  • Bae Baracus Highlights Personal Freedom In, “Chaos Is Money”

Canadian west coast-based band Bae Baracus highlight some necessary concepts in their latest groovy and high-energy single, "Chaos Is Money." Bae Baracus's sound and vibe bring us out to Canada's adventurous west coast. The brand comprises musician & producer Lin Gardiner (Julia Sound), instrumentalist & vocalist Clef Seeley (Tetrahedron), and lead singer Dolly De Guerre (Ghostcards). Together, they create punchy and relatable tunes with thought-provoking lyrics. The band's sharp and conceptual lyricism is the key takeaway in their recent single, "Chaos Is Money." The song takes a close look at the world's current state and different people's perspectives of what "freedom" means, especially those whose freedom is at the cost of everyone around them. Lin says the same people who want freedom are the "same people are often restrictive about others' freedoms & rights (LGBTQ, immigrants, BIPOC, women)." Jumping into the new single, "Chaos Is Money," a driving and exhilarating electro-pop beat blasts through as speakers as Seeley's raspy and high-energy vocals set the scene on fire. As Bae Baracus picks up the groove and continues ramping up the energy, they head to the glimmering hook and chant that freedom for one is freedom for all. We truly appreciate such a needed lyrical concept like this, especially after learning people's true colors amid the world's continuous chaos. Bae Baracus perfectly reflects those mind-boggling moments where someone else's picture of "freedom" isn't all that fair and might cost someone else their personal freedom. There's so much to take away from Bae Baracus's new hit, and we hope it reminds you to reflect on what freedom means to you. Find their exciting new anthem, "Choas Is Money," on all digital streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Bae Baracus. We honestly appreciate such a powerful and necessary single like "Chaos Is Money." What inspired your band to tackle the concept of freedom in this track? Lin - Hi BuzzMusic, thanks so much for having us here, we're happy you dig the song! I put the beat together for the track, and the chorus melody popped out and the word 'freedom' seemed to fit right in. It got us talking about the frustrations of how some groups have hi-jacked that word, but not necessarily for the better. There were these 'freedom rallies' happening in Canada, but while the folk at them were banging on about their alleged lack of freedom (in Canada, one of the freest countries in the world at the moment!), they were blocking borders, causing industries to shut down, keeping residents up all night honking their horns... it seemed incongruous, and we wanted to reclaim the word as an antidote to all that. Clef - I think it’s a word you hear a lot these days that’s really important to a lot of people. But I also think that in the last few years, there’s been a change in the language, like maybe a split along some ideological line, where now the same words have different meanings to different people. But I think the big takeaway is that freedom for one still has to mean freedom for all. It’s supposed to be universal. Dolly - We want to reclaim the term "Freedom" from populist bad faith actors defending economic interests and put it firmly back in the hands of movements for social equality. Were there any particular moments your band experienced that led to conversations around "Choas Is Money?" Clef - The last two years do have a way of coloring the conversation, smh. War in Ukraine, COVID, the impossible housing market, the affordability crisis. I still think the song is positive and hopeful for the future. Dolly - As three separate people, we've all been exposed to and pushed into tough, divisive conversations with loved ones around what constitutes freedom. It's been painful, and we wanted to channel that. Lin - We got together at the beginning of April for this session, and like all our recording sessions we jam about what's been going on for us. We were all frustrated by the freedom convoy, worried about a swing to the right in a lot of places, freaked out by the war in Ukraine, and saddened by some personal experiences of being criticized for being OK with Covid vaccines. The song became this kind of melting pot of all that. Why did you want to give "Chaos Is Money" this upbeat, groovy, and energetic electro-pop vibe? Do you usually create such danceable electronic tunes like this? Dolly - Bae Baracus is an alternative dance project. We create a range of moods for every stage of the big night out, from dancefloor anthems to soothing comedown tracks. Check out our first EP, "Flow and Fire," and our album "Go No Go" on all the platforms. Lin - Much of our material sits in this spot. We all bring something different to the Bae sound, but many of our tracks lean into this kind of alt-electronica disco-punk kind of thing. Clef - The song is supposed to be upbeat because that’s the real takeaway from the song. But I mean, shout-out to Lin for the amazing beat and production on this track! What impact do you want to make with "Chaos Is Money?" What thoughts did you hope listeners consider and think after hearing the new single? Lin - I secretly want the 'freedom convoyers' to catch onto the hook, adopt it as a theme, and then realize it's totally pro-diversity, anit-war, and woke af... Maybe some will even become enlightened and realize 'liberal' and 'progressive' is the place to be. Dolly - If you value freedom, then you must be tolerant, open-minded, and ready to understand and make space for other points of view. Also, f**k Putin. Clef - I just want people to like the song and like the video! What's next for you? Clef - Believe it or not, I’m actually moving to Alberta, where I live has taken off in price, and a young family like mine has a better shot East. So wish me luck! Dolly - We're releasing a bunch of "B-Sides" with this single, so look out for them! Also, hopefully, a live show or two! Lin - We work pretty fast and wrapped 'Chaos Is Money' in about 4 hours... we had another hour left in the session, so we threw down three songs in one hour, just one-take improvs... a couple of slow experimental pieces, and a straight-up punk song. They're going to be released on a 'Chaos Is Money: B-sides' EP in July on Boomsmack Records. As a band born during the pandemic, and because we're separated geographically, we haven't played live yet (as a band anyway, all of us are no strangers to the stage), but we do have our first show booked for August, at The Rogue Festival on the Sunshine Coast (BC), so we're super excited for that!

  • Laura Loh Holds Hope For The Future In, "Morning Light"

Never failing to bring listeners into a better mood is UK-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Laura Loh with her latest inspirational single, "Morning Light." Loh's music often spans genres like alternative pop, alternative folk, classical, and jazz, which she was able to craft from a young age with help from her musically-inclined family. After the release of her debut EP in 2020, 'Sunrise,' Loh landed some of her tunes on BBC Introducing as well as festivals like Weyfest, Westival, and ValeFest. Her most recent single, "Morning Light," takes listeners through an uplifting and refreshing experience while Laura Loh sings her heart out and reminds us that brighter days are to come. Loh also released an equally lush music video that sees her on a UK rooftop basking in the morning light, patiently but happily awaiting a more fulfilling future. Breaking down the single, "Morning Light," the experience opens with Laura Loh's vibrant and rich falsetto melodies alongside warm r&b-like drums that open the song with passion and serenity. As the tender alternative and folk-inspired instrumentals begin seeping through our speakers, Loh takes us through several passionate scenes of yearning for someone's love while staying hopeful that the future will serve her right. We adore Laura Loh's soothing and bright vocal melodies, which are perfectly paired with the lush piano melodies and background keys to ramp up all the soul and passion possible. We're sure anyone will feel impressed with Loh's ability to transport the listener into such relatable yet hopeful scenes packed with optimism and faith. Get up the right way and bask in the "Morning Light" with Laura Loh's latest single, now available on all streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Laura Loh. We truly appreciate the hopeful and inspirational feel within your latest single, "Morning Light." When did you feel inspired to create this sweet-sounding tune? Thank you! I wrote “Morning Light” when I was feeling particularly positive and inspired. It’s about when you wake up with the sun shining, and you just have a feeling that it’s going to be a really good day. The light makes everything look golden, and it feels like nothing can bring you down from that high. The inspiration for the song started with the words ‘morning light,” and that’s the phrase I kept coming back to and tried to capture in this song. I actually created the instrumental track first and then wrote the vocal on top, which was a new way of writing for me. What was it like collaborating with producer Joe Wright for "Morning Light"? Was he able to achieve the overall sound and feel you were looking for? I’ve been working with Joe for a few years now, so we have a pretty good understanding of each other and the way we make music. He’s really great to collaborate with because he’s open-minded, creative, and so patient. “Morning Light” was a different experience for us though, because I came to him with a very clear idea of exactly how I wanted the track to sound. In the past, I’ve gone into the studio with an acoustic version of my song and been open to seeing how it turns out, but this time I was kind of steering us down a path. I loved exploring the production side of making music. I’d say we definitely achieved the sound and feel I was after. What sort of moments or scenes did you want to capture with the music video for "Morning Light"? How does the video emphasize the song's meaning? The inspiration for the video came from visiting my brother in London. London has so many cool rooftop gardens with beautiful views of the city and golden hour is especially magical. I reference “golden light” a lot in the lyrics, and it’s quite a carefree, uplifting song, so I wanted to capture that in the video. It was so cold when we filmed because we were on a rooftop, really early on a freezing, icy winter’s morning, and I remember shivering so much between takes. It was so much fun though because my brother filmed it, so I could share my musical world with him. You've mentioned that "Morning Light" marked a new era for you. Could you explain why and how this song is the start of a new path for your music career? “Morning Light” was my first time really delving into the production side of making music. I loved it so much that I’ve produced or co-produced every song I’ve written since. It was also a new way of writing songs. Even though I still write some songs with just a vocal and piano or guitar, I also write a lot of songs in this new way now (instrumental track first), which has allowed me to grow as an artist and as a songwriter. This song was a different sound and style from my previous releases, and creating it was such a fun experience that it influenced a lot of my music going forward. What's next for you? Lots of new music this year! I spent most of last year writing and producing, so I’m really excited for everyone to finally hear all these new songs I’ve been working on. During the lockdown, I bought some recording gear and set up a little home studio, and just got really inspired. “Morning Light” is a fun, uplifting, empowering song, and I hope it makes people feel good. I wanted to follow it up with something that shows a different side of me as an artist, so my next single is a little more vulnerable and personal. It touches on recovery and mental health, and I think it’s a song that a lot of people will be able to relate to and hopefully find some comfort in. INSTAGRAM

  • Prepare for Battle With Prynce P’s New Single, “Inferno”

Dallas' very own hip-hop recording artist, songwriter, and rapper Prynce P teams up with Wolfie Moncler and Teleoso for their empowering new single, "Inferno." Prynce P first made waves on the scene with his single, "The Triple D Cypher," featuring 14 of Dallas's hottest rappers. After one of his music videos won an award at the NatiVisions Film Festival in Arizona, Prynce P kept the momentum rolling with Los Angeles radio stations picking up his tunes and venturing into playful and comical releases like "Rudolf - The Triple D Remix." Thousands of streams later, Prynce P delivers his latest single, "Inferno," featuring Wolfie Moncler and Teleoso. He also released an animated music video that sees the trio battling off zombies and fighting for their lives. By the end, they plunk down on their thrones and remind us that we must go through hell before reaching paradise. Produced by Cloak Beats and Billy Syn, "Inferno" kicks off with eerie and ominous whispers that lead us into the anthemic and chant-worthy hook. It's sort of this prepare-for-battle listening experience that takes us through what these individuals are doing to survive. Wolfie Moncler tackles the first verse with incredible authority and power; his rhythmic and conceptual bars are sparking flames left and right. After the second hook, Teleoso makes her honest and inspirational vocal appearance while shredding our speakers with bars about putting in work, making moves, and preparing to fight for her life. Prynce P summons all the dominance and intensity he can find to close the song with his punchy verse. He's ready to keep slashing and jabbing through life's obstacles, and he encourages us to do the same. Stay ready for action with help from a battle anthem-like Prynce P's new single with Wolfie Moncler and Teleoso, "Inferno," now available on all digital streaming platforms. Welcome back to BuzzMusic, Prynce P. What an epic and empowering experience you've delivered with your new single "Inferno." What inspired this battle-like piece? Thank you for having me back on your amazing platform. Inferno stands for hell in Portuguese, but the true meaning of this song is about fighting your inner demons. It's about going to hell and coming back as a stronger person. You and I both know that life is not easy. We all have our own struggles that we deal with on a daily basis. The goal is not to give up, but to keep pushing forward and to come out as victors. Why did you want to create this visually-stimulating animated music video for "Inferno"? What inspired that zombie-esque theme? The truth is that I love animation and also, who doesn't like Zombies, right? What was it like working with rappers Wolfie Moncler and Teleoso for "Inferno"? What was your collaborative experience with them? They are 2 of my favorite rappers out of Dallas and they are both extremely creative and easy to work with. I also want to acknowledge the main producer, Cloak Beats, the co-producer, Billy Syn, Vani Music who engineered this track, Nima T who helped with writing the script, and last but not least, Wow Animation Studio who did the animation. If you ever want to succeed at anything, make sure that you choose the right team to work with. What effect do you want "Inferno" to have on listeners? Do you hope it gives them more motivation and power to stick through life's low points? I want them to know that life does not come with an instruction manual. I want the listeners to know that some of their best moments have not happened yet! I want them to know that if they stay consistent, keep a positive attitude and work hard, they can achieve all their goals. We all go through hell! What separates us is that some fight and come out as winners and some let hell burn them alive and get defeated. The choice is yours... What's next for you? I am currently wrapping up an international song with Bahador Mokhtar, Elise Music, and Wolfie Moncler. Stay Tuned! Instagram

  • Let’s Rock With Levi R. Moore and His Latest Emotion-Filled Release Titled “Waiting”

Los Angeles, CA. transplant Levi R. Moore, originally from Detroit, MI, has a new, melodic, and thought-provoking single, "Waiting," one of many songs he has recently written that has true meaning. Moore says about his new single, "It’s a love story. You know that feel-good kind of love where it doesn't matter what she’s throwing at you, you aren’t going anywhere! So you are "Waiting." This stunning record was recorded at Blackbird Studio in Nashville, TN. "Waiting" is a song Levi R. Moore wrote when feeling a sense of devotion and passion. "Waiting" starts us out with an electric entrance, surrounded by guitar notes and uptempo drums. As Levi R. enters the soundscape, he sings about his patience for her as he remains hopeful and faithful throughout this hard patch. "Tell me your secrets, tell me your lies" shows precisely how open and honest he wants their bond to be. You can tell just how deeply this connection ran and how badly he wanted to improve the situation. Levi yearns for her love and wants her to say that she cannot live without him! His passion drives him to strive for more for both of them; this love story inspires us to never give up on each other, regardless of their situations. "Waiting" is an anthem for the brave-hearted lovers trying to rekindle what was once magic; it's wonderful. Levi R. Moore displays his vocal range toward the second half of the record, really taking this record to the next level! "Waiting" is an experience you wouldn't want to miss out on. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Levi R. Moore! We love your new single, "Waiting." How did the concept for such a masterpiece come about? Started with strumming that G chord & it just poured out. At the time, I was feeling a whole lot of love and wanted to express it through music. The song arrangement as a whole is impeccable. How long did it take for you to make "Waiting" so unique and flavorful? I wrote waiting in about 2 hours. Then spent another couple of years trimming off the fat, so to speak. What is your usual process when creating records in general? Do you have a specific time when creating, or are you creating on the go? I think for the most part. Life needs to inspire you regardless of what type of song it is, so trying to force it out usually isn’t gonna get you. In my opinion anyway the best song. I think it’s better when it just comes naturally when you’re in the middle of practicing. What's the message you're delivering in "Waiting?" It’s a love song! It’s about that incredibly feel-good love. The love we should all experience where the whole world stops for that one person, and there’s nowhere else you’d rather be or anything else you’d rather do. What's next for you? Currently working on a new album and getting out there and playing shows. Instagram Facebook

  • ESQ’s Latest Single “Cement Shoes” Demonstrates Rejection Never Hurt So Good

ESQ is an indie-rock band based in sunny LA, California, spearheaded by singer-songwriter Larry Sager. "Cement Shoes" is his latest single, making a splash just in time for the summer. Larry Sager was originally from Detroit, MI, but his talents have quickly brought him to the southwest Sunshine State. Finding inspiration through rejection, the highly touted single "Cement Shoes" was released on May 27, 2022, and is available on all streaming platforms. "Cement Shoes" was inspired by the drummer who was rejected by a punk rock chick he was trying to pursue without reason. The lyrics paint a perfect picture of a girl using him for drugs and money, quickly reminding us how cold this world can be. The song was first recorded at Francis Ford's Zoetrope Studio in San Francisco, California. Written and produced by Larry Sager, mixed by Sylvia Massy. Larry Sager has brought "Cement Shoes" to life with engaging lyrics and a unique blend between instruments and vocals. The song emphasizes how the girl is clearly wasting his time and leading him on, while the "Cement Shoes" is a simile of dead weight that the girl represents. Oh, how cruel the game of love can be. The music video directly represents the song, the lyrics matching the video and the story being told. ESQ wanted to create a piece that everyone can relate to, whether you are a guy or girl; we think everyone has shared a similar experience at one point or another. You will find the chorus and flow of the song to be catchy and might just be your next summer road trip hit. Just in time for summer, stream ESQ's "Cement Shoes" today. Welcome to BuzzMusic ESQ, and congratulations on your latest release, "Cement Shoes." Are all of your songs based on life experiences? If so, how do you choose to pick a particular affair to write a song about? Generally, my lyrics are based upon my life experience, second - a friend's life experience - and if that doesn't work out - occasionally an imagined experience. . . . The lyrics usually come last for me - though sometimes I've got the first couple of lines or a song title I come up with - and I go from there - putting together the rest of the song. Try to have something that people can relate to in some manner. Personal relationships usually seep in there - whether or not my own. Cement Shoes was based upon a friend's frustration trying to date a woman who wouldn't give him the time of day. I knew her personally, and she was a talented, kind, attractive & industrious, creative person. I guess that doesn't necessarily make for an interesting lyric, so I added the drugs and money part. In real life, she eventually DID date him. And then he dumped her. A temporary tragic ending. It's my Luca Brasi (sleeping with the fishes) touch to the personal relationship: He loves her; she loves somebody else, and that person has no interest. I think everyone has been there. What would you like your fans to ultimately take from the lyrics and message of the song? For me - the lyrics are a necessary evil to get the music out there, at the same time, very important. We all face difficulties and frustrations - and hopefully, the lyrics are specific enough to define some issues - yet general enough for people to relate the subject matter to their own lives and interpret them in a meaningful way themselves. Where does the passion for making music come from? Give us a little background on "ESQ." Music is the lifeblood. It is always there. Through good times and bad times, quiet or sad. It doesn't leave you; it's always available. It doesn't fail. I heard classical music in the womb and, at age 9, discovered rock'n'roll. It was like: "what is that!!?!" From playing piano at age five and teaching myself the guitar at age 12 - I would pick stuff off recordings - sometimes spending hours at a time in my bedroom trying to play some riffs. I met up with some excellent musicians. We were playing a bunch of cover tunes - and one day, I mentioned - "Hey - I've got a bunch of original tunes that aren't really too bad. Maybe we can put it together in the studio and see where it goes?" Found a few background singers who are amazing and added their touch.... and there you have it: ESQ. What's next for the band? Are you working on any new music right now? We have 11 songs completed with 4 EPs planned for release. We are currently in the studio now, completing six more new tunes, and we plan to keep them coming. What's next for you? Once we complete our studio sessions - we hope to be playing at a venue near you soon! Studio recording is great. But nothing beats the fun of playing LIVE with a crowd. Instagram Facebook

  • AJ Smith Throws Punches In His Music Video, “Better”

From Nashville to NYC, singer-songwriter and versatile pop recording artist AJ Smith brings us back down to earth with a punchy music video for his single, "Better." AJ Smith prides himself on redefining the pop genre through playful irony and determination to explore sounds and styles. Early fans might remember him from The Kelly Clarkson Show. Besides that, he's gained over 100,000 monthly listeners across streaming platforms and is ready to continue his ventures through bubbly pop tracks with a splash of nostalgia. You definitely won't forget the mark he left on you after watching his recent music video for "Better." The song itself is this exhilarating pop anthem that discusses post-break-up thoughts, narcissism, and needing an outlet for all that stress. There's a ton of energy and drive in this single, all of which is visually captured in the song's music video. Taking a look at the video for "Better," we're greeted with Fight Club-like opening credits and bloody punches being thrown left and right. Later, we switch to scenes of AJ Smith in front of his therapist, letting them know all about his pain and thoughts amid a turbulent situation. It's interesting how the music video represents two distinct forms of therapy; venting to a licensed professional or throwing punches with the boys for stress relief. As Smith becomes battered and bruised, he flees the scene in a suit between two trains, hopefully finding some sort of answer or relief down the line. This was a very clever and conceptual music video, and we're positive viewers can relate to AJ Smith's anger, angst, and confusion. Throw a punch at your stressors with an added kick from AJ Smith's music video for "Better," now available on YouTube. Welcome to BuzzMusic, AJ Smith. We can totally relate to the anger and confusion in your recent music video for "Better." What compelled you to create this cathartic and powerful song, to begin with? The story behind the song itself is rooted in a few different moments in my life or in characters from my friends’ lives. But it comes down to a couple of things. First, if we’re unlucky enough to have an extremely toxic person in our lives, there’s the anguish of the trauma from that relationship, from loving that person despite their flaws, and continuing to get hurt. And second, sometimes that person inflicting hurt on us is ourselves. Sometimes as a result of the first, but self-limiting beliefs, self-neglect, self-abuse…those are all very real and painful things a lot of us endure in our journey as humans on this floating space rock, just trying to do our best. What inspired the Fight Club approach in your music video for "Better?" I really wanted to convey the concept of self-inflicted wounds. How we are almost required to beat ourselves up in the name of “vulnerable authenticity” while people like, comment, and cheer from afar, without knowing the suffering people in the arts put themselves through for their art to be consumed as content and for their whole sense of self to be digested as a content creator. And what better way to convey that than to show me fighting a happier, more confident person reveling in the attention and influence, who turned out to be me all along, with a crowd cheering as I literally beat myself senseless (Ben and I pulled punches for each other or used clever camera angles, but I wanted it to feel uncomfortably real in the end so I knew I couldn’t hold back when punching and slapping myself for that last scene). What did you want viewers to experience when watching the "Better" music video? Did you want to help them relieve some pent-up anger of their own? I think I’d want them to walk away feeling understood, feeling seen, and have some of their own anger from their own traumas released. And I think I wanted people to walk away reflective if they felt like it. At the end of the day, though, I think they’ll take away what they do and apply it to their lives in their own way, and sometimes that can be in way more profound ways than I ever intended. Which would you say is a better form of therapy based on the "Better" music video; a trip to the therapist or punching it out? Oh, good question…It depends! I love boxing - it’s a fitness activity I picked up in recent years. I believe in prioritizing self-care, and it’s something I’ve struggled with. But I’m realizing more and more that I have to re-charge to take charge, and for me, that means weekly therapy and regular trips to the gym. What's next for you? More music, more videos, and hopefully tour dates!! My next song, “Famous,” drops on June 3, with the music video hitting June 10!! Instagram Facebook

  • Emily Gabriele Packs A Relatable Punch in Her Sophomore Album, 'Omega Man'

Hailing from New York City, singer-songwriter and versatile pop recording artist Emily Gabriele grabs our attention in her new coming-of-age 8-track album entitled 'Omega Man.' Emily Gabriele has created a very distinct pop sound. Think Olivia Rodrigo meets Alanis Morissette. Having performed at iconic NYC venues like Pete's Candy Store, Arlene's Grocery, Rockwood Music Hall, and Bowery Electric, Gabriele is ready to continue broadening her fanbase with kickass live shows and equally compelling releases. Now, Emily Gabriele expands her discography with her latest addition, the personal and reflective 8-track album, 'Omega Man.' The album begins with the introductory track, "Freedom," kicking off with a groovy and foot-stomping alternative rock instrumental and Emily Gabriele's powerful melodic vocals. As she begins vocalizing how she doesn't want to drag someone down and be their ball and chains, Gabriele makes her way to the chant-worthy hook and reminds us that freedom is worth the fight. We love this anthemic and heavy intro track; it perfectly sets the album's tone and prepares us for the exciting listening experience. Onto track number two, "No Mind," the alternative rock energy continues through smooth acoustic and electric guitars alongside downtempo drums and Emily Gabriele's chilling vocal harmonies. She takes us through quite a reflective piece that discusses paying no mind to the turmoil, or in this case, the flames, around you. There's a certain comforting Sheryl Crow feel about this piece, bringing us the nostalgia of 00s pop alongside some personal and heartfelt messages. Moving into the third track, "Talking to Strangers," Emily Gabriele opens the song with her muffled vocals and instrumentals that groove into a lighthearted and uplifting sound. As we move through the verse, Gabriele ramps up the energy with some exciting alternative pop instrumentals while vocalizing her pain after realizing she's said too much. Although Gabriele's lyrics are rather personal and vulnerable, we can't help but tap our feet to these groovy and lighthearted instrumentals. Reaching the album's halfway point with "Legs," Emily Gabriele leads us into one of the album's most sensual and soulful pieces. The track kicks off with a plucky electric guitar, downtempo drums, and a bright background organ alongside Emily Gabriele's expressive and charismatic vocals. While singing about not forgetting the harsh words someone said, she curls up into a ball and hides behind her "Legs" in hopes of lessening the burden she carries. We adore this expressive and dynamic track; it might be our favorite on the album. The album's fifth track is the 12-second interlude, "Pretty Neat, Huh?." This interlude features nothing more than a bright guitar strum and a child in awe of the sound she's created while what sounds like her father gives her a pat on the back. It offers hints of precious memories that Emily Gabriele holds dear to her heart. Jumping into the sixth track, "Haunted," the song slowly expands with emotional and airy pads that lead into delicate piano melodies and Emily Gabriele's cathartic vocals. As she touches on feeling haunted by an emotional situation and counting the kitchen tiles or cleaning the bathroom to pass the time, she launches her chilling instrumentals through our speakers to complete the overall vulnerable atmosphere. We're sure any listener can relate to Emily Gabriele's lyrics of feeling haunted and burdened by personal situations that you can't control. Reaching the album's seventh track, "Tobacco Leaves," we're met with glimmering background pads that slowly lift the song into a bright and soothing atmosphere with powerful piano melodies and Emily Gabriele's comforting vocals. As she makes her way through this emotional piece, Gabriele touches on themes of grief and checking her pulse to ensure she's alive and well. The song's instrumentals offer this sweet and harmonious alternative pop sound that gives Emily Gabriele's lyrics tons of emotional depth. Landing on the album's eighth and final track, "Integrity, Man," we jump into this exciting and upbeat tune through Emily Gabriele's bright vocals alongside her punchy drums and plucky guitars. Gabriele uses this track to express how some people are up to no good and how she's jealous of how others can be so careless. This song is incredibly cathartic; we can tell Gabriele wrote this piece when someone let her down. Her catchy melodies and lyrics close the album and remind us not to put our trust in people who won't have our backs. This was such a personal and vulnerable album, packed with tons of emotion and relatable themes that any listener can relate to. Take a deep dive into the world of Emily Gabriele with her sophomore 8-track album, 'Omega Man,' now available on all digital streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Emily Gabriele. We're thrilled to feature such a relatable and honest album like 'Omega Man.' What initially inspired you to create this dynamic record? What experiences led you to the studio? Thanks for having me. Life inspired me to create “Omega Man.” The album is a collection of songs that explore coming-of-age themes like relationships and grief. The entire project was created remotely during the pandemic in collaboration with UK-based producer Chris Clarke. Could you expand on the overall concept or theme within your album 'Omega Man'? Who is the 'Omega Man,' and what significance does that title hold? Sure. Omega Man was what my Dad’s childhood friends used to call him. He was a source of truth and ethics among his peers. They would be playing baseball in the street and get into an argument on whether a ball was in or out of bounds. They would then decide they should go ask my Dad, aka ‘Omega Man,’ to settle the score. I learned of the nickname and the story behind it from one of his lifelong friends at this funeral. What was your favorite part about creating the 'Omega Man' album? What experiences did you appreciate most? I really appreciated the collaboration. Chris Clarke, who produced the entire album, worked with me virtually. We spent a lot of time on Zoom working on each song. Our sessions and time together were a cornerstone of how I experienced the pandemic. Not only is Chris a talented producer and musician, but he is also a wonderful guy. He’s positive, funny, and encouraging. I am so grateful for his creative partnership and to have worked with him to bring ‘Omega Man’ to life. Which song from 'Omega Man' is the most personal to you and why? What makes you so drawn to that piece in particular? All of the songs are personal to me – I wrote them! The song that breeds the most vulnerability is “Haunted.” It’s the first song I wrote shortly after the Father died. Sonically, I think it comes across differently than the other songs on the project. What do you hope the 'Omega Man' album does for listeners? Do you hope they can relate or find peace of mind after listening? I hope that ‘Omega Man’ tells a story that listeners enjoy and want to revisit. Whether you listen to “Freedom” with the windows down while you’re cruising on a highway, “Tobacco Leaves” on your evening walk, or “Talking to Strangers” when you’re cooking dinner, I hope listeners continue to listen and enjoy. Papoose indeed proved to us on this banger that he is only "50% Human." Welcome to BuzzMusic Rothstein Beatz. "50% Human" is incredible, from the production to the ill verses. What was your favorite part about the creative process and the final product? Thank you, I appreciate the love. My favorite part about the creative process is creating a landscape for an artist to be creative and having dope production and dope lyrics makes a dope record. Papoose is a musical legend. How did you get a placement on his catalog, and how did you build this relationship with him? Salute to Papoose, I am a big Papoose fan and it was super dope to have 2 songs with him. I have to give big thanks to my guy Jay Swiftz who is also a producer has known Papoose since he was a teenager and told me he was working on a project, so I submitted a beat pack, and a couple of weeks later, I got a call he wanted to use my beats, and the rest is history. The production of "50% Human" is inhumane in the best way; let us in on your creative secrets and what you do to stay on top of your game? I have to say I study the great producers who came before me and then put my twist on it. I feel like the best secret is if you don’t feel it in your spirit keep cooking. Having worked with many legends, what was the best piece of advice you've received while rubbing shoulders with the greats? Come in with no ego and stay humble because they have done what you are trying to do so come to listen and learn. I like to be a sponge and I’ve learned so much that help me in my career just by being in the room. What's next for you? What’s next for me is I am currently working with my artist on my label Casino Gang Records: Bran Tha Brain, Megan B, and Naomi J. As well as working on another record with Papoose and other well-known artists coming later this year. Instagram Twitter

Join Summer Rios in her goosebump-serving cover of "Fingers Crossed" on digital streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Summer Rios. Wow! What an incredible cover of "Fingers Crossed" that you performed! What inspired you to cover this particular song? I’ve been a huge fan of Lauren Spencer Smith for a while now and once my manager and team decided our best bet was to do a cover next I instantly knew what song I want to do! Lauren has such a powerful strong voice and the notes she hit are insane and I want to try and match the energy as much as I could! Fingers Crossed hits home to me personally. When you perform covers, such as "Fingers Crossed," would you say you hone into particular life events of your own to bring such emotionality to the song, or are all of the emotions something you need to work to bring forth into the songs you sing? When doing covers I always remember to put my full emotions and feelings into it so I can feel the song more and the viewers can feel the emotion. I always keep my personal perspective in the back of my mind so I can relate to the song more and feel each lyric. What aspect of "Fingers Crossed" and the expressions you brought to it were you hoping would resonate most with your audience? I love the lyric where she says: “Wish you said you loved me when you didn’t have your fingers crossed” because I think that can mean a ton to many different people when it comes to just wanting to feel love and accepted. It resonates with my audience because I tend to write sad love songs so covering it was keeping my theme on track and keeping my fans and audience still hyped! Do you see yourself crafting another cover as your next release or can listeners expect more original work in the months to come? More original work for sure! I’ve been working on a lot of originals lately and have been in and out of the studio and booking lots of writing sessions with my producers What's next for you? Im hoping to come out with a ton of EPs and albums within these next couple of months so be on the lookout! I’m traveling a ton soon as well. Instagram
