- Elena Walter Is Freeing Up Mental Space for Positive Change
If you're looking for an artist who can tell a story and evoke emotion, look no further than Elena Walter. With her latest release, "Her Man in a Black Hat," Elena tells the story of finding the right person and sharing life together. The song is positive and uplifting and leaves you feeling relaxed and enjoying the journey. "She doesn't need a prince on a white horse, Just a man she can trust most, She doesn't need a rich sugar daddy, Just to share life after the wedding." This song is simply beautiful. It is about a woman who is content with the love she has found in a simple man. He may not be wealthy or have a prestigious job, but he is the perfect man for her. The lyrics are romantic and sweet, and the chorus is catchy and easy to remember. The song makes you want to find your man in a black hat and ride off into the sunset with him. Elena's songwriting process is unique because she does everything from her home. She starts with an idea of the song and works on the chord progression and vocal melody while she writes the lyrics. After a few weeks, she records a demo with her piano playing and vocal and then sends it to the recording studio in Nashville. Elena Walter works with session musicians to add new layers to her music and create a high-end record. Her mission as a musician is to write songs that uplift people and free up mental space for new ideas and positive life changes. If you're looking for music that will make you feel good and inspire you to make positive changes in your life, check out Elena Walter's new release, "Her Man in a Black Hat." In a world that has been administered a break from the old normal, we appreciate your message that inspires listeners to pursue true meaning. What was the defining moment in your life that opened your eyes to the meaning of happiness? Thank you also for inviting me for the interview! You are right, it's a tough time, and positive thinking prevents me from going crazy about things around. I am a U.S. immigrant who relocated from Russia 3 years ago, and I was fascinated by the beauty of the country. I live in Charlotte, NC, and together with my husband, we often go to the Carolina beaches and to the Smoky Mountains. Nature helps me to free my mind from new song ideas. When I walk along the Atlantic Ocean, I feel a lot of energy and happiness. I have a habit: each time I come to the ocean, I tell the happy story of what happened to me on the previous trip. I kind of collect my happy stories. Having jumped into the music scene later than most, it seems like you have always been the fearless type that has finally taken space for yourself. How does it feel to be an artist of your own making? Well, I still have many fears, but age has brought me some advantages – I understand that time flies regardless of what you are doing or not doing. And I decided to do things as much as I could. Honestly, it feels amazing to be an artist of my own making. I discovered a whole new world for me. Ten years ago I started playing piano, two years ago I asked my piano teacher to give me lessons on composing music, after that my first song was released. Finally, I understood even if I write beautiful songs, I have only 50 listeners from my work and family. I started to learn how to get heard and promote my music. It's another new world of music marketing. I love learning new things, and I would say that my music journey became the happiest journey of my life. Each time a new song comes out, I feel euphoric. Have you met your "Man in a Black Hat?" Yep, it's my husband! One day, I was sitting on the front porch of our little blue-walls house, drinking coffee and thinking that none of it would be true if not for my lovely husband. He brought me to a paradise, meaning living in Charlotte. We travel a lot together, and he is the biggest fan of my songs. We must say, what a beautiful song, such pure meaning. We have read a few studies recently that determine that a positive frame of mind makes you more than 30% smarter. Has Man in a Black Hat set a precedent for the music you will produce in the future? Absolutely! One of my listeners told me she listened to "Her Man in a Black Hat" 10 times daily. Something touched her deeply in this song. Maybe some story with a man in her past. It's a clear sign to me that I am on the right way to creativity. Of course, feeling love is the most used emotion in songs. However, I was trying to convey my emotion in my way, trying to make it more authentic, like you said, to have a pure meaning. As for 30% smarter, I would agree with that. For a living, I do software engineering in the financial sector, which helps me manage my music budget and work with many music software tools. I think I spend 70% of my song process time working in software since we live in a digital world where many things are doable online, including song production. When the song is ready, you need to get heard in the world where Spotify releases 60 000 tracks daily! Somehow you need to go through it. So, it's left and right brain works, and you need to be smarter than usual to proceed in your way. What's next for you? Oh, I have big plans. I am working on a new song about a Dreamer defending his/her values. I want to try pitching this song for a movie or a TV Show, like Stranger Things (my favorite!). I know the song for a sync should be very specific because it's more about background music complementing the moment or the character. I learn from professionals. I recently watched the interview with Nora Felder – Music Supervisor from Stranger Things (https://youtu.be/k0iR6Thn_pM), where there are only a few subjects in the stories never change love, death, loss, believing in oneself, evil, achieving against all odds, heroicness. Writing a song about this in a universal language, in your way, telling something that makes you special – the key to success. That's what I am going to do next. Instagram Facebook

What was your husband's reaction when you asked him to be a part of the music video for "My First Love?" What was it like working alongside him? My husband was excited.. and it was a beautiful experience to bring our love story into a visual music video before the world. What was your goal with the "My First Love" music video? My goal was to invite the world into our love story of a king and queen. And also show that there are a lot of happy marriages out there that God has placed together and has not given up on their marriage. And also to let the world know that there is someone for everyone. Find the song's music video on YouTube. Welcome to BuzzMusic, West Berman. We're ready to get the party started after hearing your new single, "Midnight In Magnolia (feat. ProjectBaby JV)." What inspired you to create this lively and energetic party anthem? Thank you for having me. What honestly inspired this song was my love for home. Even though I'm a proud artist out of Austin, Texas, I will never forget Opelousas, Louisiana. So with my new project I'm working on titled "Midnight in Magnolia," I wanted to make a lead single that resonated with the idea of Texas influences on Louisiana-style beats. So making it up-tempo was a must because both places are ones of very energetic music. Is this your first time working alongside ProjectBaby JV? What was your collaborative experience like when creating "Midnight In Magnolia (feat. ProjectBaby JV)?" At that point in time, yes, it was. We actually made that entire song in a few hours! He is a great artist, definitely, someone who matches my energy in the booth, so working together is always fire. When making Midnight, I think the experience hit more personal because we are both from Louisiana. He had a sense of the direction I was going with the song, which made it easier for him to do it all in that session. We have a few songs on the way, actually, so this is for sure just the TIP of the iceberg for us. What was your goal for the music video for "Midnight In Magnolia (feat. ProjectBaby JV)?" What did you want to offer your viewers? TO TURN UP! One thing I'm all about, no matter if it's on stage or in videos, is energy. Midnight was an energetic and up-tempo song, so with the help of NKLyfe (a director from Houston, Tx), we were able to give exactly that. We shot it in a Versace-themed Stay in Houston to give it an elegant feel, but we also wanted it to be a party scene because of the actual music. Of course, our main goal was to run up streams and get views, but we also wanted to make a video that people would enjoy viewing more than ONCE! That's my goal for any video I make. Should we expect to hear the same upbeat party vibes within your forthcoming debut album, Midnight In Magnolia? What else should we anticipate from the project? You can expect a great mixture from this album! Everything from upbeat to slower, more vibe-like songs. I'm a diverse artist, and I want to capture the attention of all audiences. I want listeners to be able to transition through songs and not feel like it sounds the same as the last. As an artist, all of my projects must show development, so that's definitely what I'm most proud of about Midnight in Magnolia. I'm confident people will be very impressed with my creative style and what this album will bring. What's next for you? At the moment, I am preparing for shows and working on my album. I recently just performed with MadeinTYO and UnoTheActivist at Empire here in Austin, so that was a great experience. With ACL and SXSW coming up, I'm looking forward to being a part of those events as well, this time as an artist, so that's always a great feeling! It's a lot more to come to buckle up because this is going to be one fun and exciting ride. In the meantime, stream "DISCOVERY CHNL" and "Midnight in Magnolia!" Instagram Twitter

Alexi Paraschos smoothly glides across the instrumental as he writes about how he always tries to get closer to his better half and sings beautifully in his newest song, "Skyline." Originally from Boston and now residing in Los Angeles, Alexi Paraschos has developed many achievements being an independent artist. Back in 2009, Alexi was working a job at an insurance company, where he wrote lyrics for what would become the company song. He soon realized his talents were going to waste, and he could do more if he changed direction. His music has been featured in numerous media outlets like New York Times, and his music has also been used in shows like MTV and VH1. He aims to speak on experiences and bring them across in the most beautiful manner. "Skyline" brings us the most exciting yet intimate feel as it blooms through the instrumental. It allows Alexi to feed off his experiences and energy boldly; we simultaneously feel the smooth sailing vibes and relate to it. As we enter the world of Alexi Paraschos, we discover the serene, smooth way in which his music makes us feel. He starts bringing the instrumental to a beautiful place as we cannot wait to hear what he has to offer. And as he serenades his listeners into the all-so-beautiful chorus, he sings, "Skyline, my world is on fire." We can see how Alexi Paraschos's hard work and endless writing paid off as he blossomed in "Skyline." Listen to "Skyline," available now on all platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic Alexi Paraschos; we feel the emotion and strife in your single "Skyline". What inspired this beautiful, heartfelt piece? All of my songs on my most recent project are inspired by my (now) wife (we had a pandemic wedding!). We also just moved to Los Angeles from Philly, which has a very distinctive skyline, so the idea came from the love of my wife and the city of Philadelphia. What was your songwriting process like for "Skyline?" Would you say it was somewhat cathartic, considering your performance is so passionate? I loved the idea of a skyline as a metaphor for someone's lover. And I think there is a sense of home that comes with being in love that is similar to the way one feels when gazing out at a beautiful skyline. The song always felt like a summer evening on a city rooftop, and I wanted to keep that feel throughout it. How does "Skyline" contrast your previous releases? How does the song stand out regarding lyricism, sound, and the overall atmosphere? Most of the songs on my latest project, "Love Odyssey," are romantic love songs with a pop/R&B vibe. We were definitely aiming for a Michael Jackson "Off The Wall" kind of vibe, with songs that groove and are just classic and timeless. I think this song fits in perfectly with what we were aiming to do, but it also features me playing the talkbox, which is something I'd never done and was a very cool experience. How can listeners get to know you more personally with "Skyline?"How does this song represent you? For the music video, I wanted to pay tribute to my 1yr old son and our relationship. The video shows my cross-country drive from Philadelphia to L.A. that I made this past January and uses my relationship with my son as a way to show it. Because of this, and all of the big life changes that have happened to us over the last three years, this is the most meaningful video I've ever done, and I hope people enjoy it! What's next for you? Just hit the ground running here in Los Angeles! We still have a few more videos from "Love Odyssey" that we'll be releasing through the rest of the year. But otherwise, connecting with some L.A. producers, building my team out here, and working on new music for the next project next year! Instagram Twitter

Girls, it's time we lift each other up. Learn your way around owning your inner Goddess with help from Sade Ariel's saucy new single, "Step Out," now available on all digital streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Sade Ariel. We're head over heels for the party-like atmosphere within your hot and heavy single, "Step Out." What inspired you to create such a vibrant song like this? What inspired me to create step out was the thought of stepping out. It was still Covid time. No one was going out, and I told myself that when all this was done, I wanted to step back into the world with accomplishments that I could be proud of. Whenever you’re celebrating things, there should always be a song you go to for that, and that’s where the whole idea came from. Did you work alongside any producers when formulating the sonics for "Step Out?" What sort of vibe did you want to give the song? I wanted to give a Canadian meet Island girl vibe to the song because of my cultural background being of Caribbean descent. I’ve always worked with Araz from the compound studio when it comes to recording just cause we have an artist-producer relationship I feel that has lasted for a while. He just understands my sound and where I’m trying to take it every time. What was your favorite part about creating "Step Out?" What did you take away from the experience? My favorite part about creating STEP OUT would have to be creating the visuals. I held on to the song for a while before deciding to finally give it the life it deserved. So when it was time to give it the visual aspect I knew it needed, I couldn’t wait. I secretly believe I have the vision for creative directing, so anytime I can incorporate visuals into my art, I’m all in and super pumped on that. Could you tell us more about your Goddess lifestyle/showgirl outfit company, Flyygirl? Why did you want to launch the brand? FLYYGIRL, the goddess lifestyle, is my baby. She was born on 1.11. This year has been really my motivation and focal point for the music I create. The brand focuses on empowering women to channel their inner goddess and show up as her each and every second of the day. I launched the brand because I saw a lane I could be in by myself. Somewhere I could bring a vibe that no one really saw or heard of before, especially where my feet are planted at the moment. Our focus on the fashion end is red carpet/showgirl pieces for entertainers or the everyday diva. There’s nothing basic about being a Flyy girl, and it’s my mission to make that known through the clothes we bring to the brand and the music we release. Instagram
- Jbledz Embraces Being An “Outsider”
Stimulating the ears with experimental production and gripping vocals is singer-songwriter and recording artist Jbledz with his latest anthemic single, "Outsider." Jbledz knew he was destined for a music career even before he was cognizant. Suffering from a few ear infections as a baby, the only way he would quiet down was when his mother would hit play on an orchestra broadcast. Fast forward to today, Jbledz says he's lost many friends to pride, death, and drugs. Thus, music became his therapy, escape, and world. Although orchestras amazed him as a child, Jbledz has shifted into a more modern and edgy alternative sound packed with lively pop elements. This sound is best represented in his latest single, "Outsider," a punchy and gripping anthem for those who get trapped in their spiraling mind and understand that they may never be more than an "Outsider." Expanding on the fiery new tune, "Outsider," we're met with windswept synthpop keys and Jbledz's smooth vocals that express different struggles and worries that linger in his mind. As the airy and pop-esque drums begin jumping through our speakers, Jbledz heads over to the exhilarating and bass-heavy pre-hook, where he lets us know that he's trying his best to make it out alive. Although his lyrics are incredibly personal and emotional, it's clear Jbledz wants us to groove the night away with his sweltering production that rumbles our speakers to their core. We're amazed by the many relatable situations and scenes Jbledz paints with his honest lyrics; he keeps the energy high and mighty while sending us to the outro on a deeply introspective note. When you need a song that clutches your soul and leaves you breathless, we'd highly recommend the stimulating experience of Jbledz's latest single, "Outsider," now available on all digital streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Jbledz. We're so impressed with the relatable elements and exciting production within your new single, "Outsider." Where did you find the inspiration for this personal and bold single? This is a very private part of my life. So all I can say is with regard to the topic/lyrics, if you understand what this is about, I’m sorry. Did you face any challenges when opening up and writing your honest lyrics for "Outsider?" Or was this process more therapeutic? Definitely therapeutic. Do you usually create such vibrant and rich alt-pop production, similar to the heavy synths in "Outsider?" How would you describe your sound? Yes, I’d say so. Growing up, I was a big fan of One Republic and Zedd. That led me down the path of more progressive production styles (Zedd) while trying to maintain relatable melodies and topics (One Republic). What was your goal with "Outsider?" What did you want the listener to experience and take away? You aren’t alone when you feel like you’re alone. Instagram Facebook
- WOLVES Dive Into Emotional Deep House With “Last Call”
Los Angeles-based alternative-pop duo and producers WOLVES shower us in deep house vibes and endless passion in their latest single, "Last Call." WOLVES is Marc Avery and Sean Carney, two incredible producers who joined forces to create punchy and expansive 808 drums alongside desolate guitar riffs and silky melodies. Avery said the new single, "Last Call," was inspired by his love for Canadian electronic producer Kaytranada, who never fails to deliver the perfect groove. "Being from Chicago, I hold dance music and house music in high regard," so making a song with a house undertone was a must. Although WOLVES are best known for their Boombastic beats and party vibes, the new single takes on a more emotional and introspective message that many can relate to. While a "Last Call" is usually a final call for alcohol, WOLVES says this song represents the "last chance at trying to feel better over an ex using whatever means necessary." Jumping into the new tune, "Last Call," the song brightly opens with the smoothest vocal melodies that serenade us with a sort of Mac Miller-type flow; relaxed, playful, and passionate. As the sonics begins to expand, the many snares, shakers, and effects pump up the groove while the punchy kicks start stomping through our speakers. The lead vocalists' sweet-sounding vocals continue searching for ways to mend the pain, looking for "Last Call" at clarity and peace of mind. We can totally hear that Kaytranada influence on this tune; it packs all the emotion, vibes, and groove that a stellar house song should. As they lift us to the outro, WOLVES encourages us to leave our woes behind and not let them put a damper on our evening. Drift into the dreamy and stimulating house music vibes of WOLVES heartfelt new tune, "Last Call," now available on all digital streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, WOLVES. We adore the breezy and dreamy house vibes of your latest single, "Last Call." Why did you want to switch things up and dabble in this popular electronic subgenre? Thanks so much! We both have very diverse musical tastes and wanted to create something that we would listen to or want to hear from other artists we like, such as Kaytranada or Disclosure. This song was also the first of many in which we started to write with more honesty, both lyrically and through our production. What experiences inspired the emotional and honest lyrical content within "Last Call?" When we first began writing this song, I (Marc) was either having problems or broke up with the girl I was with. I was also bartending at the time. “Last Call” happens every night, and while it’s the last chance for a drink, it’s sometimes a last-ditch effort for people to try to take someone home. I combined all of these observations and feelings when I was writing this song. What was your duo's experience in the studio creating "Last Call"? Was it refreshing to step outside of alternative pop and jump into something different? We began the production process with a friend of ours that we have collaborated before; his name is Andrew Bland, aka Kasper. He lives in that space a bit more, and once he started the foundation, Marc quickly started with the first line of the song; after I (Sean) added additional production and guitars, it was an incredible vibe. The truth is we have some other music we’ve been secretly sitting on that is outside of the Alt. Pop realm, so stay tuned! What do you hope listeners feel and experience when hearing "Last Call?" How do you want them to react to it? First, we hope they blast it for their neighbors and friends, and they have a block party! But once they really listen to the lyrics, hopefully, it strikes a chord and makes them reminisce about something in their past. If it’s dancing or skating at the roller rink or having a drink with friends over their ex, no matter what, we want them to feel something genuinely nostalgic. Instagram Artist Website

As the soothing drums kick in, Sum shares her angelic vocals while singing of how expressive we are over our phones but how difficult that can be in real life, thanks to our "Awkward Bodies." Amanda Sum doesn't hate on what society has become; she pokes fun at the situation and sings relatable lyrics like "wearing street-smart uniforms to show we've got it together...I've got it together." There are a few jazzy twists and turns on the song's bridge that leaves us swaying with the breezy instrumentals and Amanda Sum's lush vocals. She passionately sends us to the outro while reminding us that it's okay that we humans have become more awkward than ever; now, we can own it. Find Amanda Sum's new single, "Awkward Bodies," on all digital streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Amanda Sum. We truly appreciate such a relatable anthem for our times like "Awkward Bodies." What inspired you to write about our current state of awkwardness? So glad you can relate! This song is inspired by those moments when you put on a certain social mask or facade in order to present yourself in the best light. I was thinking a lot about what things I do in order to fit in, look smart, or get by. Sometimes it’s at work, and I don’t know a certain term someone is talking about, so I note it down to look up later out of fear of looking silly if I ask at the moment, or sometimes it’s indulging in my Special Skills section of my resume to give a higher chance of looking good on paper. Am I actually proficient in Microsoft Excel? Not really. I think it comes in many forms, this “fake it till you make it” attitude. With this song, I wanted to acknowledge how we’re all just awkward little bodies flailing around trying to get by. Who really knows what they’re doing? What was your experience writing the relatable and honest lyrics for "Awkward Bodies?" Did you write your lyrics entirely solo? I wrote this song early in the pandemic, alone in my room! So much of the album came from that place. The initial starting point for this song was the lyrics “we talk in bold, we talk in italics”, and then it went from there. This song flowed fairly naturally; I like when I can giggle at my own words, and this song allowed lots of that. What do you hope the listener realizes or considers after experiencing "Awkward Bodies"? I hope that as much as people can forgive their own awkwardness, they can also push that feeling outwards and make room for other people who may be showing that they have it all together and who very well may not. Should we expect to hear "Awkward Bodies" on your upcoming debut album, New Age Attitudes? Can you drop any hints about the new record? Yes!! This song will be on the album. The song comes with a music video that may or may not involve a life-sized dim sum. Hints about the record: 13 songs! And jade green vinyl! What's next for you? Right now, we are getting all the pieces together for the album release and its accompanying release show in September. That will all be announced on Instagram @amanduhsum and my website www.amandasum.com. Till then, just wandering through the days in this awkward body. Instagram Facebook
- Samanta Liza’s “I Don’t Regret You,” Is An Anthem Of Betrayal And Fondness
Singer, songwriter, and producer Samanta Liza recently released her debut album, Days Of E.N.D. The album is a collection of journal entries, deep reflections, and therapeutic studio sessions built into a commentary on the importance of relationships. Speaking about the inspiration behind Days Of E.N.D., Samanta Liza says, “There are few things in this world that matter more to me than my relationships - both romantic and platonic. Tapping into my own story and the stories of others, I explore what it truly means to let yourself feel. Being an empath is both exhausting and energizing at the same time. But my connection to others keeps me alive and propels me forward. It is because of people that I feel excited. They give me purpose. Through this album, I hope to showcase the power of people. The power of understanding your emotions. And the power of introspection.” "I Don't Regret You" is a song by Samanta Liza about a past relationship. The song is about the singer regretting the relationship and the things she overlooked. The song is sad and regretful but also has an attitude that wins despite being betrayed. The song is well written and performed, it arouses a paradox that will catch the unsuspecting listener between a feeling of betrayal and fondness. Today, experience “I Don’t Regret You” on your favorite streaming platform. Welcome to Buzz Music, Samanta, and congratulations on your latest release, “I Don’t Regret You.” What was the story or inspiration behind “I Don't Regret You?” Thank you! I Don’t Regret You is a reflection on a past relationship that turned out to be both superficial and significant. I realized that there is no reason to regret it because the relationship was meaningful in its own way and served a purpose. It was a learning experience, and that is not something I’d ever regret. There’s also this secondary theme which is that of trusting your instincts - both with someone else and yourself. I’ve been leaning more into trusting my own instincts lately! Can’t say I regret that either. Do you feel the song allows listeners a window to your emotions while writing? Yes, absolutely. When I’m writing, it has to be about someone or something meaningful. And if I am not writing about my own experience, then I have to at least imagine myself in someone else’s shoes. The ability to tap into your - or someone else’s - emotions is potent. To let yourself feel, to surrender, and reflect on it, to learn and grow, is truly an amazing experience. What's the message you'd like people to take away from "I Don't Regret You?” Trust your instincts Work through and learn from your regrets Don’t live in the past Tell us a little about your journey. What would you tell yourself ten years ago? Oh, man. My journey has been an interesting one! Where do I start? I spent most of my childhood in Sweden, where we lived on a horse farm for the most part. I loved performing even back then. For one of my birthday parties, my dad built me a stage so that I could perform at my own birthday party. (Love you, papa!). We left Sweden when I was 12 years old, moved to England, and shortly after moved to Kuwait. I went to an American international school in Kuwait, where I participated in talent shows. I started writing music when I was 13 years old. I was self-taught on the guitar and learned enough to accompany myself while singing. By the time I was 16, I had gone to boarding school in Florida, where I attended North Broward Prep School. I was still writing music for fun in my downtime. During the summer of 2012, I went to Stanford for a summer program where one of my classes was Classical Voice. While classical singing was not my cup of tea, it was fun to learn something new and different. I went to NYU Shanghai for college, which ultimately brought me to NY. My writing started to get really good in college. I was more emotional and more creative. Once I got to NY, however, I didn’t write as much. I got caught up with college, hanging out with friends, and then I started working. I took 2.5 years off of college to work in design and research for a tech company. These were my least creative years, musically speaking. I wasn’t feeling very inspired. I didn’t write a lot. Come 2020, Covid hits. We are in a global pandemic. At first, I was afraid (I was petrified! Lol). No, but in all seriousness. I didn’t go out at all. Stayed at home. Where I felt safe. At this point in time, I was already working for Equinox as a UX researcher. I was studying for my CPT (to become a personal trainer) and leading online fitness classes. Come summer and late 2020, my personality changed. I went out more. Met new people. Partied and had fun. I was spending more time around music and musically inclined people. I started to drum with a DJ. Eventually, I was drumming with him at Elements Music Festival, where I was chatting with this guy who asked me, “why don’t you just learn to DJ and do it all yourself?” To which I had no answer other than, “fuck yeah, why not? you’re right!” I end up going to Tulum and getting Covid like everyone else who went there in late 2020. Locked up with Covid, I enrolled in Lee Foss’s online music production course (where I met Sivz!). Fast forward to October 2021, and I’m releasing a collaboration with my now dear friend Panté on Armada Electronic Elements. Fast forward to summer 2022, and I’m releasing my debut album on my record label, But Did You Dance. So yeah, it’s been a wild ride. A lot of fast learning and discipline. A lot of late nights and anxiety. A true hustle. I don’t know if I would tell 17-year-old me anything specific. If I had to say something, though, I guess it would be to be more patient and intentional. I thought about telling myself to not study physics as a major and waste 1.5 years of college on a horribly average GPA. But I actually still enjoyed learning about things like quantum mechanics and astrophysics, so I don’t mind that I spent 1.5 years trying to be something that I’m not. I still learned something, and I enjoyed that. What's next for you? More music-making! I’ll be going to Burning Man this year, and it’s going to be my first burn, so I’m very excited about the impact that experience is going to have on my creativity. I would love to find someone to go on tour with. Someone who I can vibe with personally and musically. Someone whose fans will appreciate my music. I will know who that is when I meet them.
