This is the aspect that makes Dezert Eagle and his music resonate with us. He maintains an edge that is pivotal to have in the rap scene today. Dezert Eagle recently came out with a fresh design of underground rap, "Handling My Business". The way Dezert Eagle phrased this track was completely complementing to him and his sound. Every aspect of "Handling My Business" tied in with one another to produce that prominent old school vibe. It's the type of vibe you can easily connect with as a listener. "Handling My Business" is created to feel like an intimate experience with the artist and listener. Dezert Eagle does a phenomenal job at creating that type of communion with his listening base. It's a smooth interaction with Dezert Eagle in "Handling My Business". He's the type of artist that thrives off of making that honest and warm atmosphere through music. Dezert Eagle is resourceful with his sound, and how he collects various melodies to produce the underlying beat in the track. He's memorable, which means you'll be hearing more about this artist in the near future! Hey Dezert Eagle! We gave a listen to "Handling My Business" and immediately appreciated the old-school stylings you were able to integrate and make so prominent throughout the track. Would you say that the old school type feel is a huge characteristic of your artistry? I would definitely say its a heavy influence.! This particular track is literally pulled from the golden era of hip hop so the feeling is inevitable. However, Although my biggest influences come from the 90s era. I do not fit in a box that is sealed with solely an old school stamp. But this will become more apparent as I release more of the new music that's on the way. What did you personally want your listeners to receive from listening to "Handling My Business"? I am a very busy individual who hardly stays in one place for too long. Reason being that if something needs to be done then I'm gonna go do it. Always 'Handling my Business'. I'd say I made it with an expectation to resonate with all the hustlers of the world. But in every aspect of the word, not just the streets. My story is mine to tell, but any go-getter out there, whatever the field knows exactly what it means to be handling their business. Can you describe the various places you draw your lyrical inspiration from? Especially for the lyrics within "Handling My Business"? My lyrics are all drawn from a combination of personal experiences, experiences of family and friends and sometimes a combination of experiences and imagination when it comes to writing stories. Handling my Business was definitely drawn from my own experiences. Your tracks have always had a sense of intimacy, in the way that you connect pretty well with your listeners. Do you find this intimacy to remain with your listeners when you're performing live at shows? What's the experience like when you're playing your music in front of people? Yes. Most of the shows I do are in an intimate setting anyway. So I'm always able to connect with the audience. Once I get em then I've got em. I always get the crowd participation going and the energy is always of a high vibration. Handling My Business goes down in a live setting because the hook is so easy to relay.! We've heard that you're planning on releasing more tracks in the near future! What kind of sounding are you hoping to integrate into these tracks that contrast from the elements in "Handling My Business"? I have quite a broad spectrum of music to release this year. The vibe that you have captured from what you have heard so far will still remain throughout. But you will also hear some interesting but fully hip hop based music. instagram.com/dezerteaglemusic #BuzzMusic

Hailing from Denver, Colorado, Jxhn Dxe has contributed more of his intricate rap stylings to the end of the 2019 music scene. Jxhn Dxe prides himself in the natural approach he takes at curating the sound of his music, and there are a few admittable moments during his tracks where you're able to catch these organic tones. Artistically, Jxhn Dxe seeks to impart clarity on his listeners, especially through his chosen arrangement of melodies, and how he shapes them alongside his vocalism. We've been in tune with the most recent track offerings from Jxhn Dxe, as he opens up with a distinctive mellow vibe in his offering "Saturday". Through "Saturday" we're receiving that prominent flow from Jxhn Dxe that we almost always receive within his tracks. Nevertheless, there's more to the track than just his consistent outflow. Jxhn Dxe's track "Saturday" captures catchy and thought-provoking vocals, and ties them in with an extremely laidback beat. The result? A chill and hazy listening experience with Jxhn Dxe. There are specific components to the production of "Saturday" that amplifies that lethargic-type atmosphere. Jxhn Dxe ultimately hopes to lead with his music, and we can confidently say that "Saturday" is a good head start at establishing such authority within the music scene. We've already added "Saturday" to our trill, car ride playlist, mainly because it fits in perfectly with that car ride type of vibe you want when cruising along PCH - or at least that'll be our use out of it! - Big Badd Wolf Stimulates a Discussion Between Listener's With Single "Conversations"
Big Badd Wolf has promised us an album, and we aren't forgetting! "Conversations" was the second single 2019 saw from Big Badd Wolf, and it's the track that will come right from his future album. Still being in the mix, we're anticipating great things from what will be Big Badd Wolf's 2020 album! His sound has always used an element of autotune that warps the production into more of an eccentric and outgoing one. All in all, you'll listen to Big Badd Wolf and probably be feeling either laidback or introspective. Maybe a mix of both. Nevertheless, we're excited to present "Conversations" to the BuzzMusic community! "Conversations" is the most recent release that the music scene has seen from Big Badd Wolf, which debuted in 2019. The track has more of a low-key production styling, but adds more of an eclectic element with the echoing effect Big Badd Wolf uses to his dispense throughout "Conversations". The meaning of the song, in essence, focuses on a deeper connection he desires with another. It's a flowing and wavy environment presented to listeners, combined with elements of vulnerability once Big Badd Wolf delves into mental health. Ultimately, Big Badd Wolf brings about the conversation (pun intended) of mental health and the necessary connection one needs to aid through the process of overcoming it. We're inspired by the thoughts of Big Badd Wolf, and we're hoping there's more of this personal and private reflection from him throughout the rest of 2020! Listen to "Conversations" here. Welcome back, Big Badd Wolf! Now that we're fresh into the 2020 year, let's start off talking about what some of your 2020 goals are for your artistry this year, and how you plan to layout your artistry in 2020! My plans are growth and expansion! A lot more music! That includes my debut album "Careless Whispers", a collaboration project with fellow artist J Nio, and more. I'll also be stepping into the live scene, I'll be releasing some music videos, there's a podcast and a few other things in the works that I'm excited about. The layout is still developing, but follow me on Instagram for all the updates! Haha 2019 saw the release of "Conversations" from you. Do you feel you've gained the appropriate amount of traction you desired for the track? There's always room for improvement, especially at the early stages I'm at, and that's really exciting! I'm thrilled with how far the single has gone. It is a personal track, and to see people resonating means everything. What kind of ambiance did you intend to set with "Conversations"? On a similar note, was there an integral message embedded within the track that you hoped listeners would receive? I wanted to let the audience get a good look at me from a vulnerable perspective. The song touches on something that's always been relevant to me. I think a lot of people could put themselves into the song, and resonate with it in a way that creates a four-minute escape from reality. The message is one of connection. As we lose ourselves more, and more to technology let's not forget to practice the art of communication. It's important for us to connect. People change people. Although we know there isn't a specific release date for your 2020 album, can you give us and our readers any hints on the progress of the album so far? Absolutely, and thank you for asking! The album is very near completion. I've recorded everything on my end, and I'm waiting on a couple of features. Once those come in there will be final touches, and then it's ready! I couldn't be more excited, or terrified haha! This is going to be a beautiful start to an incredible journey. Thank everyone at Buzz Music for all that y'all have done. It means a lot to any artist. We love chatting with you about your music, Big Badd Wolf! We hope that 2020 is sincerely good for you and your artistry! Where are you headed now, besides the creation of the album? Straight into the cosmos! I'm on a mission to provide good vibes for the world! I hope you'll join me. instagram.com/awolfinsheepsclothin facebook.com/bjb.crzy #BuzzMusic
- Alluring & Entertaining Pop Artist Kit Major Shows Us Her "Wild Side" in End-Of-The-Year Release
Pop artist Kit Major has been consistently releasing tracks during this year, and her most recent releases have been offering a different kind of vocal performance! Currently residing in Los Angeles, CA, Kit Major grabs her inspiration from all around her to create lively and sultry soundings for listeners. Her songs contain such a playful aspect, they make you feel giddy and incredibly confident. We love the sense of power Kit Major keeps during her tracks, and this power wasn't any different in her most recent track. The end of 2019 sees the release of "Wild Side" from Kit Major. Right when we start the track, the catchy and upbeat rhythm highlights the energy the song will emulate from start to end. Kit Major's vocals soon fill the track, and her voice is very harmonious. She sings at a fast pace, which attributes to that bustling feeling. When we listen closely to the chosen synths for "Wild Side", it's clear that they were chosen strategically to make listeners feel incredibly jubilant. That is the perfect word to describe the way Kit Major and her voice make us feel--happy! She knows how to maintain a mysterious aspect to herself though, which skyrockets our curiosity on her next vocal offering. All in all, we find the track to be rambunctious, and full of inspiration for listeners to step out of their comfort zone. "Wild Side" matched well with the overall theme of Kit Major, and so we know we can expect similar soundings to be released in the upcoming year! Listen to Kit Major's "Wild Side" here. You grew up in Chicago and moved to Los Angeles to pursue music. What's the difference between the music scene's in each and how has it helped you shape where you are in your musical journey today? I started off in Chicago and played in the underground indie scene. The venues I went to were DIY art houses and I would carry my piano around wherever I went. There's so much art and freedom in LA, which is exciting. I think being in Chicago nurtured me and made me into the artist and person I am today. We really enjoyed your new single 'Wild Side'. What inspired this song? Thank you! It started out when my friend was seeing someone who had never gone out dancing before and I thought about what happens when you're in a relationship and you don't go out and try different things- like joining a creepy cult together. The song was inspired by 90's house music. I wanted this to be something people could dance to and let go. Tell us a bit about the music video production and creation process for the 'Wild Side' music video This music video was the continuation to the previous single I released, 'Pray 2 Pop' - the story of sacrificing yourself to be a pop star. Wild Side is all about the party that I was heading to on the motorcycle shown at the end of Pray 2 Pop. It's the wild side where everyone there is in on the cult and have sacrificed to be pop stars- so I had my friends and some of my favorite musicians featured in the video. It's a collective "we" once you enter the party, which is why everyone knew the words to the song. It was released on December 2nd, the same day as Michael Jackson's Thriller music video as an added element of creepiness. This video was directed by Noël Dombroski, my best friend. We met at USC through their film program. She's super talented, fun to work with and completely brought the whole story to life! If you could collaborate with any artist on your next project, who would you choose to work with? Why? I would love to collaborate with Allie X. She's been an artist I've been listening to and adore for the longest time. CollXtion I was the first album I bought and listened to when I moved to LA. I love her songwriting and producing style and fashion in general. She's so badass! What's next for Kit Major? I'm working towards my first EP! I have a couple of singles and videos in the works, including one that is very vulnerable and special to me- she could be Strawberry Milkshake's sister. I'm excited for what's next. instagram.com/kitmajormusic facebook.com/kitmajormusic #BuzzMusic

Yung Sinister was born and raised in the Netherlands, yet has always remained intrigued with American/English music. And so, we have a European artist that is dedicated to producing an American/English type sound. Yung Sinister has this way in his execution that draws in attention. The vibe of his tracks is expressive, fast, and extremely thought-provoking. One of his most recent releases "Suicide", encapsulates all of these characteristics that are collectively exclusive to the sounding of Yung Sinister. "Suicide" got us hooked easily after the first ten seconds of the track. Yung Sinister started our listening experience off with a mysterious environment, which gradually morphed into a more dark and sinister (ironic) execution. Yung Sinister genuinely kept our attention while we listened to the entirety of the track. "Suicide" encompasses the hardships, yet realities of life. I found that he communicates his pain in the most expressive way. I felt as if Yung Sinister was unveiling himself and his darkest demons within "Suicide". It's what makes the song so incredibly captivating. It's easily observable that Yung Sinister provides a rap perspective on otherworldly music. We're looking for more of these sensational effects during the 2020 year from Jonathan Cilia Faro! Listen to "Grown-Up Christmas List" here. Hello, Jonathan Cilia Faro! Thanks for taking the time to come on BuzzMusic and talk about your music. Now that you're celebrating 20 years of music, what are some of the artistic accomplishments that have really stuck with you since you've begun your artistic journey? It’s my pleasure. I would say my biggest artistic accomplishments have come when I perform in front of audiences who are not used to the magic of Opera, and when I see and hear their reactions to my music and afterward speaking with them and finding out about their surprise and appreciation of the classics and the way I bring them to the modern world. The word accomplishment for an artist is always subjective, mine is earning the respect and friendship of my peers. Recently I have the honor of not only working with but also developing close relationships with Alan Parsons and Jed Leiber both of whom I greatly admire. "Grown-Up Christmas List" was one song that this past holiday season saw from you. When recording this song, how did you ensure the necessary passion and fervor was manifested? Do you ever find it difficult to manifest a certain emotion needed to record a particular song? When I chose “Grown-Up Christmas List” I did so because I strongly believe in the message it brings, I wanted a holiday song that spoke about our world and our place in it. I related to those lyrics and therefore the emotions were all there from the beginning. I am a very sensitive person and most of the time my voice portrays and is affected by my mood. When recording music, I try to put myself into the story that the song tells and that often times helps to generate the emotions that carry me through the piece. The past 20 years have seen many albums and single releases from you! Regarding each of your albums, which album within the past two decades did you resonate most with? Which album did your listening base resonate most with, in terms of analytics? This is a tough one because each song and each album is a labor of love. I think that my very first album even though it was my least successful one in terms of sales called “Sempre Vicino A Me” which translates as “Always Close to Me” which I released in 1996. This album is still a source of great memories. Even when recently I recorded at Capital Studios in LA and used Frank Sinatra’s microphone, I brought with me the memory of that tiny studio back in Sicily where it all first began. My most recent album “From Now On” which I released in 2019 has been very well received by my listeners. I believe this album shows my fans more of myself as each song tells a separate story that brings me closer to my audience. This is also my most modern album in terms of style and song choice. Were there any goals that you have yet to accomplish as an artist? Do you think that you've hit all of the ambitions you've set for yourself artistically since starting out or are there more left to reach? One of the things on my creative bucket list is a duet with Lady Gaga or Katy Perry. I believe they are the two artists that are not only amazing talents but would also compliment me height wise :) There are definitely more things that I would like to accomplish. One of them is to bring the pop-symphonic style into the mainstream. I believe we need to take the stigma away from the word “Opera”. Opera is simply a story told through the music. I would like to have the opportunity to express myself by blending my style with the style of other musicians of different genres thus expanding the reach of Opera. Today it is very hard to find artists who are brave enough to take the risk of creating and performing new types of music, I am one of those artists. In my opinion “the best is yet to come”. Thank you, Jonathan Cilia Faro! We appreciate the time. Where can listeners expect your sound to flow from here? The only thing I can reveal at this time is that I am currently recording at The Nightbird Studios in LA and this new project with Jed Leiber will surprise the music world and my fans. instagram.com/jonathan_ciliafaro twitter.com/jonathanciliafa facebook.com/JonathantheTenorOfficial #BuzzMusic

- The American Hotel System Offers Eclectic Soundings with Album "The Sunken Truth"
Rock band The American Hotel System hails from Grand Rapids, MI, and they collectively made a big wave in 2019 with their music. The band came out with their album "The Sunken Truth" in 2019, which was a huge staple of the band's growing potential. As a soft rock band wanting to relay heartfelt messages, you'll be surprised at the product of their sound. It's an integrative blend of intense and mellow instrumentals. The vocal styling that's blended into the mesh of instrumental soundings is a more eclectic approach for vocal executions. Such an approach we found to be effective with the characteristics of The American Hotel System. Their choice of what soundings to network with one another was extremely fitting for the category they reside in. At some moments throughout the band's album, we found ourselves listening to completely varying elements, which offers up that sense of curiosity as to what they'll integrate next! Off of "The Sunken Truth" is the track "Breakdown". The song offers more of that drawn-out and emotional connection between band and listener. You can tell that this track explores more thoughtful aspects of the rock and roll sound. Once we migrate to tracks like "Deaf Ears" we really experience the eclecticism of The American Hotel System. What you thought was an aggressive rock band, turns into more of a folksy band with lighthearted rock components. What an intriguing combination! Such a combination that you genuinely can't picture until you fully listen to the band. When we got closer to the end of the album with songs like "Home", we see that the soft-hearted and folksy vibe returns, this time, with a light integration of indie. We have to say, the 2019 sound of The American Hotel System piqued our interests beyond a doubt, which is what will keep our ears peeled to what the band will be coming out with next! Listen to The American Hotel System here. Welcome to BuzzMusic The American Hotel System! 2019 saw the release of your album "The Sunken Truth", which was a record that included an eclectic mix of heartfelt soundings. How did the band feel with the product of the album? Jacob: The album is the culmination of over two and a half years of hard work. If I wasn’t working my day job, planning my wedding, or on my honeymoon, I was working on the album in some way. The only other thing I’ve worked this hard on in my life was my Eagle Scout. I’m incredibly proud of ‘The Sunken Truth’ and it will always hold a special place in my heart. C.T.: Personally, I have never felt better about my guitar work. And the album as a whole came beautifully. It was a pleasure to have a hand in, or in my case, two hands. Jake: The band feels very proud of this album. We have put a lot of hard work and emotion into crafting a record we can look back at and know we put everything we had into it. Hailey: for me, the final product of the album feels like a conclusion to a long progression of writing and playing these songs at different times over the last two years. It is an amazing feeling to see all of these songs come together from over the years into one album. On top of that, it challenged us to kind of recreate some of our old songs and make them into something more on this album. Talking more on that eclectic mix, would the band say it's a characterization of The American Hotel System's sound to incorporate a vast amount of melodies? Jacob: Each of us have a diverse musical background. Hailey, Jake, Samuel, and I were all music majors and C.T. has played in groups of varying genres. When you have five people with such a wide range of musical history, some genre-hopping is inevitable. One of my favorite aspects of writing and arranging with the band is pulling from all of our influences and combining them to make something new. How's the music scene in Grand Rapids? Is there a ton of inspiration to be drawn from the city the band currently resides in? Jacob: Grand Rapids has become a hub for Michigan based artists. The indie pop, hardcore, and folk scene are huge here, but it’s challenging for artists who don’t fit into those genres. The diversity of culture within the city offers the opportunity to be inspired by the various people groups and experiences they have to share. C.T. : It’s a good scene for indie pop and metal. We are a bit of an anomaly in GR. People don’t really know where we fit. Jake: The music scene in Grand Rapids offers a TON of diversity in styles and cultures, from rock, to folk, country and metal. It feels very supportive and I am glad we are apart of it! Hailey: I feel like Grand Rapids has the ability to make you feel like you’re part of part something big and amazing, especially in the music scene, but also has to ability to make you feel incredibly lonely. I think both of those aspects definitely affect how we write as a group. Especially when it comes to the ideas of inclusion and belonging that we put into our songs. Now that 2020 is fast approaching, how does the band feel with the collective sound that is exclusive to The American Hotel System? Jacob: I feel like we’ve been able to develop a sound that’s unique, especially with ‘The Sunken Truth’, but I’m eager to share the new musical landscapes that we’re exploring in 2020! C.T.: We have a sound but it’s not even at half of its fruition yet. Keep listening. Jake: I feel like our band has a different sound that you won't get out of your typical "rock bands" around the scene right now, and I think that is because of the songwriting and different backgrounds that we all come from. Hailey: I am excited for what our sound has to offer in 2020. We don’t have an incredibly common sound but that’s what I love about us. I think our sound draws in the unique and different types of people. We’ve been able to meet some incredible people and hear amazing stories because of what our sound brings to the table and I’m so excited to see how that continues to unfold in 2020. "21st" was another track off of "The Sunken Truth" that blended together a more intensified sound with mellow aspects near some parts of the track. Is it a preference of the band to integrate contrasting sounds with one another? Jacob: Another one of my favorite aspects of working on a song is arranging. We always try to arrange our songs for the highest emotional impact. I’ve tried to bury my emotions that run so deeply within my heart, and these songs have been a therapeutic way to distill and express those emotions. I’m a massive fan of progressive and concept driven music, and the wide dynamic range those tracks have hit me hard. C.T.: My favorite part about writing with Jacob is that everything is seen as a soundtrack, a production. When he and I are together working on a piece he brings these moods across that are so heartfelt and raw. Then I amp up the aggression and it really blends into this emotional tug-o-war that guides the listener through a kaleidoscope of the feels. Jake: We like to experiment with our different sounds and styles that we incorporate into our music. I think having a dynamic flow and contrasting moments gives us that uniqueness that we have, but also that helps our listeners stay engaged with the song and gives emotion to it. Hailey: I think that integrating contrasting sounds from one another is one of the more fun aspects of not only being a musician but also being a person of emotions. I think when you have those different contrasts in a song like 21st, it really brings out the emotion of that song and makes it all the more powerful. Thank you The American Hotel System! We hope that 2020 brings the same success as 2019 for the band! Any parting words for our readers? Jacob: This last year has been an incredible time of growth for us and I’m forever grateful for the fans and listeners we’ve been blessed with. Our full length album came out two weeks ago, but we’re already working on our next studio project that we’ll be talking more about VERY soon. Instagram and Facebook are the best social media outlets to check out If you want to stay up to date with the projects we’re working on. Thanks for listening, ya’ll! Jake: Thanks to everyone that has listened, showed up to shows and follows our band. Stay with us! We are excited to play more, and in new places, in 2020! Hailey: Thanks for being a part of this journey. Music is pointless if there are no ears to hear it and I’m thankful that you’ve chosen to listen! instagram.com/theamericanhotelsystem twitter.com/hotel_american facebook.com/TheAmericanHotelSystem #BuzzMusic
- Canadian Band The Coywolves Excites Listeners with “As You Were Meant To”
Canadian band, The Coywolves are the band that will leave you mesmerized by their latest song release! The Coywolves released their latest single titled “As You Were Meant To”. “ As You Were Meant To” begins with a lengthy introduction that showcases a beautiful acoustic guitar chord. The melody was soft and subtle, preparing you for the potential atmosphere of the record. “As You Were Meant To” introduces us to our first transition in the song when the instrumentation changes the tempo. The riveting strums of the guitar become more rhythmic right before the vocals smooth itself into the song. The Coywolves’ vocal delivery was as soft-like in texture as the instrumentation was. “As You Were Meant To” sets a calming mood yet helps you reflect on your emotions. It’s a song that evokes the theme of love and compassion and also fighting for what and who you want. This theme is super relatable for the typical person. Although the song may evoke this theme, the vibe was still delightful and enigmatic. The Coywolves sound is based around energetic, soulful rock and roll, with songs that will make you want to jump up and down, and songs that are ideal for late nights around the fire. “As You Were Meant To” was the perfect record that can be enjoyed by the company of others.
