  • Young Hueston’s Newest Single “Tidal Wave” Will Sweep You Off Your Feet

Young Hueston is an artist from South Florida who composes soulful and emotionally-rich pieces. The name Young Hueston is beautifully comprised of his late grandmother’s maiden name “Young” and his real last name “Hueston”.  His timeless sound and lyricism fused with his spectacular vocals will have you paying his newest single on repeat! His first single titled “This Love” was released in March and now he’s back again with newest release “Tidal Wave”. As soon as Young Hueston began singing I was instantly blown away! His vocals are flawless and so powerful, you really get sucked into the emotion in his voice. I love the vulnerability in the lyrics and how they are easy to relate to regardless of how you interpret them. The song “Tidal Wave” is about a love that seems almost too good to be true, or unattainable. My favorite lyric is “All these feelings cut me open like a razor blade”. It’s simplistic but a raw representation of how this type of love can make you feel. This song really resonates with me and I believe it’s a true talent to be able to connect with your fans through songwriting and Young Hueston does it effortlessly. “Tidal Wave” is a culmination of feelings and experiences and it’s evident that Young Hueston poured his heart and soul into it. Overall “Tidal Wave” is a moving motif and we can’t wait to see what Young Hueston delivers next. Check out Young Hueston's "Tidal Wave" now on Spotify, and keep scrolling for the artists interview with BuzzMusic! Can you tell us the meaning behind your new single “Tidal Wave”? “Tidal Wave” is a song about how hard someone’s love can hit you, comparing the impact to the intensity of a tidal wave. Who are your biggest musical influences that have helped shape how you write your music? Musically my influences are Ray Charles, B.B King, Janis Joplin, Bob Marley, Jim Morrison, Amy Winehouseand Kanye West! I have so many more, but those are my top ones for sure! What’s your writing process like? It’s never one way! It always changes. In my opinion the best songs don’t come from formulas, they come from the heart. If I go into the studio with a plan it usually never works! The magic of writing is literally like magic. You have to be a channel for something higher to create through you! It’s almost like your an instrument and the universe is playing you! Your vocals are incredible. What age did you start singing? Thank you! It’s funny to me because my normal voice sounds nothing like my singing voice lol. People are always shocked when they hear me sing, like they didn’t expect me to sound like that! I started singing when I was 14 but I started playing guitar at 10. It feels like I’ve always been really musical. Can we expect a full EP in the future? What's next for you? I’m just dropping singles right now. An EP is definitely something that could happen in the future. I’m dropping a song called “Madelines Note” on May 17th, so stay tuned cause issa vibe! • MacIzm’s Vulnerability And Talent Are Clear In Newest Single “Try You”

MacIzm from North Carolina want his audience to get a mental high from his words. That’s where the “izm” comes from in his name. His unique hip-hop sound and layered vibe have playing his newest single on repeat. Despite the heavy beat and fresh and hypnotic synths, “Try You” is an emotional and deep single about being vulnerable in a new relationship. I think that’s something that everyone can relate too. Being in a new relationship, whether that’s just hooking up or trying to get serious is so terrifying. You never want to be that first person to say something to make the situation more serious and find out your feelings are not reciprocated and get rejected. MacIzm flawlessly expresses the difficulty and anxiety that people face in these situations. The title “Try You” expresses this perfectly too. MacIzm sings “But I never tried you, and I wonder why” to explain the regret when it’s too late to try and express yourself. My favorite is the attitude flip at the end when MacIzm questions why she never “tried me”, meaning that talking about your feelings in a new relationship is a two way street. Overall I think that the lyrics and meaning behind the track “Try You” are really meaningful and impressive, not to mention the astounding production and fresh hip-hop sound. The whole aesthetic that MacIzm brings to the table is alluring and we can’t wait to see what he delivers next! Check out “Try You” here, and read more with MacIzm below in our exclusive interview. Hey MacIzm! Can you start by telling us more about yourself and your upbringing? I was born in Laurel, Maryland PG county in December '93. Spent a few years there as a kid before I moved to North Carolina where I did most of my years as an adolescent. I shared a bedroom with my older brother and my older cousin. I was little of a brat I must say. Constantly getting in trouble with people know, I believe it was because I had a rebellious a soul. Always trying to do what I want no matter the cost. I did a lot of moving around when I was young. Moving back and forth from small town to small town living with different relatives. Being the only left-handed child in my immediate family always made me the odd one out, but my mother constantly reminds me that whats make me truly special. What inspired you to start creating music? I think I fell in love with writing before music came into the scene. In the fifth grade, I learned how to write a Haiku. I thought It was so dope that you could express yourself with such few words. Slowly I started to recognize the music that was all around me. Music like Al Green and Musiq Soulchild when my mom uses to clean the house. I would watch how she would dance to the rhythm and how the music itself changed the way she feels. When I got older I started listening to my own music. I use to listen to people like Donell Jones, Genuine, Outkast, Busta Rhymes, Missy Elliot, and Erykah Badu. Watching their videos and their creativity made me want to create. I start making music seriously freshman year in college. I felt like what was the point in waiting. Is the song “Try You” based on true events? All my songs are based on true events lol. Okay, let me not overstep aha. This song, in particular, is based on a true event. Well more like an ongoing feeling. There's this girl that I've consistently been in an on and off "situationship" so to speak. As time grew we got closer and closer to each other. Though our past mistakes made it hard to trust one another. I've got to the point where I'm ready to be serious with her, but I struggle to find words to let her know how I truly feel. So I made this song "Try You". In the song, I try to emit emotions of fear and regret of not being strong enough to attempt to love her. Though my actions show that I do, but I believe its the words that she yearns to hear from me. Hopefully, after releasing this song, for the people who listen if they can relate to the feeling. I wish they would find the courage and strength to tell the person that they're with and let that person know how much they mean to them. What challenges have you experienced as an up and coming artist and how have you overcome them? Like most upcoming artists, I would say trying to find ways to expand our fan base. Though I struggle with that, with me its more so not being able to solely concentrate on my music. Trying to balance college and do music at the same time is not an easy task in my opinion. One side of your brain wants to risk it all and solely focus on music and the other half wanting to be strategic and use these degrees to make revenue to feed into my artistry and invest. This year I'll be done with school. I'll be graduating with my masters in computer science. So if you in the Blacksburg, VA area come through and turn up this May aha. On a more serious note, I say the most challenging obstacle I face with my music is trying not to be a perfectionist. With time I learned to overcome it is by simply letting the music be and see how it moves the spirit. Where would be your dream venue or place to perform? Off the top, I don't really have a dream venue in mind that I would like to preform. I feel like every chance I get to get on the stage and share my side of the story with people I don't know is a dream. So I rather just sit back and count my blessings that come my way. I will say I do dream of going back home to all the small towns I grew up in and throw a concert or festival to raise money for kids in the area. So they can have better opportunities than I did growing up. Further connect with MacIzm through the artists Instagram and Twitter! #BuzzMusic

What I loved most about this record was how they all had something different to bring to the song. Each rapper has his own style, flow, and delivery to collide with one another and still find balance in creating a union. They all have a moment to shine in the song, and each verse completely differentiates itself from the next verse. • Brianna Corona Comes Out With New Single "broken letters"

Brianna Corona is a 19 year old Canadian pop artist. She’s well known for her powerful vocals and unique and timeless tone. Beginning vocal lessons at age 6, Brianna has an expansive sound well beyond her years. She’s been performing since she was 10 and  her incredible stage presence has taken her to many notable stages such as Danforth Music Hall, Toronto Centre for the Arts, Glenn Gould Theatre, CNE Bandshell, Celebration Square, Rib-Fest Festival and many more! Not only is Corona an accomplished vocalist but she taught herself to play piano and can play the guitar and ukulele. Her songwriting skills led Brianna to release her first original song in 2016 titled, “Brightside”. In February 2019 she launched back into the music scene with another original, “African Violet” and most recently released, “broken letters”. This spectacular single “broken letters” starts off strong with Brianna Corona’s incredible and radiant vocals. The pop synths are well produced and fit perfectly with  Brianna’s melodious voice and poetic lyrics. “broken letters” is a broken-hearted love ballad, you can hear the aching memories in Brianna’s vocals. My favorite lyric “Still wearing your sweater” really resonates with me and it’s proof that Brianna is able to connect and relate to her audience in a sincere way. There’s an arrangement of catchy back-beats that keep the track flowing and alluring. At only 19 years old, Brianna Corona is able to write emotionally-rich lyrics and perform them effortlessly with mesmerizing harmonies and tones. I love the echoing and fading elements at the very end of the piece “broken letters”. It’s proof that every detail of the song was extremely well produced and well written. Brianna’s vocal range in “broken letters” sets her apart from other pop artists in a big way. She’s currently working on an EP, set to be released late summer 2019 and were counting down the days! Listen to "broken letters" now on Spotify, and check below for Brianna's interview with BuzzMusic! Hi Brianna! Can you start by telling us more about yourself and your upbringing? I grew up in a family of 5, but with very close relatives. Family has always been the most important around me. I was raised in an environment where musical involvement was encouraged, but not exactly popular. No one else in my family sings or has attempted to pursue music. Still, at the end of the day, my parents have always been supportive of whatever makes their kids happiest. I was always a bit more of an introvert, which may have also pulled me towards things like music & fitness to let my emotions out. When I’m not singing or working, you can probably find me out on a run! But after high school I developed a very practical point of view and I decided I would keep music as a hobby. Going to post-secondary made me realize how much I missed doing what I love. It wasn’t until about a year ago that I decided to finally put my all into music. I think that having grown up with the discipline and education that I did, I’ll be able to take on whatever this path brings me. Is “Broken Letters” inspired by real events in your life? Yes, broken letters was actually written when I was reflecting upon a problematic relationship. At the time, I was feeling a bit drained from pouring my heart into something that wasn’t working out very well. I knew that I was missing how things used to be with this person, but I didn’t know why things were so different. For me, the main idea behind “broken letters” is the outcome of a lack of communication. That was the biggest issue, and such an important factor in any relationship. “I can’t understand it, understand you anymore”, as I say in the pre-chorus, was truly how I felt about things at the time. What’s your writing process like? Almost any time I’m feeling inspired, emotional, or not really my normal self, I write down my thoughts or begin a melody on the piano. I don’t actually sit down and decide I’m going to write a song. I think the best songs begin from a spur of the moment, whether it’s based off of an experience or just a feeling. Once I have a line or melody, I pretty much just let my ideas run wild and go with the flow. I’ll record voice memos and edit parts of the song. It’s usually super late at night that I’m writing, and I’ll stay up hours working until I have almost a whole song (roughly done). My biggest concern is that I want to make sure I’m expressing the message or emotion that I started with. What artists inspire you? There are so so many artists I could name as influences and favourites. But I’d say some of the one’s that inspire me most are Jessie J, Sia, The 1975, H.E.R, and Troye Sivan. What I love about these artists is that they’re just so true to their style of music and the soul they put into it. Their writing is incredible in such different ways, with powerful and relatable messages. Can you give us a hint to how many new songs will be on your EP this summer? Let’s just say I’m aiming for a small collection of stories, one to listen to roughly each week day! I really can’t wait to share more music with people, hopefully making an impact like I know lots of music has on me. • Get Hooked On rIVerse’s “Rock Wit U”

Diverse and powerful group rIVerse are from Toronto, Canada. The four members fuse their individuality together to form a fun pop and R&B sound. Catchy songs, harmonically-rich vocals and high energy performances give rIVerse a level up on today’s music scene. The members of rIVerse, who include different backgrounds, races, genders, sexual orientation and body types, are large advocates of self-acceptance. A group that is familiar with delivering flawless live performances, they began touring in 2012 and since then have performed all over Canada, US, and even did a tour in South Korea in 2018. Their positive vibe and infectious beat are evident in their hit single, “Rock Wit U”.  The group’s chemistry is so strong it comes through my speakers. When I hear this song I can picture a fun and eclectic group of friends and it makes me want to party to this track all summer long. “Rock Wit U” has an old school back-beat with modern and brilliant lyrics. My favorite part is the verse that begins with “Island girl, Trinidad” that's when a female member of the group really delivers the solidifying R&B piece to the overall fresh and funky “Rock Wit U”. rIVerse has fans all over the world with over 100K Youtube subscribers and growing! It’s not difficult to see why. With so much success already, stay on look out for what rIVerse will brings us next. Add some fresh vibes to your Spotify playlist by adding "Rock Wit U" and scroll below for the groups personalized interview with BuzzMusic! Can you introduce the members of the group? Hi! We are Dizz, Khadija, Zak & Monroe and we make up the pop/R&B group, rIVerse. How did you all meet and get started with rIVerse? We all met in 2008 when we were all members of the cast for a stage adaptation of High School Musical 2 here in Toronto. We have all been friends for over 10 years. Dizz has had the vision to create a group like this since he was 14-years-old, so over the next few years, he spoke with and worked with each member on various projects until we settled on this current lineup and rIVerse was born! We've been creating music together ever since. What country do you hope you can tour someday? rIVerse is ready to share our music and our message with the world! If the phone rang right now with an opportunity to travel to different cities and countries all across the globe and connect with new audiences, we would be ready to hop on a plane tonight! What personal experiences drove you to create such a meaningful message behind the self-accepting nature of rIVerse? We have always heard that the magic of rIVerse is in the four of us together, and seeing how our individual talents work together. Pretty early on, we realized that was something to highlight in our brand. But, several years ago, rIVerse actually split up and stopped making music together for about one year. At that time, we were receiving a lot of pressure from management and other outside forces that really fed into the fears and insecurities society feeds us about being "good enough." Our mandate was sharing a message of self-acceptance, but we were being told that the music industry and the world in general would not accept a diverse group like ours. We really had to take time to re-evaluate, focus on loving ourselves, and re-establishing the bond between the four of us to be ready to face the world again, as a united front. That is why we changed our name to rIVerse, spelled with a capital IV which is the roman numeral for 4 -- this group is four members who each offer something unique and powerful, exactly as we are, and it's through uplifting and supporting one another that we show the world that our diversity is our strength. • K.P Killaprince Tells Our Readers Who They Are With “Stay Strong”

They come from the mean streets of South Carolina, pushing for their dreams and tries to remain positive, refusing to settle for less and never giving up. K.P Killaprince released the single “Stay Strong” featuring Kashly Lyles & Crown Royal. “Stay Strong” is an inspiring record that seems to be a personal reflection of the artists story and lifestyle. They channel their personal life experiences into their songwriting with a passionate delivery and strong vocal articulation in the hook. “We gonna make it” is the highlighting repetitive hook that expresses the theme of “Stay Strong”. We loved how raw the song was. Instead of rapping about the jewels, fast-life, and women, they rap about something they personally can relate too instead of fabricating an image people believe is the representation of hip-hop culture.  K.P Killaprince projects a specific authentic nature to their character that’s alluring and addictive. This uplifting project gives off themes of dedication, passion, and determination. Their flow was clean, and delivered with a strong punch of intensity. Turning lemons into lemonade seems to be the reflecting essence of “Stay Strong”. Their powerful lyrics and moving melodies are the core ingredients of a hit record. Give a listen to "Wine & Dine" on Spotify, and check below for ForMula's exclusive interview with BuzzMusic! What are some challenges you’ve faced in your career so far? How do you overcome them? In-house production is definitely one obstacle that comes to mind. Currently, I look through 150+ beats before selecting one to lease or purchase. Because I often change the mood of my songs, all the singles I have released have been composed by different producers. I am looking to find a producer and lock in with her/him to obtain in-house production and a more unique sound. Tell us about “Wine & Dine” and the meaning behind it? Wine&Dine is all about that one person. The one person who just takes the words right out of your mouth and the air right out of your lungs. It's all about treating them - Wine and Dining them, if you will. Wine&Dine was my debut studio single and it premiered on YouTube along with a crisp visual. It has since amassed over 25,000 views and over 15,000 streams on Spotify alone. What inspired you to write “Wine & Dine” ? I heard the instrumental, produced by KingLeeBoy and WannOnTheBeat and immediately began writing. I could hear the melodies in my head and I felt incredibly inspired. I wrote the song in just 2 days, and purchased the exclusive rights to the production. I showed a couple friends, their responses were overwhelmingly positive. Some advice I was given was to get the song recorded professionally and mixed - I did just that. How does the title of the song reflect its theme? The title Wine&Dine sparks thoughts of luxurious dining experiences paired with an exquisite selection of wine. What better way to treat "the one"? What’s next for you this summer? Any exciting upcoming shows? "Pros•per" will be releasing on the 2nd anniversary of the premiere of Wine&Dine - August 20th, 2019. "Pros•per" is my debut EP featuring 7 songs and no other artists. I have written and recorded many melodies - just playing around with cadence at this point and developing new ideas. Connect with ForMula on the artists Facebook and Instagram! #BuzzMusic
