and we can’t wait to see what she delivers next! Check out “Geminii Juice” here and read more below in our exclusive interview with Rozetta Marie! Welcome to BuzzMusic Rozetta Marie! You give off a really confident aura through your music! Is this a skill you've developed over time or has it come naturally to you? Thanks! I would say both. I've always had a natural gift to sing and write songs ever since I was a young child. I actually started out dancing professionally in modern theatrical dance with NDI (the National Dance Institute) by Jacques D'Amboise, in the 3rd grade, which lasted for about five years or so (performing at Madison Square Garden, and Lincoln Center in NYC). By the time I was in 7th grade, I attended a performing arts school for Junior High, where I wrote my first song and sang it in front of my first real audience, my class. That's when I realized I loved vocal art and writing more than dance. My parents then enrolled me in a performing arts school outside of regular school (Brooklyn Conservatory of Music), where I attended weekend classes for piano, individual voice, chorus, and acting. With the chorus, I performed at Lincoln Center and BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music) for NDI's dance productions. I even went to a performing arts camp. Lol. By High School, I became the girl known for writing songs for people on the block. I also joined several singing groups along the way before I finally stepped out as a solo artist. In addition to all of the formal training I received to nurture my natural talents, my mom also has a beautiful voice and sang in church, where I also sang in the choir; and my dad was a part time professional jazz musician (skilled in several instruments). Overall, between my natural abilities that were obviously passed down from my parents, formal training, and priceless life experiences in this industry, I finally found my sound, which is a combination of singing and rapping. In a male-dominated industry, what sets you apart as a female rapper and artist? I'm actually more of a singer than a rapper. But, I see how my current single, Geminii Juice can make people think the opposite. I believe what sets me apart is my wide-ranged versatility. Everyone tells me that my sound is unique. I accept that. I'm a half Hispanic, half American, dark-skinned, thick body framed girl that loves to sing styles of music from rock to hip hop to R&B, and even pop. My voice can literally sound like a different person in each song. People often ask me who does my background vocals, and are usually shocked when I tell them all the voices are me. I'm a true Gemini. Which makes me like a chameleon in this industry. I can fit in anywhere but still, stand out. In addition, being a military vet, I've always challenged men, showing them I can do anything they can do. Lol. Plus, I'm a true Brooklyn girl. So, this being a male dominated industry doesn't bother me at all. I love a good challenge! "Geminii Life” with a smooth R&B mood. Is this theme carried throughout the album or does it remain versatile? Geminii Life the album will remain versatile. People relate being a Gemini with have two faces. My album will illustrate multiple faces. I always tell people I have countless personalities. You'll be able to hear my versatility in both my vocals and genres of music. What can you tell us about your upcoming project “Gemini Life”? We can’t wait to hear more! Gemini's are so misunderstood. When you ask someone their sign and they say Gemini, people tend to get uncomfortable or throw a side-eye. I can't speak for all Geminis. But, for me Geminii Life the album will give you an insight into who I really am in life and love. The album will show versatility in both vocals and music styles. There will be something for everyone to enjoy. So, stay tuned! Connect with Rozetta Maria: www.Instagram.com/rozettamariesings www.Twitter.com/ozettamarieent #BuzzMusic

What are you most proud of thus far in your music career? Hi And thanks! Well the thing that I'm most proud of my music career is that when I first started uploading my songs, weren't that good, they were a little bit out of time, and drums weren't that cool. But now that I've been practicing a lot, my songs are getting better and that's the thing I'm most proud because I proposed myself to get better no matter what. We’re completely captured by your new song “Even If I”! Was this your first time working with Soul? Your styles compliment each other remarkably well! Yes, it was!, she used to be my classmate last year, and when we were at school I used to hear her singing, and now that I started my music career I wanted her to be part of it. We feel like you put a lot of thought and integrity into the sonics in “Even If I” Can you tell us the overall concept you were hoping to achieve? Well, it was first dedicated to my dad, because he works a lot and I rarely see him and when he is at home, he isn't in the mood to talk or he's just to stressed that he just gets mad at me with a simple thing. We know that you're a lover of integrating a variety of elements into your music. Would you ever incorporate contrasting genres into your music, or do you think it would ruin the type of sound you're attempting to reach? Yes I do want to contrast genres in my music, if you check out my song "I Need You By My Side" I contrasted Progressive house and a little bit of Rap, and surely I'm going to do it again, maybe a change of genres in my music it will make a good impression. What's the next move for you artistically? Are you playing any shows in the near future to promote “Even If I”? Honestly, I would like to play a show promoting my new single, but I don't have enough audience to do it, and if I do it, I will need some help to make the show. Listen to “Brooklyn” here and read more with Sasha Prendes below! Welcome to BuzzMusic Sasha! We're so excited about your new single "Brooklyn"! Tell us more about the creation of the song! Hi, thank you so much for having me! I am so grateful and excited to be releasing new music and visuals! It's been a lot of fun. I wrote this song after my first time exploring Brooklyn. I had been introduced to someone from the neighborhood who had such a "Brooklyn" way about him- I immediately went home and wrote a song about my experience. Brooklyn is a beautiful and multicultural community founded on hard-working people who immigrated over to America in search for a better life. I love the high energy as well as the small-town vibes within each neighborhood. I wrote the song acoustic originally and then turned it into a more pop/hip-hop type record. It's a positive, fun-loving, romantic song that I wrote about an amazing place that I now call home! We found "Brooklyn" to be incredibly pure and honest. As listeners, we feel connected to you and your story in the song. Is it hard for you to expose your honest and true side to your listeners through your music? All of my music is from the heart. I have truly put my emotions and inner feelings out there through my music and I believe people appreciate that. The honesty that comes through my lyrics give me a sense of liberation, relief, and community because I know other people experience similar things in life and can relate heavily to my music. I sing about love, relationships, hard times, addictions, independence, equality, and try to capture moments and freeze them in time through song. Being myself is the only thing I know how to be and I am grateful to have music as an outlet for self expression. We love the air of authenticity you bring to your music. How do you feel you come off to the majority of your listeners, as an artist? Thank you, I like to keep it real. I feel my listeners get into the story with me. Each song I am telling a story and painting a picture with my lyrics. I think it's fun to put myself in other songs especially if the story resonates with a personal experience of my own. I think the power is in the words. If the story is real- your listeners will know and will feel it too. Do you feel like you face any predominant challenges in the music scene? What kind of challenges have you faced that have ultimately shaped you as an artist today? I have an incredible team of hardworking people in my corner who mentor, work with me, challenge me, inspire me, and look out for me. I have been taken advantage of in a plethora of ways since being in the music industry however, I am grateful for those experiences for making me smarter, stronger, and ultimately recognize deception from far away. I have learned to trust my instincts and if it doesn't feel right, it most likely isn't right. Thanks for chatting with us! How has performing been lately? Are you planning on playing more shows in the near future? Of course!! Thank you! I have been doing shows all this year and I am loving it!! I have a new band as well who is amazing and I am so grateful they have entered my life! I have many shows in the near future especially throughout the holidays. • Chompchomp’s Debut Album “Architect” Provides Nine-Track Playlist Of Pure Bliss

Bobby Mairone is a talented electronic music producer from New Jersey. Professionally known by the moniker Chompchomp, Bobby creates ambient soundscapes inspired by his influences San Holo, DROELOE, and Said The Sky. With two EP’s and one full-length album out now, Chompchomp is always releasing new content. He is currently working on his third EP, set to be released on October 1! Chompchomp’s debut album “Architect” was released this past May and has seen nothing but success from the offset. “Architect” comes in the form of a nine-track album, compiled of increasingly creative and blissfully ambient EDM beats and soundscapes – each one a little more unique and interesting than the last. Beginning with the mellow and hypnotic tones of “Come Inside, It’s Raining” , the music fills the room with equal parts delicacy and grit, showcasing both a deep running sense of artistry and a clear professionalism and knowledge when it comes to electronic music production. There are journeys within each of these compositions, and the details and pauses, the weight contrasted by the lightness, all add to the experience – helping make this entire album no less than a dream to lose yourself within. When it comes to soundscape design, “Architect” calls out for well-crafted individuality. Even from the opener to the second track “Riverfront”, eclecticism roams free, fusing distorted retro tones with freely meandering melodies and decidedly experimental layers. “Cyanic” hits with impact, immersing its listener and taking over the room. Categorically best experienced at volume. Contrast kicks in brilliantly throughout “Bayshore”, moments of quiet and space are blown out of the water by subsequent build-ups and anticipations. The alternative electronic vibes scream out for you, and still, Chompchomp stylishly incorporates numerous moments of calm. The pace moves from calming to hard-hitting in “Safari”, lifting you up in the process and reminding you of the euphoric qualities of well-captured distortion and bass and beats in the heat of the moment. The album moves along to “Ensorcell” which once again showcases Chompchomp as an extremely versatile and creative producer with a party organic soundscape, unlike anything we’ve heard before. “The Void” comes in with a beautifully soulful yet industrially soaked piece of ambiance. Meanwhile, the music builds, gathering momentum in subtle, skillful ways.“Biblioklept” follows and hits with a very different level of mystery. Still, though, that set-up sounds perfectly in tune with the threads of identity and purpose that run throughout the playlist. “ Architect” comes to a conclusion with “Strange Places”, Chompchomp creates a wave of warmth, a moment of absolute escapism, of darkness and clarity intertwined and we’re sad to hear it come to an end. It’s refreshing, to say the very least, and it’s easily worth more than a few streams throughout the coming months and years. “Architect” comes with a whole new streak of talent, intention and unstoppable creativity from producer Chompchomp. Versatility is key, and this project has it mastered. Be sure to keep up with Bobby Mairone and his musical endeavors! Check out “Architect” here and read more with Chompchomp below in our exclusive interview! Welcome to BuzzMusic Chompchomp! Can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers? How did you go about choosing your stage name? What’s up!? My name is Bobby Mairone, and I produce electronic music under the alias Chompchomp. I’m 22 years old and I’m from southern New Jersey. I was originally inspired my Marshmello so I wanted a sort of cutesy name like his. Honestly, Chompchomp was the first name I thought of. It’s catchy and easy to remember. How was the production of your latest album "Architect"? Did your initial vision for the album end up executing as you thought it would? “Architect” was actually my Senior Project in college. I graduated from the University of Tampa with a BFA in Digital Arts. Along with the songs, I created the artwork and filmed two music videos. I wanted the album to have a lo-fi vibe. I’m really happy with how it all turned out. "Safari" was that type of track that pulsates with energy! What kind of vibe were you going for when curating the track? The first few songs I made for “Architect” were slower, chiller tracks. I wanted one or two songs on the album to contrast that. It started with the handpan loop that I found. For some reason, it reminded me of a jungle hence the name “Safari.” What can you tell us about your EP dropping October 1? We can’t wait to hear more! I experimented with glitchy textures and distortion in sound design. I wanted to incorporate these elements into my sound more. My friend Gabi Roque sang on of the tracks too. “Tranquil Wave” drops October 1st and I can’t wait for everyone to hear! Thank you so much for chatting with us! Do you have any upcoming events or shows in support of the brand new EP? No shows lined up yet but I’m moving to Philly soon, and I’m going to try to get my foot in the door at different venues. Big things coming my way! Thanks for having me! @chompchompofficial

  • BuzzMusic Exclusive: Catching Up With The Flavians

Welcome to BuzzMusic The Flavians! We’re really happy to be featuring your song “Eloise”. It’s beautiful and catchy, but also incorporates an integral message within. Can you explain to our readers the truth that is embedded within the track? Thanks! Lyrically, the song revolves around the inner monologue of a girl who is nostalgically looking back to her childhood and remembering a time that was a lot more simple than the present. Eloise is actually the name of the main character’s grandmother who played an important role in her upbringing. The video runs chronologically through three stages of the characters life and it was shot between Ohio and Berlin by our good friend Tatianna Peckham. How does it feel to have over 300,000 streams and be played on radio stations around the world? It is lovely that people are listening to our songs from all over the world, it is quite a trip! We’re still broke but the best thing is that we’re seeing more and more people that we don’t know at our shows and sometimes, people say that they’re there because they discovered us on Spotify. Who has had the biggest influence on your life musically thus far? Can you describe the impact this particular individual has had in terms of your new song “Eloise”? It might be a little obvious to say when listening to Eloise but recently, we’ve been on a bit of a Beatles bender. They’ve proven as a band that anything is possible and we’re trying to channel a bit of that optimistic energy that they all seemed to possess. Individually, we’re into completely contrasting music and sometimes, this rubs off in the way that we approach writing. Especially Joakim, he is a huge Dave Mathews Band fan and actually, used to volunteer for their Swedish fan club! What are some of your ultimate goals as a group? Are any of these goals currently being put into place/being worked on? At the time of writing, we’re making the final adjustments to our debut album which will be released in January 2020 called ‘Ordinary People in an Ordinary World’. We’ve been chipping away at it over the last year and we’re really looking forward to getting it out there into the world and playing some shows to support its release! What was it like to perform with Catfish and the Bottlemen this summer? We showed up to the gig in a rented car with all our gear in IKEA bags and the venue manager shouted something like ‘HALT, Sie können hier nicht parken!’ which loosely translates in German as ‘what the f@*$ are you doing here’ at us from across the artists car park. They couldn’t comprehend how a band could show up to a nice venue like Huxleys looking the way that we did. They hastily sent a battalion of stage hands to help us with our equipment and after the 5th guy scratched his head and asked us ‘is that it?!?’, we headed inside to find our measly mass of musical debris placed neatly in the corner of the huge hall. The show was amazing and it was such a trip to play in front of so many smiling people. I think Anna summed it up perfectly after the gig, “I do prefer playing Huxleys”! What's the most memorable moment from your festival packed summer? We played our 2nd gig in Sweden this summer at a city festival called Eksjö Stadtfest in the region of Småland. Half the band and our manager are Swedish and so it was really fun to head back to their home country to spend some time skinny dipping in lakes, drinking schnapps and eating crayfish (in that order). The best thing about this particular festival were the characters that we encountered along the way. There was one guy in particular at our show on the Friday night who stood at the front of the stage head banging to our slow songs shouting ‘aaarrgghh, you’re killing me! So goood!. It really made us chuckle. It was great having you here on BuzzMusic! Tell us more about what's next for you after this song release? Any shows in the near future? The album release is creeping closer by every day and we still have a lot to do, so stressing out over that seems like the most literal answer. However, we are about to set off on tour with Ten Tonnes for 4 dates in Germany soon and we are very excited for that! Upcoming shows: Molotow SkyBar, Hamburg (GER) - 2nd of October 2019 - with Ten Tonnes Privatclub (DE) -  5th of October 2019 - with Ten Tonnes Orangehouse, München (DE) - 6th of October 2019 - with Ten Tonnes Helios37 (DE) Köln - 7th of October - with Ten Tonnes Listen to more music here. A groovy house track, “Beat That Part 2” (Trackin’ You) features analog drums, piano chops, and deep filtered bass. The Uncle Earl comes in strong on top of all of these powerful elements with his smooth emotive vocals and impressive range. Not only does The Uncle Earl provide the leading vocals but he additionally sings backup vocals and spoken word. I highly recommend that you check out “Beat That Part 2” (Trackin’ You) as it’s a true highlight for peak time on the dance floor and will be caught in your head until you have the pleasure of experiencing it once more. A true pleasure to review. Listen to “Beat That Part 2” (Trackin’ You) here and read more with The Uncle Earl below! Welcome to BuzzMusic The Uncle Earl! We’re so impressed and inspired by your extensive list of achievements! What are you most proud of thus far in your music career? First of all, thank you so much for this feature in your forum and ecstatic that my list of achievements impressed and inspired your team! What I am most proud of in my music career is the fact that my music is being very well received and I have fans from all around the world who love my music. I am happy to receive messages weekly from new listeners and fans encouraging me to keep going and wondering why I am not a huge Star. My mission is not to be a Star but to uplift, inspire and entertain through storytelling with a beat! We’re completely captured by your new song “Beat That Part 2” (Trackin’ You)! Was this your first time working with Gino Love? Your styles compliment each other remarkably well! I say "YAY" to the fact that you were captured by my new song "Beat That Part 2" (Trackin' You). This was my first time collaborating on a track with Gino Love but not our first time working together. Prior to this new song, he released another collaboration between myself and a DJ/Producer Deep FX called "Don't Be Afraid" which is another club banger. But Yes, our styles are truly complimentary and I anticipate many collaborations in the near future because we are both native New Yorkers and we truly understand "The Groove Factor" hahaha. When I received his track, I went into my usual mode of deep meditation. Which means I grab my headphones, lay back, close my eyes, turn up the volume in order to hear and feel the most minute tones, instruments, and vibrations. Once in my meditational state, I allow the instruments to communicate with me and listen to what they are saying to my subliminal mind. Some people may think "He Is Full Of Crap" but it's true! I have won a couple of awards for this new song (XMA Best House Track August 2019 in Chicago & Akademia Best Dance/Electronica Song August 2019 in Los Angeles) because I allow my songs to write themselves. I start with an open mind, just as an artist begins with a clean canvas. We feel like you put a lot of thought and integrity into the lyrics in “Beat That Part 2” (Trackin’ You)! Can you tell us the meaning behind your words? Thanks for noticing that I put a lot of thought and integrity into the lyrics of this track but it was not very difficult. After my brief meditation and listening session, words began to dance around in my brain about surveillance. This has become a huge topic around the world these days, especially between lovers and in politics. To be specific and not too deep, I decided to set up the scenario of insecure people who are deeply in love, almost to the point of self-destruction because there is not much trust. The twist is that both partners are tracking each other. Through my own experiences, I have found that usually, the person who is accusing another person of dirty dealings is usually guilty of the same type of crimes. So basically the lyrics are based on a vicious cycle of deceit, trickery, and lies which never turn out great. The message is then layered by soulful vocals and a pumping thumping deep house beat. We know that you're a lover of integrating a variety of elements into your music. Would you ever incorporate contrasting genres into your music, or do you think it would ruin the type of sound you're attempting to reach? I definitely love the integration of a variety of elements into my music. I often incorporate contrasting genres into my music because we as a people are a melting pot of individuals who cohabitate this Earth. If you take a listen to my catalog, no two songs sound the same. I am inspired by multiple vibrations combined with highly relatable, enlightening, uplifting and inspirational messages. I believe that as an Artist it is my duty to think outside the box and to be as musically inclusive as possible on an international basis. What's the next move for you artistically? Are you playing any shows in the near future to promote “Beat That Part 2” (Trackin’ You)? My next move artistically is to produce, write for and nurture other up and coming new artists. It is very important for me to give back to a world and industry that has blessed me with so much. I can't take anything that I acquire with me when I leave this life. Listen to “Perfect” here and read more with Hummingbird Hotel below! Welcome to BuzzMusic Hummingbird Hotel! We're completely captivated by your sound and the chemistry throughout your tracks. What can you tell us about your self-titled album? Our self titled album was definitely a labor of love for us.  A few of the songs were ideas that we had before coming together that turned into songs, and others we started from scratch.  We are always writing.  When we are driving, on vacation, going to the grocery store.  When we're not writing, we are recording and producing the songs.  We love every part of the creative process, and feel so lucky to be able to do it together. “Perfect” is the ideal track to open up your recent album. Where did you draw inspiration for this particular song? David actually started writing the opening guitar riff for Perfect a few years prior.  We took a month long trip to Nashville, and a few other places on the east coast, and Southwest Air lost all of my luggage at the beginning of the trip.  Basically my whole wardrobe, a few things that were irreplaceable, AND my fluffy socks!  That's kind of how we started writing the lyrics, and everything else just stemmed from that experience. Congratulations on signing your deal with THINK Music! How does it feel to have your music career propelling into so much success in such a short period of time? Thank you!  It feels really great to be making music that people like and want to hear more of!  THINK music has been wonderful and it has been so surreal to hear our songs on TV shows and commercials.  The first time we heard our song 'On My Way' on Magnum PI, we were watching it at David's parent's house.   It seemed to happen so fast, like it was a dream. How do you both personally feel about live performance? Would you say that you prefer the live performance aspect of music more over the writing/recording process? We both LOVE performing live, and we actually wrote, and performed individually long before we came together.  'Megan'- Live performance for me is a way to take the energy in a room and shift it in some way.  To be able to make people feel and create a positive feedback loop of emotion.  I like to make people feel good.  It can be very healing for everyone involved.  I would have to say that I also LOVE the production process too though.  Every little choice via instruments, melodies, harmonies, and tempo makes the song magical.  There are so many different ways you can go with a song and I love creating the big picture.  'David'-  Live performance is and always has been a spiritual/healing experience for me. Every time I walk out on the stage, I feel a swell of energy rush over my body; then I let go.  On stage seems to be the easiest place for me to disconnect with my "identity" and open up to something more universal.  I feel similarly about creating music, but its definitely more magical to record while the ideas are fresh and living inside the heart.  I also enjoy the mixing process, but that seems to be more of a brain centered activity and is a wonderful opportunity to nerd out. Thanks for chatting with us! We can’t wait to hear more. Can you tell us about your upcoming release with Swedish DJ/Producer, MAISØN?! We couldn't be more excited for our upcoming release with MAISØN!  He reached out to us earlier this year wanting to create something together that would blend reggae, and house music.  The song has a really positive, and empowering feel to it.    We don't have an exact release date yet for it, but it will happen before the end of the year!    We're also stoked to be releasing a new song on October 4th called Only Love.  This is a song that we started to write with the concept of lifting people up, and bringing them together. • Exclusive Interview: Matia Talks Her Latest Album "There Is Love"

Hey there Matia! Welcome to BuzzMusic! We're incredibly excited to be featuring your newest album "There Is Love"! Tell us about the recording process, and how the overall curative process was for this album? Thank you! There Is Love takes the foundational rootsy elements from my first album Blind but adds in a bit more Motown, Beatles type vibe. There Is Love took a long time to record because our band had a lot going on behind the scenes. But the really cool thing about us is that we are all a very cohesive group and I think it shows in the music. How do you think "There Is Love" compares to your first album? How do you think your overall sound has progressed since the release of your first album? Personally, I love both albums. They both honestly reflect where I was emotionally at the time. Even though There Is Love is a bit more produced, both albums have the fundamental Singer/songwriter sound that is my music. Who has had the biggest influence on your life musically thus far? Can you describe the impact this particular individual has had in terms of your sound/progression as an artist? I think it’s impossible to pick who influenced me the most. The top of my list is Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Peter Gabriel, James Taylor, Ray Charles, but many others!!! I love so many artists but at the core of my love for music is lyrical content that deliver a deeper message. How do you feed your passion for music? Well, my story is a long one and that story is wrapped up in both what feeds my creativity and what is reflected in my music. Every artist has something to say for a reason. I’m not short of reasons. What are some of your ultimate goals as an artist? Are any of these goals currently being put into place/being worked on? A huge goal is to share my story with a much larger audience. It’s an inspiring one which holds a lot of positivity and hope for those suffering in a certain way. I would love to be on Ellen or Oprah to share it. I would also like to use my music to help increase empathy both for animals and humans. Compassion and kindness are really important to me and it’s how I live my life. It was great having you here on BuzzMusic! Tell us more about what's next for you after this album release? Any shows in the near future? We have a few shows coming up next month: Topanga Revival October 6th Trip Santa Monica October 8th Children’s Hospital October 10th OC (Private though I believe) Connect with Matia: www.Instagram.com/matiamusic www.matiamusic.com #BuzzMusic

  • InternalEye Releases Comforting Wash Of Ambience With “Sit By The River” Ft Asha

Based in India is producer and incredibly talented multi-instrumentalist InternalEye. InternalEye began his pursuit in the music industry by playing guitar in various bands. He went off to study with various audio engineers to expand his natural ability and enhance his already-present skillset. InternalEye creates ambient electronic soundscapes that feature charmingly organic elements. Pulling inspiration from notable artists such as Hammock, Coldplay, This Patch of Sky and Passengers, InternalEye has his one individual sound and approach to making music. InternalEye’s new song “Sit By The River” Ft. Asha is out now! “Creation of music is what gives me the most joy, it’s an expression and culmination of all experiences and impressions of life as it flows through me,” “Sit By The River” Ft. Asha is a beautiful piece of musical brilliance. The stripped-down guitar intro demands to be heard despite the simplicity. Asha’s vocals bring all the more beauty and a sense of comfort and relatability. “Sit By The River”  is undoubtedly something of a breath-taking musical highlight for its optimism and the sheer color and engaging nature of its progression. It feels like a moment of potential brightness amidst an ocean of darkness. It’s utterly refreshing to know that there are producers, composers, and creatives out there, taking the time and focusing intently on crafting audio experiences that can affect a listener in such a profound way. Listen to the brand new song “Sit By The River” Ft Asha here and read more with InternalEye in our exclusive interview down below! Welcome to BuzzMusic InternalEye! We're completely captivated by your sound--you have such a strong and warming presence throughout your tracks. Can you tell us more about your intentions when you first began to curate your recent release "Sit By The River”? I’m glad that you found a connect with my sound. A warm presence regardless of the emotions I’m exploring is exactly what I’m going for, so thanks for recognising that. I’m essentially an instrumentalist and producer so I tend to compose instrumental music but their are times when a few lines and a melodic structure come to me and haunts me endlessly. This is exactly what happened with “Sit by the River”, so I had to put it down and begin production. At first, I wanted to sing it myself but quickly realised that it’s not going to cut it. My creative expression comes from layering different tones and producing a track. I decided to search for a voice that could make this track come alive. Thankfully, I found Asha and I’m so happy with the way this song shaped up. You've had such a strong love and passion for music at such a young age! How do you think you and your music have grown since you first started producing, versus now? I started out playing drums for my school band. Like a lot of teenagers, I was heavily into rock music. It wasn’t too long before I found my love for the guitar. Music helped me deal with an unstable home environment and my introverted nature. I realised I had found my best friend, my life long companion in music. After playing professionally with a rock band, that was quite well-known in the local circuit, I decided to go and study audio engineering and explore other aspects of the music industry. It was during my study that I found a connect with electronic music, especially psychedelic, ambient and chill-out. I also love the subtlety and expressiveness of both Indian and Western Classical Music and the rawness of folk. So you see, there are so many aspects that inspire me to create my own signature sound. "Sit By The River" is a beautiful song and Asha’s voice complements it perfectly. Where did you draw inspiration for this particular track? My deepest joy comes from two things, one is music and the other is my connection with nature. The inexplicable sense of joy and wonder that I have felt walking through the forrest, hiking up the mountain and yes you guessed it… sitting by the river. It was these emotions that I tried to express while producing this song. We know that you're a lover of integrating a variety of elements in your music. Would you ever incorporate contrasting genres into your music, or do you think it would ruin the type of sound you're attempting to reach? I am open to experimentation and I do feel that exploring different genres is very important for any music producer. That said, as an artist one must develop a sound. It is something you connect with deeply so fooling around too much with that can make for a frustrating time in the studio. I guess what I’m trying to say is that as long as one can incorporate their sound, incorporating contrasting genres is not a bad idea. What's the next move for you artistically? Can we expect to see future collaborations with Asha? I have a number of unreleased works and I’m planning to release them as singles on a consistent basis from now on. I’m happy with the way my sound has shaped up, it is the closest I can get to what I’m trying to express through my music. Yes, I would love to do more tracks with Asha. I have spoken to her and sent her a couple of ideas, let’s see how it goes. Connect with InternalEye: www.twitter.com/InternaleyeM www.instagram.com/internaleyemusic #BuzzMusic
