- Brooklyn Rapper Releases Killer Track "Fashion Nova"
Sergio Nieves born Jan. 19, 1990, better known by his stage name "East the Unsigned", is an American rapper from Brooklyn, New York. Since the age of 17 yrs old, he has been committed to developing his own style of music and sound. Using a popular mainstream fashion brand for inspiration, East the Unsigned released his single “Fashion Nova”. "Fashion Nova" is a witty and slightly comical yet an addicting hit I can see doing highly well on radio airplays cross stations. “Pretty mama, way that body fit that fashionnova” he raps. “Shoot my shot like curry, high like swish”. East The Unsigned has this brilliant way of lyrically delivering amusing lines that I’m sure people won’t be able to get enough of! The banging beat has this addicting bass where you’re just evoked to play the song in your car and jam along. I believe East the Unsigned strategically manufactured this song together based on the current generation taste, style, and what’s trending. He used the current society trends to fuse in his own rap style and create a wavy hit that people will be automatically intrigued by due to the popular clickbait in the title. The way he executed it was brilliant and showed a level of artistry and skill on a high caliber. Check out "Fashion Nova" now on Spotify, and scroll below for the artist's exclusive interview! What was the inspiration behind the name “East The Unsigned”? East is a name that relates to me as in being from the East Coast and more specifically East New York (Brooklyn). The name East also stands for "Educated Artist Setting Trends". As far as “the Unsigned” goes, that comes from being an Independent artist. You’re the founder of “Swag Heavy Entertainment”, can you tell us a little bit about this and what you guys do? Swag Heavy Entertainment is a label that I created which consists of myself and my artist Blasé. Early on we started with 6 members, which some eventually decided music wasn’t their passion. We release music under the label in hopes to turn into a well-known Independent label in the near future. What was the creation process like for your album "Unsigned"? What was your main vision for your album? The creation process was actually an extensive one, being that this was my first self-produced album. The main vision was to have my debut album untouched by anyone else so that I could showcase what I bring to the music industry (some tracks on the album was co-produced by my brother Zini). Since I received great feedback about "Unsigned", I am currently working on "Unsigned 2" which I plan to release in 2019. Fashion Nova is a popular clothing brand that’s breaking sales today, how did you manage to create a hit surrounding it? I like to try and make relatable music, and what is more relatable right now than Fashion Nova? I figured with the way the ladies and even some men rock Fashion Nova, I would be able to market the song well because it is a brand people know and like. What’s next for you? Currently, I’m in the middle of writing, producing, mixing, and distributing all my own music. Being multi-talented is my way of trying to break into this industry one way or another to then become successful. So to answer your question, what’s next for me is Success. - NYC Artist Kfir Releases His New Single “Outta Love”
Currently based in New York, performing artist Kfir had a musically diverse upbringing resulted in him finding a love of music and performance. Kfir would spend his life pursuing the arts which brought him to take classical ballet training and eventually to Broadway and is now releasing his first EP. Starting by writing poetry, Kfir took it further by adding music to it. A theatrical influence is heard in Kfir’s track, “Outta Love” along with his powerful and soulful vocals. A mix of pop and soul and sultry vocals, “Outta Love” bounces on the rims of angst and a sorrowful ballad. The rhythmic element to it with what seems to be hand claps brings a depth to the buildup to the chorus. Kfir has a distinct sound while keeping a modern and trendy sound that is easily digestible for radio play while keeping his own vibe. The harmonies are beautiful along with the string section making for a stark contrast, yet complimenting each other accordingly. The message of the song is a somewhat diss to an ex lover, begging the question of when they decided to fall out of love , pinning them to explain their actions. A classy way to call out someone for their wrongdoings is to write a song about them, and Kfir does that in “Outta Love”. Listen to "Outta Love" here. - Mt. Meru Delivers Exhilarating Hit “The Paradox”
Having spent the last few years performing in and around the Bay Area, building a solid foundation and reputation for themselves as a band, the three-piece outfit Mt. Meru, formerly known as YesterYear, posses a wide array of influences grounded in folk, indie, and pop and are sure to keep you captivated whilst staying true to the simplistic nature of a once two-man acoustic act. For fans of Iron & Wine, Sufjan Stevens, Elliott Smith, Conor Oberst, Nick Drake, M Ward, etc. We have a cultivating act with captive music to ease your mood. Mt. Meru released their single titled “The Paradox” with gorgeous guitar melodies and striking vocals, they completely enrapture you into a realm of relaxation, peace, and confidence in yourself and your current mood. Each member played an important role in bringing together the production of this hit and it was quite noticeable in the music. "The Paradox" is everything indie. The style of indie music to me is enticing with mystic vibes. I recall the first time I’ve heard an indie song and became instantly fascinated with the genre. If I heard "The Paradox" prior before my discovery of this unique genre I’d have that same amazement I had in 2014. It hits you like a wrecking ball with detailed melodies and precise instrumental playing. Everything about this band and the music they create is raw and uncut to me. Due to bands having the ability to put their skills to use (guitars, drums, bass, etc.) I have more of a profound respect for them as artists because everything is more natural and authentic rather than computerized and everything about Mt. Meru and "The Paradox" is authentic in nature. The song just felt genuine, and honest, something refreshing to not only your mood but your playlist. "The Paradox" delves right in all your playlists that contains nothing but quality and comforting music to help get you through the day. Don't miss out by giving a listen to "The Paradox" and checking out this bands exclusive interview below! Hey Mt. Meru, care to introduce yourself to our readers? Hi there! We are Mt. Meru, we are made up of: Scott: Guitar/Vocals Andrew: Guitar/ Vocals Robby: Bass We all grew up in the Easy Bay Area of Northern California and have been playing around the Bay Area for some time now, with some out of state shows here and there. We initially started as a two man acoustic act, frequenting smaller venues and open mics before branching out and adding a band in 2016! We recently released our self-produced, self-titled debut album, which is available through Spotify, Apple Music and Bandcamp! What made you decide to change your stage name? We had been performing as YesterYear for a while as an acoustic duo, but then added a couple band members which really changed our sound, so we thought we should spice it up with a new name! We also just generally weren't super stoked on the name YesterYear anymore so we wanted to change it up. Mt. Meru refers to a concept in Eastern religion that there is a center of the universe where the physical and metaphysical worlds meet, which is supposedly at Mt. Meru. And no we aren't implying that our music is at the center of the universe...but we thought it was a cool idea! Where is your favorite venue to perform live? That's a tough one! I would have to go with Neck of the Woods, a venue we have frequented here in San Francisco. We had started by playing the open mic there a few times when we were just starting out and loved it! We recently held our album release show there and can't say enough about the great sound and the aesthetics of the venue! The whole booking process is also very smooth, which is always a massive plus. Amazing new single! Can you tell us a bit about the creation of “The Paradox” ? The song evolved pretty slowly and took some years to be fully written and recorded. I remember the melody of the chorus came to me (Scott) randomly while I was walking around one day, and didn't have an instrument with me. It stuck with me though and I wanted to make it into a song somehow. So I had that as the base, and then sat down at the piano one day and wrote the music to the verse and pre-chorus around it. After the lyrics were done I started recording it and eventually it was finished! We recorded this song and all of the songs on the album at home, and we recorded all the instruments ourselves (Andrew and Scott). What’s the message you're trying to deliver to your fans in the song? I guess I was trying to say that life is confusing and painful but we have a choice about what we do about that, and how we respond to what we're given, both internally and externally. It can also be frustrating that there's all these rules and concepts that were invented before our birth and we're just kind of thrown into this thing and have to navigate our way through it, but we can find our own way and be creative with our lives. And we don't have to rely on other people's ideas or expectations. It's also saying we should enjoy the time we do have here and find love and connection while we can....which may sound cliche but it's true! What's next for Mt. Meru through 2019? More shows! We are hoping to get out of the state again and get our name out there as much as possible! We have a few acoustic shows we'll be confirming in the coming weeks, but for the time being we are currently on the search for a drummer before we hit the ground running again, so if anyone out there is interested feel free to hit us up! - Promising RnB Artist AJIA Releases Her Record "Sentimental Easing”
Fresh out the blocks for 2019 is the emerging sublime new single titled "Sentimental Easing" by the soulful songstress Ajia. The track sees her team up once again with rising hot producer Mr Ryan Price. Together they have delivered a piece of magic. Bringing old school RnB into a wider mainstream audience is their ultimate goal. Ajia is hoping to establish herself as one of modern RnB’s most fascinating voices and we believe she may accomplish that goal with a record like “Sentimental Easing”. “Sentimental Easing” has a lustrous introduction that remains consistent throughout the duration of this glossy song. With smooth-sailing vocals and a texturized instrumental, Ajia delivers a polished vibe that we can add to all our iconic RnB playlists. Aija gives a light sensual aura surrounding the record which is the epitome of most RnB music in my opinion. The genre of RnB is so beautiful because we can share a unique omen with another companion who gives us a sense of contentedness and relaxation through the soulful and passionate music. Ajia projects those quality traits and elements in "Sentimental Easing" which in my opinion, creates a more lasting effect of longevity if we’re thinking about how successful the record could be. "Sentimental Easing" could translate well across all you organic and incense lighting rnb fans or even those who are more into the urban subculture of RnB music where they contain suave vocal resonance but on a more trap sounding beat. Ajia created such a digestible song that it could be inevitably weave between the lines of both! Catch Ajia's "Sentimental Easing" now on Spotify, and scroll down to read on Ajia's inspiration for her EP. Let’s talk a little bit more about your past EP “Visions”. It seemed to generate a lot of great buzz for you! What was your favorite song off the EP and why? I would say real love as it was the first time I was truly honest and 100% open about something that was happening in my life. Before that I would speak 20% of my truth in my music. Since ‘Real Love ‘ I’ve been an open book which had been so therapeutic for me. Speaking on the name of the EP, was there any set future you had for it? My aim is always to spread happiness and love and want everyone to feel the joy I do every time I play a song . The future goal is for everyone to hear my music world wide spreading that excitement I get when I hear my favourite song. What was your inspiration behind writing sentimental easing? This song came from a conversation I had with friends about relationships where some just didn’t want to get into anything serious anymore and just wanted to focus on self love. Some of them felt like the word love had lost its meaning because it was said so much it became nothing more than just a word. In this day and age where we hear about people breaking up and getting a divorce on a daily the idea of true love seems so rare. There’s been many times where I’ve watched romantic movies with my friend and we’re like “this doesn’t happen in real life”. The idea of love at this point seems like a thing that happens in fairytale. What’s next for you Ajia? A lot more new music, more live shows and more collaborations. - Jay Cruz Gives Us Lyrical Wavy Hit "Off The Island"
Jay Cruz, a 21 year old Brooklyn born and Staten Island raised rapper who uses his past experiences as ammo for his music and his drive to make it to the top. Jay Cruz is a former college athlete who dealt with some troubling times in Virginia that led to the creation of his artistry and brand today. In his first week of college, Jay was arrested and would soon fall under the NCAA eligibility requirements, ending his long run of college baseball. This is where the story of Jay Cruz was born, as the artist was made to tell his struggles that got him into music and continuing by telling his everyday life thoughts and dreams. Jay Cruz released his single titled “Off The Island” to represent a reflection of his thoughts and his hunger to be something greater than his environment. I really loved this record for the simple fact that it highlights how passionate Jay is for his music. Many rappers nowadays lack a specific amount of passion and it’s the sole reason for their content not reaching its full potential. We know many rappers who because aren’t completely motivated in a serious manner and lack focus on longevity, but Jay definitely is not one of them. By listening to “Off The Island” I received the impression that Jay Cruz was a rapper who could be easily misinterpreted by others in his life. However, he knows what he wants and is willing to put in the hard work to reach that goal! Here you have a nice beat that necessarily doesn’t have much flavor to it yet it received loads of personality by the artist himself. Jay delivered a perfect flow and a charismatic hook to emphasize the beat which plays as a foundation for rap records. The music video showcased the staten island environment in which I loved. I can already feel the slightly breezy cold winds just by looking at the visual he gave. Jay Cruz knows how to brand himself because his fits usually ironically fit the current environment he was in. his fashionable aesthetic was highly noticeable especially when the camera panned in to his wavy fanny packs and the fancy BMW. A dope video alongside a substantial and meaningful song is exactly what Jay needed to show the world that he is here and he’s here to stay. Check out Jay's new track "Off The Island" now on Spotify, and don't miss out on the artist's exclusive interview below! How was growing up in Brooklyn, New York? How did it influence you in choosing music as your career? To be honest, Brooklyn really didn't have an influence on my rap career. Although its historical for it's music and culture, Brooklyn is where I spent my early years as a child, and middle years as an athlete. I played two years of college baseball in Brooklyn, and also travel baseball. I moved out of Brooklyn when I was 5 but would constantly go back for sports. Is Jay Cruz also your birth name or your stage name? Has a great flow! Jay Cruz is not my birth name, it's actually my stage name. my birth name is Nathaniel Jordan Cruz, kinda has a doctor or lawyer ring to it lol. "Jay" Cruz comes from a couple things. one the J in my middle "jordan" two my fashion sense. I feel like most artist with the name jay in front of there names aren't actually named jay. I feel like artists with '"jay" in there name are built for swag, and great style, great flow, great sound. Lastly though, a big reason for the "jay" comes from a big influence in a Brooklyn rapper named "jay critch" from Clinton Hills, BK. I'm a big fan and hope we get to make a song together one day. use to listen to a lot of Critch, right before i started rapping. Off The Island sounds like a hit. Is this your first song you’ve ever created? Off The Island was not my first song ever created but it most definitely was one of the most meaningful songs I've created. My first song ever created was called "50 Hours". A song based on the community service hours given to me for a charge I committed in Fredericksburg, VA. The birthplace of Jay Cruz and music. I knew Off The Island was a hit when I made it though. Mainly because of the message I was giving off in the song. Especially being from the "forgotten borough" Staten Island. A lot of artists on Staten Island tend to make songs at one point in their career showing love to their hometown, where I took the initiative to be the first one to title the song based on how I'd like to make it off my island, not show love to it. This also stems from the fact that there are over 35 cites in the world that listen to me more than my own island does. "Staten Island" New York Birthed some of the most iconic and legendary rap talent known to date. Who are some of your NY faves both past and present? My all time favorite New York rapper ever is undoubtedly The Notorious B.I.G. hence, why I have him tattooed on the middle of my chest. Following Biggie would have to be Tupac. Many look at Tupac as just a west coast artist but forget he was born in East harlem. I also have tupac tatted on my chest but from the motion picture he starred in called "Juice" a very famous new york movie. I've always liked jay z, 50 cent, dmx, fab. Now out of New York I like Jay Critch, 6ix9ine, Bobby Shmurda, Rowdy Rebel, Don Q, Dave East, Young M.A. A boogie, the list continues. New York's been doing their thing in music the past 5 years. Where do you hope to see your music career by the end of the year? By the end of 2019 I hope to see my music on the radio. I hope to have gained an actual fan base where I can do shows and interact with my fans and truly give back all the love and support they've shown me. I hope to have a song on youtube with a million views, and I hope to feature with some of my favorite artists in the game. God willingly. - Kyle Alexander Shakes Up The Rap Game With “Oh My God”
Kyle Alexander is one of those rare rap artists with a compelling story to tell. All about sharing his own experiences into his music and truly connecting with his listeners with a sharp, witty, and outstanding lyrical flow. Kyle’s life hasn’t always been easy, in fact he endured a lot of pain and hard times however, he decided to not give up in the face of adversity and instead, use the hardship as a way to fuel his creative endeavors and reach out to other people! But get ready to become ‘shook’ by Kyle’s release of “Oh My God”. We can promise you this song is a hit from immediate hearing. The banging beat was the first hint of a mainstream smashing record that’s going to be blasted on various stereos having people creating facial expressions due to how grimy the bass is. The aggressive trap/rap sound we love is apparent. His flow was impeccable. The amount of breathe control that Kyle has and his ability to be so lyrical advanced in his music is highly favorable. His lyrics holds actual substantial meaning behind the witty flow and catchy bars. I was able to actually invest myself into his appealing rap style for the moment. It reminds me a lot of those highly respectable rappers that’s known for their insane flow’s, lyricism, and marketable music to back it! This includes rappers like Kendrick Lamar, Jay-Z, Logic, Etc. Kyle Alexander is the next rap prodigy that you may not know is creeping up like a black sheep! Give a listen to Kyle Alexander's "Oh My God" here, and check below for the artist's exclusive interview covering his latest track! What inspired you to begin rapping? I was inspired to rap when I was a really small child. I may have been around 5 or 6 when I first heard Kriss Kross “Jump” I actually still remember the first time I heard that song, I fell in love with hiphop at that point. I also still remember the first rap I ever wrote lol. When I was in school we used to have rap battles in the lunch room. The Clipse “Grinding” was the beat used for most of the battles. One of my boys would be the beatbox and hit the beat on the table while the rest of us would rap to the beat. One day, I went home and wrote a 16 to the beat and I wrapped it in front of all of my friends and they went crazy! That’s when I knew I really loved hiphop and was inspired to try to do something with it one day. Rap music has undergone a transition overtime, it’s interesting to hear about others perspective over the genre now. What’s your opinion on the current state of hip-hop? I think hip-hop is in a great place right now! We have artists that breaking down barriers and setting records every year! Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Cole, Cardi B and Meek are the strongest voices of this generation right now. You have the Legends of the game like Hov and Snoop and Ye still making dope music and you also have the new rappers like Gunna, Lil Baby, Uzi, etc that are making a lane for themselves as well. Hip-hop is everywhere right now! In movies, tv shows, commercials, it has even been used in political campaigns. Do you have any rap influences? If so who and why? My rap influences are Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar and Lecrae. They all have a unique way to give a message in their music and they don’t compromise the message that they believe in. Knowing that you write all your music, is there a lack of respect for the rappers who doesn’t self-write? There is only a lack of respect for those rappers that don’t write their own music if they try to say that they're the best rapper of all time or that they’re a top 10 rapper. Then their credibility is in question. Other than that, if a rapper has someone help him write a song and it’s a hit, i think that’s ok. Some times great music can come from a collaboration. Can you freestyle? Absolutely! That’s actually how I first started rapping. I also, write all of songs by freestyling and memorizing what I say if I like it enough. Then I go back later and write it down. If you can collaborate with any artist now that’s not in your genre who would you select and why? If I could work with any artist it would probably be Chris Brown or Lauryn Hill. They are both amazing artists with powerful voices. They are very creative and I think we could make some incredible music together. What’s next for you Kyle? Next for me is the release of my video for my single “Oh My God” and the release of the video for “Living My Truth” I also have a new single “Lit” that will be released soon. I have a freestyle series that I’m starting in March as well. I plan on releasing two solo EP’s this year and I’m also going to try to feature on 10 songs this year with other artists. A lot of amazing music on the way! Keep up to date with Kyle through the artist's socials: Facebook Instagram Twitter #BuzzMusic
- Ute Gives Us Her Inspirational Take On "We Won't Stop Dreaming"
Ute is as different as different gets! However without doing too much, she keeps to a simplistic nature while remaining a standout act. Her vocal skills has got her singing the national anthem for a football team for a long running 8 years. With a timeless, soft, and smooth jazz. Ute delivers melodies that sends chills down your spine. Her recent release “We Won’t Stop Dreaming” changed my entire current outlook on things. The inspirational lyrics moves you into a place where you need to be moved too. She gives you a sense of encouragement, and a feeling of a hope. This song is perfect for those who may be going through a time of despair and sadness. Although the melancholic piano keys produces beautiful melodies to create a rather gloomy vibe, it connects with you and your emotions on a deep and progressive level. You feel not only sad but also feel excited for what’s to come. Ute's voice is riveting. She doesn’t do any full ranged belts or excessive register changes but she still manages to give you a solid idea of how skilled she is with her voice while keeping a dimmed effect on the potential of her shifting through a whole new pitch and volume. Keeping the dynamics simple was smart on her end because in this case, you would want the piano and backtrack to blend in smoothly with your voice rather your beat sound like it’s fading away in the background. Ute could easily be a largely marketed success! Be sure to listen to Ute's unique take on "We Won't Stop Dreaming"! Connect with the artist, and keep updated with her latest activity and recent releases via her Youtube! #BuzzMusic
- Stonekite Releases Their Second Single “Something”
Stonekite is a Belgian band whom consists of Didier and Deiter Steenhaut. Both of the artists write their own lyrics and create their own melodies. Their second single “Something” is a nice and exciting piece of music that if it reaches a large wide audience, we believe people can become moved and touched by the extravagant piece. The alternative sounding instrumental is a nice mixture between electronics and pop music. It’s uplifting with great melodies and a refreshing drive. "Something" has an atmospheric and sensational aura where everything feels intricate and detailed, adding a musical abduction into our ears where you become captive to the cultivating music and feel the self-indulgence. It’s a replenishing sound that’s quite exhilarating and can help eliminate any toxic feeling that may have been crowding your mood prior. The vocal resonance and melody reminds me of those extremely enticing bands like The Neighbourhood, where their meticulous curation of their music creates a feeling of comfort and opens up a door to absorb you inside. I love the gorgeous sounds from the guitar and the rhythmic drum motion that manufactures the beat into something quite engrossing. You will surely feel “something” while listening to “Something”. Check out Stonekite's "Something" now on Spotify, and read below for the bands exclusive interview, touching in on the meaning behind their second release! What’s the inspiration behind your name “Stonekite” ? When we thought of it, we found it exciting because it is a contradiction. A kite made of stone… an interesting thought… almost a ‘Magritte’ painting. A kite refers to something exciting, uplifting, liberating. We hope about our music the same. Tell us a little bit about your first release “Lovely Eyes” what was the meaning behind that song? Within the song ‘Lovely Eyes’ you can find the same idea… an atmosphere of an uplifting, a refreshing encounter. We are a positive band, we like to look at things in a positive way. You can see that lightness in people’s eyes… eyes are the mirror of the soul. So, that’s where ‘Lovely Eyes’ comes from. Any major differences between your first release and your most recent? There is a kind of a line in our music… not that we have a fixed idea about it. There is no script. Still we give our pianoparts and the instruments which create an atmosphere much attention. That atmosphere is the backbone of STONEKITE. Again, there are no theories… we follow what we feel. That is an honest way of creating. For example, in our latest song ‘SOMETHING’ we added an effect on the voice in the verses. We are not used to this. Still we thought it suited the idea behind the song: a numb feeling in the verse in contrast with an uplifting chorus of spiritual height. So we did it. What’s the meaning behind “Something” ? Everybody needs to find belief in something (or someone). The idea of not being alone… of finding happiness or healing in the world around us is carved in the human soul. “Me alive, you alive, we arise…” is in fact a realistic way of looking at the world. We’re alive… so these are the cards we hold in our hands. To believe in something or someone is a way to play with these cards. Belief, hope and love make the game much more enjoyable. Any exciting upcoming live performances? At this moment there are plans to play concerts in autumn 2019. We are working on that and the rehearsals have already started. - Tinu Adams Releases Hot Single "Gone"
Atlanta based artist, Tinu Adams is a singer-songwriter that is originally from New York. At the age of 11, she started songwriting and that’s when she first fell in love with music. Currently, Adams is working on new projects and is prepared to enter the music industry, hoping to inspire her listeners with her music. Tinu’s style is unique due to her raspy voice along with influences from Nigerian singer Asa, Amy Winehouse, and Erykah Badu. A laid back vibe starts off Tinu’s track titled, “Gone”. The sounds of mid boards and synths along with a somewhat pop rhythm makes for an interesting genre that is definitely a style of her own. The closest description of the genre would probably be alternative with slight hints of pop. The melody of "Gone" is unique combining verses where she speaks with an overlapping harmony creating a cool effect. Tinu's lyrics are concise and blunt when talking about the subject which seems to be an ex who has cheated on her and she is finding her strength of not wanting or needing them. Tinu has a very unique tone and quality to her voice making it a statement and sets herself apart from other artists. Tinu Adams is a very talented artist and will surely bring great music to the table with her upcoming projects. Don't forget to check out Tinu's "Gone" here, and give the artist's exclusive interview below a read! How would you describe your genre of music? You have a very unique sound that we love! To be honest I don’t categorize myself under a specific genre of music. I have a soulful voice but I can create R&B, Pop, Jazz, dance and many more styles of music. My goal is to use my voice to create something different, connect to different demographics, and define my own style but not limited to a specific genre. What made you do some of your verses (in “Gone”) with you simultaneously speaking and singing? The speaking part of the song was impromptu, I was feeling it in the moment while I was recording and I just threw it in there. “Gone” was initially a freestyle I did on the beat of the song; I ended up turning the freestyle into a full song, switched up the lyrics and went with the flow of the beat based on how I felt. What inspires you to song write in general? Song writing helps me express myself in many ways I can’t express myself in person, it helps me tell stories about myself and things we all go through in the world. I want my music to connect with many out there who might be going through many things I write about and I want my music to help people heal and feel good in general. The instrumental of a song also inspires what I write about, I am able to tell a story based on how the instrumental makes me feel. How long did it take you to write, “Gone”? Less than 30 minutes. What made you move to Atlanta, and has this influenced how you write your music? I moved to Atlanta to pursue my music career and follow my dreams as an artist. I feel like Atlanta is a great place to be right now for upcoming artists and I would have a better opportunity to network, build my brand and put myself out there. Moving to Atlanta has not influenced how I write yet but I’m always excited to try something new. Stay connected with Tinu through the artist's social media platforms: Instagram Twitter #BuzzMusic
