  • GR3YWXLF Is Yet Again Giving Us A Fire With Recent Release "Orphan"

GR3YWXLF is a waxing woke lyricist with a wise supervillain approach. Hailing from the UK, his sound isn’t anything that you would expect from the traditional UK sounds. Using his lyrics as an outlet by intertwining pop culture and real life survival in a creative and nontraditional way. Heavily influenced by old and new school hip hop and taking his on spin and twists with experimental and alternative R&B added within his music Man another wonderful track from the artist GR3YWXLF! I love the blend of sounds throughout "Orphan"; it is like a blend of Lo-fi and hip hop. Tons of similar sounds to Anderson, even picking up heavy Kendrick Lamar vibes. However, GR3YWXLF definitely has a good flow all on his own. I appreciate the passion that I get from this artist. I can tell he cares about the work he puts out there for his listeners and fans. There is a gift with this artist that is fluid and feels effortless which makes it a true gift and talent. The versatility in this track alone says so much! "Orphan" gives all the best feels, all the best vibes and something you can really chill kick back and relax or even get some work done to. Give a listen to "Orphan" here, and continue reading for GR3YWXLF's exclusive interview. Hello and welcome back to BuzzMusic! Can you tell our readers about your new song "Orphan"? Thank you for having me back! I’d also like to thank your readers in advance for lending me their ears again too. Appreciated. So Orphan, its somewhat of an introductory super villain anthem. Semi posturing, semi introspective, all flows. Ultimately something to pump up the energy levels a bit. Who influenced your love or passion for music? I’d probably say my pops. He’s been a gospel singer for the longest so watching him practice / perform and dedicate time to his craft really got me onto the music wave from early. That and growing up firstly in Jamaica had me surrounded by a lot of music before I moved to London. You can’t help but enjoy reggae sound clashes on your doorstep. Do you feel that "Orphan" is different than anything you've released in the past? Yeah I think so. I mean thats the hope. I’ve set my self the task of creating and mastering as many flows as possible so I’m always trying to come with something a little different with each vibe. Ultimately that’s for the people to judge really! What helped you create the song “Orphan”? I was just in the right frame of mind with it you know. That and I had my whisky to hand which is always good when trying to get to business. Also want to shout out and thank the producer for this dope beat - Lucid Soundz. I had a fair bit of room to be creative so that ultimately helped a lot too. This year is gearing up to be a busy year for you, what can our readers anticipate next! Haha for real! Super busy year ahead which is precisely what I want. Your readers can expect to hear from me next month with another shiny vibe for them to enjoy, but if they want to hit me up on Instagram in between now and then, I will be biding my time curating memes. • Taymarion Released His Single Titled “Pillow”

Born and raised in Mount Olive, NC in 1992, Taymarion began singing at the age of 7 years old in a church. When he turned 13, Taymarion met his longtime friend Tamesha Williams and together they formed a duo called “Unity”. They would both write songs and after a while, Taymarion began to become a self-taught producer. At the age of 18 years old, Taymarion took a mini break from music to try his hand at multiple different career paths and trades including cosmetology and the army. After his military service in 2014, he met his manager who was also a family friend. His manager whose name is Elawate, encouraged Taymarion to continue singing, writing, and performing. Once 2015 hit, in the midst of Taymarion working on what would eventually become his first EP, things took a drastic turn once he became diagnosed with vocal cord paresis, causing him to attain difficulty in breathing while singing. Ready to give up, Elawate remained positive and continued to encourage Tay throughout the process of vocal training and doctors visits to salvage his voice. Through years of intense training and finding his confidence back to return to the music scene, Taymarion is ready to make a household name for himself. Taymarion released his single titled “Pillow” and we were in LOVE with the entire single. Taymarion’s vocals were highly impressive and shows no signs of past error. One of my favorite moments in “Pillow” was when Taymarion took his voice into a high pitched falsetto, hitting an urban definition of a “Pillow note”. Everything about “Pillow” was transporting , as it took me into a more classic dimension of Rnb music where the vibes were ageless and unforgettably timeless. Even while watching the music video, I was still able to acquire that “feel-good” vibe that was so popular in the beginning days of rnb music. Taymarion is a classic. An iconic vocalist who doesn’t need the computerized studio effects to still deliver tonal quality music. “Pillow” effortlessly blends together ancient and futuristic rnb elements with a loaded amount of soul and passion in the projection. The sensual vibe of the music curates the perfect mood for you and a loved one. However, “Pillow” is a tasteful lovebop that weaves between different generations of rnb. Pillow has an infectious melody and a caressive sensuality to the tone. Listen to Pillow here and get to know more about Taymarion below! Hello Taymarion! How has your background in gospel music benefited your skills in singing today? I feel like the emotion I put into what I sing comes from that background. In my opinion this new generation focuses more how how trendy the beat sounds and I tend to focus more on the message behind the lyrics. You have a highly timeless sound and style to your artistry! Do you have any classic music influences? Prince, Whitney Houston, Marvin Gaye, and Mahalia Jackson are definitely some of my major influences. We love your new song Pillow! Can you tell us about the meaning behind it? Pillow is about missing someone who holds a special place in your heart. Literally holding a pillow because you can hold them because of whatever reason weather that’s a breakup, death, prison, or as the video depicts deployment. What inspired you to write “Pillow”? Someone very close to me passed away last year. “Lay your head on my pillow” by Tony! Toni! Toné! Was our favorite song. So when I came across the beat produced by Young Tarzan and noticed the sample from that song it in, my emotions took over and I just wrote how I felt. What can we expect next for you? I’ve been writing a lot lately and producing. So you can definitely expect to hear my name around as a songwriter and producer. I also have a couple of collaborations on other indie artists songs dropping this summer. • Check Out This Sexy New Single “Ven Hacia Mi” By Cristian Ivan Herrera

Cristian Ivan Herrera is a talented vocalist and writer. From Daca Dreamer to life achiever, his latin flare and ear for what the fans want to hear make him the next artist to be on the lookout for! Not only is Cristian talented but he’s well educated. Before truly pursuing his passions (music, performing, cinematography) he worked hard to attain an AA in Social and Behavioral Sciences and BA in Film & Television Media Studies from Cal State LA. His life motto is perseverance and his hard work has clearly paid off. Cristian dropped his debut single “Ven Hacia Mi” and we’re hooked! The addictive back beat and energy has me dancing in my seat. “Ven Hacia Mi” translates to “Come To Me”, which gives this hot track the seductive vibe we’re craving. It’s the perfect fusion of English/ Spanish lyrics. Cristian vocals are precise and clear while still managing to stay fresh and flow perfectly. I love about half-way through the track when the beat softens along with Cristian’s voice and it reaches a trance like sound before dropping the intoxicating beat once again. “It’s a feeling of ecstasy, be my world astronomy” is one of the finely-calibrated lines in “Van Hacia Mi” that promotes getting lost in this journey of music and great feelings together. “Cristian’s talent is so evident and as if the song wasn’t proof enough, he let us know he wrote this song in one Wednesday night! He was overwhelmed with school, recorded vocals by myself and got in touch with a producer who gave him the killer beat. “Ven Hacia Mi” will easily be the hottest track of the summer for a long time. Listen to “Ven Hacia Mi”here and get to know more about Cristian Ivan Herrera below! Hi Cristian! We love the track Can you start by tell our readers more about yourself? Cristian Ivan Herrera is my name, a passionate and creative soul. After obtaining an education and working non stop, I decided to follow my passions. I have so much to say yet have no voice, music gives me that voice. A natural antidepressant fueled by creativity. I use my skills to freelance and drive Lyft on spare time to fund my craft. Hard work & sacrifice will pay off one day. I am completely independent. This is the start of something great, I am a fetus when it comes to my artistry, learning and growing everyday. I believe those who search find and those who want obtain. I am searching for my own unique sound in order to obtain a career. There’s no growth without critique, I’m ready to grow. So what’s your input? How did you manage to write such a hot track in one night!? Manifestation through Meditation. I remember I had just finished writing “Day of the Dead” another beautiful melody I’m yet to get produced (stay tuned) & I just starting saying “Ven Hacia mi” in melody I was referring to “come to me” ideas, balance, peace, abundance, love.  The things I essentially want. From there my mind simplified it by focusing on a soulmate. Ironic because I’m yet to feel that way about anyone, everything at it’s given time. It’s time to create and be heard. I’ll be loved later. The hunger of wanting to prove myself that I’m capable of being who I dream to be pushed me to write Ven Hacia Mi  in a matter of hours. It’s a hunger I’ll always keep no matter what I accomplish. It’s like gasoline on a car. Fuel for my craft. Can you tell us more of the lyrics/ meaning behind the song? The song title, Ven Hacia Mi means come close to me. The song speaks of how I essentially wish to feel towards my yet to be found soulmate as if that person was in-front of me already . Singing it into existence. I speak of Telepathy, undeniable attraction of souls. The speaking intro to the song, speaks of being only for that person and how looking into their eyes ends my sorrows. On the first English verse Galileo Galilei was the inspiration. Hence my mentioning of astrology, astronomy, & being convicted of heresy. I go against a lot of norms by nature & this love/ attraction fantasy I’m singing about is so passionate that I too should be convicted of heresy. It then says “what we have here is telepathy which destroys all of our agonies just by thinking of each other” It also speaks of how “our souls together burn like flames” we have the hots for each other, a slight case of Hormone-itis due to attraction. It  made more sense in spanish and sounded sexy.  The second English verse is the lust that comes with this soulmate, a massive desire that has me so hot I need water, & I switch languages back and forth because many of us Latinos naturally and subconsciously do that when speaking regularly. I’m basically saying “let’s do this you and me, let’s dance, with rhythm, no room for stress when we are together” in Spanglish. Imagine feeling that way? Can’t relate; Will relate Some people say love is painful hence my passionate run towards the end of the song. I was like “this sound gives me Dubai vibes and I see my extra self in a desert with sand blowing, camera on an Aerial spinning shot, I’m yelling my heart out for the video.” That vision inspired the vocal run on minute 2.34 I’ll soon be looking for sugar mamas or daddy’s funding fathers or mothers. J.k but I do need financial support to bring those visions to life, you pay for what you get and I want quality. Donations are accepted, I accept it all but EBT! Just kidding, not really. Who is your biggest artistic inspiration? I don’t want to be anybody out there, I want to be the first Cristian Ivan Herrera. Artists expand beyond music. Michael Angelo’s attention to detail on his sculptures even though it’s unrelated to music, inspires me on anything I do, he crafted perfection. Michael Jackson’s performance ability, cinematography on videos and vocal passion on his records. Madonnas ability to tackle any genre, changing her image completely and the longitude of her career (she’s even doing Spanglish now, you go girl) no care in the world. Stephanie Germanota known as Lady Gaga she’s a vocal powerhouse and passionate performer, her flamboyant style keeps you guessing what’s to come, her performances always leave me inspired. I too want to give you a sense of less history more mystery like the icons mentioned. I will aspire to keep you wanting more with attention to detail on wardrobe, sets & one day amazing performances. Impecable cinematography and concepts for my videos. Choreography and ever evolving sound to keep me alive in the competitive world of music. I want to do some songs in Portuguese maybe mixed with some English and Spanish, full English songs like “Day of the Dead” a haunting gem I’m saving to produce, I also want a pop song, a ballad, I want to have a little for everybody yet remaining true to myself, you’ll know it’s me when you hear me, stay tuned. To summarize, a variety of artists artistry is my inspiration. When can the fans expect more releases? I just finished recording my second song, & will be released soon. Aiming for mid May- early June. I need to save and do a photo shoot to match the awesomeness of the track or else it would be out tomorrow.  It’s such a vibe, it’s sexy, catchy, less cheesy more nasty and also in Spanglish. I play with different tempos and styles, can’t wait to share it. It’s the sound of tomorrow. Join me in my journey and follow me on any streaming service under “Cristian Ivan Herrera” let’s make history Connect with Cristian Ivan Herrera on social media Instagram: www.instagram.com/cristianivanherrera

  • Mely Marie’s “Mixed Feelings” Has A Unique Collection Of Styles and Sounds That Are Sure To Get You

Born in Secaucus, New Jersey and known for her stage name “Mely Marie” is singer and song writer Melissa Marie Salvador. At the age of two she became state winner for “Sun Kiss Beauty Pageant” which was a reputable contest at the time. Her parents later decided to raise her in Puerto Rico and here her love for the performing arts grew immensely. She has won awards for her outstanding talent as a singer, model and actress and has been involved with many contests and musical performances. Melissa started composing her own songs and participating in local talent shows after falling in love with the idea of becoming a professional singer/songwriter as a teen. A few years later she moved the United States to focus on her singing career and alas – “Mely Marie” was born. In December 2017 she released her first single “All Night” and in 2019 she released “Contagious” as part of her EP “Mixed Feelings” that was released today. Her patience and desire of becoming a recognized pop artist has had Melissa performing in California, Miami and New York as she continues to work extremely hard to make her dreams come true. What a strong start to this EP! “Back To Life” is a laid-back track that eases you into this fiery collection of music. Mely Marie has a unique tone of voice that is soothing to listen to and a beat that reminds me of “Without Me” by Halsey – catchy, filled with different sounds and easily stuck in your head. The beats in this track have an eerie, ominous vibe and this is a song I personally think you could find as a theme for a fifty shades type movie. With deep and meaningful lyrics, this song is a real hit that I cannot get enough of. Hitting us with another knock out song with “Dancing With The Devil”. This down to earth track is filled with solid beats that lure you into the luscious lyrics. The alluring sound of Mely Marie’s voice has a different tone that is a lot more easy-going and lighter compared to the previous track, yet still very serene. Featuring Josh Cruz, whose vocals complement Mely Marie’s exquisitely. The lyrics are full of lust and passion which makes for great chemistry when singing the duet. I love the way the song ends with soft harmonious humming to leave you really feeling tranquil. Don’t be quick to think this is another soft, relaxing song because it gains traction quickly and gets you moving to the upbeat sound this song brings to this fantastic EP. “All Night” Brings a hint of vibrancy to an album that has such a wide variety of styles and resonances. Mely Marie has really shown that her talents are not limited to one genre of music and that she is able to add a mix of flare to each song to make them truly unique. This particular track a different sort of finesse that helps all the songs flow together perfectly and leads us into the next song with ease. “Karma” is an upbeat track that has a fierceness in both lyrics and music. I am absolutely in love with the steel drum sound that can be found throughout this track – personally I think it adds real character to this lively tune. Mely Marie’s voice continues to impress during this classic hip hop song and featuring Famous Kid Bric with a rap section that really knocks this track out of the park. MelyMarie definitely knows how to write exceptional lyrics that are extremely catchy like “I knew, I knew that Karma always, always comes true”. This was another song that showcased her talents in multiple genres and I am incredibly impressed. “Good Times” has more of a techno feel to it, and is the perfect song to follow up “Karma” with. This track brings you back down a little with funky sounds, and another haunting and eerie song that is sure to lure you in. With so many different layers scattered throughout this addicting beat, I find myself mellowed out and focusing on all the different aspects of the music and lyrics. Another one with catchy lyrics such as “Good times can kill this love” and tones that encourage relaxation and peace, this song is a definite must have on your summer playlist! Mely Marie definitely knew that “Contagious” was the perfect name for this bumping track. I legitimately got up and started to dance while listening to this song, as it really draws you in. The different echoes of instruments throughout this song makes you really have to take a good listen or two, to fully absorb the sheer elegance of this vivacious song. Mely Marie’s vocal style in this song reminds me of Dua Lipa and also hints of Ariana Grande that blends fantastically with the music track. “Contagious” is definitely going to be a hit song of summer 2019 and one that I can picture myself listening to it cranked up while driving to the beach with some friends! Overall this EP was a pleasurable mix of styles and sounds that were presented in a fascinating and brilliant way! Listen to "Mixed Feelings" here and get to know more about Mely Marie below! Hey Mely Marie! Love the New EP! Can you tell us a bit about yourself and how you decided to start writing music? Hey guys, thank you for loving my EP “Mixed Feelings”! Well, I’m a very happy, positive person. I grew up in Puerto Rico were music in the family has always been there to connect us and to create new memories at parties or get togethers. Now in my household we listened to everything from Destiny’s Child, Jlo, 80’s freestyle to Salsa there was no type of music preference. That’s why I started writing music around 12 years old because I enjoyed so much the different genres that it was easy for me to express my self through music. What inspired you to write the EP “Mixed Feelings”? “Mixed Feelings”  is me! All of those songs are either thoughts that went throw my mind, things that I want to do and even many moods that I was having all that helped me create the EP. It took me two years to finish this project, believe me there’s a lot of feelings involved. There are several tones and styles found throughout this EP, what kind of things inspire the creation of your unique and moving sound? Well, what I basically want is the sound to match my writing. I always create the beat in my head and I have a vision of how I want the song to sound and what I want to talk about. If my atmosphere, the production, my environment feels right all that inspires me to create. What were some challenges, if any, that you faced when writing the songs for “Mixed Feelings” and how did you overcome these challenges? I think having to remember some of the songs, and maybe saying- Oh, that’s why I wrote this or wow I feel this way. Like some of the songs aren’t from now, some of them are from past breakups or even times that I felt that I needed to be somebody else to be liked for example. But I think it was all worth it because I grew up emotional and I broke out of my shy shell, and out of my lack of courage. The EP made me break that wall of insecurities and then finally I had a release date. If you could pick one song off your new album that is your favorite, which one would it be and why? “All night” has to be my favorite, because it was the first song I release to the world and I felt unstoppable. I felt that I accomplished something that I thought I was never going to do. Also, this song makes me want to get up, get dressed and head out! Are there any artists you would like to collaborate with on future albums? Yes!! Definitely I love collaborating with different artists. What new and exciting endeavours can we expect from Mely Marie in 2019? I already started writing and producing Spanish music so hopefully by the summer I’ll be doing my transition into Spanish music. Obviously is an industry that’s growing and I can take advantage of my roots. It doesn’t mean that I won’t be working on English as well, I just want the world to know I’m versatile, there’s more to me! Also we’re working on creating some really cool merchandise and there’s some really great features coming with some awesome artists. 2019 it’s full of surprises, I’m super excited for everything that’s happening! I know you guys are going to love and be super supportive on my new projects. • KVNE And Jerelle Collab On New Killer Track "Blue Flame"

Jerelle has been grinding ever since 2008. Since he was a child, he began writing poetry, singing, and thinking about music on a daily basis. Once he grew old enough to perform at local bars and venues, Jerelle reached the realization that music is what he wanted to do. Kevin Edworthy whose musically known as KVNE resides all the way in Hamilton, Ontario. Aside from being an upcoming urban artist, he’s an executive producer and founding partner of the independent label, TheKillaKollective. Kevin got his first run at the music industry at the early age of 13 where he started his first band and toured around with renowned Canadian acts. As the years passed, KVNE realized that he had the potential to uniquely sculpt his craft through his adaptability to music. Having to experience numerous sides to the musicality of the industry which included engineering, songwriting, and more, Kevin began manufacturing his artistry. Both artists are highly passionate about their career choice and they came together to deliver a memorable hit, released today, titled "Blue Flame" The song has a highly trendy and wavy beat that’s perfect for getting the party started. One artist sings and moves the vocals forward with an infectious melody and absorbing sound. He emphasizes the hook for the listener by conveying the perfect emotion that’s fitting for the aesthetic of the record. The rapper gives you a clean-slated flow with no signs of error in his projection. He knows how to curate the right amount of energy for the song to carry and push it forward. With the vocalist’s smooth-sailing resonance serenading its listener, the rapper tops it off with some urban swag and flare to the record. “Blue Flame” is a song that I’ll personally categorize as R&B and hip-hop. It has the industrial root of R&B which requires soul and passion with the appealing aura of the hip-hop culture. If you need a summer tune to get you through your day to day activities, “Blue Flame” is the perfect contagious jingle you must have on your playlist! Listen to "Blue Flame" here and get to know more about Jerelle and KVNE below! Hey Jerelle & KVNE, it's great to chat with the both of you! Can you tell our readers a bit about your backgrounds? I was born in Kitchener-Waterloo, a city just west of Toronto. My Mom was very influential in my life musically. Once I hit high school, music became my main focus.Since 2016 I moved to Mississauga for music and starting working with the talented Sofia and together we are Beware. Congratulations on the fresh release of "Blue Flame". What was your individual roles in creating the new single? We have been waiting for too long to get this one out to everyone. I had the song pretty much finished when we brought it to KVNE. But I knew I needed him on it from the start. "Blue Flame" has a unique and intricate beat. Can you tell us about the recording process of the song? What does this song mean to the both of you? My in-house producer @IXIIIbeats (Courtney Rose) and I got into a session one night. We always make a few beats and I’ll take them and sit on the writing for a minute and come back to them when I feel something. Right when I came up with the hook I had a certain voice in mind.. When we connected with KVNE we knew it fit perfectly. I wrote the verses about a girl in my life and how our relationship initially sparked. Once I had the idea that she was a “Blue Flame” it was a wrap. When we got into the studio.. the song just came together so well, we had the hook laid out in a matter of minutes. The verses took some re-building with KVNE and $olomon writing a tight bridge mixed with the new vibe.. just like that. We had a smash. I like the way the song has a vibe that fits a summer mood. The bass will have everyone who hears it moving and singing along. We've been following your socials and saw that you just collaborated on a tour in Canada. Seems like the both of you are a powerhouse team! What was it like touring together? What was a highlight moment for the both of you? Collaborating with KVNE has been so much more than that.. He’s been such a inspiring force for us in this industry.. He’s a mentor and a good friend through this. The tour was a fun for us.. We enjoy being on stage and hearing our lyrics sang back to us.. It’s our drive and passion through thick and thin. My favourite part of the tour personally was getting to share the stage with KVNE and play this song live before anyone heard it, we got to see real reactions and we have been very excited to get this one to our fans and supporters. What's next for the both of you? Can we expect any more hits from Jerelle & KVNE together? You can expect a lot more from us. Expect some sooner than you think. The summer is just beginning. ForeverAlways is an incredible audio engineer from London Ontario, Canada. He attends Fanshawe College for the Musical Industrial Arts program. He specializes in creating unique arrangements and bringing back vibes that no other mainstream genre can deliver. ForeverAlways dope new track “Back To LA” is an awakening blend of genres to create a chill hip-hop track. It’s grandiose, intricate, and spectacularly ferocious. I can’t get enough of the mellow vibe and addicting beat. I love the echoing synths that lead up to the light drums throughout. It’s evident that this was created by an experienced mixing engineer with an ear for modern beats. The sound design and attention to detail are admirable. ForeverAlways launches in the music scene with transcendent beats and clear and deliberate power and emotion behind it. The expansive lyrics on the track are proof that ForeverAlways has the highest quality rappers working alongside him. “Back To LA” is a unique mix of open heartedness and indulgence in the good life, without losing the youthful energy. ForeverAlways strives to create music that shows vivid and clear emotion and I think that’s evident in “Back To LA”. I can’t wait to see what’s next for ForeverAlways. Stay on the lookout! Check out "Back To LA" here, and keep scrolling for ForeverAlways exclusive interview! Can you start by introducing yourself to our readers? Hello I'm TJ also know as fa_sound ForeverAlways. I started making music in 2016 flew out from Alberta to Ontario for ever ways in music for myself . I write songs, produce, engineer and master my stuff on my own. I currently live in London Ontario. Attending school for musical arts ”MIA”. It's pretty damn interesting! What got you into making music? My brother got me into making music. and I've always want to entertain people doing something. And music accidentally came as that source. However I believe everything isn't accidentally cuz I love this music life I'm living. Who are your top three biggest inspirations when it comes to your sound? I would say Snow Patroll , wyclif, PND, Drake, frank ocean etc. Can you name some challenges you’ve had to overcome in your career thus far? Leaving home to chase your dreams is a big challenge cause its you stepping out of your comfort zone. Living alone is also a challenge cause you have a priority to pay bill and etc and the Important is making time to grind on music. I overcome this challenges by believing in myself, That's the important step and making music by watching tutorial and putting aside the Partying. Placing the right people around you is vital cuz two heads are better than one. I also learn not to rely on people tooo much and just do it myself! What’s the music scene like for an audio engineer trying to find talented rappers in Ontario, Canada? Its kinda fun and stressful cuz not every knows how to record themselves or knows how to use the mic to record and get comfortable with the mic. I believe as an artist its important. As for finding talent I'm ”verrrry picky” cuz I'm always looking for a distinct character from an artist! 'Cuz I know myself and I get bored very easily with decent music. Be sure to check out ForeverAlways on Facebook and Instagram for the latest updates on releases! #BuzzMusic

  • Michael White Is Done With The Mind Games In New Single “Stop Playin’”

Talented up and coming artist Michael White is from Portland, Oregan. He promotes a positive vibe and stuns with his mesmerizing vocals. His range and style set him apart from today’s mainstream pop/ hip-hop artists. Michael pours his heart and soul into every single release and lyric. His first single “Head In The Clouds” prompted the creation of his first solo project with producer Surebeat called “Feelings”, set to be released May 2019! Michael White’s hottest new single “Stop Playin’” perfectly highlights his incredible vocals. His emotion in every verse and chorus is evident throughout the track. “Stop Playin’” takes us on a journey through Michael’s inner thoughts and experiences with love. He expertly puts his feelings on display in an artistic and vulnerable fashion that are easy for fans to relate to. My favorite lyric is “I’m too grown for all of these charades, do yourself a favor boy and act your age” because it’s straight and do the point. He is done with the games! Michael White has said his songs are a mix of real and fiction and I can’t wait to hear the story behind this track. The song features a catchy pop melody with undertones of R&B and hip-hop arrangements that are easy to vibe to and bump anywhere. “Stop Playin’” includes a hot rap verse from Toño which is a refreshing twist to the track. I think this single is a great example of what’s to come from Michael White in 2019! Stay on the lookout for his new album dropping in May. Listen to “Stop Playin’” here and scroll down for our exclusive interview with Michael! Hey Michael! Can you start by telling our readers more about yourself and your upbringing? Hey hey! I’m Michael! I’m a singer/songwriter here in Portland. I’m quiet, but when you hand me a microphone, I ain’t so quiet anymore! I’m trying to get in on the Portland Pop Music scene but bring them big R&B Soulful Vocals as well. Your voice is incredible! How did you get started in music/singing? Thank you! I have hid my voice for years! Because I didn’t think I was good enough. I have a high speaking voice, which I was born with, but that gave me a beautiful talent as well. I remember as a kid, the first song I ever sang as a kid was Céline Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On” and I’ve been in choir throughout my whole schooling career. Never shared it with the world until fall of 2016. Did Karaoke for the first time and the positive feedback I received after one song made me change my whole perspective of the one thing I thought was super scary to me. Not anymore. There’s a beautiful thing about singing. The passion and the emotion….there’s nothing like it. What inspired you to write “Stop Playin’”? Stop Playin’ was a song I wrote after a break up. I was inspired by the gay community because love is such a rare thing to find and when you think you’ve found someone who might be the one…turns out everything isn’t what you expected it to be. I was tired of countless flings or what-could’ve-beens because all they do is lead me on, so I got bored and tired of trying to find someone and write a song about how tired I am of men playing games with your mind. I couldn’t finish the whole song by myself and I wanted to do a feature with a rapper who is part of the LGBTQ community and luckily enough Toño (he was featured on your page!) was able to do so. We live like 2 minutes away so in a way it was fate haha. What’s the theme of your new album “Feelings”? Feelings is my pride and joy. I wrote it during a 4 month span, I was super sad and heartbroken but this whole album made me happy and changed my whole perspective on life and that I can be happy again. The songs, personally for me tell a story. But for listeners I them to know, that it’s okay to fall in love, it’s okay to demand love that you know you deserve. Because you deserve happiness. Know your self-worth and don’t settle for anything less. Can we expect more collaborations on the new album? There aren’t any vocal collaborations on this album but I worked with local Portland Producer Surebert on a couple tracks for this album. I wanted my first project to be my own thing. My own voice, my stories, my emotions. No one else’s. I have no idea what the next project is for me, but I have so many ideas. Hopefully you’ll stay tuned for what’s next on this music journey for me! Stay up to date with Michael via the artists website and Instagram! #BuzzMusic

Self-taught keyboardist, songwriter and producer from Glasgow, Scotland is ANDREWBATES who is mixing ambient elements with pop music to create a combination of different sounds and textures. From originally being introduced to music through playing violin at a young age, in high school he began experimenting with several instruments leading him to create his own music. He has been making music in his bedroom with a laptop and keyboard over the past 3 years and is working towards the release of his debut EP towards the end of the year. "BREATHE IN" is redefining the pop genre in a serious way. Starting off on a more laid-back note, with vocals that entrance the listener into a tranquil state. I am seriously loving Andrew’s sultry tone of voice that ease you into this catchy track – and I am only a minute into the track. Pull your partner close for this sensual track that will really get you moving in sync with each other. The song picks up traction between verses with a funky and lively beat that blends extremely well with the melodies of each verse and the bridge. The lyrics are deep and structured well showing that Andrew is extremely talented with his words, and knows how to mix them together to make a lasting impression. With fresh beats and lyrics that flow together so smoothly this song is one that you need to add to your daily listens. This up and coming artist is one to watch for and has released a song that is sure to be a hit of the year! Check out "BREATHE IN" here, as well as the artists exclusive interview with BuzzMusic below! Hey Andrew! What a fantastic track! Can you tell us a bit about yourselves? Thanks! I’m a bedroom producer from Glasgow and have been making music for nearly 4 years. Throughout high school I played several instruments but towards the end I shifted my focus towards electronic/pop music, writing my own songs and producing music for myself. I’m now a music performance college student just now, focusing on writing and playing keys! What inspires you to write music and create such a unique sound? I think I’ve always been obsessed with music, even when I was a kid I was writing songs without even really knowing it. I can’t remember a time when music wasn’t my main focus. In terms of sound, I’d say I take influence from lots of different genres which is why it sounds different. My personal music taste is varied so for one song you can hear electronic elements with pop melodies on top of a trap drum kit. I try to mix several genres into one. What makes you so passionate about music? I think because I’m such a huge fan of music, and always have been, I’ve always looked up to my favourite artists and wanted to do what they do. I also think starting from a young age allowed me learn how to produce when it didn’t really matter, I was just doing it out of interest. It wasn’t something I actively wanted to do as a job, but it slowly became more and more important to me as I developed my own sound. What inspired you to write “BREATHE IN” and what is the meaning behind it? 'BREATHE IN.’ was actually nearly a year in the making. There were several different versions of that song but as soon as I got guitar on the song, everything came together and I wrote and recorded it in the same day. I then spent the next few months tweaking it and making sure it was perfect. Lyrically, the song is about social anxiety and everything that comes with it. The whole song is essentially me talking to myself, back and forth, whilst experiencing bad anxiety. Sonically, I deliberately made the verses and chorus's contrast from one another to represent an anxiety attack and how quickly your mood can change. What’s new things can we expect in 2019 from you? I’m definitely going to be releasing new music. I have new music coming out in time for summer, and hopefully will be releasing more before Christmas this year! Hopefully more collaboration as well! • Get Lost In JayBird’s Words In Her Radiant Single “The End”

JayBird’s single “The End” is a beautiful and raw artistic perspective. The simplistic piano blends perfectly with the heavy backbeat, but it is not overpowering. “Time’s flying, you’re lying, I’m crying, we’re dying, aren’t we?” is the very first lyric in this beautiful masterpiece “The End” and it instantly gave me goosebumps. Her voice gives me a serious ASMR effect while still staying precise and alluring. “How’d we even get this way? When we started out with time flying, hearts racing, minds playing lovely games” is such a powerful and vulnerable lyric. It describes the confusing way that relationships seem to change infront of our eyes without us realizing it. Coming to the heartbreaking and earth shattering conclusion that your love is over is so overwhelming it has to be out into a song. I love the entire aesthetic and astounding arrangements that JayBird brings to today’s music scene. She is able to recognize that her fans could interpret her music in many ways. We are blessed with her ability to share her art with us. “The End” is a song to chill and vibe to or a song to cry your heart out to. Jemeia Hope is an incredibly talented singer/songwriter that is passionate about creating music and sharing her emotion and experiences through her unique sound. Jaybird has been releasing and performing music for 3 years, equipped with an angelic voice and layered songwriting skills, and so she is definitely a talent to stay on the lookout for! Check out “The End” here and read more with Jemeia Hope in our interview below. Hello Jemeia! Can you tell us what inspired this song “The End”? Hi! Absolutely. When I wrote the song; The End, I wanted to invent a situation based on characters I created and how I  imagined they would behave and think and feel in this situation of; a failing relationship. My friend Kenny gave me the beat and I wrote the story based on that. Your voice is timeless! What age did you begin singing? Thank you! I really appreciate that. I actually didn't really start singing until about jr year of high school when I was about 17. I sang a little bit when I was younger but nothing major. How did you perfect your style and sound? It started off as just me and my uke and that's been a major part of my style and sound just because it feels right and I feel comfortable with the energy that the Ukulele gives off. As far as the rest of my music goes, I honestly don’t feel like I’ve perfected my sound or style quite yet. Although, I’m not even sure I want to because I feel like if I leave my options open that gives me room to always be discovering new possibilities with my music. What drives your passion for music? It’s hard to pinpoint what drives me to create music and perform exactly. It’s like a little bubble of energy that sits in my chest and every time I play or perform or create it’s almost as if the bubble pops and spreads this immense feeling of positivity and good energy.  Music just always makes me feel better and I couldn't imagine a life without it. Can we expect a new EP anytime soon? I am in the process of moving to San Diego, so I won't be starting a big project like an EP until I get settled. In the meantime, I am hoping to release a few more singles as well as some cover videos. Follow JayBird via the artists Instagram to keep updated with recent releases! #BuzzMusic

  • Nandes Premieres His New Single, “Humble Stunt”

" I just want to inspire and restore hope in our communities much like the jobs artists such as Tupac, Nas, Lupe Fiasco, and the late great Nipsey Hussle has done for their communities, I just want to be in the the company of greats!” - Nandes A compton artist whose focused and determined to bring positive awareness and prestige back to the city he loves, Nandes goal is to create thought-provoking but fun hits. Having to be raised by a single mother in an urban environment, Nandes is well aware of the struggles that can be ever so presented in these specific communities. This led to Nandes writing his first ever rap at the young age of 11. Nandes didn’t begin seriously writing music until he reached high school once a friend of his encouraged him to do so. Fast forward to several years later, after dealing with various trials and tribulations within his collegiate education, Nandes released his free download debut EP entitled " The Talented Tenth Compton Era" on Soundcloud, Noisetrade.com and other various music platforms in the summer of 2015. This led to quite significant amount of accomplishments for Nandes in which includes opening up for Baby Bash, Dee-1, and Slum Village. Nandes premiered his single titled “Humble Stunt” and we loved how Nandes stayed true to his motto. Not shying away from who his personality is. Nandes contributed to the humbling characteristic of his artistry while balancing the modern day addictive beats. “Humble Stunt” had us head banging and enjoying the intense bass that strikes you with a force of intensity! “Give the game what they want, but I do it the pro way, "Ima be the one” that was my personal favorite line and the highlighting lyric in the hook for me. It basically reflects everything Nandes represents. He wants to bring a change to the music industry while also holding the respectable factor to his music. Nandes knows how to blend together fun and outgoing rap alongside metaphorically intelligent lyrics. His lyricism is real, raw, and uncut while fluently floating on top of a fire beat. Nandes is a product of his environment and he owns it in his music! He promotes a positive message through his lyrics without surfacing the morale of it. Instead, he gives his listener room to think about what he’s saying and that’s the entire fun of it all! Nandes is aiming to be one of the future greats, and with his bonafide persona, we’re almost positive he can reach the impact he desires. Listen to "Humble Stunt" here and get to know more about Nandes below! Growing up in the urban community of Compton, what are some challenges you’ve faced in your career so far and how did you overcome them Nandes? That is a great question. Well seeing as how I do Positive Rap and I branded myself as a Positive Rap Official (PRO), the biggest obstacle that I have faced is being stereotyped as a typical rapper from the hood. The fact of the matter is that there are so many great people doing great things in Compton, there are soooooo many amazing people that holding us to less than stereotypes because of where we are from is just downright wrong. I overcome those stereotypes by letting my music speak for me. In your viewpoint, what’s your take on the current sound of hip-hop and rap? I believe that the current sound is very diverse, there's a style of music for everyone, no matter what you are into, there's a whole world of music outside of what's pushed in the mainstream, you just have to dig for it. Tell us about “Humble Stunt” and the lyrical meaning behind it!? Humble Stunt is a message song. On the surface it's fun and playful, but if you dig deeper into it you'll find that it deals with relevant topics in today's society. Theres deeper meanings being spoken about, such as black lives matter, and how stunting can mean so many different things to so many different people but the most important stunt is living unapologetically in your truth, and that's something a lot of people never realize in their lives sadly..... How does the title reflect its message and theme? The title reflects its message  and theme because anybody can stunt, but it takes a special kind of person to stunt quietly and humbly and be so secure in who they are that they don't need outside validation. As I stated earlier Humbly Stunting is about living unapologetically in your truth no matter what! What’s next for you Nandes? I have a few music videos dropping really soon, and I am working on a EP that I plan to release later in the year. Until then I plan to keep motivating and inspiring my fans and supporters and keep delivering quality content that I hope will provide real value to their lives!
