The Canadian singer-songwriter began his musical journey with piano and guitar, leading him to shift his focus onto telling his own stories. After quickly realizing that songwriting is a way to relay his thoughts through song, IVAN's music career quickly flourished with sounds that are both intriguing and familiar. After strictly writing and composing, IVAN came out the gates swinging with his debut single, "Eyes For Her." Back and better than ever, IVAN is showing no signs of slowing down with the release of his sophomore single, "Just Like That." It's a smooth-sailing and ear-pleasing pop/r&b alternative tune that dances through the speakers with all the love, lust, and affection you could imagine. Immersing ourselves in "Just Like That," the experience begins with soft guitar picking alongside IVAN's deep, whispery vocals that bring a sense of passion and lust to the song's atmosphere. His lyrics deliver the same themes, depicting all sorts of sensual scenes with lyrics about going crazy when his partner does it "Just Like That." There is no better song to add to your spicy playlist. In the words of IVAN, it gives you that "mmm, kind of feel." The smooth pop/r&b production merged with the organic electric guitar picking, and fluttery keyboard melodies bless us with all the good vibes and then some. From IVAN's stunning vocal harmonies to his gripping lyrics, this song is quite an engaging listening experience. When you're ready to float onto cloud nine with a dash of sensuality, dive into the spicy sonic world of IVAN's new single, "Just Like That," now available on all digital streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, IVAN. We're head over heels for the sensual and passionate vibe of your sophomore single, "Just Like That." What led you to create such a playful and intimate song like this? Although definitely both sensual and passionate, the song was written with the intention of expressing true love for that special someone that is not only deep but complex in nature. The song may allude to a few things, but the underlying message is loving someone for all they are and do, “Just Like That.” How would you describe the sound of "Just Like That" in terms of genres? Did any sounds or artists influence this song? My sound overall can be a little tricky to categorize as it pulls from a variety of influences, as my taste in music can be all over the place. Now particularly regarding “Just Like That”, I feel as though it can be classified as Pop with elements of RnB and a hint of Singer-Songwriter. While writing, I can’t say that any one artist influenced this song, but I definitely wanted to encapsulate a contemporary sound that was both melodic and rhythmic. What was your songwriting process like for "Just Like That?" What sort of scenes and visuals did you want to paint for the listener? The writing process started out as it normally would, with either a guitar or piano at hand and a pen and paper nearby. I wrote the bones for this particular song with guitar and then was able to go on and develop the sound and direction I wanted. As the song came to life, I reached out to some good friends of mine to help take the song to the next level. Nevon Sinclair (@workingwithnevon) lent his outstanding voice to help with harmonies and background vocals. And Jacob Smith (@mybestfriendjacob_) provided his skillful production to bring the rhythm and percussion to a place where you really felt it. Chris Forte (@chrispyriffs) played his guitar exceptionally, as he always does. Finally, Ben Zweig (@benzweigmusic) helped piece it all together to deliver a great-sounding mix/master. The visual I wanted to paint, as brought up earlier, was of a love that is both sensual and passionate. And I knew immediately that I wanted that to be portrayed through dance. There is something both physical and emotional about dance, particularly between a couple, and that is exactly what the song addresses, the physical and emotional parts of a loving relationship. How can listeners get to know you and your style better through your two released songs, "Eyes For Her" and "Just Like That?" How do these songs represent you? Through my current music, I hope listeners can see that although I may touch on various genres, there is still that unique IVAN sound, and I believe it will be even more evident with the later releases. At the root of it all, I am a storyteller, and I want to provide my own perspectives on classic themes while making melody-driven songs that ultimately make you feel something. What's next for you? What’s next for me is more music! There are a few songs lined up, with a few being recorded as we speak. As mentioned, I also just released a visualizer for “Just Like That”, which can be seen on my YouTube channel. I have some neat visuals to go along with future songs in the works as well. Finally, I’m looking forward to performing live shows soon. Any updates on music, shows, etc., will all be posted on my socials @soundslikeivan. Instagram

  • "Another Night" Dancin' and Chillin' To Kruel Summer

"Another Night" is Kruel Summer’s newest release, featuring exciting vocals and a damn sexy beat. It will be hard not to sway and jump around while singing this song out loud at the beach. A developing rock alternative reggae rock group from San Jose, California, is called Kruel Summer. Clev Stiles (formerly of The Holdup), Ben Dimmit, Shane Billings, and Chris Reed make up the band Kruel Summer. With its unrivaled sound and style, the eclectic band is poised to create waves in the scene. Kruel Summer has a vintage California feel that will attract listeners. It was inspired by good times and summertime vibes. By fusing distinctive components from many genres, Kruel Summer seeks to push the boundaries of music. Their eclectic sound combines hip-hop, rock, indie rock, pop, and reggae. The California natives' upbeat sound, impulsive flair, and contagious lyricism will draw listeners into the universe they create with each new album they produce. "Another Night" starts off with a sexy bass line and powerful lyrics that transition into a slow-paced and sensual beat that invites the listener to dance and sing along. This song is bound to be a hit, the musical prowess of Kruel Summer is undoubtedly there; let’s just hope this song makes its way out there and shocks the world. Prepare to chill for ‘’Another Night’’; this song is a great excuse to fool around under the summer sun and have the time of your life. The lyrics are potent and carry weight, so let the good times roll and let go. Welcome to BuzzMusic Kruel Summer. It's a pleasure to have you back. Jumping straight in, where does the energy come from? "Another Night" is infectious. "Another Night" is, in my opinion, one of our, if not the best, songs we have. The energy comes from that feeling you get in early June when you know the summer is right around the corner. For me, the summer is always something I look forward to. I wrote "Another Night" during the early days of summer, so it naturally had that happy, upbeat vibe from the mood I was in. The excitement of enjoying the sun, going to the beach, hanging with the band, and doing shows just came out in this song. It was intended to be a feel-good summer vibe. I think our best songs come out when they are written during those early days of summer, that excitement for summer fun. What beach do you think of when you listen to "Another Night?" It actually reminds me of a few different beaches. Rio Del Mar Beach and Seacliff in Aptos are my two favorite spots. It's where we go when we want a low-key, chill beach day. For more action and activity, the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is always fun; I've been going there since I was 5 or 6 years old. It's that classic boardwalk beach you see in the movies. You actually have seen it in movies like Lost Boys, Us, and more. I got in a lot of trouble there as a teenager at the boardwalk. Dope spot! We daydream of a California sunset with a live band after a day of surfing when we hear your work. Where do you see yourselves as a group in the next two years? Touring nationally, playing music festivals, and opening shows for artists that inspire us. It would be ideal to be able to hop on a tour with bands like The Dirty Heads, Pepper, Slightly Stoopid, or Stick Figure. Those are some of the artists that have really inspired us throughout the years. Our energy, paired with these artists, would make for a killer show. What message do you want people to take away from "Another Night?" “Another Night” is for anyone dealing with stress and anxiety who needs an instant mood boost. An attempt to overturn any negative feelings of worry and stress to bring energy and happiness. An uplifting, feel-good summer song; I dare you to play this song and not instantly feel a mood boost. What's next for you? We are working on some videos to get some visuals out. It's been a while since we had a video, so we are working on a couple to get those out. We will be continuing to work on this album and continue dropping singles over the next few months. More shows are being added weekly, so follow us on our socials to stay up to date. We can't wait to party with you all at the next show! Instagram Facebook

  • Experience Kali Lu’s Authentic Portrayal Of Love In “Phoenix”

From the LA area, singer-songwriter and musician Kali Lu expresses her innermost precious moments in an intimate new single, "Phoenix." Kali Lu began singing and songwriting just five months ago after being inspired by an artist's live show. Having picked up her guitar and never looked back, Kali Lu is proud to be able to express herself through music in ways she can't do anywhere else. She's a vulnerable artist who cherishes the idea of connecting with listeners and being a sliver in their stories. Her vulnerability reaches new peaks in the stunning new single, "Phoenix," a song about purely being in the moment with someone special. It's "one of those songs where you sit down, pick up your guitar, and the music/lyrics pour out of you," said Lu. Having written the song within two days, Kali Lu is ready to share this intimate and passionate masterpiece with listeners everywhere. The new single, "Phoenix," softly opens with tender acoustic guitar picking and droning electric guitar melodies haunting the background. As Kali Lu's ghostly vocals float through the foreground, she slowly expands on those intimate moments with someone special and feels completely immersed in their sweet presence. This song is quite the lullaby, one that rocks you into daydreams of moments with those who mean the most to us. It's a chilling listening experience with equally emotional lyrics and instrumentation, and Kali Lu's gentle performance is the cherry on top. She truly has a way with words, and we're sure any listener will appreciate such an authentic portrayal of pure love. Wrap yourself in the sonic blanket that is Kali Lu's heartfelt new single, "Phoenix," now available on all digital streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Kali Lu. What was the driving force of inspiration behind such a tranquil and passionate song like "Phoenix?" What experiences led you to create it? "Phoenix" was inspired and driven by a moment in time - a connection. It was a pure moment where the past nor the future existed. The song encapsulates everything I was feeling and thinking at that moment. You mentioned that your lyrics for "Phoenix" poured out of you. Does this usually happen during your songwriting process, or was this song one of the easier ones to write? This song was extremely easy to write yet a harder song of mine to sing - the irony. The night after this moment in time, I picked up my guitar, and the guitar melody just came to me. It felt like my fingers were moving on their own. I then took everything I felt and thought, which transpired into the lyrics. I wrote this song in less than two days. This is what I meant when I said the song “poured out of me.” How would you describe your style and sound in "Phoenix?" What genres, artists, or sounds might have influenced you? This is a hard question because I do not want to be confined to a box. I like to tell people I am whatever they hear. But my songs reflect my energy, or aura, if you will. My lyrics mainly come from things I’ve felt and messages I’ve learned along the way, messages I’ve given, and messages I’ve received. I started playing music after watching an artist named mehro, live. I picked up my guitar that night, and my journey began. mehro has been a major influence. I also love Phoebe Bridgers for her lyrics - I think they are phenomenal. What impact do you want "Pheonix" to have on your listeners? What do you hope they feel from this piece? The impact I want "Phoenix" to have on people is hearing my song and feeling “something” - anything. Everyone has a story, and I’m honored to be a sliver of that story. I hope those that listen are able to get lost with me. What's next for you? I am taking every day, one at a time, and every opportunity, one at a time. I hope to keep being given the opportunity to play live and connect with you all, as it’s one of my favorite things to do. I also can’t wait to keep recording my songs and being able to share myself with you. Instagram

  • Tah’Chon Doesn't Disappoint With His New Single, "He Never Fails"

Tah'Chon is looking to create music that helps individuals connect with their religious beliefs. "He Never Fails" is a song that illustrates how God is never far away from him. "He Never Fails" is an example of what a young child's life may change when they are inspired. It demonstrates how Tah'Chon is so greatly inspired by God that even at the age of six, he is singing to the world about his love and devotion to him. Six-year-old Tah'Chon was born in Georgia. A gospel or inspirational artist uses his inspiration to share with others how important God is in his life and to inspire others to do the same. He has six singles out now, all of which demonstrate his love for God and Jesus at the age of just six. Emotion is at the heart of gospel music, and Tah'Chon is motivated by that passion in order to create his music. "He Never Fails" is a symbol of his love for God and the fact that God is the one Tah'Chon needs and who will never let him down. "He Never Fails" has an incredibly strong rhythm. The way the piano and drums are performed works really well to entice young listeners. Children might be encouraged to emulate Tah'Chon and his faith. The words are clear; they are ideal for conveying Tah'chon's message that Jesus would never let you down. The song has a strong gospel personality, the instruments are audible, and the background claps give the song a unified, recognizable vibe. The message is straightforward but simple, the rhythm is upbeat, and Tah'chon seems to be having a great time. Discover "He Never Fails" today on all streaming platforms. A very warm welcome to our youngest artist featured to date. Welcome, Tah'Chon! It’s quite fair to say we know who inspired you to write this beautiful single, "He Never Fails." How else does God inspire you? God inspires me to do good. And because of Him, I’m able to be a public servant and volunteer in my community to show others that no matter your age and size, there’s still power in your heart. Why is music the perfect way to transmit your faith in God to others? Music is an easy way for me to teach others about God because sometimes it’s still hard for me to get my words out. So when people ask me questions, my thoughts tend to run faster than the words that are coming out, if you know what I mean. Is there a message you’d like your audience to hear that you haven’t put in "He Never Fails"? Well, I would like for them to know that no matter what may come my way, I know God will see me thru. That’s why I still trust Him, and I’m ALWAYS thanking him in advance. What's next for you? Besides more music coming, I’m also working on filming a feature film that I can not wait to speak out about.

  • The Sound Of Monday Calls Us Out In "Hey, Inconsiderate!"

Neighbors got you down? Power pop group The Sound Of Monday strikes back at the space stealers, movie talkers, and egotistical interrupters with their latest single and music video, "Hey, Inconsiderate!" Frontman and vocalist Dave Jay Gerstein of the New York-based group leads a sound that blends the likes of the Attractions, an '80s David Bowie, and The Beach Boys. Known for using command over catchiness, The Sound Of Monday grabs your attention with memorable hooks, lyrics, and performances that stand the test of time. Recently releasing their latest single, "Hey, Inconsiderate!," Gerstein hits the listeners with all-too-relatable lyrics that discuss the arrogant, selfish, and inconsiderate public. From blocking the stairwell to closing the elevator doors, The Sound Of Monday tracks those moments with hilarious visuals in the "Hey, Inconsiderate!" music video. Evan Seplow's cheeky visual for the "Hey, Inconsiderate!" music video kicks off with heavy pop-punk guitar riffs and shots of children running wild, loud talkers in movie theaters, and busy subway riders. Transitioning in between scenes is Dave Jay Gerstein and The Sound Of Monday, giving it their all with a stellar live performance of their attention-commanding track that sits with you like an earworm. Gerstein's lead role in the video sees him in the midst of all the chaos, even getting on the wrong side of a small dog. As the video continues with Gerstein trying to make his way back home regardless of the list of inconveniences, he stumbles into the door only to realize that the day isn't over yet. When you're in need of something relatable with a little tongue-in-cheek humor, check out The Sound Of Monday's new music video for their single, "Hey, Inconsiderate!," now available on YouTube. Welcome to BuzzMusic, The Sound Of Monday. We love the hilarious and highly relatable single and music video for "Hey, Inconsiderate!" What inspired you to create this bluntly honest song? Thanks for having us. We really appreciate that and couldn’t have done it without the amazing collaborative talents and dedication of our Team at Mother West, TheImageFactory, Danny Weinkauf, and others. I wrote this song in the late 90s after riding the NYC subway in rush hour traffic. Fortunate to get a seat, I found myself canopied by a straphanger's NY Times directly atop my head. As I sat there in that "tight tent" just barely grazing my scalp, I screamed to him in my head, "Hey, Inconsiderate! Move your #$%@-in' newspaper!" feeble as I was at the time, anemically unable to stand up for myself. Instead, I wrote this song. Somewhat forgotten about amongst a flurry of many other songs written during this period, I pulled it out in 2003 when I'd had the opportunity to record an EP for Mother West, to be produced by Danny Weinkauf, a friend and bass player with They Might Be Giants. The tune had been written somewhat bluesy, but DW's fresh take was to make it more along the lines of an indie pop/rock anthem, and he was spot on! Now, years later, we are delighted to pull this track from the Vault and present it to you as our new single. What was it like writing such a fun yet serious song? The initial response was serious in intent (I was viscerally angry, annoyed, and wanted revenge), but humor has always been a defense and close ally. So, the Lennon influence kicked in, and my pen simply went to play on the page in acidic ink. I must confide that I don’t really like speaking that way publicly—poor form, but as is often the case (for better or worse), I couldn’t hold my figurative tongue. What was your songwriting process like for "Hey, Inconsiderate!?” Once a phrase, concept, or idea sticks in my brain, it just obsessively plays over and over, back & forth, like a brilliant, mesmerizing Chinese Ping Pong Tourney, until I was finally just enthused about picking up my guitar, pen, pad, or any scraps of paper nearby, in a flurry of inspiration, to find a musical home for it. As Mr. Burns from The Simpsons has said (paraphrasing), I needed to get it off my chest and onto the chest of my inferiors. What was it like working with Director Evan Seplow for the "Hey, Inconsiderate!" music video? Evan’s brilliant. We go way back to the early/mid-90s. We have worked on many projects together—notably, just prior to this video, his indie feature film, a zombie buddy comedy called, Trumpacolypse, which is still in production, in which I played a lead role he wrote exclusively for me. Evan & I know what each other can do, so it’s pretty comfortable in that respect, but conversely, we can push each other to make it something more, hopefully. We sat down with pads and pens and riffed on whatever scenarios of inconsideration we could think of, starting with the actual inspiration for the song (the aforementioned newspaper on the subway), which I was glad we included. He was reassuring, having made many music videos over the years, that there is a certain freedom of unreality in the music video world. While that liberty made it easier in a manner of speaking, it all just came together so neatly, including Evan’s topper of (Spoiler Alert!), my character turning out to be the inconsiderate one in the end. What was your experience shooting it? Evan helped pull together many of the logistics, cast, and crew. In many cases, we worked with actors I and/or Evan knew, including an appearance by my wife (who is not an actor but did great!) and cast members from Trumpacolypse. It was shot in February/March, so it was pretty freezing out, which only highlighted our resolve. Like any such work, it could vary between tedious and fun. Still, it was ultimately a real kick—especially working with such talented character actors and musicians—that was perhaps the most fun part for me! Do you hope that maybe some "inconsiderate" listeners might learn something and take away from "Hey, Inconsiderate!?” I love to imagine so, but realistically, I know one has to be self-aware or be willing to be. My first wish would be for people to just have fun at the expense of the inconsiderateness out there (which, sadly, I myself can be guilty of). So, laughing at ourselves too—us silly humans, and not take ourselves so seriously all the time. What was your goal with this song? My goal, subconsciously at least, is always to write something great—catchy and clever, with all the musical shapes and lyrical expressions falling neatly into place. That’s the fantasy. On a more base level, I just needed to get these feelings out, and I find pop/rock song parameters have generally been a right-sized fit for my attention span and skillset. What's next for you? I need to use the restroom—may I please be excused? Sorry…Beyond that?? We aim to continue growing our fan base, both on social and in person. We have a second video single coming out this autumn, called “The Keeper of The Mood”, which is also featured on our forthcoming EP, Quick Ear Warmer. To kick it all off, we’re playing our EP release party on Tuesday, October 11th at 7 PM sharp at Rockwood Music Hall, Stage 1, in New York City. Hope to see you there! Instagram Facebook

One, I appreciate yall for having me for real. But yeah, Life. Every day is another moment, and I tend to bring the best and worst ones into the studio w/ me. At the time, I was in a relationship w/, who I thought, was the one. Looking back, it was just a toxic and unhealthy situation like arguing and breaking shit kind of toxic. Leading up to the recording session, I was contemplating my next move, you know. I felt for her, but doubts are something I'd rather remove than manage. Was it challenging to be so open when writing your vulnerable lyrics for "IDK"? What was that experience like? I create with the intention of sharing new ideas. I wouldn't say it was challenging, but it definitely was an experience getting my ideas and making them tangible. It's probably how architects feel when they're standing in front of their finished product. What was your favorite part about creating "IDK?” Were there any particular moments or experiences that you enjoyed most? My favorite moments come from being in the studio, really creating the song. You know, it's one thing to have the lyrics down on the sheet. But I was locked in with my engineer, s/o Albi. I wanted to create an unforgettable ride and make sure that not only the lyrics hit and connect but the song delivers listeners with a direction. Evokes emotion, makes them Feel. motivates one to move. What did you want your audience to experience when listening to "IDK?” I want them to join me on this ride. Dance, Cry, FEEL. There are sounds and lyrics on this record that will be taken in any direction depending on the listener's reference point. I put myself in the realm where I write with passion and experience but also give you space and a vibe to eventually get to where the intended drop-off is. What's next for you? What's next is the takeover! Aha, im currently preparing the rollout for the featured EP(The Boy Who Lived) and dropping off visuals for the people. And, Im outside! If you ever find yourself in Ontario this year, I'll be doing shows and hosting events. I'm on the ground level with this. I want to directly connect with the people who are resonating with the music. I craft it for them in the end anyway, you know. Instagram Twitter

  • Demanon Heats Things Up On New Single, "Like a Fire"

There are some songs that gain vast critical acclaim due to their rhythm, changing paces, and smooth transitions, "Like a Fire" is a song that gives us emotion tinged with melancholy which keeps listeners at the edge of their seats. Demanon is a new musical project that Joshua Silver started in Atlanta in 2019. This recording artist is gaining a following and is growing musically day by day. Josh displayed a passion for music at a young age and has made his way to creating his style. He has a wide variety of musical influences thanks to his obsessive listening to commercial cassette tapes on his Sony Walkman. Josh Silver relocated to Nashville in 2004 in order to attend SAE and seek a degree in audio engineering. Since then, he has played in a number of bands over the years and worked in and out of studios. Demanon is focused on developing a distinctive alternative rock style and has six tracks ready for release in 2022. The remainder of Josh's full-length album, which is expected to be released in early to mid-2023, is currently being produced. "Like a Fire" has a sexy guitar and voice opening that starts a crescendo of energy that explodes with interesting and enticing vocals. The song treads lightly but surely, as it makes its way on the journey of a musical prodigy. Indulge in sweet, bass-loaded rock that will have chills traveling up and down your spine. The elevating beat and vocals are prone to have you singing and listening to this song on repeat. Stream "Like a Fire" today, available on all streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic Demanon, and congratulations on your latest single, "Like a Fire." What are the three things that fuel your creativity the most? First and foremost, life experiences. Whether it be a breakup when I married my wife, to losing my mom to cancer, the weather has also always had an effect on how I write. It can be raining out, but I want to write a happy song; that song will be slower due to the weather. And last but not least, coffee! What is something you need by your side to create incredible music? latest As long as I have my guitar, bass, or piano, I’m good at writing. What was the main source of inspiration for "Like a Fire?" Well, the single before “Like a Fire” was “So Deadly,” which is about past relationships. After I had recorded So Deadly, I played it for friends and family, and everyone was like this is great, then would get really quiet then ask if everything was alright with my wife and me. I would then tell them that it was a song about ex’s/past relationships. So after that, I was like, I guess I need to write a love song. So, “Like a Fire” is about me and my Wife. What are your musical references prevalent in "Like a Fire?" I got a lot of inspiration from the artist Two Feet and Bishop Briggs for “Like a Fire.” What's next for you Demanon? My producer and I are working on the rest of the full-length album, which is slated for a St. Patty's day release next year. The next single, “One In The Same,” comes out mid-October, which will be the last release for the year. Instagram Facebook

  • You Better “Make It Out Alive” After Listening To Intruder 424

Intruder 424’s most recent song, "Make It Out Alive," is a clear example of powerful rock. It would be a grave understatement to say that the Biggianis are on the same wavelength. Together, they produce a single, potent, distinct, integrated, and resonant banger. Pete and Chris Biggiani, brothers, show that they can leave a lasting impact without using excessive power, numerous overdubs, or complex arrangements. They surely can when they're as vicious, nimble, and skilled as Intruder 424; they’ve mastered all the fundamentals. Intruder 424 has it all: a distorted, ringing six-string, thunderous drumming, passionate vocals, choruses that are sure to have everyone singing along, and hooks and riffs that hit you right in the core. It demonstrates how Pete and Chris Biggiani turn up the heat and consistently test their limits. They perform with the dexterity and fervor that have made them local rock heroes. They hardly need to exchange looks. It is clear that they understand each other. The sound of "Make It Out Alive" is rich, energizing, and vibrant. The song has the crunch of a classic stadium rock song, the drive of a basement punk party starter, and the color, personality, and attitude that have come to be associated with Jersey music. One guitar, one kit, and one voice are their only basic components. The brothers are marvelously in sync and react to one another. The drum fills and riffs lock in a violent embrace, and the vocals and drums convey the same sense of urgency. The "Make It Out Alive" video emphasizes the group's cohesion and independence. Rock out to the trancing song "Make It Out Alive," which will have your head locked in time with its quick drumbeats and hefty lines. The video is a fantastic performance as well, revealing the close bond between the Biggiani brothers. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Intruder 424. We love your music video for "Make It Out Alive." What inspires you to make music, and how do you both connect to that purpose? Thank BuzzMusic for interviewing us! We are happy you guys love the music video for our song "Make It Out Alive." Music is something we’ve both been doing since we were very little. Since I (Pete) was 2 years old and my brother Chris was 4 years old. It's just something that we love to do and comes very naturally to us. Would you be able to describe the creative process behind "Make It Out Alive?” Sure! Chris and I wanted to do something different, and Chris came to me with this cool guitar riff idea, and together, we built off of that idea. We wanted to write something a little heavier and darker than we would normally write. As for the lyrics, we both wanted to tell a story and have a reoccurring line which would end up being the Make it Out Alive line in the chorus. What's the message you're trying to convey to listeners in "Make It Out Alive?" The message behind “Make It Out Alive” was written with a meaning behind it that, hopefully, anyone could relate to. In the “Make It Out Alive” line in the chorus, we hope people relate to anything they are struggling with in their own personal life with the mindset of always overcoming the obstacle, no matter if it’s someone or something standing in your way. What's next for you? We can’t wait to release more music in the coming months! We are also excited to Tour in the near future. Can't wait to sit down and talk with BuzzMusic again soon!
