- SERYOOSANE Gets Reflective With His Latest Track "WAKE UP BY"
LA-raised, 21-year old rap artist SERYOOSANE has been releasing remarkably introspective music. We appreciate the perspective SERYOOSANE has, and how he decides to emulate that to his listening base. His sound focuses more on the outflow of lyricism than a dramatic production. That's one aspect we really have come to appreciate from SERYOOSANE--how much value he places in the quality of lyricism and its execution regarding the vocals. SERYOOSANE's inner desire to create music has always been present at a young age, and now, he's successfully delivering thought-provoking lyricism to all listeners alike. SERYOOSANE has offered up his underground, low-key sound in his recent release "WAKE UP BY". The track maintains a very restrained and laid-back atmosphere, which comes from the consistency of the chosen production. The beats compliment the straightforward attitude of SERYOOSANE, and ultimately pushes that nonchalant vibe from him. "WAKE UP BY" starts itself off with an inspirational message from SERYOOSANE, and flows into him communicating his life to listeners, including the path he's wanting to go down for himself. "It's hard to believe, but I've got to proceed"--SERYOOSANE establishes the difficulties in believing oneself and one's goals, but assures that one must have faith within themselves and keep going. SERYOOSANE took "WAKE UP BY" to be a reflective and communicative track, that'll require some time on the listener's end to listen thoroughly and pick apart each verse to understand its entirety. We definitely felt more in tune with the life of SERYOOSANE after listening to "WAKE UP BY", which we highly suggest R&B/Rap listeners check out in order to resonate with his overall message. Pop artist Audrey de Boer hails from British Columbia, Canada, and has been working hard throughout 2019 to get her true intentions across to her listeners. She delicately tells her stories, highlighting some of her artistic talents along the way. Her voice gets extremely dynamic as you listen through her music, even music that came before 2019! We enjoy the fact we get a consistent sound from Audrey de Boer because it easily shows us what we can expect each time a new track releases. Audrey de Boer gave it her all with her 2019 releases. When we came across track releases such as "Nice Guy", we realize the intrinsic pop element Audrey de Boer has tied to her vocal delivery. She adheres to the Pop music category, working to articulate her sounding in a hopeful way that stands out to listeners. "Nice Guy" is definitely that track you can see featured on your local hit radio station playlist, which paints a clearer picture of the type of sound Audrey de Boer produces with her voice. Other tracks such as "love x war" is more serene and innocent than other notable tracks. With this track, Audrey tries to be softer from a vocal standpoint, instilling a sense of comfort within listeners. Yet, once listening to the lyricism of Audrey de Boer, we come to understand that there's pain and an intricate system of emotion behind her songs. "love x war" is one offering from Audrey de Boer that showcases her octave range extremely well, which makes it one of our favorite 2019 releases from her! All in all, Audrey de Boer had 2019 filled with her inspirations and vocal offerings, and she assures that 2020 will follow a similar suit! Listen to the soundings of Audrey de Boer here. Welcome, Audrey de Boer! We really appreciated the sound you gave listeners throughout 2019. Notably, your 2019 was smooth, consistent, and really adhered to that pop-like styling. How do you feel looking back at how your music was produced? Hi! Thank you so much for having me back. Yes, 2019 has been such an incredible year for my music and I have now marked the full first year of my music career as I released my very first song – Tell Me You Love Me - to the world in December 2018. Looking back on 2019, I feel that with each song I learned something new about how I would do a little of everything differently and equally and how I would do a lot of everything the same. The songs that I released in 2019 are all produced with Adam Stanton and we work very well together. I am so proud of each production and would say that the thing I love the most about music is the ability to create such different feelings depending on the way I want to go with the song. I am super happy with each single I’ve created and will keep bringing lots of creativity to each track moving forward. As a young artist, do you feel there are any prominent challenges you face artistically as a result of your age? Yes and no. I feel like being so young is an advantage in that I have so much to learn about everything and I feel like starting out in the professional music scene at 16 allowed me to have room to sort out so many things early. On the flip side, I am so new to everything and I have so much to learn. Time is such a gift and we all know that truly being artistic takes time to play with the processes to build great tracks. I feel that there are so many others in this sea of new and young artists, so it is really important to be artistically creative and find your own true sound in order for you to stand out amongst everyone. Being a teen, I absolutely get overwhelmed with all the commitments I have to school, work, and wanting to spend all my time working on music. This being my graduating year from high school adds a layer of challenges as I have many goals for music and also have many commitments in my final high school year. Achieving balance is difficult, but music is always the thing that keeps my head clear. Tracks like "love x war" really captured our hearts for the full 2 minutes and 57 seconds of the song. How do you ensure that you're winning over your listeners regarding that intricate connection between artist and listener? “love x war” has undoubtedly been the most vulnerable song for me and I feel that is why the artist to listener connection is so strong throughout the entire song. The lyrics in “love x war” are heart-wrenching because they were written directly from my soul and were born and recorded in the moment of one of the most painful experiences of my life. The emotional weakness and passion in my voice come through exactly as it unfolded. For all my songs I write and create them to stay true to the story that I am telling which allows the real, raw emotions to stand out in the recordings and capture the attention of the listener. I feel that this connection is essential for me as an artist to my listeners and affects me the same way when I am listening to other artists' songs. When I feel vulnerable, I feel a different connection with that music because it changes the way the song leaves me. As a musician, please tell us a bit about your songwriting process. How do you take your vision and turn it into a completed product? My songwriting process varies, depending on where I am and how I feel. I do not follow a specific songwriting process. I never force myself to write a song in a certain way. Most of the time when a song idea comes to my mind whether it’s the hook, a melody idea, the meaning of the song, or some random words that I would like in the song, I will record any of these things into my Voice Memos and then listen back to them and build on them. I’ll journal about the story I’m telling and it’s a process of trial and daring to suck when I vibe with whatever melody ideas come to me. I find it difficult to write to something really stimulating so most of the time when I write prefer to come up with a little vibe or a simple chord progression once I have an idea of the mood of the song. Will 2020 be seeing any collaboration with other artists? Absolutely! I am so excited to say that as of right now there are two collaborations in the works and there will be more to come in 2020! As a final thought, how are you hoping to start off 2020 artistically? Are you one to set goals, or do you follow more of a live-as-you-go type of perspective? I’m very excited about 2020! While my focus is always to continue making new music, my big goal for 2020 is live shows. I am stoked to get out to play my songs on stage, as it is such a different musical experience for me and the listeners. I am absolutely the type to set goals as I find that I work better when I create deadlines for myself. instagram.com/audreydeboerofficial facebook.com/AudreyDeBoerOfficial #BuzzMusic
- BuzzMusic Presents Evan Croft & His Glowing Sound
Eclectic artist Evan Croft is taking a look back at his 2019, and it's easily observable that he had a steady outflow of music. With four-track releases spread out throughout the year, it's so clear how Evan and his overall sound has progressed. The sounding and production get more shaped into what fits and complements Evan the best. This is what makes us intrigued to see what he releases during 2020, but for now, a review over his tracks for this past year! Evan Croft has released a surplus of singles throughout 2019. Starting with "Cloud Nine", released in early 2019, the track encompasses an inspirational message from Evan Croft. He uses "Cloud Nine" as a metaphor, expressing personal emotions and thoughts he's currently withstanding in his love life. It's more of a serene and innocent atmosphere that's created, which completely contrasts from later releases, such as "Jam". The track features artist Lexxacon, and integrates such upbeat and energized beats! Making use of tropical instrumentals, Evan Croft synthesizes the perfect track for anyone needing a bit of regeneration. We absolutely love the feeling "Jam" emulates! It's addictingly catchy and flows so easily. We've already added it to some of our workout playlists because it gives you that necessary kick of energy! As 2019 ends, Evan Croft releases "Together", a song that captures more of a raspy and raw tone from Evan. That's what we found made the track more intimate and required more of that tethered connection between us as listeners and Evan Croft as an artist. Evan Croft definitely aims for that deeper mentality throughout his tracks, and 2019 was needless to say, a thoughtful and eloquent year for Evan Croft! Listen to the 2019 soundings of Evan Croft here. Welcome to BuzzMusic Evan Croft! Now that the year is swiftly coming to an end, how do you feel about the way you've expressed yourself and your artistry in 2019? I feel like I did a much better job this year than in previous years. Before I would just release a track and hope for the best without really promoting it. "Cloud Nine" started off your 2019 tracklist, being released in late January of this year. Do you see a difference in style and flow from "Cloud Nine", compared to your most recent release "Together"? Cloud Nine is a more uptempo track. Compared to Together, this song had a more positive and bouncy vibe than Together's acoustic flow and more powerful vocals. Out of the four-track releases 2019 saw from you, which track was favored more from your listening base? What track did you personally prefer? My fans definitely liked Jam out of all of my releases of 2019. I believed they liked the Afro feel and the party vibes the song has. My personal favorite out of these four was Cloud Nine because it was my first time crossing over from R&B to pop. It was also my first time singing & rapping on the same track. One of our favorite tracks was "Together". The track featured some prominent elements that we definitely didn't hear from other tracks 2019 saw. Was "Together" approached in a varied way compared to the three earlier tracks? I wanted Together to be more of an uplifting song than the last three singles. I decided to go with a more acoustic track with this song so I could get the message out and to properly showcase my vocals. Are there any new components you're hoping to integrate into your 2020 sounding? I hope to add a little Hip Hop and R&B into this years sound. We hope 2020 is as successful as 2019 was for you, Evan Croft! What's the main goal now for the New Year?! My main goal is to have my debut album ready for May 2020. instagram.com/evandcroft facebook.com/evandcroft #BuzzMusic
- Hip Hop Artist Charmaine Renee Highlights Many Sides of Her Artistry During 2019!
There's effortless confidence that pours off of Charmaine Renee and her vocalism. When Charmaine Renee consistently released singles throughout 2019, we knew that each one would be able to showcase her artistry in a different light. As of now, 2019 has seen three tracks from Renee, each featuring her recognizable melody and light-hearted rap verses. What did 2019 look like for Charmaine Renee? Retro, integrative and easily flowable are characteristics intrinsic to the sound we've seen from Charmaine Renee in the past year. Charmaine Renee has a creamy voice that establishes a truly laidback and chill atmosphere for listeners. "Come Chill" blends multiple instrumentals together in order to create a chaotic, yet complementary, environment. We can easily strip back the quality that comes from "Come Chill", and the harmonious tune Charmaine Renee can naturally reach with her vocal abilities. "Come Chill" is such a soft and light vocal tune that Charmaine Renee freely emulates, and once it's matched to the eclectic production styling, "Come Chill" can be seen as a contemporary Hip/Hop 2019 track! Charmaine Renee didn't stop at "Come Chill", as her release "No Games" was also distributed during the 2019 year. "No Games" contains more energy and vigor than what we saw from "Come Chill". This is an aspect we appreciate from artists such as Charmaine Renee--releasing tracks that offer a different ambiance and overall feeling. We're able to switch up songs easily with Renee's 2019 tracklist, depending on what kind of vibe we're requiring during that time. Charmaine Renee isn't stopping here at manifesting these various atmospheres for listeners--there's more work to be released in the 2020 year, so keep your ears peeled for what's to come from Charmaine Renee! Listen to the 2019 tracks of Charmaine Renee here. Hey, Renee Gibson! How has the music scene been treating you throughout the releases of your 2019 tracks? Throughout the releases of my music in 2019 I have acquired relationships with other artists and producers through social media. The music scene for me has had its ups and downs, however because this is something I genuinely love to do, I have been willing to soak up as much as I can in this field. There are positive and negative elements in doing so, however I am fully equipped and ready to handle all that comes my way. 2019 saw the release of a few varying singles from you! Out of each track you worked on, which one could be considered the "anthem" of your 2019? Out of the releases I have put out in 2019 I would have to say my anthem would be “Bout That” this track is full of energy and is letting the world know, I’m about my paper and my team. It shows I have a fun and “go get her” type spirit, but also warns you not to cross me. I believe this is my anthem for the year because I have been prepared to handle everything that has come my way in the previous decade, and no it is all about being fierce and about prosperity moving forward. Let's talk about your music video for "Come Chill". Were you involved in the creative process for constructing the video, or was that already manufactured for you? Do you prefer to have a say in everything involved in your creative process as an artist? When it came down to the video for “Come Chill” I personally had a specific vision in mind. On the day of the actual video things were not coming together as I planned. For this video I was looking for a fun “outside barbeque, house party type feel”, I realized the day of that I had to work with the individuals I had. When it comes to the production and/or visuals of my projects I HAVE to be involved. I understand everyone has their own expertise which is why I do try to collaborate with other ideas and concepts but only I really know the sound and feel I am looking for in my brand. Are there any challenges you've predominantly faced during the past year, artistically? How do you typically surpass the artistic challenges that you've encountered during 2019? 2019 was the first year I decided to step out as an independent artist. I have done features, written music, and been in a group. As an independent artist I feel I accomplished more than I thought I would, but the hardest thing throughout the process for me would be marketing. I know I have what it takes to make it yet have struggled in getting my material out to the public to be heard the way it should be. This has definitely been a little discouraging but what keeps me motivated and makes it easier is my determination and drive to succeed. The more work I put out and the more opportunities I seize will make room for me, and I truly believe that. Would you ever consider integrating genre elements that listeners haven't yet seen from Renee Gibson? Do you feel comfortable working with sounds that aren't heavily used within your overall sound? YES!. LOL. I believe it is very important to be versatile. Because I write my own material I believe integrating new concepts and sounds within my music will catch people by surprise and show that I am willing to step outside of the box creatively, while still staying true to my individuality. Right now my main focus is getting my voice out there. Once the world captures a glimpse of who I am is when I plan to become a little more unpredictable. We loved getting the chance to chat with you, Renee! We hope that 2020 is great to you artistically and personally! Where's the road headed for you now? I appreciate working with you all as well, in 2020 I will be releasing the 2 Eps I recorded in 2019, As well as other singles and videos collectively. I look forward to doing more collaborations as well, and writing my 3rd Ep. instagram.com/crgibson616 #BuzzMusic
- GiZRoK Hits the R&B and Hip Hop Music Scene With Strength
As a breakout artist, GiZRoK hits the R&B/Hip Hop music scene with strength! Already being involved in various collaborations, GiZRoK was the artist to work with this past year. He released consistent tracks, averaging on almost one track per month. Nevertheless, the persistent work we see from GiZRoK doesn't compromise the quality of anything he releases. As listeners, we know we can expect similar soundings from GiZRoK every time, allowing for that natural comfort in knowing we can continuously expect quality music from him. During the past year, listeners got to hear a variety of releases from GiZRoK, and today we're in for a treat by reviewing such singles 2019 saw from GiZRoK! There is such an intriguing piano production that's heavily integrated into the introduction of GiZRoK's track release "Passionate". In our opinions, this was one of GiZRoK's most centralizing tracks. There's a potent level of charisma that GiZRoK displays through "Passionate". It's the same magnetic appeal that he's able to sustain within his 2019 track "Destiny". That natural and easily flowing dazzle pours off of GiZRoK's vocal performance. When we listen to the chorus of "Destiny", we get more of a deep and refined blend of GiZRoK and the underlying but melded beat. Coursing through "Destiny", you'll find that eventually, GiZRoK gets the chance to display his vocal range, which is present about halfway into the track. We really enjoyed the softer sounding melodies brought about in this track, and it attributed highly to that charming mood GiZRoK effortlessly puts his listeners into. Other tracks from GiZRoK include "I Remember", which highlights more of an intimate side of GiZRoK. Here, GiZRoK takes the time of the track to explore his emotions of a past woman and communicates such prominent emotions throughout the track. GiZRoK admits in "I Remember" his dissatisfaction with his own decisions, which really allows for that private communicative experience between artist and listener. All in all, we love to highlight these tracks GiZRoK has offered to the R&B music community, but we also must highlight that these tracks don't even begin the tracklist GiZRoK has constructed for the 2019 year. Here's hoping that 2020 is filled with just as many releases (no selfish reasoning intended)....(maybe slightly selfish reasoning). Listen to GiZRoK here. Welcome, GiZRoK! Let's get right into talking about how your sound flourished during the course of 2019! Looking back now, can you describe how you have seen your own artistry grow throughout the year? Definitely throughout the year, I have done a lot of cool and crazy things that I wouldn’t have thought was possible a few years ago. From collaborating with other artists, being on the radio, and even coming out with my own project soon 2019 was a big step in my career. Would you say that the creative flow for tracks like "I Remember" comes naturally to you, or is it a type of flow that you need to practice and manifest over time? For one shout out to JiggSaw for joining in on the song with me. As far as the creative flow for tracks like “I Remember”, I wouldn’t want to say natural, I pretty much listen to the beat and write what it tells me. It doesn’t feel natural but because I have been writing music for so long I guess you could say it’s natural. Adhering mostly to the R&B music scene, are there any unique genre components that you would integrate within your sound--components that you have yet to work with yourself? It’s so much that I have done that is yet to be released. My main component is house music. I haven’t found a producer yet to embarks on that journey. Once I do then it is on! We know that you strive for an innovative sound with all you release for your listeners. Are you able to walk us through that creative process, and how you go about ensuring that the sound you synthesize is truly innovative? I first find a beat and listen to the beat to see what kind of topic it gives me. After that I just let my mind wonder. Most of the time it takes me about 30 minutes, sometimes it can take up to 2 hours. Once it set and done I listen to it many times to make sure it’s something I can see myself jamming out too. If I can’t jam out to it no one will. Artists are their biggest critics. We've heard that your family really helped with introducing you to a variety of genres when you were young. Do you think that the connection you had with your family regarding music helped sparked that initial desire and inspiration to pursue music professionally? Definitely, if I didn’t learn anything else from my family I learned what a challenge was. I’m definitely not a big fan of loosing. I’ve lost a lot and learned a lot pursing music. With those challenges, it basically gave me the inspiration to try new things. I don’t know where I would be if it wasn’t for my family. We appreciate the time, GiZRoK, to talk with us about your 2019 sound! Are you setting any personal or artistic goals for yourself for the New Year? Besides the fact of me not eating pork. I’m pretty much a man that takes it one day at a time. I may come out with a whole reggae album with everything I have been listening to lately. I also want to increase my features this year. As far as any other artistic goals wherever the music takes me, I will follow. facebook.com/GETEMGIZ instagram.com/gizroknation #BuzzMusic
- Jaxx James Brings a New Perspective to the Hip Hop Scene With "Red Velvet"
Emerging Hip Hop artist Jaxx James hails from Phoenix, Arizona, where he synthesizes his newfound passion for music and applies it to his recent creations. Jaxx James is bringing interesting components into the rap scene we know and hear today, mainly with his production stylings. The production of his tracks sounds unique to anything we've heard before from Hip Hop and Rap artists. There's undoubtedly a raw element to the vocal outflow of Jaxx James, which we know is due to his fresh perspective in the music world. With the release of his album "Neon Cowboy", Jaxx James presents his artistic capabilities to his new listening base! Jaxx James has come out with his track "Red Velvet" right from his album "Neon Cowboy". This particular track off the record has integrated a distinctive autotune, but in a way where it fits in well with the production. You know some rap tracks that obsessively incorporate autotune and it feels completely fabricated? We don't get that feeling at all with Jaxx James, and especially not in "Red Velvet". The track itself has a consistent beat with elements of the flute embedded within the production, which we found to attribute to the overall ambiance of the track incredibly well. "Red Velvet" is Jaxx James' track that's a little more rambunctious and energized than what the other tracks off of his album have to offer. We suggest you check out the work of Jaxx James if you're a fan in the Hip/Hop and Rap music scene! Discover "Red Velvet" here. Hey there, Jaxx James! What a year 2019 was for you artistically with the release of "Neon Cowboy"! From the album, which track was your preferred one to perform live? I really am proud of the entire album but a personal favorite for me is "cowboy". It really hits home for me and the smooth style of how the track rides is my style. "Red Velvet" had such a sense of flow and a calm hype to it. What kind of atmosphere were you hoping to pass onto your listeners with this particular track? The main point I was looking for in "red velvet" was trust. I also thought it could be such a smooth but powerful hit as soon as I recorded it. Can you describe how you feel how the music scene in Phoenix right now is aiding towards your growth as an artist? Do you feel inspired by the kind of music predominantly seen throughout the Arizona state? Oh most definitely, Phoenix is just dying for a big star to break out. Its helped me grow a lot with other great competition. It's one of the fastest-growing cities and you have other great artists like my friend "CincoTheWolf". Artistically, you're known for bringing in various genres within your music, in order to strive for that more versatile sounding. What kind of elements do you believe are integral to that versatile sound you aim to achieve? Just having an open mind. I believe all music is a beautiful art. It's important as artists to listen to all types of music. We've heard that your second album is in the works! When is it set to debut?! How are you approaching this album contrastingly from "Neon Cowboy"? Yes, I'm aiming for a late summer release maybe in July. I've definitely learned from a few mistakes and this album will show a lot of growth this summer. Get ready for an all-new Jaxx! We hope that 2020 is good for you, Jaxx James! Where are you headed from here, besides the cultivation of your second album? Just trying to grow my fan base and hopefully, start touring as an independent artist. instagram.com/jaxxjamesss #BuzzMusic
- Osmunda Helps Remind Us All That “Love Will Overcome” With New Track
It’s not often that we can come across artists with such a true vision and overall message of unity, but we are blessed today with Osmunda. Bringing her track “Love Will Overcome” to the world, we are reminded that we are all here for a greater purpose and that we are uniting for a bigger purpose. That purpose is to love. Osmunda's “Love Will Overcome” starts out with an easy to grasp clap along, and a strong opening lyric of “make love, not walls”. Instantly, listeners are sucked into a utopia of sonic blessings to the ears. The melody is easy to follow and the lyrics are captivating, leaving you on edge for what her next phrase will be. By the time the chorus comes around, there is a jolting feeling created that fully gets her point across, leaving you to believe that together we can overcome negativity with love. A lot of Osmunda’s vocals are unique while also familiar feeling, reminding me of Madonna and other contemporaries. Hailing from New Mexico, Osmunda took the leap of faith in moving to Los Angeles and has since traveled the world extensively. Calling the earth her home, Osmunda’s music is something for all ears. Living in a world full of hate, Osmunda’s positivity shines and glows in her music and resonates with all listeners. We highly suggest giving her single “Love Will Overcome” and we can promise you will be happy you did. In the words of Osmunda, “Live From Your Heart”. Listen to "Love Will Overcome" here. You are a world traveler; in what place of the world did you find the inspiration to write your new song “Love Will Overcome”? The inspiration came from all around the planet as a result of all of the beautiful people who marched & spoke up for what they believe in. As an artist, do you believe that every artist has the responsibility to use their platform to unite us all with love? As artists, we should follow what our hearts call us to do. What was the biggest music scene/ landscape difference for you being from New Mexico, and moving to Los Angeles? Because I grew up with a mama who loved Credence & Joan Baez, I had a wide variety of 70’s influences even as a young girl. New Mexico also has its own style, known as Musica Nuevo Mexicana (folk music of Hispanos) which was an early influence. As I got older, I also embraced the 80’s & 90’s pop culture as well. Once I had moved to Los Angeles, I was able to build a larger group of like-minded creatives to collaborate with. As a society, how can we all remind ourselves that “Love Will Overcome”? By recognizing everyone as one human tribe and remembering that love is the answer. Lastly, any final words of love & positivity that you’d like to share with anyone listening/ reading? Through empathy & forgiveness, we can heal our hearts and manifest beauty. facebook.com/osmundamusic instagram.com/osmundamusic twitter.com/osmundamusic #BuzzMusic

G.Baby released his single titled “Touch Your Body” featuring the artist S Pri and this song is club ready! Listening to this song I instantly began dancing alongside the rhythm. The dancehall paradise vibe it gives felt musically exotic while it sucks you into the song and opens a pathway to escape for the listener. Listening to “Touch Your Body” was not only a sensational experience, but it placed you in an imaginative setting that helped you enjoy the dimensions of the song to its fullest. - Rock out to “Better Way” by Yigga Digga
Yigga Digga is an exciting heavy rock band hailing from Western, PA. The eclectic four-piece prides themselves on their no-gimmick, pure rock delivery. Yigga Digga is known for their big riffs, rock attitude, and their versatile ability to combine both hard rock and metal. They create an accessible sound that is reachable by fans of both genres alike! "Better Way is dedicated to those people who are just sort of stuck in life. Whether its by decision or circumstance, some folks just can't seem to catch a break, and at some point after 'trading in tomorrow for today' enough times you find yourself saying 'there's gotta be a better way" - Chris Semonik, lead vocals & guitar on Better Way The use of melody in the verses throughout Yigga Digga’s song "Better Way” is a big part of what makes their sound unique. The vocal performances here have definite hard-rock energy to them, it’s a good moment within which listeners can get a clear and concise hold of the lyrics, the meaning behind the music, and at the same time feel a little closer to Yigga Digga as a band. "Better Way” on the whole doesn’t come across as your average heavy metal recording, consistently there’s a strong presence of songwriting as opposed to just instrumental weight. The melody winds around in a simple and hypnotic manner during the verses, then there’s this brilliant build-up, the musical intensity beginning to rise, and then the spectacular hook and the resolve. The moment at which every moment meets and the sound and the concept concludes and satisfy. The guitar riffs spiraling out of control towards the end keep the mind engaged and mesmerized, and then the final bit of vocals bring that pinnacle of emotion and passion. The way Yigga Digga fuse creative songwriting and melody with this heavy metal edge is impressive and memorable. "Better Way” stays with you long after its end! Hopefully, there’s much more to come from Yigga Digga! Listen to "Better Way" here.
- Cassidy King Releases “Professional Smiler” an Empathetic Anthem for Anyone Who Has Ever Felt Alone
“Professional Smiler” is an incredibly touching new release from singer/songwriter Cassidy King. After coming out as queer and detailing her struggle with mental health, Cassidy worked hard to create a single that would help represent those feelings for people going through similar situations. “Professional Smiler” has an insanely catchy melody to it, which helps ingrain the meaningful message to the listener even further. The chorus sings, “Feels like you’re imploding, it’s hard sometimes. But you gotta keep going, it’s hard sometimes” among other lyrics, the message within the hook hits with complete impact. Cassidy King is completely compassionate and empathetic with her important message. “Professional Smiler” is for anyone who needs to know they are not alone in the world. There are so many people going through similar struggles and it takes a strong person like Cassidy King to use her powerful reach to spread this incredible message.
