  • Spreading The Love With Taylor Pace With Intimate New Song "Sweetest Memories"

As a second-generation musician, Taylor Pace began his musical journey through singing in the church and around his house. As time eventually progressed, Taylor Paces' music reflects the diverse musical influences ranging from Michael Jackson to Coldplay and from Prince to John Legend. He incorporated all his musical influences and shaped his own style that’s best suitable for him. This dynamic skill set has helped him become one of industry’s explosive and rising stars. If you check out the release of his single “Sweetest Memories” you will see how Taylor Pace is able to channel in various emotions but more significantly, vulnerability. His way to deliver a gentle and delicate bop that’s perfect for all you hopeless romantics is a great way to finish off the valentine season. “The first time I saw you you put a smile on my face” Taylor sings in the video towards his significant other. What’s so special about the video is the raw chemistry between both the vocalist and his lover. He’s basically serenading her in an empty venue, while on stage and she sit in the audience. She seems to be genuinely on cloud nine, enjoying the melody but enticed by the delighted lyrics that he metaphorically looked as if he dedicated to her. The lyrics are a representation on how we can listen to this record and mentally reflect on our current love life but more specifically someone who makes a great impact on our emotions. It’s the most appropriate song to dedicate to a loved one due to the lyricism that touches base on companionship. Alongside the romantic video with the passionate lyrics, “Sweetest Memories” is the perfect song to share with a loved one during this closing valentines month or anytime really! Let's share the love! Listen to "Sweetest Memories". Connect with Taylor Pace on social media: Instagram Twitter Website Label Website #BuzzMusic

  • Fever Joy Brings A Vibe With “R.Y.W.B.”

With their second single, “R.Y.W.B.”, Fever Joy is standing at the gate of pop-rock excellence, ready to bang it down. It follows hot on the heels of their debut single “Shots,” which was produced by Adam Castilla of The Colourist and mastered by Joe LaPorta (Imagine Dragons, The Weeknd). There is some truth to that line of thinking, considering the band was rounded out when Robitaille hit up an open mic in the O.C., down in SoCal. That’s where Sean Baker and Kevin Holm were recruited. There does seem to be a decent amount of meet to the lyrics, where she describes “walking between the lines,” for example. And the music itself is pretty forward, with just a touch of crunch to the guitars! The drums oscillate between organic and programmed-sounding. If you mixed Florence Welch of Florence and The Machine, Hayley Williams of Paramore and Lyndsey Gunnulfsen of PVRIS, you get Fever Joy's new single “R.Y.W.B.”. The beauty of this music is that it doesn’t sound too contrived while still ticking a lot of boxes. It could be hipster indie music, it could be alt-rock radio music and it could even be considered pop music. And it sounds like this is who they want to be. This is a song to jam out to, a song you want to hear over the speakers in the coffee shop and a tune you want on your playlist! Bravo Fever Joy! Listen to “R.Y.W.B.,” here and get to know a bit more about Fever Joy below! You can also catch Fever Joy live at SXSW March 13-16th! I’ve been driving by the Whiskey a Go Go in Hollywood almost every day, sometimes noticing the frenetic crowd swarming outside at night. What was it like playing there? It was crazy. It was our first show and it’s such a legendary venue. Many of our idols have played there. Sean’s obsessed with classic rock and so being the same green room Jim Morrison (and so many others) were in was pretty surreal. In the end, we got such a positive and engaging reaction which was encouraging and affirming to the fact that people are liking what we are doing. It seems like you have a solid strategy for how you will cut through the noise of the rock industry… what is it? So far it’s primarily been about making good music and building a solid team. Our manager has been a musician, and also works in branding/marketing which has helped a lot. He can have an objective voice and eye which sees and hears things we don’t always catch. Making plans and working really fucking hard is the other part. We plan out our goals for the year and do everything in our power to see them happen. What do you feel you guys have in common? Music, haha. That’s what attracted us to each other in the first place. Our sense of humors mix really well too. That’s like the two best things a friendship can have in our opinions. The same taste in music and humor. We’re all best friends now and have each other’s backs through all the shit we go through. How do the songs go from an idea to reality… what’s the process? It’s really collaborative. We’ll discuss what the feeling is going to be first. Kevin typically has all the chords in his head, and maps out the structure. Sean adds in the drum beat and I carry around my journal around wherever I go; writing throughout the day and bringing my ideas to the guys. They’ll usually help me formulate that into lyrics. Would you say you’re more about having a message or more about just rocking out? It’s about the message first, but also fully, and passionately rocking out while giving the message to others. We want to put our feelings to music and trying to create a space where people can understand and connect to what we are saying. We want others to know that we feel their happiness and feel their pain too. I think that makes us all relate to each other on a different level. • Caleb & Walshy Release Soul Touching Debut Project ‘Terminal 27’

Caleb & Walshy have potentially just dropped the most heart felt, soul touching and somewhat nostalgic project of the year… and its only March. Floating around subtly on the scene for almost a couple years now, the London & Dublin duo have taken their sweet time piecing this project together and it’s worth the wait. From the get go, ‘Intro’ displays an absolute taste of what’s to come from the project: a beat oozing with soul fuelled samples and almost effortless poetry with utmost honesty, providing the listener a true glimpse into a troubled yet peace seeking mind. The lyrical vulnerability is to behold. Whether it’s the mellow ’Terminal 27’, the energetic ’A Girl Named Sandy’ or the mystical ‘Hold That Thought, Forever’, expect to connect emotionally multiple times. Although dripping in samples, Walshy's multi instrumental production can be identified multiple times throughout, especially in the finale ’That Won’t Change My Mind’ where the two open up about contemporary battles within. Live guitar, bass and keys proves the vibrant potential which immerses out the two, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for them. Stream ’Terminal 27’ on all platforms now. • LoveGhost Leaves You Addicted With New Single Mr. Blue

We always love a great progressive rock hit that knows how to deliver stunning guitar riffs and electrifying vocals. Love Ghost comes through with a hit record, “Mr. Blue”. “I say the world is tainted” , the band sings. I interpreted that this record has a deep lyrical connotation hidden behind the intricate melody and ear piercing pitch you can’t help but to love! I also enjoyed how Love Ghost incorporated other styles of music into one solidified rock record. The incorporation of orchestral instruments such as the Violin was a nice and atypical way to deliver a rock hit! The hook was catchy and addicting, “I am Mr. Blue”. By the second hearing of the hook, I was already singing along Love Ghost and jamming out to the melodic projection from the vocalist. I can hear this song being played daily on local radio stations, in your favorite skater retail outlets, or even simply around the house! It’s such an appealing single where you can place yourself in any setting or environment and as soon as “Mr Blue” plays you become immensely captured inside the music and everything it has to offer. Just like Love Ghost other release “9mm”, “Mr. Blue” is a magnetic force you can’t help but become attached to! Listen to "Mr. Blue" here and get to know Love Ghost below! Hey LoveGhost, mind telling us a little bit about how your band formed? Finn and Mya are the original members, they have been together for 4 years.  Ryan has been in the band for 2 and a half years, and Samson has been in for almost a year. So, this line up was formed jaggedly, but we love playing music with each other and it's a great experience. How did you choose "Love Ghost" as your band name? At that time the two subjects I thought the most about were love and death- and I wanted the band to be "Love Death" but everyone thought that was stupid. So instead, we became "Love Ghost" How was your tour in Ireland? What are a few highlights of the tour? Excited to tour Japan? Ireland is a beautiful country, as a band we had our ups and downs whilst adjusting to our first tour. Overall, it was a great experience. Some highlights from the tour were playing to a couple hundred people in Cork and them being extremely receptive to our music. The band all got tattoos together (except for Ryan, because he's 17) in Belfast and that was really fun. We all plan on getting tattoos for our next tour in Japan, as well! We are beyond excited to be touring in Japan. Congrats on the release of "Mr. Blue"! What is the meaning behind the single? Mr blue is actually about depression, and I actually wrote it on a really dark day, a really dark period.  I was feeling suicidal at that time. The contrasting funk melody of the song battles the torturing thoughts I was having. Favorite lyric line from "Mr. Blue"? "I say the world is tainted, I bid you all adieu, I am Mr. Blue." What's next for Love Ghost throughout 2019? We are going to Japan in less than two weeks, in April we are going to Ecuador and playing a music festival there. We are in the midst of recording with the legendary producer Danny Saber, and we can't wait to share those songs with you! • E Coop Releases “Hellfire”

E Coop, an 23 year old Milwaukee rapper who released his single titled “HellFire” has this tasteful rap style non conforming to the current wave of rappers while still maintaining a trendy image and sound that could possibly skyrocket him to the top if he makes all the right moves and networks! “Hellfire” has quick-witted and ingenious lyrics driven by a skilled flow and distinguishable rap voice. What’s interesting to this single is how the beat wasn’t so extravagant. If you heard the beat alone, you would think the song could possibly end up boring. However, E Coop turned an almost dull beat and spiced it up and brought lots of personality to it, making the song a characterized hit. My favorite moment in this song was the entire transition around 2:30 (on the Youtube timer). He completely switched his flow, the beat, and the style of the song and it was the most replenishing sound to hear. It showed me how versatile E Coop is and how he has the capability of entertaining others, and not giving too much without giving too little. E Coop has the full package and we’re excited to see where else he goes from here. Listen to "Hellfire" here, and learn more about E Coop in our interview below! Hey E Coop! tell us a little bit about your rap style and why you decide to pursue music? My rap style has a lot to do with growing up listening to 90’s gangsta rap around my dad. My raps come from my life experiences & its always been a way for me to express myself. How supportive has your peers and environment been for you? I get a lot of support my from peers when they hear my music. They think my shit hard! Has growing up in Milwaukee impact your music in any way? If so how? Growing up in Milwaukee impacted my music in many ways. I only rap about what I seen growing up here and tryna make it out. What’s your artist perspective behind your single “Hellfire” ? When I was making Hellfire I was at a point in my life where I just wanted some money & ain’t care about nothing else. Why did you decide to name the song “Hellfire” It really just mean gunfire, Hellfire sound better for a song though. What's next for you through 2019? For 2019, I’m dropping new music all year through Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Tidal, etc. Stay tuned. Connect with E Coop: Instagram Twitter #BuzzMusic

  • James Doe "Sets It Off" With New Hit Single!

James Doe is an emerging hip-hop and R&B artist crafting music from his Chicago studio. And people are starting to take notice – this talented artist has had nearly 100,000 streams on Spotify alone! The son of a DJ and a Lieutenant Colonel, James had a unique upbringing and introduction to music. “I feel I understand music from a different perspective,” he says, and that translates into his sound. Growing up, James idolized his brother who rapped – until he realized that he was better, and stuck with it since. James Doe recent release “Set It Off" is the perfect sensual vibe record we can add to our playlist. James Doe has that true urban RnB vocal style and sound I believe will translate well across numerous radio stations and generate a fanbase due to the fact that his style is what’s “in” at the moment. “Set It Off” is a lovemaking, passionate, and stimulating bop that weaves between the lines of classic RnB and modern day rap music. Nowadays, people have been enjoying the balance between hip hop and RnB music and it plays highly favorable for the provocative energy like “Set It Off”. The sexual lyricism has moments of relatable punchlines where I see others and especially the current generation repeating the lyrics on their social media statuses and captions! Spice up your Spotify playlist with James Doe's "Set It Off" Catch James Doe's exclusive interview below to get to know the artist a little better! Hey there, care to introduce yourself to our readers? Of Course! Wassup ya'll, My name is James Doe or you can call me Doe for short.I grew up in Chicago and found making music was a whole lot easier than pitching all day. My parents tried their best to make sure I became something in life, so i decided to become independentand do my own thing. My whole goal of being an artist is to have you, the listener, be able to listen to my music and have a song for each emotion you could be feeling. Seeing my father become one of the most talented DJ's in the Chicagoland area made me want to emulate that. You know, maybe oneday he would play my music for a show, but unfortunately he passed away a while back, so I just use that as motivation, if he couldnt see me in person, then maybe he'll see how my music makes peoplefeel. You know, outside of trap, cuz he would prolly shake his head at me " YOU NOT POSE TO TELL ONYOURSELF JAMES" Lol. Being the son of a DJ, would you say you grew up in a musically inclined household? Oh no doubt. My father introduced me to my first musical experiences. Opened my little mindup to R&B, blues, oldies, and old school hip hop. First hip hop album I heard was Snoop Doggs Doggystyle. Oh, he beat my ass...I mean I got a BEATING BEATING.....but it was great times lol. My mother was a pastorso she only listened to artists like Fred Hammond, Kirk Franklin, Yolanda Adams and Donnie McClurkin. My older brother was more into Rap, hip-hop and R&B so while I loved everything I heard, I gravitated more towardsHip-hop. Funny part is everybody had their own music. So my pops would never listen to rap, but would listen to gospel,my bro would listen to hip-hop but nun else and my mom had God, so she didnt need nothing else...fun fact her favorite HipHop song to this day is "Walk it out Remix Feat. Andre 3000 and Jim Jones." but I was the calm medium between everybodyso I was exposed to different types off music not just genre but culturally. Do you self-produce your music? OH HELL NAH. lol. I could, but then I wouldn't have anybody to make me look good and I swear that's all they ever do! Shoutout to Fostepco, Shenq, 81Skinny, IrCasim, The N.E.W.S. & the homie MizzHitz Beatz. They all have different vibes to them, which is an artists best dream. So If I want something Trap, I know to call 81 & Shenq because that's their area. If I want somethingLo-Fi type I call IrCasim. If I want something outside of the norm, something that marries traditional and untraditional sounds, I go to fostepco. And if I am in my feelings, I call N.E.W.S. and MizzHitz. While I don't make my own beats, I engineer everything in post production(Shout out SAE Institute in Atlanta). I had the pleasure to be around heavyhitters in the Atlanta music world and soaked up as muchknowledge I could and incorporated my own style to make it unique. All the mastering however is done by Ben Hixon out of Dallas.. So publically, let me say THANK YA'LL. You have a nice style that we see doing well! Do you have any specific music influences? Thanks. Fr Fr, there are always days I feel like maybe this isnt for me, so when I get feedback like this, I tend to get remotivated to create a new experience musically. But yes. Some people know that I rap more than I sing, but my biggest BIGGEST influence isnt even involved in music. She has been the living embodiment of what African American success is suppose to look like. She came from nothing, had her grind right and now her money makes her money and got her in the position she's in right now; A global icon. My 2nd influence is Mr. R O CS. Carter, H to the IZZO.....followed similar paths(except Oprah aint never shank a cop) but musically, from his story to his success, its really whereI see myself in a few years. Until then, its just Fostepco and I chasing the gold that shines off the grammy and brightens our future. “Set It Off” would make a great music video! Have you already started thinking of any visuals for it? Lol. Flattery will get you EVERYWHERE. But yeah that's acutally in the works. We shoot in a couple weeks and currently just looking atdope locations around the area to really capture the essence of the song. To me, that means catching both the love and hate we have for each other, and expressing it in a way that everybody can relate. I really hope they like the music like ya'll do. What’s next for James Doe!? Well, more music. I am releasing my album "For Your Consideration 2" completely produced by MizzHitz in May. On my ex and I anniversary. I mean.....She got me blocked everywhereso I doubt she'll be one of the streams but who knows lol. Im already working on a follow up with Mizzhitz. But I released my debut project last year "For Your Consideration" produced by Fostepco, Shenq & fatmackington, but im currently switchingfrom CDBaby to Distrokid so I need to wait for CDBaby to completely erase it from their database so I can reupload. It still on Soundcloud tho FYI. But I got a CRAZY CRAZY rap project coming out "FYC 2.5" with 81Skinny. and Its BANANAS. I spelledthat right, right? okay...you know when you look at words to long they start to look wrong...yeah...thats me right now. but yeah I currently have a back catalog of RNB songs with other producers im going to release throughout this year, but my new workwill definitely prove to people that I am here to imprint on this game. And I dont need a big name producer to help, i dont need a cosign, I dont need a gimmick, I just need music, a blunt, a cup of hot Todi, and Fostepco to stop switching studios and settle tf down lmao. • Chris Espo Brings Back True Raw Hip-Hop With 2 Hits Under His Belt!

At the young age of only 23 years old, Chris Espo has already started building an extensive resume on the hip hop scene. Chris has gained the respect of many and has had the opportunity to work alongside Legendary artist Cassidy. Cass not only did a song with Chris, but invited him to a studio in Brooklyn for the session, where he got to pick the mind of the hip-hop legend. Chris Espo release of “Hungry” begins with a melodic airwind instrumental before the raw flow and aggressive verse by Chris Espo transitions in. “They say I don’t got it, so I guess I have to spazz out” was a memorable lyric to me. He really has an insane flow alongside a lyrical ability that many rappers nowadays have. “Hungry” showcases his hunger as an upcoming artist and displays his determination and dedication to make it as a legendary rapper that he believes he’s capable of becoming. “I’m always moving forward, aint no time to look back” was another highlight lyric in my opinion. It just confirms how devoted he is to himself and his craft. However, Chris didn’t solely tackle on that hit song by himself as he collaborated with another rising legend in his own lane, Massachusetts very own “Termanology”. Together they both propelled this record forward with witty punchlines and characterized flows. Chris' other release “Been Patient” was a collaborative project with another artist ‘Kurrent’. “Been Patient” was similar to “Hunger” in terms of the rawness and authenticity in the music, however although similarities in substance, the difference in overall foundation was noticeable. “Been Patient” felt more like a vulnerable yet tough vibe that still discusses how unwavering chris is to music and his dream, but the outside influences who tries to negatively affect him and his journey. However, he doesn’t allow the negativity from outside opinions to diminish what he feels he’s meant to do. It’s a relatable song because almost all of us has a specific dream we’re aiming to reach and sometimes not everyone can have our best interest at heart. And can give advice with the sole purpose of us failing. Chris Espo delivered two bonafide real hits that marks his respectability as a lyricist and rapper. Click here to check out Chris Espo's "Been Patient," and don't miss out on Chris' interview below! You seem to be highly passionate about music and rapping. When was the first moment you realized this was something you wanted to do? Truthfully when I was still in high school around 16 years old I started writing music. At the time you could definitely see that I had potential, Not to long after I started getting into music I ran into my boy Short who I consider a brother now. Short was big into making music himself and basically saw me as a young kid with a lot of talent. He was the first person to show me the whole recording process and from that point I knew this was something I was really interested in pursuing. What made you reach out to Termanology and Kurrent to collaborate with you on a song? I've listened to Termanology since I was young and also thought he was a dope mc! I felt with his legendary presence on a track like "Hungry" it would really bring out the feel for the track. Kurrent I've known for a long time and he's always had that perfect feel for songs that need some grit. He's very lyrical and is just as hungry for success as I am! Describe “Hungry” in your brief summary? Describe “Been Patient” "Hungry" is about my desire to make it in the rap game. It has gotten to the point where we're starting to put in major effort in everything we do and we're simply hungry to reap the benefits.  Been Patient has a lot of meanings to it but I feel the most important thing to take from the song is no matter what people say or what you've been through you have to move on for yourself. Everybody goes through some type of hardship in their lives but it's important to be able to pick yourself back up and move on. Between both songs “Hungry” and “Been Patient” do you have one you specifically prefer? "Hungry" to me is a great track. Lyrically tough, a lot of aggression, and heart. Although I feel "Been Patient" has a more serious effect as far as being able to relate to the listener feeling the emotion in the song. Personally I prefer "Been Patient". What’s the similarities between both records and what’s the difference? Both records talk about waiting to get yours and doing what it takes to make it happen! They differ because "Hungry" uses more of an aggressive way to get the message to the listener by telling them you wanna succeed in a menacing way. Where as "Been Patient" is telling you same thing but it has a much more agitated tone of voice, speaking its message to its listener. Have the desire to succeed but don't lose yourself in the process of doing so. Check out Chris Espo on his website and the usual socials: Facebook Instagram Twitter #BuzzMusic

  • NEW SOUNDS: Olympic Black “Lab Rats”

“About a Dream” is the first discographic work of the band Olympic Black, consolidated by 4 tracks that reflect the well defined indie rock/pop sound and warm melodies that make the sound of the band easy to enjoy for all kinds of listeners, showing their influences from the English music, such as Foals and The Smiths. The EP “About a Dream” was mixed and recorded at Insular studios by Juan Manuel Mendez and mastered by Gabriel Molina. It has accomplished a very good reception from the public, winning recognition in the media and nominations at indie music awards. The English sound of the band, with english lyrics and catchy rhythms, shows itself as a great proposal for the English-chilean music industry. This is one of my favorite genres of music. And I must add that this track did not disappoint. There’s this really unique and relatable indie vibe I hear in this track that really gives that pop/rock sound. Production is phenomenal! This band is such a well blended combination of talent and sounds. The lyrics are simple and allows you to really enjoy the music as well. Such a smooth and relaxing track; one that I hope to hear more from! Don't forget to check out Olympic Black's "About a Dream" on Spotify, and scroll below to find their exclusive interview! Hey! Care to introduce yourselves? We are a indie pop band from Santiago, Chile, a thin and long country from South America. Our members are Benjamín Caro (vocals, guitar), Luis López (lead guitar), Ignacio Sanhueza (bass) and María José Ibacache (drums). We are all young folks that are no older than 22 years old. How did the band form? We were all from the same school, María José is two years younger than the rest of us, but that was the place were we met each other. After finishing high school, we decided to form a band, which at the beginning had another drummer, but after a while he left the band and María José decided to join us. We decided to stay like this and we feel very comfortable about it. What do you think sets you apart from the competition? We believe we have catchy rhythms and we condensed a lot of our influences in our songs, such as Foals, The smiths, etc. While listening to our songs you can get a hint of something you might know but you will get something new as well. We like leaving people with a sensation of a “Deja Vù”, a feeling of you may have heard this somewhere but it’s nothing like any particular band. What is the backstory behind “Lab Rats”? Lab Rats it’s a metaphor, it tries to explain the feeling that you get when you are with a special person while at a party you’re hanging out with friends, and you kind of start feeling a good vibe and maybe you like that person a little, and throughout the party you really enjoy this persons company. But in the inside you know you don’t want this to be just a moment at a party, sadly you realize that the other person just wants to hangout while the party lasts but you don’t only want that.                     That’s what the song tries to explain, that weird feeling of only being a “party hookup” even if you are having a good time, you can’t shake that bitter feeling of knowing that things aren’t gonna turn out the way that you want to. Where can listeners find your music? You can find our music at any platforms. Our Ep About a dream is available in Spotify, YouTube and Apple Music. Stay connected and up to date with Olympic Black on their Instagram! #BuzzMusic

  • Covu's Giving Off Vibes With "Get to Know Ya"

Beginning his career as a songwriter and guitar player for a rock band, Covu switched directions and started his career as a solo EDM producer. Covu uses his experience with acoustic instruments and implements it in his production which gives a nice blend of electronic and acoustic music. On Spotify, Covu’s newest track titled, “Get to Know Ya” features Jess Jani for vocals. A somewhat pop vibe begins with the vocals, as a smooth touch on both lyrics and melody are accompanied by instrumental breaks sucks us in waiting for the buildup. When the beat drops we are completely satisfied but also can’t help to feel that the EDM sound is something familiar but at the same time is completely diverse. The acoustic sound is involved with what seems to be natural drums for a few parts before it starts evolving back into the beats. A classic piano also gives its aid but goes in and out of saturated synthesizers. Covu’s production quality and skills seems to follow the hype of pop music EDM while steering it into a new direction of more natural sounds that feel more organic. Covu will definitely make big strides in the music industry with his new spin on EDM music and will make a new spin on your Spotify playlist. Be sure to check out Covu's "Get to Know Ya" on Spotify, and check out the artist's personalized interview below! Hello! Care to introduce yourself to our readers? Hi, I'm Covu! Thank you for showing your support, I hope you're enjoying my new single "Get to Know Ya". This is my first song release in 3 years and my first song under the name "Covu". From 2013 to 2017 I was writing songs in a rock band, playing distorted guitars and loud drums. After a few years of hiatus, I started to discover who I was as a solo artist and began trying new ways to make music, such as DAW production of electronic music. What got you started in rock music and guitar? When I started High School I didn't have any strong musical influences, other than an acquired taste for Johnny Cash thanks to my father. That soon changed when I was introduced to the ranging self expression of teenage angst that is Nirvana. I fell in love with how Kurt Cobain was unapologetically himself, which was hugely reflected in his music. That became all I really listened to, I learned every Nirvana song on guitar and played them every single day. It's crazy how the style of music I was playing back then is almost polar to what I'm producing now, but having those rock roots will definitely influence me for the rest of my life. What prompted you to change your genre of music? I don't believe my change in music style is something I had much control over. Similar to when I was in High School, I was exposed to music I had never heard and found myself connecting to it on a different level than what I was feeling with rock music. EDM is something I always thought I didn't like because I only had one idea of what it sounded like, that changed when I discovered that EDM is an umbrella genre and that there are many different types of EDM sub-genres that I do like. The next natural thing for me to do was start creating this new type of music that I discovered. It was a very foreign process to me because I was used to physical instrumentation rather than using digital forms of creating a song, but luckily the song structuring process is very similar so I was able to apply a lot of my experience to help me get started. What are your future plans with your music? I.e. do you plan to release an EP/any upcoming shows? Of course!! 1000% plan on playing shows, because to be honest, that's the whole reason I'm doing all of this. When I played shows in my rock band, I experienced being on stage and playing songs that I had written, which is such a vulnerable feeling but also one of extreme satisfaction and pleasure, its a feeling you can't get anywhere else. And yes, I am also currently working on my first Covu album! How did you produce/write your track, “Get to Know Ya”? Was the challenging or did it come natural to you? The total length of time it took to complete "Get to Know Ya" from start to finish was 9 months. This was one of the first electronic songs I started producing, so I was essentially learning the ropes of electronic production as I was making this song, which is why the process took so many months. A month or two into the songs development my cousin introduced me to his girlfriend Jess Jani as we all went to an Odesza concert together. He later told me that she could sing, this immediately rang a bell in my head because I was working on a song and had been wanting some vocals on it. I messaged Jess a few days later with the proposal and she was happy to do it. I spent the next few months developing and progressing the songs instrumentals, sending Jess new demo updates every other week. I eventually finished the instrumentals so we then shifted our focus to the vocals / lyrics which is where Jess really stepped up and did an amazing job. She sent over a vocal demo which blew me away, and we didn't really have to revise much of it. All that was left was to go in the studio, so we went to one in North Hollywood and spent over 6 hours there getting the vocal tracks recorded and edited. This process was a really amazing one for me, I wasn't sure if I would be able to produce this new type of music that is so different from what I had been making my whole life, but I am really happy with how it turned out, especially because this is only the beginning! How will you keep innovating in your genre to keep things new and fresh? I feel lucky to have had experience in making other genres of music because I can apply principles from those different genres to make something that is completely unique to me and is a reflection of who I am. My #1 priority is to keep discovering and experiencing new influences that will continue to grow and transform my sound to always be a reflection of who I am. Because of this I find it hard to put my music under one category or label because its constantly changing. Thank you so much to Buzz Music and all of you guys for supporting artists like me because it really does mean everything! I can't wait to get on stage again and I hope you will all be there! • Nuwamba Released “Unusual”

After making his grand introduction as a sensitive, soulful singer, songwriter, producer and musician in 2005, Nuwamba has been creating positive waves in the music game ever since. His first album titled “Above The Water” was hailed the Virtuoso as " The Best Hip Hop and R&B Artist " of the year in 2005 by Ft. worth weekly. Almost 15 years later and Nuwamba still has the flare, swagger, and voice to become a hit in today's current market of music! He released his single “Unusual” and I was instantly drawn into how cultured and soulful the record was. “Unusual” was released in 2016, however it showed me classic early 2000 vibes in the song and I loved every bit of it. RnB music back in the early 00’s era were more memorable, timeless, and transcended over the years as a hit you want to keep on replay. Nowadays, many songs don’t have that sticky factor to it, however Nuwamba completely delivered with his single “Unusual” and we heard all the legendary elements in the music that makes a song iconic. From his pitch perfect and smooth-sailing vocal resonance that almost sounds like silk all the way to the atmospheric creating beat, Nuwamba fabricated the perfect new age classic RnB hit that many people will be attracted to and magnified by! Catch "Unusual" on Spotify and scroll down to get to know Nuwamba better through his exclusive interview! Hi there, can you introduce yourself to our readers? Peace! I think a great song starts with the rhythm and the total sound it can become infectious to the ear causing person to become addicted to the song. How do you know a song is ready for prime time? The perfect song is all about the optimum conjunction of brevity and passion. That’s when it’s ready for prime time. What is your constant source of inspiration? My constant source of inspiration when I connected with the source “God”, so the best way to tap into the source starts with honesty. How is Texas changing, and how does your music fit into it? I think Texas music is changing tremendously. There’s many styles of music that exist in Texas from country R&B and southern hip hop or rap and  jazz. I feel my music is more on a global platform so it can’t really be define by a region, I pull from many forms of inspiration.
